Apparel

Apparel admired, adapting to new phases
Advertised by the papers and papas,
We administer appointments of the bulbs
And the lamps of virtue, bubbles burst!

Confront the lamp of the wishful type,
Crawl and seize butter to burn on the tongue;
Engines finance the meeting of minds,
As films are experiences of an expert.

Families are fine, eyes are like final events,
Eggs will save me from fairies,
Fangs are uplifted as they are thrown from the mouth
To enter our lungs and kidney somehow.

Educate us as we speak, like teachers of the mist,
Fail us when we are happy like jewels,
Joining judgements so kicking and jumping,
Into a circle of joys that blend and mix.

Words Which Rails

Tell the stories to the ones, in fairies they do believe, sound to the fallen swan - Sword your tongue, sheath your mouth, lips blackend with blisters - The rain will distort to a drought, before the final flood - The clouds will circle, gathering the forces of nature - Never to be the chain, bound to exotic, as we walk as creatures - Words which rails to the end of a tail, will be the storm - Versa to the vice of the forbidden gale, will burn peace, into the flames of the begining

catch Them Young' I Say..

I will blend two minds and will shout aloud
To the world, ' Here is the final human mind'.
I will infuse two hundred passions in to it and will sing aloud
To the throngs, 'Here is a mind that sans no glory heard ever'.
I will invent two million ordinary mortals and will speak
To their hearts, ' Here is your role model to frame a mind still'.

I search for the minds to be blended
And many minds flash before my eyes.
I like none - 'All are too narrow', I tell.
I search for the minds once again
And many more minds flash by, none appealing.
An agony strikes me, 'Where are those great minds? '

A millenium passes,
In the drought of mothers who give birth to none great
My blending dreams remain as a mirage
And I begin to write an elegy on the death of minds.
In the inner self of my mind that can never be blended with any other
A nightmare roams with all its scaring images.

I will blend two minds one day but I will not tell about it.
Or else I will tell someone to find them and catch them.
' Catch them young', I will tell him.

Grey

You always say
That your life's been thrown away
That's why you turn to a man upstairs
And pray he'll save you everyday

Don't come around no more
Save your soul in the eyes of the lord
Don't come around no more
Save your soul in the eyes of the lord

Long years go by
As you still sit to wonder why
Your voice can't scream out loud
And your mind's been trapped inside

Don't come around no more
Save your soul in the eyes of the lord
Don't come around no more
Save your soul in the eyes of the lord

Burn yourself down
Bring yourself down
Burn yourself down
Bring yourself down

You know I'm drowning in myself
Drowning in myself
You know I'm drowning in myself

Don't come around no more
Save your soul in the eyes of the lord
Don't come around no more
Save your soul in the eyes of the lord
Don't come around no more
Save your soul in the eyes of the lord
Don't come around no more
Save your soul in the eyes of the lord

Burn yourself down
Bring yourself down
Burn yourself down
Bring yourself down

Benediction

speak to me as if you knew me...
there are no walls, no distant shores.
the stones on the path will not
hurt your bare feet....
the fire will not burn your hands.
eyes fly like crows across distance,
be it across the room,
or across the world...
and pages are written
with the pens of angels,
to be thrown into the wind.
my heart cries for deliverance...
your tongue rests against my arm....
seize the moment, for there is no tomorrow,
the world waits in benediction!

The Auld Wife

PART I

The auld wife sat at her ivied door,
(Butter and eggs and a pound of cheese)
A thing she had frequently done before;
And her spectacles lay on her apron’d knees.

The piper he pip’d on the hill-top high,
(Butter and eggs and a pound of cheese)
Till the cow said, “I die,” and the goose asked “Why?”
And the dog said nothing, but search’d for fleas.

The farmer he strode through the square farmyard;
(Butter and eggs and a pound of cheese)
His last brew of ale was a trifle hard,
The connection of which with the plot one sees.

The farmer’s daughter hath frank blue eyes;
(Butter and eggs and a pound of cheese)
She hears the rooks caw in the windy skies,
As she sits at her lattice and shells her peas.

The farmer’s daughter hath ripe red lips;
(Butter and eggs and a pound of cheese)
If you try to approach her away she skips
Over tables and chairs with apparent ease.

The farmer’s daughter hath soft brown hair;
(Butter and eggs and a pound of cheese)
And I met with a ballad, I can’t say where,
Which wholly consisted of lines like these.

