Feeling Us
Would I want a sense so brightly commented?
Inside is the shore of my country an actuality?
The whole sensible way of worship descends
From the clouds so bold, where water words itself.
A special laughter is hung on the ground,
One favour works more than one.
The dark weather is a frightful affair,
Two monuments are better than one.
My books describe and narrate the old stories
So worked upon by the scholars of late.
Comments are exactly in favour of those in union,
A feeling of greatness is upon us if we desire.

Note to those soliciting reviews.
I find it a rather distasteful act to spam
(for lack of a better word)
members of this site with requests
for comments and reviews
without first introducing yourself and at least posting a comment prior to making a request for comments and votes.
I have been too kind and too lenient in the past,
believing in your promises to return the favour
only to end up waiting for something that will probably never arrive.
Hence, heretofore, please be so kind to give what you so desperately petition for me to do -
post comments/reviews on my works FIRST
and only then and thereafter ask me to return the favour.
That is how it works.
Otherwise your requests will fall on deaf ears and be reported as spam.
Thank you for your attentive consideration.

An opinion is forming that those who perpetrate this discourteous

It is a shameful thing to do and should be curtailed.

Shinin Brightly
Words and music by bob seger
Well, its shinin brightly
Its lookin pretty right
From the early morning
Till real real late at night
Its lookinpretty good today
The dark clouds are rollin away
Oh and its shinin brightly
And I think its gonna be okay
Well, its startin to feet good again
You and me
Startinto feel real good lady
Just the way it used to be
Futures lookin good at last
Rough times are all in the post
Oh and its shinin brightly
And I think its gonna last
I think its gonna last
Oh yeah
Well, its shinin brightly
I dont think theres too much doubt
This time baby
I think we got it all worked out
Lookin pretty good today
The dark clouds are rollin away
And its shinin brightly
I think were on our way
Its a nice change
Feeling pretty good at last
Rough times are all in the post
Oh, and its shinin brightly
I think its gonna last
Oh, its gonna be okay

What A Feeling
Nows the time when this will turn to fruit
All the poppies gonna push up through
And I can see the ground below
The places that I know, disappearing
And I can see the winter fade
I dont feel so afraid its clearing
Oh, what a feeling
Oh, what a feeling
Oh, what a feeling
Life is only half way in our hands
Years have passed while I was making plans
And I could never find the words
I always felt absurd, and always outside
But now I know I shouldnt care
Theres a song already there
Waiting inside
Oh, what a feeling
Oh, what a feeling
Oh, what a feeling
And I can feel the crock unwind
The parts of me I tied are running
And all the birds are in my head
The laughter that was dead is coming
Oh, what a feeling
Oh, what a feeling
Oh, what a feeling
The laughter that was dead is coming
Oh, what a feeling
The laughter that was dead is coming

Do me a favour, bury me
If there is a timeframe for pain
if there is an expiration date for love
an expiration date for everything in life
I just wonder who decides the duration
are we protagonists or bit players?
Take this childish forever and give it a border
let it to fend for itself
this ridiculous feeling deserves your mockery
and when you'll have finished with it
do me a favour, bury me
Yesterday my son built Lego planes
the ultimate joy was to destroy them
that smashing reminded me of my mess
what a awkward image
well, I will cut my hair one day or another
Take this shame and wreak havoc on it
cover all with fresh flowers
this musty smell is unbreathable
and when you'll have finished with it
do me a favour, bury me
Anyway I guess I'm a little bit obsessed
and obsession is not healthy at all
but who can stop this necessity to know?
I have to get the back of the well
I will taste its water to see if it is drinkable or not
Take these sorrows and spit their poison out
I don't want to infect your soul
put a tight bandage on each wound
and when you'll have finished with them
do me a favour, bury me

Marilyn, Jim And Kim
MARILYN, JIM AND KIM
Working at Barnes & Noble in City Place,
books, c.d.’s and gifts filled the space.
I was a bookseller and liked books a lot,
I helped customers find books, I gave it my best shot.
I worked with Jennine, who sold books like you never seen.
My managers were Marilyn, Merry and Mariam Volk, I never complained to them or bulked.
I kept busy putting books away, I loved to watch kids in the kid section play.
Kim is married and has another child, she helped me get my books in the store for a while.
I worked with Luz Cruz, her name rhymes with Blue’s Clues.
She is a really great bookseller, she works there till this day,
she always greets you with a smile and has a kind thing to say.
Only Luz is the last employee left from my crew,
unless Kao is still there working very hard too.
Page who helped me do readings with stories of make believe,
she went to Fort Lauderdale, while Jim in receiving went to Boynton Beach.
Brave, the manager at Boynton Beach at the time,
short listed my book “Sarah’s Special Birthday” from online.
Now it was fun experience while I was there, happy memories I can share.

