A Return To Clowning
Returning to the mist, a new clown moves,
Fading into the sun and its dreams all the way.
An actual act has been committed by this very same drunkard
Over the pastures of November and December.
To do with the new year, a new invention has occurred
To begin the joyous mountain of privilege.
New years are sensible affairs, of righteous news,
The very endeavours are betaken for the light of news.
Parade him not this clown who made this concoction,
Of weight and extreme importance.

Good News
Something to begin with
That's easy said than done
You'll see me rolling home
But I don't understand why
Still there's nothing at all
Time is on my side
But we mustn't let our disappointment show
But I will, and you will go on
All I need is some good news (some good news)
All I need is some good news (just some good news)
To put me on my feet (to put me on my feet)
To put me at my ease (at my ease)
All I need is some good news (all I need is some good news)
All I need is some good news (some good news)
To put me at my ease (to put me at my ease)
All I need is some good news
All I need is some good news (just gimme me some good news)
All I need is some good news (some good news)
To put me at my ease (to put me at my ease)
To put me on my feet (on my feet, on my feet)
All I need is some good news (all I need is some good news)
All I need is some good news (all I need is some good news)
All I need is some good news
All I need is some good news (all I need is good news)
To put me on my ease (to put me at my ease)
To put me on my feet (on my feet, on my feet)
All I need is some good news (good news)
All I need is some good news (some good news)
All I need is some good news (good news)
All I need is some good news

What is the use of reading the common news of the day, the tragic deaths and abuses of daily living, when for over half a lifetime we have known that they must have occurred just as they have occurred given the conditions that cause them? There is no light in it. It is trivial fill-gap. We know the plane will crash, the train be derailed. And we know why. No one cares, no one can care. We get the news and discount it, we are quite right in doing so. It is trivial. But the haunted news I get from some obscure patient's eyes is not trivial. It is profound.

December When You Turn Again
O! December,
When you turn again this year,
You bring along
The news of the city which I long for.
The city
Where galaxies glimmer of glowworms,
Where the spheres beam
With the colours of butterflies,
Where all-around is the aroma
Of faithfulness.
That one who touches it,
Either with glance, or with fingertips,
Became perfumed for a while.
O! December,
When you turn again this year,
You bring along
The news of the city which I long for,
The city where grains of sand are stars,
The rose and the nightingale,
The moon and the stars,
Are the metaphors of faithfulness,
Where the heart is an ocean,
And gets several banks,
Where the goddess of fortune
Glimmers in the close palms.
O! December,
Ask us not the plight of our city,
Here eyes are grimed
With the dust of caravan passed by,
Here love is like an iceberg,
And grows on the farms of sunlight,
Here when the dawn emerges,
The exhausted dreams of night
Are dumped and begin to thaw,
Here splinters of broken passion
Prick in the eyes, here we weave
Golden dreams by dipping
Lashes into the blood of hearts,
Then live and die
Amid those fascinations.
Though it is impossible to stitch
The tattered soul yet,
O! December do come and bring along,
The news of the city which I long for.

Laugh Clown Laugh
Laugh Clown laugh,
that's what they want me to do.
I guess I'm doing something right
because this Clown made you laugh too.
Laugh Clown laugh,
make everyone laugh real hard.
Besides, Who would it hurt?
Will anyone notice
how it has scarred?
Laugh Clown laugh,
but only for a while,
at least until you see
that the humor is in your denial.

The nice news came in the morning,
The sad news came in the afternoon!
And, the lovely news came in the evening to satisfy my muse;
However, all these occurred on the same day,

The Clown
Orbison/mcgill
I was a clown when I thought I had found
A love for me and only me but she laughed at the clown
Turned him down turned him down
I never frown ah, ah, ah, Im the clown
For it breaks my heart I play the part of a clown
Runnin round trouble bound Im the clown
I wander all around wondering if you ever cared
I go from place to place, I look from face to face
Hoping that you will be there
All over town the word is out its all around
That I love her still guess I always will Im the clown
Runnin round trouble bound Im the clown