PART II

She sat with her hands ’neath her dimpled cheeks,
(Butter and eggs and a pound of cheese)
And spake not a word. While a lady speaks
There is hope, but she did n’t even sneeze.

She sat with her hands ’neath her crimson cheeks;
(Butter and eggs and a pound of cheese)
She gave up mending her father’s breeks,
And let the cat roll in her best chemise.

She sat with her hands ’neath her burning cheeks,
(Butter and eggs and a pound of cheese)
And gaz’d at the piper for thirteen weeks;
Then she follow’d him out o’er the misty leas.

Her sheep follow’d her, as their tails did them,
(Butter and eggs and a pound of cheese)
And this song is consider’d a perfect gem;
And as to the meaning, it ’s what you please.

There were a lot of people dreaming about making films, and they would finance maybe 6 films a year. Because they were funded by the government, the films sort-of had to deal with serious social issues - and, as a result, nobody went to see those films.

Last Answers

I wrote a poem on the mist
And a woman asked me what I meant by it.
I had thought till then only of the beauty of the mist,
how pearl and gray of it mix and reel,
And change the drab shanties with lighted lamps at evening
into points of mystery quivering with color.

I answered:
The whole world was mist once long ago and some day
it will all go back to mist,
Our skulls and lungs are more water than bone and tissue
And all poets love dust and mist because all the last answers
Go running back to dust and mist.

Ode to Teachers

Ode to Teachers

Teachers are not just people whose job is to teach
Teachers are not just people who grade our papers or stand at the front of the classroom
Teachers are not just people who give us homework
No!
Teachers are part of our life
Never to be forgotten
Teachers are like steps that help us
Help us make it to the top
To be a greater person
To exceed expectations
They prepare us for great outside world
With its stone cold heart
Where if we trip and fall on our face
It will laugh at us
But because of our teachers
Our wonderful teachers
We remember to get back up

Fury

for mama

remember this.
she is standing by
the furnace.
the coals
glisten like rubies.
her hand is crying.
her hand is clutching
a sheaf of papers.
poems.
she gives them up.
they burn
jewels into jewels.
her eyes are animals.
each hank of her hair
is a serpent's obedient
wife.
she will never recover.
remember. there is nothing
you will not bear
for this woman's sake.

The Ship Of Hearts

what is the ship of hearts you ask me!
it is a ship where the hearts roam free.

where all the hearts gather to tell what's the matter.
to speak of loves lost and loves found
and of loves on the rebound.

they will have their conferences of each heart
and how it got its start.
each will speak of what they've gone through
and how to stop it from happening to you.

each heart will have a tale, and how it did fail.
every heart had suffered pain
and the experiences that they had gained.

they will talk of how they gave their heart
and it was torn apart.
so now they gather on this ship
and try to save the hearts thats ripped.

ripped and torn and thrown to the side
and how 'out of this hole, they did climb'.
for no matter what they go through
there will always be someone to
fall in love with you.

so these hearts gather their strength
and learn to fight till the very end.
and on this ship, they now gather as one
and with all this power combined
these tattered heart will all be fine.

(power to the heart of man)

Florence Nightingale

Perhaps it is not true to speak of God as a judge at all, or of his judgements. There does not seem to be really any evidence that His worlds are places of trial but rather schools, places of training, or that He is a judge but rather a Teacher, a Trainer, not in the imperfect sense in which men are teachers, but in the sense of His contriving and adapting His whole universe for one purpose of training every intelligent being to be perfect. … I think God would not be the Almighty, the All-Wise, the All-Good, if he were the judge, in the sense that the evangelical and Roman Catholic Christians impute judgement to him. … Our business is, I think, to understand, not to judge. What He does is, as far as we know, to rule by law down to the most infinitesimally small portion of His universe, not to judge.