Malaya and Juan please...
Why fall out on something
Which has taken drops of Lethe,
Yet everyone has his own
Perception observe things,
Specially poets,
They should refrain from slandering one another,
Malaya and Juan two genius,
Both have different surface of knowledge,
Both could perceive the two aspects,
Favour and Opposition,
Which are insignificant without each other,
In my view
Let one,
Whatsoever one wishes,
Oppose or favour.
My friends,
Not to speak of wordly people,
There are many
Who oppose even God
Likewise there are many who favour Him,
But He is not least affected.
So let's come close
As much as we can,
For the life is too short,
And the task is too great.

We the poet
We the poet hit straight
Our words our actions are straight
Our body our mind our soul being straight.
We the poet welcome all animate inanimate
We worship nature we worship humanity
Our attitude our approach being straight.
We are truthful we are peaceloving
We are straight in ideology
We are not here to favour anybody
We are being always in the side of light.

And I need to get her out on the floor
So get up on to your feet
By breakin you off a drink
cause you know what I came here for..
[chorus]
Dj can you play it as a favour for me
You know the joint that she shortys keep talkin about
Dj can you play it as a favour for me
You know the joint that makes em get down, get down
Dj can you play it as a favour for me
You know the joint that she shortys keep talkin about
Dj can you play it as a favour for me
You know the joint that makes em get down, get down

Rockin, rockin
Hip hop with rock n roll
Mix it with a lil rhythm and soul
And you know that well be good to go
Uh huh

So dj make the beat drop
You better raise up your glass
And start shakin yo (ahh)
cause the party aint about to stop
[chorus]
Ima put another dime up in the jukebox
Let the music play all night long
Giving you a taste of southern comfort
Wraped up in a love song
Record man can we do it again?
Press rewind before the joint ends
cause Im about to pull a round up of seats
And I wont be ........... stand the heat
Ohhhhh

Burnin up, burnin up
The dance floors burnin up
Burnin up, burnin up
The joints like burnin up
Burnin up, burnin up
The dance floors burnin up
Burnin up, burnin up
The joints like burnin up
[chorus]

Measure not God's love and favour by your own feeling. The sun shines as clearly in the darkest day as it does in the brightest. The difference is not in the sun, but in some clouds which hinder the manifestation of the light thereof.

Do Yourself A Favor
Isolated junk yard
Letting out the garbage
Eating through the core of life
Sweet fragrance irritates
In a state room death awaits
Persecute your own self-pride
Suffocate the new high
Ride the thorny mule that cries
Dig your grave and step right in
Like a judas pay the price
30 pieces for a ride
Heres the fire take a chew
Do yourself a favour
Educate your mind
Get yourself together
Hey there aint much time
Do yourself a favour
Educate your mind
Get yourself together
Hey there aint much time
Shredded know-how give away
Species of the human race
Those funky winds of ups and downs
Hall of grit is known too well
Heaven still is your hell
Poison slowly slowly drowns
Let the devil step right in
Lucifers your only friend
Aint a soul gon pity you
Hurdly over time to death
With open arms it waits I bet
Dont you wish you could reach ground?
Do yourself a favour
Educate your mind
Get yourself together
Hey there aint much time
Do yourself a favour
Educate your mind
Get yourself together
Hey there aint much time

Being good is difficult.
To favour one means to disfavour someone.
To favour none will leave you an orphan.
To favouri everyone means pleasing none.

Thats The Way
Hold on tight (hold on tight),
We move so right (feels so right),
Ill make you feel so alive
Thats the way we do it, move your body to it
Come on get on it now it feels so right
No I admit to being a dreamer
But baby that aint a crime (oh yeah)
Ive found a place that I can escape
And all of my dreams (oh yeah) come to life (come on)
I feel a sense of magic in the air tonight
A little something special down inside
Such a feeling words cant describe
Were going on a journey to paradise
Chorus:
Thats the way we kick it, take it to the limit
Now were just starting baby hold on tight
Thats the way we do it, move your body to it
Come on get on it now it feels so right
Thats the way we kick it, take it to the limit
Come on get on it now it feels so right
It doesnt matter where you are - paris, rome, tokyo - the feelings
Gonna get ya
Let your imagination take you there
Gonna do all the things that no one else would dare
I feel a sense of magic in the air tonight
A little something special down inside
Such a feeling words cant describe
Were going on a journey to paradise
Chorus
Hey, hey, hey, yo feels so right
Ive got everything you need and more
Baby you are the one, everything Ive been waiting for
The flavour, to savour, do you hear what I say?
Thats the way - just kick it
Hold on tight (hold on tight), we move so right (it feels so right)
Ill make you feel so alive (thats the way - kick it)!
Thats the way we kick it, take it to the limit
Now were just starting baby hold on tight (hold on tight)
Thats the way we do it, move your body to it
Come on get on it now it feels so right (feels so right)
Thats the way we kick it, take it to the limit
Now were just starting baby hold on tight (hold on tight)
Thats the way we do it, move your body to it
Move your body to it (move your body)
Come on get on it now, it feels so right (feels so right)
Thats the way we kick it, take it to the limit
Thats the way we kick it.

