Diagonal Line
A diagonal line separates us when the time comes,
We pass the boundary of our science museums.

Tried To Be True
From baby to best with no second test
These little storms destroy you
Here is the fame they promised to give you
Taking the place of my hand now
Well did you try to be true
What separates me from you now
What separates me from you
Did you borrow the soul
The soul that you sell now
What does your conscience tell you
Where are the demons
Of your desires
Why does my love destroy you
I said I tried to be true
What separates me from you now
(what separates me from you now)
I said I tried, tried to be true
What separates me from you now
(what separates me from you now)
What separates me from you
(what separates me from you now)
I think its you now
Tell me where is the fame
Where is the fortune
Where is the world that denies you
Who is to blame
When my heart finally forfeits
To a road that will only misguide you
Well did we try to be true
What separates me from you now
(what separates me from you now)
Oh did we try, try to be true
(what separates me from you now)
(what separates me from you now)
It separates me from you now
(what separates me from you now)
It separates me from you
(what separates me from you now)
Its you
Baby
Yeah I bought my love a hunger
(I tried, tried to be true)
More precious than a stone
(I tried, tried to be true)
(where is the world that denies you)
All these fatal flowers
(I tried, tried to be true)
(where is the world that denies you)
Did I misguide you?
(tried to be true)

Breaking Boundaries
Cheers of the same glass
Here we live in togetherness
In a classy wine glass or just a table cup
But, still in layers, we never mixed up
As oil and water forever split up
A line of separation
Draw boundary between us
Touch each other surfaces but never hold phases
Never, upside cross the line to reach down
While, impossible is the line, false mind?
Forever isolating us, you and I
As you an oil and me, water
Undelivered lavender fumed words by you
Stayed there without pass the unbreakable line
Never, i know, cant have your adored scent in me
As there is a boundary, a thin door, locked for us
Tried, yes we tried, again and again
Essence of crimson red heart color
Dropped in our shared glass
Tried to be one by persuading our eyes
Hiding the differences of our layers
Again it can't, dissolved in me, unstained you
We stay as two layers of colors and perfume
In a traditional destiny of oil and water
Together we live, but by layers we always be
In a crystal glass or in that old jar
Close enough we are but a line make it far
Here we still, but our life never be one
Because of this boundary, nothing is easy
Expanding our hearts, as yours surfaced on mine
Exchange understanding, transferred between us
Emulsify the boundary, dissolving separator line
Resolving mind, for heart to heart bind
Holding together after found a place to fit
Swirling our souls, breaking all boundaries
As whole applied to share a fumes of lavender
Be in the bliss of red heart, crimson color
The rule of oil and water now is gone
For a mixture of love
Bound heart to heart
Understanding, breaks boundaries
Unison of different classes
Cheer in the same glass
Togetherness, we share life,
Finally, be as one
Just one
A class in a glass
Cheers! !

The White Globe
Bring me a world-map,
I'll rub out the boundary-line
between each two countries -
And see: there is one world, one country!
A world where each one of us
Will be a universal citizen,
A world where none will say-
This is mine, that is yours.
A world where 'I' will be replaced by 'we',
No more I, you or he but only us,
A world where No one will be under anyone,
And all will call one another brother.
A world where there'll be but one religion,
And that is of 'Humanity'
A world where there'll be but one sect,
And that is of 'Humans'.
Bring me a world-map,
I'll rub out the boundary-line
between each two countries -
And see: there is one world, one country!

On the Boundary
I Love the ancient boundary-fence,
That mouldering chock-and-log.
When I go ride the boundary
I let the old horse jog
And take his pleasure in and out
Where the sandalwood grows dense,
And tender pines clasp hands across
The log that tops the fence.
’Tis pleasant on the boundary-fence,
These sultry summer days;
A mile away, outside the scrub,
The plain is all ablaze,
The sheep are panting on the camps,
The heat is so intense;
But here the shade is cool and sweet
Along the boundary-fence.
I love to loaf along the fence,
So does my collie dog,
He often finds a spotted cat
Hid in a hollow log;
He’s very near as old as I
And ought to have more sense,
I’ve hammered him so many times
Along the boundary-fence.
My mother says that boundary fence
Must surely be bewitched;
The old man says that through that fence
The neighbours are enriched;
It’s always down, and through the gaps
Our stock all get them hence,
I takes me half my time to watch
The doings of that fence.
But should you seek the reason
You won’t travel very far,
’Tis there a mile away among
The murmuring Belar:
The Jones’s block joins on to ours,
And so, in consequence,
It’s part of Polly’s work to ride
Their side the boundary-fence.