Center Stage

Laughing in a crown of jewels
Numbness from a scepters wound
Toss and turn, I spin and learn
Catch yourself before you burn
A jokers dance before the king
Jangling beads, and silver rings
Close your eyes and bare the sound
Jumping up - falling down
Falling, falling, falling, falling down
Look yourself in the eye before you drown
Royal rebels discover you
Trust? you turn there is no truth
And circle, circle, why are you scared
Why a smile instead of tears
Im gulping smoke I fade away
Figures floating down to lay
I meet the joker and the thief
The king and queen but - no relief
The king is in the counting house,
(falling, falling, falling, falling down)
Counting all his money
(look yourself in the eye before you drown)
The queen is in her parlor
(falling, falling, falling, falling down)
Eating bread and honey
(look yourself in the eye before you drown)
I cross myself before I die
And the leaping man, he asks me, why?
Well your rhythm is off I reply
Now you must dance the dance
That you imply!
Your actions will follow you full circle round
Your actions will follow you full circle round
Your actions will follow you full circle round
Your actions will follow you full circle round
Your actions will follow you full circle round
Your actions will follow you full circle round
Your actions will follow you full circle round
Your actions will follow you full circle round
The higher the leap, I said
The harder the ground!

Wishful Heart

Wishful Heart
Wishful Heart
How much pain can you endure?
Hurt you til there's nothing left.. Love Again?
Are you sure?
All the times you stay hopeful to it all
You know very well in the end you always fall
Wishful Heart
Wishful Heart
Are you a fool?
Love the one who will never love you
Broke into a million pieces
some stolen along the way
you care too much
Though they abuse
Still you stay; Pretend covers your bruises
Wishful Heart
Wishful Heart
Where do I begin?
Want to mend you
But you wont give in
afraid of what love just may do
you close your eyes
& pray to god
that this is true.
Wishful Heart
Wishful Heart
Oh I love you so
Not enough to heal your scars
but enough to sew your wounds
I promise, one day you'll have a new start.

Encephalitis

Shutter to think of truth
Slivers of faith and glass
Ashes land on my tongue
This land is not the last

Stutter and utter words
These that thine thou wouldst save
Make fun of having fun
When we are all afraid

Here in my coma eye
Better to burn the truth
Ashes land on my lungs
The sweet sickly smell of truth

Drown and still air comes in
Poison dipped poison skin
Heroin in her mouth
Eyes like the back of south

Psion and I am sane
Your words still haunt my name
But I am safer now
I am too weird to bow

Strange Ways

Many people have strange way of meeting
With heavy face and deep frown, offer greetings
Good at heart but fail to show happiness
Forced try to come out of isolation and loneliness

Never mind meeting less people but share their views
Let them feel you are sympathizer among few
You are not here to gain their sympathy
But to share worries, agony and apathy

Life is worth only when you are involved in it
Light too may be seen only when lamp is lit
Feelings are also felt only when there is little gesture
Respect is also when only when you have fix tenure

You can earn fame only after hard work or dedication
Lukewarm response from others is also good indication
No one simply acknowledges your contribution
It is only for your hard efforts in distribution

'Live and let others live' should form the basis
It may lead to peaceful existence and avoid crisis
You need not speak yourself as work may reveal
Everything is open to judgment when nothing is to conceal

It is considered as achievement and good art of living
Fine blend of relation developed with and neat weaving
That is how one may comes to be known as very humble
His ideology may not need introduction with preamble

There is no big price tag for showing goodness
It must be seen as gift from God or holiness
Let inner strength find response with easy access
Life may be termed as worth while with grand success

Nothing may go wrong if one sincerely tries or attempt
There won't be immediate response or action prompt
Society or circle may recognize its real importance
It may have its own weight like any heavy substance

Many people go and opt for open confrontation
Use bitter words and enter controversy and altercation
They themselves mayn’t know what they are trying for?
Find no place to stand even at home or with neighbor

Is it not futile to try for worthless things?
Are we sure of attaining it for something?
Will it not cost dearly for our well being?
I shall prefer to be poor rather than being king

We are not here to behave as strangers
Sometimes we act like teenagers
Go for easy pick and quarrel
Simply accept wrong for real

Life itself is very strange with so many ups and down
Many may rot in streets and others may have crown
It is not important how and what you inherited?
But how you delivered and your work merited

When Words Fail

Where words fail
Eyes enter and avail
All chances to contact
Attract and fully act

What has flowed in between?
Pure sea of waves unseen
She whispers from distance
I seize it at once

When mind fails in anticipation
Eyes do hard to build relation
Only surrender with no more questions
Just down the head with yes indication

Lips close in to offer gratitude
With almost nonexistent attitude
Life and soul becomes one
To care for no one or none

Oh love, I believe
That makes me to relieve
You are for sure a challenge
I must bow with honor and manage

It is certainly a celebration
Full of intimate pulses with vibration
Whole body shivers
Silent opens tongue and utters

I wish no further wish
It must nicely finish
With your lip sinks on mine
Certainly a rare gesture to feel fine