Dancin Clown
Words and music by joni mitchell
No, you couldnt call jesse a babe in the woods
Hes just weak in self-defense
cause hes so thin skinned
He cant take a joke at his expense
Youre a push down window, says rowdy yates
I can run you up and down
Anytime I want
I can make you my dancin--
My dancin clown!
Youre my dancin clown
Dancin dancin
My dancin clown
Dancin
Youre my dancin clown
Dancin dancin dancin
My dancin clown
Rowdy yates is as bold as jove--
Hes all chide and snide and bluff--
Stuck in the romantic tradition
Of acting rough and tough
Youre always charging thru, says jesse
Nervous, lookin all around--
To see whos seein him bein a dancin
A dancin clown
Hes a dancin clown
Dancin dancin
A dancin clown
Dancin
Hes a dancin clown
Dancin dancin dancin
A dancin clown
Cherchez la femme
Whenever love comes around
Someones a dancin clown
Cherchez la femme
Whenever hearts start to pound
Someones a dancin clown
Down the street comes last-word suzie--
Shes high yellow--lookin top nice
You hear the swoosh of jungle blades
And the crackle of northern ice
Hot damn! says rowdy--lookin up
Yum! says jesse lookin down
How would you like to be her dancin
Her dancin clown?
Be her dancin clown
Dancin dancin
Her dancin clown
Dancin
Be her dancin clown
Dancin dancin dancin
Her dancin clown
Cherchez la femme
Whenever love comes to town
Someones a dancin clown
Cherchez la femme
Wherever hearts start to pound
Someones a dancin clown

Hard Hearted November
A cold grey mist…
Tiptoes aimlessly about
It's only companions
A few scudding clouds
That mill thru the sky
And wander without
And cast shadows
Upon farm fields and wilds
Tis the hard heart of November
A month as indecisive as mist
A month so incisive….bestowed
with the caprice of a witch
Which has by mistake
Or perhaps by misgiving
Allowed to endow us
The day of Thanksgiving
And once realized
That a mistake has been made
Takes a cold vow
That this won't be forgiven
So it beckons to December
In a voice chill and shrill
And bades it remember
And sure December will…
Give ear to November's
Entreaty so bold…
That December not delay
To bring on the cold
Then reclines November
In supine repose
Gives carte blanche to Jack Frost
To nip anyone's nose
Pulls up blanket of mist
Lies down her head
Then cooly welcomes December
…Into her bed…

The Clown
He's the clown at the carnival
he's always lively
he's always happy
and with his little magics
he brings joy
to every children's heart.
He's the clown at the carnival
he's always smiling
but utters no word
jumping
dancing
tumbling
jugglin g
he does nothing
but give joy.
He's the clown at the carnival
but when twilight comes
no one can say.
He's the clown at the carnival
beside the cold cemented bed
of his beloved
his tears endlessly falling
from his eyes
no longer painted with colors.
He's the clown at the carnival
have you already seen his tears?

Fundamental of Liar Chapter XCII: Clown
The crown of the clown is a big hat of lie
And sweets and candies to lock their mouth
The victory of the clown is a bouquet of laugh
And grin and smile to hide the rest of secret
The crime of clown is a curtain of farewell
And blindfold and cold blood in making shadow
The sorrow of clown is a dance forever
And sin and punishment that never come to end

The Three Faces of a Clown
The three faces of a clown
are anger, sadness and an upward frown
The angry clown, shows his teeth
scaring kids and bringing them grief
when they're in bed and filled with fright
in their dreams, he'll appear tonight
The sad clowns face begins to frown
wherever he goes, he's feeling down
he sheds a tear when he plays around
then starts to cry, a piercing sound
But the happy clown remembers all this
when angry or sad, he had fallen in abyss
Now anger and sadness are no longer found
only happiness, on this three faced clown.

