In Duty
Then in duty they fall and praise,
Optional deeds surpass the multitudes;
These crowds are the masses,
Their voices surrender to the hatter.
Hoist the sins as if you transgress,
Cities of roundness are circular.
Let these voices spring and deliver
The knowledge of a forgotten past.
Love has enveloped the majority
Of thinkers and philosophers.
Loves unite to desperately find
The families of virtue, the virtues
Of divinity, and the virtues blessed.

Sins and pleasure
Pleasure of sins lures me to sin.
Sins of pleasure follow me in.
I sow sins to harvest pleasure
And sow pleasure to harvest sins.
Virtues might promise me pleasure
But it is sins that assure of it.
Sins are the food meant for senses.
Virtues are the food made of ego.
I do sins to derive pleasure
And then repent to cleanse my soul.
Virtues I stay with; sins I flirt with.

Sonnet: Let Goodness Always Prevail
The mammoth trees are cut for timber's sake;
Large trees along the roads are felled as well;
The smaller ones in wild now grow and swell;
Then clouds to pour the rain, how can God make!
When virtues aren't nurtured in life sometime,
Then vices grow with vengeance in man's heart;
When bells of praise and hymns to God don't chime,
Blessings and grace from heaven can't depart.
When man's good deeds are stopped for reasons much,
His sins grow from a mole to mountain size;
How can the Maker's favours ever touch,
As sins abound and soul afills with vice?
For God to bless, our righteousness must grow,
And seeds of virtues, good deeds, one must sow!

Comfortable Kindness
The comfortable has a region,
We have no excellent virtue
But the virtue of virtues,
For this compels our comfort.
Damaged we stay, and defenceless;
Defend us now that dirt arises,
From the days of broken natures.
Complete my exact existence,
Instil the hearts you hear with kindness.
The disillusioned beliefs infer a madness
That we have no complex with,
Just deeds are again our command.
Common virtues shall attain our circle,
The circle of kindness and relief.

My Eyes Open Into All Citadels
born into soft cradle songs
hymn human heart speech
across millennia passings
my eyes open into all citadels
world faiths winged prayers
heavenward cultures aspirings
purity worships in pristine beauty smiles
radiant as each breath divinity shines
in eyes sparkle love peace God happiness
all beauty all arts all sculptures
dedicated by prayer worship hearts
singing their soul divinity praises
all sung in love purity creator offerings
all is heavenly music cascading rhythms
all is harmony glorious angelic melodies
these lines words sing to me in crystal rhythms
times past so clearly felt benediction worships
eyes shine in joy love as God souls embraces
all praise God with nobility of their services
all love God across landscapes ethnic diversities
all praise God with sincerity hearts devotions
'Dotted with holy shrines, churches, mosques
Built in antique styles fitting home for mystics
Varied cultures, unique rituals and festal airs'
all praise God with singing love life heart offerings
souls great repositories of virtues vices dreams ideals
soaking up life truths serene silence purity seekings
I love the diversity of all these sincere people
pouring out their love, their worship to God;
these beloved souls share God love one people
in heaven everywhere voices sing songs are sung
by each individual in love and praise of God;
different genders, voices, songs, but all sparkling
with their individual love praise worship of God;
I also want to sing only of love not differences
a great sea of love washes souls into presence God

Virtues are acquired through endeavor, Which rests wholly upon yourself. So, to praise others for their virtues Can but encourage one's own efforts.

Escaping Childhood
Another scream, finds my ears
Thundering booms, as doors are slammed
'Welcome to the mad house'
I say, silently
As not to wake, the voices inside
I lay still, in hope, the voices
Won't find me
A tear of regret
Relentlessly, falls from my cheek
As I long for, the good ole days
The sound of my single tear
Hitting my pillow
Wake the voices
My soul, tries to escape
This maze in my mind
To many voices to evade
I lose myself to the voices
Again
I can see
But I have no say
My life is not my own
I'm trapped
Behind a wall of hurt and pain
Still, the voices are in control
I beg for relief
But they laugh
And mock me
Unable to stop them
I surrender, completely
They win, again
As I lose
Never, do I wish
I was someone else
All I wish, is to be myself

Schizophrenia
Many voices heard in a head,
surrounded by family now in dread.
Sensing something was so wrong,
the family quietly moved along,
hoping the voices would go away,
praying that they wouldn/t stay.
Shizophrenia, now in full bloom
had come to attack one of their own.
Like a nightmare in the light
It came at daytime, not the night.
Who's this person we don't know
that paces all day to and fro?
Sometimes lucid, sometimes not,
our stomachs tied up in a knot.
Once so normal, that is gone.
Waking up to another dawn,
facing madness that's so sad,
all the goodness has turned bad.
Where are these voices coming from?
They repeat themselves just like a drum.
Are they a different reality
that they can hear and we can't see?
Please let the voices quiet down.
Let's see the smile and not the frown.
The best we can hope for seems bizarre
that somewhere someone is searching far
to find some help that on some day
can make those voices go away.
Until that time we'll try our best
to deal with this. This is our test.
-Dedicated to all schizophrenics and their families

Lights And Virtues
(Jackson Browne)
Here's to lights and virtues
Here's to truths yet to be known
Knowledge to light the darkness
The search for things of your own
Here's to lights and virtues
Here's to reaching higher ground
A life of hope and purpose
Here's to strength yet to be found
Honor - though it goes unrecognized
And truth - though liars abound
The pleasure of love and friendship
The courage to be alone

All ye nations, praise the Lord,
All ye nations, praise the Lord,
All ye lands your voices raise;
Heaven and earth with loud accord,
Praise the Lord, for ever praise.
For his truth and mercy stand,
Past, and present, and to be,
Like the years of his right hand,
Like his own eternity.
Praise Him, ye who know his love;
Praise Him from the depth beneath;
Praise Him in the heights above;
Praise your Maker, all that breathe.

