Kingdom of the Sea
The flower of the sea,
How wonderful to be.
This ancient rose why oceans cease,
The majesty is supreme due to ease.
The seas ebb and flow
Due to the moon below.
My beauty is seen as god sees its own,
And crowns of the queens shine and bemoan.
Each sea is resolute, mighty
As seeds are blown across happily.

Untapped...
I see beauty in the night
Graceful is the sight
As the moon floats
Amidst oceans of stars
In see beauty in nature
In the sun masculine embrace
So much beauty in the clouds
Even seas confess in rousing waves
I see beauty in the day
In the reflection of your face
So much beauty in may
As it ushers the new rain
There is beauty in your eyes
The curl of your hair...
So much beauty in your heart
And the joy that comes with your smile.

Rose For A Rose
A rose for a rose
That is all that I can say,
As I present, the flower to you.
You can look upon its beauty
As I have looked upon yours,
Now you know the turmoil I go through.
As the beauty of the rose,
I thought it second to none,
Until that day that we met.
Now to me the rose is just a flower,
And its aroma is but a scent,
And raindrops, are tears I have wept.
A rose for a rose,
A masterpiece for the painter,
That is what, I am giving you.
You may gaze upon this flower
You can close your eyes and wish
And now the rose is wishing upon you.
Your skin is that of silk
Your beauty is that of mine eyes,
And your soul is that of the free wind.
So now I present you the rose,
As a man presents GOD his soul,
And know you’ll know where I have been.

Prose to a Rose
Such A flower is the rose
Its colour bursting red
Such a flower if the rose
The flower of passion the poets often said
I could gaze upon its beauty
And not lift thine eyes
And when it closes its petals to go to sleep
A tear of sadness rises in my eyes
Such a flower is the rose
For it reminds me of you my dear
When ever I gaze upon a rose
It makes me wish you were here
Its petals are soft as thy skin
The colour like your lips
Its fragrance is sweet and pure
Like the flavor of your kiss
Such a flower is the rose it beauty
Has been endless through out time
And when ever I see a rose be reassured my love
You are for ever on my mind

Beautiful One
Oh beautiful one, adorned with spell
To ravage my world as might a sweet angel.
Oh beautiful thing, so much at ease:
Allure of caressing breeze in touch gentle.
Oh beautiful creature, sail me do,
As floating on seas of halcyon blue tincture.
You beautiful being, gracing charm
And features that render feel of deep texture.
Your beautiful poise in glide supreme,
Gives such like a vista honed as from heaven.
That beautiful art of face ornate,
Not ever to understate or be riven.
Your beautiful flame of pulchritude
Doth dizzy me high, so I conclude always
You beautiful girl forever be
My shining Janette; my guide; my stairway.

Wish I were a flower
Wonderful flower in the garden
A facet of nature's creative art
Soft lovely petals
Eye-catching colours
Heart rendering fragrance
Happily sways the flower on the plant
Though its life is only for a day
Least does it care for appreciation
Not a soul may notice it - Yet
it happily dances on the plant;
Wish I could be that flower.

You Great Goddess Of Nature
You great Goddess of Nature I see the beauty you create every day
In saying you are the only God I know of I do mean what I say
'Tis said that you and Mother Nature are one and of the same
Goddess of Nature or Mother Nature you go by either name
The beauty that you create is for all to enjoy
I have loved the beauty you create ever since I was a boy
If others have their own Gods well that's okay with me
Each to their own belief as some do say for that's how it ought to be
You great Goddess of Nature of you little I know
Your great and ancient waterways to your huge oceans flow
The Goddess of the Seasons the creator supreme
You do not have an equal that's how to me 'twould seem
You great Goddess of Nature though to you I never pray
My love for you grows stronger with every passing day.

Notions
Many of us state the notions of presence,
Mighty rivers flow and dive into the abyss;
Kicking me in the leg and then arms fly
For the might of rivers is high and mighty.
Let the years roll on like the seas and rivers,
Jumping along the bed of oceans,
Lulling the fight of the whirlpools.
Open a door to the heavens once they cascade,
Let the door be of love and mighty rivers justify
Our fight for survival,
For survival is the better goal for one’s trust.

Is Love
Love is like the bloom of a flower
Opening up after a spring shower
Showing the world of its beauty known
And also knowing it's sad to be alone.
Love is like the sky above
Where the stars are hung and flies the dove
The masterpiece created by GOD for us
To show to us all in this world there is love.
Love is like the ocean deep and blue
Always present and always true
As deep as the oceans or the seas might be
There is the wanting for all to believe.
Love is like the wind that has blown
We feel it upon us, but it's never shown
We hear it we sense it we know it's there
It is love, so with another we try to share.
Love is like a flower's bloom
Opening never to late or ever to soon
But opening up in the midst of love and spring
And hoping one day that it will bring forth a ring.