The Keepers of Sound
The keepers of sound
Pass through a waterfall
Pass through silence, only to break it
Keep motions and movements connected
In the circle of life
The keepers of sound
Pass through solid walls
Pass through stillness, only to break it
Soothe us to sleep
The keepers of sound
Pass through worlds only they can see
The transformation
From human to keeper
Is one that takes patience,
Kindness, and honesty
That transformation
Takes strength,
Friendliness and love
To pass through the wall
That separates humans and keepers
You have to have a light heart
And be whole

I Conquer The World With Words
I conquer the world with words,
conquer the mother tongue,
verbs, nouns, syntax.
I sweep away the beginning of things
and with a new language
that has the music of water the message of fire
I light the coming age
and stop time in your eyes
and wipe away the line
that separates
time from this single moment.

The Last Line
The last line
By: keith sykes
1977
Given my life for songs that I sing
Matter of fact, Ive given everything
Time has come to not make a sound
Time has come to lay my burdens down
Whoa oh oh (woe oh woe oh woe oh)
Whoa oh (woe oh woe oh woe oh)
Its come from behind
Now is the time
For the last line (last line)
Managed to keep some friends on my side
To live through the times of the rumors and lies
Now its time to rest my heart
Let some other innocent fool take my part
Whoa oh oh (woe oh woe oh woe oh)
Whoa oh (woe oh woe oh woe oh)
Its come from behind
Now is the time
For the last line (last line)
( saxophone solo)
Whoa oh oh oh (woe oh woe oh woe oh)
Whoa oh (woe oh woe oh woe oh)
Its come from behind
Now its the time
For the last line (last line)
So dont pay me no mind, Im walkin away
Youll see me again on some other day
Youll see me again, Ill be ready to go
And pour out my songs with my heart and my soul
Whoa oh oh (woe oh woe oh woe oh)
Whoa oh (woe oh woe oh woe oh)
Its come from behind
Now is the time
For the last line (last line)
Yes its come from behind
Now is the time
For the last line (last line)
Ah the last line (last line)

God's Kingdom
PART 1
[INSPIRED BY LEO TOLSTOY]
More than a hundred years gone
since a thought by this great man
to put an end to man's kingdom
to be a part of god's kingdom
A kingdom which need not bind
bind itself to a boundary
a kingdom which need not safeguard
guarding men need not war over a boundary
a nation without a boundary
a nation which would'nt war for a boundary
would'nt be a man's kingdom
yes...truely a god's kingdom
how do you curb atrocities without a war
India did it fifty years back without a war
Mahatma's ahimsa was an offshoot of Tolstoy's passive resistance
Tolstoy was Gandhi's inspiration

Sonnet- Separation
When you are born, you separate from womb;
Separate from world to get to the tomb!
Some separations come on at each stage;
Quite natural ’tis and that’s the great message.
From married daughter, you must separate;
If your son leaves too, never mind the date;
If leader dies, can you then reinstate?
Separations come to all and that’s fate!
The flower separates from parent plant;
Your prayer too separates when you chant;
Soul separates from its earthly body,
In order to attain Eternity.
So, Separations are a phase of life,
Just as you divorce from your ‘belov’d wife’!

How Many Days?
How many days must pass me by
before I can see your face?
I count them all one by one
and each and every space
that separates my time with you
and makes me wonder if we're through?
Foolish thinking takes right over
and tears at the heart of me.
Need to stop these darkened thoughts
for all I need to see
is a glimpse of your face
and that tempting smile
to erase all these hours
and hundreds of miles
to know how wrong I am.
For you told me so
not too long ago.
But this separation brings me
desperation and I just can't let it go.
How many days must pass me by
before I can see your face?
Each hour feels like a lifetime to me,
a lifetime I can't erase.
