Harmonic Water
Harmonic rivers cast their tempo
To alleviate suffering and sureness;
The shadows of the rivers probe
And foster children as they are neglected;
Faster than swimmers we aid the river-people,
Like an outward hand and spirit.
Want the desirous feeding grounds!
A general havoc ensues to tell the tale;
My fountain showers its blessing and appears
Glum, like itself it walks in the air, sir,
Walking until it drops and sits and stands
To goad the food from the plate.
A little heaven probes into desires,
Telling a tempo of ridicule,
That harmonised the plain features
Of this page and these pages of neglect,
The offering of somewhat yesterday
Struck at the heart of wide jokes.

Tea With Me
three beats a tempo
three steps a tempo
I sing Love Is Just Around The Corner
how cozy it is on the street
three words a tempo
three notes a tempo
you answer to it with a smile
that is how you nod off key sound
unexpectedly good timing at this corner
I run into you
it seems this is my day or ours
either way it doesn't matter
what it is
we are together today
The Rivers Too Wide
(morrison)
The rivers too wide now for crossing
The waters rush too loud for talking
We never build bridges for walking
cause the rivers too wide
A gentle stream once flowed between us
But love could cross it easily
Till stormy skies brought bitter teardrops
And made that stream a raging river
Come between you and me
The rivers too wide now for crossing
The waters rush too loud for talking
We never build bridges for walking
Theres no getting to the other side
The rivers too wide now for crossing
The current goes too deep for mending
It looks like an unhappy ending
cause the rivers too wide
Good lessons learned are not forgotten
We gave up love to save our pride
Next time Im faced with rising waters
Ill build a bridge of love and kindness
Reaching to the other side
The rivers too wide now for crossing
The waters rush too loud for talking
We never build bridges for walking
Theres no getting to the other side
The rivers too wide now for crossing
The current goes too deep for mending
It looks like an unhappy ending
cause the rivers too wide

By The Rivers Dark
By the rivers dark
I wandered on.
I lived my life
In babylon.
And I did forget
My holy song:
And I had no strength
In babylon.
By the rivers dark
Where I could not see
Who was waiting there
Who was hunting me.
And he cut my lip
And he cut my heart.
So I could not drink
From the river dark.
And he covered me,
And I saw within,
My lawless heart
And my wedding ring,
I did not know
And I could not see
Who was waiting there,
Who was hunting me.
By the rivers dark
I panicked on.
I belonged at last
To babylon.
Then he struck my heart
With a deadly force,
And he said, this heart:
It is not yours.
And he gave the wind
My wedding ring;
And he circled us
With everything.
By the rivers dark,
In a wounded dawn,
I live my life
In babylon.
Though I take my song
From a withered limb,
Both song and tree,
They sing for him.
Be the truth unsaid
And the blessing gone,
If I forget
My babylon.
I did not know
And I could not see
Who was waiting there,
Who was hunting me.
By the rivers dark,
Where it all goes on;
By the rivers dark
In babylon.

Please Do Not Ask Me How A River Feels
children bathe in the river.
we were children once, we bathe in the river
we float and go with the flow of the river
we lied to mother we were afraid of father
but we were children once and we bathed in the river
we all know how a river felt
throughout our bodies
time runs like a river how many times shall i tell you that
we had mud all over
we were once children we grow to be men
strong arms and swift feet
we caught fish
we claim to be men with responsibilities
we are still children at heart we still feel the rivers running on our skins
i know, i still know how a river feels
time does not know how to kill the feel of rivers
do not ask me then if i have forgotten the river
we are men with responsibilities we have gone away
far from what we are
the river still flows and it will never stop

There is a river that runs from the mountains
That one river is all rivers
All rivers are that one
There is a tree that stands in the forest
That one tree is all forests
All trees are that one
There is a flower that blooms in the desert
That one blossom is all flowers
All flowers are that one
There is a bird that sings in the jungle
That one song is all music
All songs are that one
It is the song of life
It is the flower of faith
It is the tree of temptation
It is the river of no regret
There is a child that cries in the ghetto
That one child is all children
All children are that one
There is a vision that shines in the darkness
That one vision is all of our dreams
It is a vision of heaven
It is a child of promise
It is the song of life
It is the river of no regret
Let this be a voice for the mountains
Let this be a voice for the river
Let this be a voice for the forest
Let this be a voice for the flowers
Let this be a voice for the ocean
Let this be a voice for the desert
Let this be a voice for the children
Let this be a voice for the dreamers
Let this be a voice of no regret