It is you and you alone
Master of own destiny and queen
I am bit late on the scene
Yet it is celebration all over and seen

Literary Tongue

at first i like the hands
those huge hands to cover the whole of my cold body
and then i begin to like the fingers
those that crawl and make my body warm
those that fill the orifice of my emptiness
those that caress my hair
and travel from my nose to my mouth
to my neck to the last tip of my toes
and then i like the mouth too
with its tongue that speak about gentleness
and make me a little bit heated
and brave
and then i am finally stuck with the tongue
the surrogate part of of them all
it speaks
it licks
it travels from the tip of my hair to the tip of my toe
and then it stops
hides inside the walls of my teeth and gums
and stay in the house of my mouth
it also knows
when to stop and just be alone and silent

Happy Families

Have you got miss fortune?
Shes the daughter of rich parents,
All she does is cry.
One four-letter word is all she wants,
But you cant buy love,
So theres no supply.
Will you take young master charge?
The boy whos living well,
Beyond his fathers means.
See his mother kill herself with work,
To keep her dandy,
In the latest jeans.
(happy families.)
Happy families is a kids game.
Happy families is your main aim.
It starts out with a dealing in the middle of the night,
And ends up with a full house if you play your cards out right.
Mum says dad is cheating,
You should see the grown-ups fight,
For...
Happy families,
The game thats sure to please.
Have you got young master race?
The bigot son who, like his dad,
Is fueled with fear.
Not so much a son more of a stormtrooper,
To burn the books,
When dads not here.
Happy families is a kids game.
Happy families is your main aim.
You start out with your first cub and you think that lifes a song.
Youll end up with a wolfpack if you lay your cards out wrong.
Dad says mom is cheating,
You can see the children long,
For...
Happy families,
The game thats sure to please.
Have you got miss carriage? ,
Shes the girl who wants a baby,
That she cannot find.
Strange, the ones who want to win the race are,
Usually the ones,
Who fall behind.

I Believe In Fairies

THERE ARE FAIRIES AMONG US
LIGHT ON THEIR FEET, DANCING AROUND,
WITH LITTLE FLUTTERING GREEN WINGS
THEY LIFT UP OFF THE GROUND.

THEY TOUCH OUR SHOULDERS
AS THEY SPIN AND SWIRL ABOUT,
WEARING LITTLE GOLDEN SLIPPERS
THEY CIRCLE US I HAVE NO DOUBT.

I HAVE FELT THEIR DELICATE TOUCH
AS THEY WHISPERED SOFTLY IN MY EAR,
DON'T EVER STOP BELIEVING IN FAIRIES
I KNOW THEY ARE OFTEN QUITE NEAR.

HAVE YOU EVER SEEN A LIGHT MOVEMENT
HEARD A BREEZE STIR MAKING A SOFT SIGH,
I KNOW IT IS A LITTLE PRANCING FAIRY
AS SHE IS PASSING VERY CLOSE BY.

I BELIEVE IN THE MAGIC FAIRIES
FLOWERS PEDALS THEY SLEEP IN,
THEY TOUCH OUR LIVES DAILY
THEY VISIT ME AGAIN AND AGAIN.

THEY VISIT LITTLE CHILDREN WHILE THEY SLEEP
ALL THEY HAVE TO DO IS BELIEVE,
TO NOT HAVE A LITTLE FAIRY NEAR ME
I WOULD TRULY BE SAD AND GRIEVE.

ON A STROLL THROUGH THE GARDEN
WHILE THE DEW JEWELS ARE STILL THERE,
WATCH FOR THE LITTLE FAIRIES IN THEIR TINY CROWNS
TO NOT FRIGHTEN THEM - YOU MUST TAKE CARE.

Shut my Mouth

There are those whom wish
I would just shut my mouth.
For my words cut them to
the bone when I speak of
an abuse child. Or a person
drowning in the sea of his or
her own addiction. They real
wish I would shut my mouth when
I speak of equality for all. Also when
talk about suffrage one goes through
from AIDS, Cancer to Death. I done had my
words crumbled in thrown back in my face.
I have been given looks as if they want to shove
my words back down my throat until I choked on them.
But for all those who want me to shut my mouth I have
got three times as many who want me to speak.
So speak I will. As long as I got something to say I will speak.
And only when I don’t have anymore to say is when I will
Shut My Mouth.