Her Majesty the Rose
Here in my garden at the long day's close
I sing again her Majesty the Rose.
The Rose who can with magic most complete
Bring worshippers again about her feet
Forsaking other loves, who, thro' the year
Had won them by sheer beauty, shining clear.
Now, where the Queen beside the trellis grows,
Courtiers acclaim, 'Her Majesty the Rose!'
The Rhododendron by her side appears
With all that magic quality of tears;
Patrician truly, yet still lacking, she,
That touch of rare imperial majesty.
Viola, violet worship at her feet;
Proudly the flaunting poppy would compete,
Yet fails, for all her striving, to disclose
The grace that guards her Majesty the Rose.
Oh, we have walked 'mid many lovely things
In lovely gardens - walked where Lilac swings
Her jewelled censers, wreathed in wondrous scent;
Where Gladiolus, giving great content,
Holds up her prideful head to so outshine
The meeker charm of Phlox and Columbine.
And yet, how soon, how swift their threldom goes
When once we greet her Majesty the Rose.
City of Roses, herein lies your wealth
This beauty, stealing in, almost by stealth
As garden after garden springs from earth
To bless the gardener with fresh beauty's birth.
A gift most grand, a miracle to see
Of rich content and meet prosperity
Wealth dwells in beauty, as each liegeman knows
Who bows before her Majesty the Rose.

Growth of a Rose
A rose has been planted in it's place
Waiting to begin it's life as a beautiful flower
A shower of rain falls on the rose
Awakening the rose from it's long slumber
Beneath the ground where this flower is planted
It's roots have started to grow out from the rain
Soon the rain has stopped and the sun shines
The warmth of the sun's rays help the rose grow
Seeing the bright rays shine from it's source
The rose begins to reach out to the sky
Finally escaping the cold dark place the flower was in
It has at last faced the bright world for the first time
Revealing it's beauty and experiencing the feeling of pure happiness

Pro Rege Nostro
WHAT have I done for you,
England, my England?
What is there I would not do,
England, my own?
With your glorious eyes austere,
As the Lord were walking near,
Whispering terrible things and dear
As the Song on your bugles blown, England --
Round the world on your bugles blown!
Where shall the watchful Sun,
England, my England,
Match the master-work you've done,
England, my own?
When shall he rejoice again
Such a breed of mighty men
As come forward, one to ten,
To the Song on your bugles blown, England --
Down the years on your bugles blown?
Ever the faith endures,
England, my England: --
'Take and break us: we are yours,
England, my own!
Life is good, and joy runs high
Between English earth and sky:
Death is death; but we shall die
To the Song on your bugles blown, England --
To the stars on your bugles blown!'
They call you proud and hard,
England, my England:
You with worlds to watch and ward,
England, my own!
You whose mailed hand keeps the keys
Of such teeming destinies,
You could know nor dread nor ease,
Were the Song on your bugles blown, England --
Round the Pit on your bugles blown!
Mother of Ships whose might,
England, my England,
Is the fierce old Sea's delight,
England, my own,
Chosen daughter of the Lord,
Spouse-in-Chief of the ancient Sword,
There's the menace of the Word
In the Song of your bugles blown, England --
Out of heaven on your bugles blown!

On The High Seas
two ancient bodies set on a voyage
on the high seas of passion
outside through the window
the mighty sea roared
the waves, rose and fell
at their rhytmic best...

Buy Me A Rose
For the touching love of a rose
a rose becomes love
a tangible love
a sweetly scented love
wonderful eye captivating love.
I love the rose in thorn
extreme beauty within
and my heart desireth one
for the love of a rose.
I'll bottle it on my table
beside my poem writing pad
away from the hatred of the sun
and disguise of broisers.
I need one
just have me one rose flower
the tangible love.

Sydney
In her grey majesty of ancient stone
She queens it proudly, though the sun's caress
Her piteous cheeks, ravished of bloom, confess,
And her dark eyes his bridegroom glance have know.
Robed in her flowing parks, serene, alone,
She fronts the east; and with the tropic stress
Her smooth brow ripples into weariness;
Yet hers the sea for footstool, and for throne
A continent predestined. Round her trails
The turbid squalor of her streets, and dim
Into the dark heat-haze her domes flow up;
Her long lean fingers, with their grey-old nails,
Giving her thirsty lips to the cool brim
Of the bronze beauty of her harbour's cup.

Exiguity of man
The high peaks
With tall teaks,
Look down upon man
As he them seeks.
The steep dales'
Lush green vales,
Sneer at man
As he them scales.
The deep seas
Waves never cease,
They deride man
As he them sees.
Nature is mighty
With all its bounty,
Man is miniscule;
A small entity.

When Rivers Begin To Recede..
Rivers recede often in search of their spots of origin
And the mighty oceans begin to recall their past!
Rivers never get back to them.
A river whispers something into the ears of the paternal mountain
Her travelogue is it perhaps.
She falls silent then.
In the depths of the seas a sigh is heard
And it reaches the ears of none.
No river begins to flow again!
The pearls of the seas are shattered across the shores
And the carcasses of little Mermaids afloat the shallow waves.
At the tops of the peaks one hears the shouts of joy.

May I Turn You into a Beautiful Flower!
May I turn you into a beautiful flower!
More beautiful than it sounds, in the garden;
No wind shall turn you pale, with its power,
Your beauty covering it, as a shield and hidden.
The roses have a beauty, for them to bow,
And the children pose a charm, for them to pluck.
A flower so pure and gentle to touch, a dove,
And the others, decline to shine and duck.
A flower in the hair of the princess of the castle,
That the jewels in her crown and her heart shall envy.
And as long as my eyes can see, and my heart can beat,
So long shall you shine, as the beauty, as this flower.
