Madden Me Not
To madden me is enviable by some,
Artificial wit is the cause of all guilt;
My strange complexion speaks my tone,
And the voice has been inherited.
Our minds are incompatible and unsafe
According to the laws of politics.
One lad defies us now in speech,
To madden it is to estrange them beyond belief.
An incomplete soul is a life too toned
In the disbelief unachievable and desperate.
May logic still weep on the lines I have found
To be the true words of the sort I call at home.

And your spine in the dirt, so put on a skirt
If you step on the field and dont wanna get hurt
Just bruised and beaten, all black and blue
And its been like that since madden 92

You better come harder than hard, rougher than rough
Put up your guard, get ready to crush
Its thangs on this field that you just cant change

I started playing Madden back in 1993 because that was the first year I actually made it into the game and that was a big thrill. When you're in Madden, you've made it, baby.

My Twenty Lines
I just read this poem about using just twenty lines,
and it brought these words to my mind.
Who are they to tell us how many lines we should use to speak?
This is America where we have a law known as freedom of speech.
Just twenty lines tell you something about my life in words.
To me that seem completely absurd.
My life is much more than just twenty lines.
Hell I am thirty nine.
And if they except me to sum up thirty nine years in twenty lines
They are complete outside their minds.
How am I suppose to tell you how I nearly died when I was child?
Or how my mother harsh words took away my smile:
In just twenty lines?
Like I said they must be out of their minds.
I guest I can do if I shorten my life.
I don't have to talk about how much I love my future wife.
But her love is the inspiration for a lot of my poems.
So to not talk about her would be wrong.
I have a lot more to say but I'm out of time.
I reach my limit of my twenty lines.
Let Me Believe In You
They came to me
To believe them
But I wanted them
To believe me
When I say there
Is no belief
But I believe in you and me.
I am not a non believer
But I can't believe
Those who believe others
Without believing in them.
Belief makes belief strong
As they believe all,
But how can I believe
Those things without
Logic and reason!
My belief will be
More strong if I found
Any logic behind,
So let me believe in you
Let me believe in me
We can do best of the best thing
Above all, we can be a good human being!

The want of logic annoys. Too much logic bores. Life eludes logic, and everything that logic alone constructs remains artificial and forced.

National Anthem For A Doomed Nation
With passing years for the nation that dies without battle;
Only the artificial fire of the rusted guns,
Only the faltering and false words’ rapid rattle,
Can nurse out only false and unachievable illusions.
All laugh at, for her; no neither love nor holy bells;
Nor any loyal voice of mourners for martyrs,
The cry, pain and demented elegy of empty shells;
And leaders laughing at, from corrupted sad shires.
O God! Lit the lamps to flee the evil roll,
Not in the hands of traitors, but in their heart and eyes;
Must flow the bright glimmers of good ties,
The joy of masses’ brows ought to be their call;
The flowers of sweetness and joy set in minds,
And each sick vibes flee down of finds.

Weep No More
Mary, don't you weep no more
Mary, don't you weep no more
'Cuz, I got your letter today
Pack my bags and I'm on my way
So, don't you weep no more
Don't you weep no more
Dry your eyes
Don't you shed no tears
The sun is risin'
So, put away your fears
Cuz, I know I once done you wrong
I want to say I'm sorry
And I'm comin' back home
So, don't you weep no more
Don' t you weep no more
I hear your voice in the wind
And I feel your tears in the rain
Shadows of night are falling
Can't you hear me call your name
I'm comin' home
I'm comin' home
So, don't you weep
Don't you weep
Don't you weep
Don't you weep no more

There's An Understanding Between Me and You (Stave Stanza Sestets)
There's an understanding between me and you,
we are twin souls in what we think and do
severally Cupid's arrows did us strike,
we are different and very much alike
our views, beliefs and minds are quite the same
I call it love, you belief or another name.
I am bewitched by your sultry voice
people call you my only object-choice,
while you do bring life to every day
your loving go further than you do say,
at times to you it is a kind of game;
I call it love, you belief or another name.

