Angel And Beauty
An angel with butterfly wings,
gossamer touch of beautiful things.

I was always puzzled by the fact that people have a great deal of trouble and pain when and if they are forced or feel forced to change a belief or circumstance which they hold dear. I found what I believe is the answer when I read that a Canadian neurosurgeon discovered some truths about the human mind which revealed the intensity of this problem. He conducted some experiments which proved that when a person is forced to change a basic belief or viewpoint, the brain undergoes a series of nervous sensations equivalent to the most agonizing torture.

A Boy Fishing (Cavatina Sequence)
Alone he watches the water ripple,
without movement
he waits with the line going in quite deep,
in a moment
the muddy water stirs in little circles,
tense enjoyment
goes through the boy as line sings, starts running,
he jerks the rod, the fish jumps, it's stunning
with its golden silver scales glittering,
it dips under
and the fight is on as it twists and turns,

Child Abuse
How many pleas go unanswered
as their cries echo through the night?
Too many, I am afraid to say
as we hear about child abuse almost every day.
Committed by those who are most trusted,
our guardians of the young
are the ones who defile
the young lives in their care.
What about those who are abused
will they become abusers one day
for the treatment they have received?
That question will remain unanswered
until sometime in future years.

Author's Note:
Although this poem may depict that all child carers are abusers, they are not. Although in the news in England of late there have been several cases in which child abusers have been people who were in charge of children. I wish now to apologise to the genuine carers that are perfectly innocent if they feel offended by my poem.
This poem was written to underline a question do those abused in turn become abusers.

We Negotiate
Electric as the wind in sizzling mode,
The sweat of the train is at best and bliss;
I cleanly arrive supported by statesmen,
The friendly haste is suspense,
These wars are fought from the ground.
Let discussion be swift in speed and scale,
After destination is the result of suspense,
We are clever as the weasel at news and sorts,
Our trains deplore the destinations of conversations.
My wind has forced my arrival,
The chief accuses the abusers,
The debate has turned into a riot
Of single gongs, awful wrongful talk.
Electric is the wind from house of importance,
The house of the offices and officialdom.