How Blessed Am I
How blessed am I for being born
Of parents good and God-fearing!
How blessed am I for siblings nine
Who made my childhood truly great!
How blessed am I for being made
Handsome and healthy, fair and hale!
How blessed am I for gaining ken
And virtues, wisdom, fortitude!
How blessed am I for being reared
So well by parents dutiful!
How blessed am I for achievements
Quite praiseworthy in life on earth!
How blessed am I for having fared
So well in life in every field!
How blessed am I for talents, gifts
That most men cannot dream to have!
How blessed am I for miracles
That gave my life a newer lease!
How blessed am I for finding time
To thank and praise the Almighty!
How blessed am I for grace of God
That goads me on in heaven’s road!
How blessed am I for everything
God gave me amply in His time!
How blessed am I for love of God
That chose me to be Christian!
How blessed am I for hope and faith
That help me follow Jesus’ steps!
How blessed am I for poesy
That made my life stress-free, worthwhile!
How blessed am I for God’s with me
And I’m with Him in earthly life!

Chant To The Sun
voices of men
like wailing of the rivers
like riding wild horses
and catching wolves
voices of men
strong and determined
for freedom
under the ruling sun
voices of men
cascading like the Niagara
falls
voices of men so alive
muscles of their arms
shining like metals
to the moon
voices of men
friends of nature
chanting
for more love
life
peace and
harmony

Clearer is better than Clever!
Wonderful is that mind,
One with the heart where Purest among pure shines,
Knowledge gained is mere reflection,
Knowledge is that mud under the lake,
Where the lotus of wisdom has its roots,
Raising above the polluted mind,
Raising above the pollution of surroundings,
Reflecting the eternal;
The eternal beauty of eternal Truth,
The long evolution of that nothing blowing itself,
Blooming into everything,
Developing eyes to heart,
May be seeing world through compassionate and loving heart!
Vission to mind, setting ideals and goals,
Mastering the mind and body,
By well trained and disciplined mind,
Winning mind by mind itself!
Intelligence and wit,
Guided by virtues,
Love and compassion,
Seeing same Truth shining everywhere,
Shining in everyone!
Nothing I am unless I keep myself clean and clear,
Healthy, worthy and wealthy
All are good for one who is good,
Every vission is clear if one's mind and heart are clear,
When knowledge purified by selflessnes,
Words, deeds integrate with thought,
Thought is the root of Lotus of good words,
Where in the seeds of deeds develop!
Born as nothing out of nothing,
One who adopts good virtues,
Senses bloom with fragrance of sensibility,
Sensibility becomes worship,
Reflected in work,
When work become worship,
Deeds become selfless,
More and more sensibility polishes intelligence,
Intelligence shine with knowledge,
Knowledge glows as wisdom,
And wisdom adorned by love and compassion,
Self Glorified into eternal Beauty,
Sathyam,
Shivam,
Sundaram!

Nine Voices
Anderson/squire/howe/white/sherwood/khoroshev
On a beach
North africa
Nine tribesmen stand alone
Waiting for a distant call
Waiting for the world to answer
Thru' the night of a thousand stars
Encircled by the light
They began to sing a new song
Of forces that surround us
Nine voices

Nine voices
When the sun came up they sang
As the perfect calendar says
Each had the power of people
Speaking new languages
They gave forgiveness meaning
New ways of letting go
Each child is born for greatness
With forces that surround them

Deranged Customs
Return to the customs despicable and deranged,
Dirtier respect voices the malcontents,
Dirt has enemies of course.
Return to the reading volumes of the pages
That give surrender, and irreconcilable
Facts, overriding our thoughts as we read.
The returnable thought shall deliver praises
Guaranteed by bent animals,
For their legs and arms are not ours;
And where are their heads?
The only solution to the bottle of vapors
Is to spread the glass by smashing it, then
Receive a blessing for the action of elegance,
Soon the forces hoist the whole caliber
Of rich men and women who sign their petitions.

Perceptions
Ghosts don’t haunt; fears of ghosts would.
God does not assure; faith in Him would.
Sins don’t punish; guilt of sin would.
Virtues don’t reward; pride of virtue would.

Compliments and Consolations
Accept your happiness,
It is your inheritance of divinity
For your god-like arrival
On the human scene.
The universe loves you
As if you were a resident of Mt. Olympus.
Live each day like a stroll through a spring park
Where every flower petal waves to you
Wafting the perfume of hope.
Secret voices are waiting to offer you
Compliments and consolations
When you need them most.

One Love
Let us claim our separate aim
Let us join our separate fear
Let us live in one dream
If we bind our body soul and mind
Virtues will surelly exude out of vice
We cannot live in fear and avart danger
Life is once and once is everything
Hence the wall had start to crack
Only mentainance will fix it back
We all should play by the rules
Me you and all should part in sleep
We are all casts with a role to play
No one is made to stray
There are voices everywhere
Some soft some hard but they preach
And many of them sing
They preach and sing one love
They called us to our sences
They draw us to our spirits
One love the voices ecko in our ears

Voices
If only there were a way to find
the return to sanity from an insane mind,
But pills and counseling oh so much
doesn't seem to help those out of touch
with the world about them that you're in
with peace of mind and not the din
of voices you can't hear.
If only the remembrance of a time gone away
could sneak back in for just a day,
But the door has closed on yesterday.
And those voices always seem to stay.
What are they saying? Why are they there?
Where you are it's so hard to bear
the voices that they hear.
If only the world were a different place
where tortured souls would not have to face
the torment inside that is their plight.
Then maybe the voices would leave at night
and find someplace in the universe
to have their say and cast their curse
and rid them of voices they hear.