All The Rivers
'All the rivers run into the sea.'
Like the pulsing of a river,
The motion of a song,
Wind the olden words along
The tortuous turnings of my thoughts whenever
I sit beside the sea.
'All the rivers run into the sea.'
O you little leaping river,
Laugh on beneath your breath!
With a heart as deep as death,
Strong stream, go patient, grave, and hasting never,-
I sit beside the sea.
'All the rivers run into the sea.'
Why the passion of a river?
The striving of a soul?
Calm the eternal waters roll
Upon the eternal shore. At last, whatever
Seeks it-finds the sea.
'All the rivers run into the sea.'
O thou bounding, burning river,
Hurrying heart! I seem
To know (so one knows in a dream)
That in the waiting heart of God forever,
Thou too shalt find the sea.

Can it be Memory, Inspiration, or Figment Causing This?
The poems I write are a story of my life
They are a foreseeable future, a regret filled past
In this they stain, in my poems they stain
The dreams, my ideals, life lessons, and hopes
Flood on to the page waiting to be read
Stranger they become
Stranger to be in my mind
How they come to be there
That bolt of lines that swirl and toil in my mind
They say for my allure, they sway for my attention
'Take me', they cry, 'Take me for your own'
'Release us from here, bring us to life and capture us in
your work! '
'Immortalize us in history on that page! '
They sway faster in an angry tempo
Chanting now on how to be used
Begging, pleading to be used
I grasp the pen and paper
Pull my laptop closer
I write and type as fast as my hands can go
The tempo soothes, and the swaying stops
All is quiet
All is empty
They are released, glorified on this magnificent page.

Always
(graham russell/guy allison/michael sherwood)
I can see hills touch the sky
Heaven and earth, you and i
A world we will always be
Here in the silence we lie
Shadows we cast, you and i
Speak for eternity
(chorus)
Pressed between pages
Flowers will die
Stories may end as time passes by
You and I will always be
With every word that I hear
Whenever whispers are near
I can believe in fate
Promises made, only one
Yesterday fades from the sun
And falls to a new embrace
Years overflow
As rivers run dry
Here in a moment of time passing by
You and I will always be, will always be
(chorus)

The Rivers of a Poet
The Rivers of the Poet
The verses of the poet
vary from the rivers
though they also flow
while circulating inside
until materializing
in words and verses
that others can see.
The poet’s soul communions
with the exterior world
and flows like the rivers
with each inspiration.
The rivers of the poet
do dry inside of him
as he writes,
but it is forever
that they flow in written form
upon the sheets of paper.
That is how
the rivers of the poet
leave and manage to stay
until another river
appears and flows
with another inspiration.

Three Minute Positive Not Too Country Up-temp Love Song
This is a three minute song
To tell her that I love her
And how wonderful we get along
A sweet sentiment that's borderline slick
A lotta right and not much wrong
It's a little bit edgy, but softer than spaghetti
Weak yet redundantly strong
It's a three minute positive
Not too country up-tempo love song
Yeah, it's a three minute positive
Not to country up-tempo love song
It's a way to tell her that I love her
But it can't be too long
There'll be no drinkin', no cheatin',
No lyin', no leavin'
That stuff it just don't belong
In a three minute positive
Not too country up-tempo love song
You won't hear four-letter words
Just me tellin' her
That she's the every breath I draw
And how I can't live without her
And I could never doubt her
'Cause she could never do no wrong
Well it's the right amount of timin'
The proper form of rhymin'
A little guitar then it's gone
It's a three minute positive
Not too country up-tempo love song
Yeah, it's a three minute positive
Not to country up-tempo love song
It's a way to tell her that I love her
But it can't be too long
There'll be no drinkin', no cheatin',
No lyin', no leavin'
That stuff it just don't belong
In a three minute positive
Not too county up-tempo love song
Yeah in a three minute positive
Not too country up-tempo love song
There'll be no drinkin', no cheatin',
No lyin', no leavin'
That stuff it just don't belong
In a three minute positive
Not too country up-tempo love song
Yeah in a three minute positive
Not too country up-tempo love song