The Perfect Purpose Of Poetry
Within the human hearts that beat, God's rhythm sets the tone,
Such that each soul feels incomplete each time that it's alone...
Yet poetry has filled the need to cure that loneliness
And grant the ones who hear or read a share of happiness!
When thinking of the positives surrounding us each day,
It's poetry that often lifts with gifts that help portray...
A gentle verse or precious prose or something fanciful,
Can offer us some sweet repose that's like a miracle!
From sacred psalms that David wrote, to holy hymns in schools,
It's poetry that gets my vote, its passion never cools...
There's someone out there even now who's deep in thought again,
With furrowed lines upon his brow as lines flow from his pen...
He's not a shepherd or a king, he's just at home, sat down
And his brilliant brain seeks something to help to ease your frown...
Our words can change the world we see, turn hatred into love...
The perfect purpose of poetry? It's pleasing God above!
Within the human hearts that beat, God's rhythm sets the tone,
Such that each soul feels incomplete each time that it's alone...
Yet poetry has filled the need to cure that loneliness
And grant the ones who hear or read a share of happiness!

The silence speaks...
Sometimes, when you are alone,
In the dark cloudy night,
Only the lightening shows you the life,
A numb silence surrounds you.
You may feel the words from the air,
You would never think of the happening,
But you know what, the silence speaks,
The silence tells us our future,
The time we can't imagine, the uncertainty,
The silence knows all of those,
There is no explanation of that,
You may call it a prejudice or blind belief,
However you define it, it is the fact,
Silence speaks us, warns us, shows us.
It is a kind of opaque mirror,
Behind its, all the future are hidden,
But we only can see the light through it,
We just need to belief inside ourselves,
Then only then we can hear, we can feel,
The silence speaks to us...

Too Serious
How much more do we need,
Money, power and greed,
Possessions steal your soul, ooh.
Why are we so blind,
An arrogant, thoughtless kind,
We use our bodies and waste our time, ooh.
Social difficulties,
Desperate politics,
Disorders of the mind,
Ooh.
Life is a drag and its too senous,
Im so much in love,
But Im too serious,
The world is so sick,
And Im delirious.
Morality bores me its so serious,
No minds of our own,
And its too serious,
Governments lie and its so curious.
Too serious,
Too serious,
Too serious.
Tell you what we need,
We need less authority,
A lot more honesty, ooh,
Ive been preached to all my life,
Ive listened till I could cry,
But I dont need anymore, ooh,
Now we must make a stand,
To fight for the spirit in man,
The future is in our hands, ooh.
But life is a drag and its too serious,
Im so much in love that Im delirious,
Life is so strange and its mysterious,
No minds of our own,
And its too serious,
Morality bores me its so serious,
Governments lie and its so curious.
Too serious,
Too serious,
Too serious.

Oh, Son
Oh, son where were you all these years!
I wanted to hear that sweet voice of yours
In this lovely world I missed you for long time
You were not even asking me in prayer times
What has happened to you?
You were obedient, honest and true
What made you to be of forgetful nature?
You schooling, education and everything was made very much sure
You used to come and weep by my bed side
I could feel the tears dropp and the words you wanted to confide
I was helpless my dear son when you were just a kid
I was moved by your presence and it spun my head
I left this beautiful land on fateful day
I knew you were dragged and taken away
Your crying words still echo ears
I could understand your pain and fears
Years after years have turned into decades
My memory is now completely faded
You were not to find single second for mother
What was reason for all these years to bother?
I heard little fainted voice from distance
I loved some words closely for instance
You were asking for few minutes to talk
How can I afford to neglect you and walk away?
For all these years you might have been busy with your family?
May be facing tough life for scaling ladder not available readily
Yet it speaks of ignorance and ungratefulness on your part?
The life might have brought you glory but what a bad end with good start
Now you have found the little time
That too after retirement when no one hears you sometimes
It speaks of little childish attitude
But all my feelings for you do not dilute
For all these years you did not care
To see agony on my face and bothered
Mothers are still mothers and shall remain unique
Forget everything even if lately offered kick
I have no words to offer
As not many people may differ
Speak in different tone and not side
But I am always with you whenever you face danger and collide

Psychotic
To provoke a river, a river of psychosis,
Is to madden the puberty of religion;
I braise a brick of meat with oil to sew
The rivers of juice into the morsel.
To grip is to be busy with seconds I love,
Rivers of love ask us in displeasure.
A psychopath has realms of imagination,
From the rivers of impurity and hate.
Let me outwit the conversationalist,
Who staggers at my speech of psychotic words.