Water Into Words
Like water they find their way to ground.
So I have names to give, stories to tell
words to whisper, words to sing,
words of reason and madness.
Some defy gravity, others carry the weight.
At times my words stumble over unfamiliar ground,
stutter, tie my tongue.
Silence gains the upper hand.
While the quiet gathers momentum
I close my eyes
and wait for the water to rise.

Save Your Love, For Paris And Me!
My darling,
I love you so,
Do me a favour,
Don't let me go!
My love,
I want you so,
Do me a favour,
Don't let time go!
My sweetheart,
My feelings are so real,
Let's make a deal,
One maybe,
Save your love,
For Paris and me!
Do you agree?

Water On The Ground
By eric clapton
Water on the ground, cloud on the sun,
Moon on the rise and the wind on the run.
But you know its only water,
Water on the ground.
Snow is falling, weather is cold.
Maybe Im just getting old.
And I think its only water,
Water on the ground.
Back to the rivers, back to the sea,
Keeps on running, just like me.
But you know its only water,
Water on the ground.

Laughter in my Womb
As I touch my tummy so tenderly, I escape
He placed his hand on mine
Asked I blush as mummy,
so perfectly out I space
She placed her hand on his
And I hear laughter from inside my ears
And I sense these thrills right down my veins
And I feel my rains coming
I am the season of the mud
I am a new earth
And I hear laughter from inside my mind
And I sense this strength all over my muscles
And I feel my arteries working
I transform
I am the reason of the laughter
I am the hearth
I am the season of the fire
red soil and water
my womb is an oven
and it’s laughing
As I touch this belly in such a marvel, I break
He placed his finger on my tear
Collapsed I and numb, but sovereign, again I brick
She placed his salty finger on her lips
And I throw laughter from inside my guts
And I sense this mighty earthquake on my bones
And I feel my rains coming
I am the season of the mud
I am the last earth
And I hear laughter from inside my mind
And I sense this strength all over my muscles
And I feel my arteries working
I transcend
I am the reason of the laughter I am the hearth
I am the season of the fire
red soil and water
my womb is an oven
and its holy laughter is boiling to surface.

To Sophronia.
Sophronia, all the World agree,
The Soul of Friendship dwells in Thee:
Let Envy other Gifts dispute,
Since here the Fury must be mute.
Without one vain, one venal View,
The Muse inscribes these Lines to you.
Tho' I thy Favour shall not share,
Thy Worth I'm destin'd to revere;
And in Sophronia must commend
The firm, disinterested Friend:
To Virtue I this Homage pay,
Rewarded, tho' you slight the Lay.
Those who thy Favour once obtain,
Need not sollicit thee again;
Nor ever at Neglect repine:
Their Wishes and their Cares are thine:
Nor at the Grave thy Friendship ends;
But to Posterity descends.
Hail, sacred Friendship! seldom found,
Tho' sought for all the World around:
Say, Blessing of the peaceful Cell!
How cam'st thou in a Court to dwell?

The Romance Of A Book
Reading a book, you're hit by romance,
No matter the subject matter,
You can read and read,
And every book is different,
Some stories are more pleasant than others,
While some are funny, but most are serious,
For the romance of a book,
Is in everyone's heart,
No matter their age or height,
Whether male or female:
It is all relative and I devour,
Each and every book,
I can read the classics,
Or even a heart-warming romance,
I just get through so many books,
I love every storyline,
Not so much the gory parts,
But the cleverness of the fictional detectives,
And those rock stars that roam the stage,
For a book is something that will never age,
No matter how many years on the shelf,
And stories can be shared with everyone else,
Yet everyone has their own views,
And books can be lifting when they're feeling blue,
For people have been reading fiction for centuries,
But, of course, not all books are fictional:
There're the historical books, interesting,
Even if a reader is just passing through,
And we can all learn something from the history books,
And let's not forget the autobiographies:
Many a man and woman fascinating,
Having lead unique lives and having had special loves,
And there is a romance to these people,
For they walked the same earth as everyone else,
Yet brought something strange and special to the world,
Like a scientist making a new discovery,
Or a rock star penning a hit song,
And all these things are which make books belong,
I haven't met anyone yet who finds books boring,
Because books are not boring: they are fascinating,
Unique, special, strange, romantic and enjoyable,
And every reader's dream: like hitting 'play' on a record,
For this is the romance of a book.