Rivers Of Ice
Dont need the money nothing can buy
All that I feel under the skies
Shadows were falling my heart beat inside
We walk through the fields to the rivers of ice
Days turn to colour and darkness to light
She said I want you I need you I want you in my life
Love in the shadows the blood rushed inside
Carry on little saviour to the end of the line
I get high for ever
Till the river runs dry for every
Ooh for ever
Its been so many years now I still cant forget
Love flew like an eagle in gods wilderness
Shadows were falling oh my heart beat inside
We kissed on the bridge above the river of ice
I get high for ever
The river runs dry for ever
I get high for ever
The river runs dry for ever
Ooh she tells me
Ooh she tells me
Tell the end of the line
Shadows were falling
On rivers of ice

Reading poetry on the Web
i wade through rivers
of diamonds, rubies,
plain rocks and stones
that criss cross the world
picking up gems
poetry on the web
i wade through rivers
to get to international souls
sacred rivers of all kinds
ganges, indus, nile, mekong
chao phraya
filled with stones
heads of all kinds,
round, flat, sharp,
black, white, green,
brown, yellow, big and small,
sand, silt, gravel,
between them when lucky
precious gems turn up to greet me
fishes help spread the magic
liven up nooks and corners
some sprint, some plain swim
among these, the best rivers
are crystal clear,
a dazzling picture of sky, heaven
taking the breath of god
as they whisper a poetic tale
immediately marked in gold by the morning sun

Till The Rivers Run Dry
You ask how long Ill love you
Its hard to explain but Ill try
Tell me how long has the sun been shining
Above us in the sky?
Till the last day of forever,
If I have it my way well stay together
Till the rivers run dry Ill be loving you.
Till the mountains have crumbled
Ill always be true
And if for some reason you say goodbye
Ask me how long I would cry
Till all the rivers run dry
This path that were walking
May be rough and rocky sometimes
But well believe in one another
Whatever we find
And when you need a hand to guide you
I will be there walking beside you
Till the rivers run dry

Salvador Dali
The face of the precipice is black with lovers;
The sun above them is a bag of nails; the spring's
First rivers hide among their hair.
Goliath plunges his hand into the poisoned well
And bows his head and feels my feet walk through his brain.
The children chasing butterflies turn round and see him there
With his hand in the well and my body growing from his head,
And are afraid. They drop their nets and walk into the wall like smoke.
The smooth plain with its mirrors listens to the cliff
Like a basilisk eating flowers.
And the children, lost in the shadows of the catacombs,
Call to the mirrors for help:
'Strong-bow of salt, cutlass of memory,
Write on my map the name of every river.'
A flock of banners fight their way through the telescoped forest
And fly away like birds towards the sound of roasting meat.
Sand falls into the boiling rivers through the telescopes' mouths
And forms clear drops of acid with petals of whirling flame.
Heraldic animals wade through the asphyxia of planets,
Butterflies burst from their skins and grow long tongues like plants,
The plants play games with a suit of mail like a cloud.
Mirrors write Goliath's name upon my forehead,
While the children are killed in the smoke of the catacombs
And lovers float down from the cliffs like rain.