The Inner Voice - Conscience
Laws on earth can be made, unmade;
Laws can be bettered or worsened by change;
Laws may be just or unjust and never perfect;
Laws can be changed for comfort and convenience.
Laws may change from time to time;
Laws cannot reflect truth always;
Laws depend on the constituent makers;
Laws can never be ideal for all times!
But the inner Voice -the Conscience is static;
It always speaks the truth irrevocably;
It is not transmutable anytime;
It can never lie ever even by chance.
The Inner Voice scores over laws always;
One's conscience always tells what is right;
Freedom of man's conscience is paramount;
Laws to stifle the Inner Voice are simply futile!
Laws are needed but must be just and fair;
Laws aren't needed to fetter the conscience;
Laws are man-made and transmutable;
Conscience is God-given, remaining the same in everyone!
Obey the laws when they are fair and just;
Heed to your Conscience, God's law-maker within!

To Ellen Terry
Nay, bring forth none but daughters: daughters young,
The doubles of yourself; with face as fair,
Bearing as candid, gait as debonair,
And voice as deeply, musically strung:
That the less fortunate age, from this age sprung,
In those transmitted gleams of what you were,
May hear your laughter, gaze on your despair,
And all but know the witchery of your tongue.
Thus shall the unsteadfast dagger of Macbeth
Be nerved by his male spouse; thus Shylock's knife,
Glittering to smite, be dulled by Portia's breath;
Thus saucy Beatrice be won for life,
Juliet in loving warble out her life,
And true Ophelia madden unto death.

Empty Promises
What good are words that have no meaning?
They typify what has become demeaning.
We hear these words every 4 years
out of their mouths and into our ears.
The artificial eloquence of their speech
they believe has surely begun to reach
the minds of those who will cast their vote.
And so they promise the world and quote.
'I will lower your taxes.'
'I will stop the wars.'
'I will give you good health care.'
'I will close the borders.'
'I will bring back your jobs.'
'I will keep you safe.'
All of these quotes are part of the drama
and not one of them will quiet the trauma
that is engulfing our scene.
What do they call it?
The American Dream.
The dream when you awaken is just a nightmare
that keeps you reaching with a song and a prayer
that America could be a beacon that shines
with no more empty promises to fill our minds.

Strange But True
Okay, let me say this quick - before I start 2 cry
Ure the only one that I gave it 2, the one I fantasised 4
And time away from u has taught me
What I should have known
That this hole Im trying 2 fill with another - yeah, its grown
And I got your package
But when I tried 2 write back I bailed
See, trying 2 express the future, sometimes language fails
And over this time Ive learned
My life force is increased by knowing u
Every door that closes, another one opens
Strange but true
Strange but true
No regrets because I forget the unfamiliar faces
Those petty lies and alibis, just golddiggas chasing
Dreams of sovereignty, they tried to come between u and me
A curse therein set forces a chain of events
That only freed me when I remembered
Where I was and who I am
The only prince that will ever rule this holy land
All understand and all standunder this affirmation now
By the power invested in me by god...
All negativity bows
Strange but true, lets see what u can do
U may have lost me, but I found myself
The ones who love me without condition - this is my wealth
And with these words I will win
Repeat them over and over again
All understand and all standunder this affirmation now
By the power invested in me by god...
All negativity bows
All negativity bows
All negativity bows
Strange but true, lets see what u can do
Strange but true, lets see what u can do
All negativity bows
(strange but true)
(strange but true)
Strange but true (true, true...)
All negativity bows
(strange but true, lets see what u can do)
All negativity bows
(all negativity bows)
Strange but true
Strange but true
(strange but true)
(strange but true)
Strange but true