Vivere
Vivere
passato tanto tempo
Vivere!
un ricordo senza tempo
Vivere
un po' come perder tempo
Vivere..... e Sorridere!.......
Vivere!
passato tanto tempo
Vivere!
un ricordo senza tempo
Vivere!
un po' come perder tempo
Vivere.... e Sorridere dei guai
cos come non hai fatto mai
e poi pensare che domani sar sempre
meglio
Oggi Non Ho Tempo
Oggi Voglio Stare Spento!
Vivere!
e sperare di star meglio
Vivere
e non essere mai contento
Vivere
come stare sempre al vento
Vivere!...... Come Ridere!!!
Vivere!
anche se sei morto dentro
Vivere!
e devi essere sempre contento!
Vivere!
come un comandamento
Vivere..... o Sopravvivere....
senza perdersi d'animo mai
e combattere e lottare contro tutto,
contro!.....
Oggi Non Ho Tempo
Oggi Voglio Stare Spento!
Vivere (Vivere)
e sperare di star meglio
Vivere (Vivere)
e non essere mai contento
Vivere (Vivere)
e restare sempre al vento a
Vivere..... e sorridere dei guai
proprio come non hai fatto mai
e pensare che domani sar sempre
meglio!!!!!

Soul Of Heaven
Had we a soul to contrive a blessed nature
The essence of our spirit resides in the bed of dreams.
Natures are compact with age, souls keep,
But both the walking and talking of our spirit is the spine.
Had we a soul to connive the world would be in oblivion,
Opening resorts blessed with reports of you.
Had the realm of heaven opened its gates to
Us who are fountain, we would surely perish in pleasure.
The rivers so functional with water
Happen to be excellent and brilliant
As their course is to heavenly splendour.

Patriot
And the rivers shall open for the righteous...
And the rivers shall open for the righteous...
And the rivers shall open for the righteous someday...
I was walking with my brother,
And he wondered, oh how I am.
Said what I believe in my soul
Ain't what I see with my eyes,
And there's no turning back this time.
I am a patriot, and I love my country,
Because my country is all I know.
Wanna be with my family,
People who understand me.
I got no place else to go.
I was walking with my girlfriend.
She looked so fine, I said
"Baby, what's on your mind?"
Said I want to run like the lions
Released from their cages...
Released from the rages
Burning in my soul tonight.
I am a patriot, and I love my country,
Because my country is all I know.
And I ain't no communist,
And I ain't no socialist,
And I ain't no capitalist,
And I ain't no imperialist,
And I ain't no democrat,
Sure ain't no republican either,
I only know one party,
And that is freedom.
I am...I am...I am...
I am a patriot, and I love my country,
Because my country is all I know.
And the rivers shall open for the righteous,
And the rivers shall open for the righteous,
And the rivers shall open for the righteous someday...
Someday...someday

It might be you for M lady Tara
A silver snake the river ran
deep and slow beneath the moon
It knew as only rivers can
the time was coming very soon.
When some lone traveller must pay
the dues it was entitled to.
Some reveller who’s on his way
after he’s had a drink or two.
The river chooses carefully
the one who’ll be the sacrifice.
The victim will die quietly
his ordeal over in a trice.
Each year the river takes its toll
a man or woman who’s full grown.
Releases their immortal soul
from all the sorrows they have known.
The locals know that this is true
and treat the legend with respect.
They know that when the fee falls due
the quiet river will select.
Somebody who will foot the bill.
Somebody who does not expect
this quiet water way to kill.
Though with their death they will protect
other travellers who cross.
The river is quite satisfied
with one who did not get across.
This sacrifice has mollified
the ancient hoary river horse
The Kelpie who controls the flow
of this deep river in its course.
But modern men don’t want to know.
Attribute deaths to accident
investigate to find a cause
for every single incident.
They disregard the River Horse.
Mere superstition so they say
and disbelieve the old wives tales.
But still the Kelpie has his way
one death per year he never fails.
Nobody see, nobody hears
there are no witnesses at all.
When the River horse appears
as he collects his yearly toll.
It has been so since days of yore
the records show with clarity.
One death per year and never more.
The river does not change its fee.
So should you choose to holiday
in Scotland you had best beware
The river valley of the Tay.
Unless of course you do not care
to listen to the tale I tell
and just dismiss it out of hand.
I speak of that which I know well
but I advise I can’t command.
You have the choice do as you will
take heed or not just as you choose.
You don’t believe that rivers kill
so bet your life its your to lose.
I am local bred and born
and I have seen my threescore years.
You may regard my tale with scorn
until the river horse appears.
You will believe than far too late
that Kelpies can and do exist
That’s why the legends still persist.