In Love With A Clown
You know I care a lot
I gave you everything I got
The little that I have - yeah
Between the cigarettes and coke
I always find a joke
To make you smile
And sometimes when you are down
I will come around
To put your feet back on the ground - oh yeah
'cause you are in love with a clown
In love with a clown
Your mom is not my friend, she didnt like the band
But thats okay with me
And the money that I make, cant pay the china that I break
Thats okay with me
And I always spill with wine,
I never come in time
I forget to wash my feet
But I give you what you need
Life is upside down
'cause you are in love with a clown
In love with a clown
I never promised you diamonds and pearls
'cause I would lose them somewhere in the town
You searched so hard for the men of your dreams
And what is what you found
The love of a clown...
And I always spill with wine,
I never come in time
I forget to wash my feet
But I give you what you need
Life is upside down
'cause you are in love with a clown

Boys In The Band
Hey, you, who are you talkin to
Hey, boy, havent you heard the news
No one can fight more than these boys
No one can bite more than these boys
Hey, hose, who do you want to know
Hey, punk, get off my case and go
No one can fix more than these boys
No one can kick more than these boys
The boys in the band
You can back down
Yours is no disgrace
No slack clown
Its time to close your face
Hey, now, what have you got thats new
Come on boy what are you trying to prove
No one can take more than these boys
cause no one can shake more than these boys
The boys in the band
You can break down
Yours is no disgrace
No slack clown
Its time that you knew your place
Come on break down
cause yours is no disgrace
No slack clown
Its time to close your face

The Clown In The Circus
What can i say..
I'm just the clown
Someone to cheer you up
And laugh at when you're down
That's my part
My role in this game of life...
When the odds are stacked again you
I'll role the dice
I'm a lover not a fighter
I'd rather laugh then cry
I don't look further then immortality
And i don't ask questions why
I'm just the clown
I'm just a clown
But what happens when the one who makes you smile
Is the one who's feeling down?
I can't lose my will to live
Or my part in this play
Who will be the one
To take these clouds away
What can i say...
I'm just a clown
I want to cheer you up
I don't want to see you frown
Lifes too short
In this theatre play
but i can't always be the one that's gonna make your day...
But i will try
Just remember at some point in our lives
We all need time
An a shoulder to lean on when we cry
Love from the clown xx

Dont Nobody Bring Me No Bad News
(charlie smalls)
When I wake up in the afternoon
Which it pleases me to do
Dont nobody bring me no bad news
cause I wake up already negative
And Ive wired up my fuse
So dont nobody bring me no bad news
If were going to be buddies
Better bone up on the rules
cause dont nobody bring me no bad news
You can be my best of friends
As opposed to payin dues
But dont nobody bring me no bad news
No bad news
No bad news
Dont you ever bring me no bad news
cause Ill make you an offer, child
That you cannot refuse
So dont nobody bring me no bad news
When youre talking to me
Dont be cryin the blues
cause dont nobody bring me no bad news
You can verbalize and vocalize
But just bring me the clues
But dont nobody bring me no bad news
Bring some message in your head
Or in something you cant lose
But dont you ever bring me no bad news
If youre gonna bring me something
Bring me, something I can use
But dont you bring me no bad news

Dear Madam Barnum
I put on a fake smile
And start the evening show
The public is laughing
I guess by now they know
So climb from your high horse
And pull this freak show down
Dear madam barnum
I resign as clown
You said I was the master of all I surveyed
But now Im sweeping up
The last in line in your circus parade
Children are clapping
As I fall to the floor
My heart torn and broken
And they just scream for more
If Im not the sole fool
Who pulls his trousers down
Then dear madam barnum
I resign as clown
You tread the high wire
Between truth and lies
Your safety net just walked out
Much to your surprise
Strike up the band love
And let the show begin
For this is the last time
Im painting on a grin
If Im not the sole fool
Who pulls his trousers down
Then dear madam barnum
I resign as clown

Fred The Clown
Orange, blue, red, white and brown
The favorite colors of Fred the Clown
A happy and jolly clown he is
But some people he likes to tease
Everyone hates to be with Fred the Clown
But Fred never showed the people a frown
He never felt bad for what he did
The hatred inside the people had hid
The people thought of what to do with Fred the Clown
They decided to talk to the mayor of town
He laughed at what the people said
He laughed until his face gone red
The mayor didn't believe the people
For Fred the Clown gives him a tickle
They always the mayor smiled that way
Ever since Fred came each day
He already knew what Fred was doing
So he decided to call Fred for a meeting
The mayor told him what the people had said
And so left poor little Fred
The people decided to give Fred a chance
So Fred the Clown gave them a dance
The dance was so funny that they laughed all day
Fred the Clown will forever stay

Another clown
the clown with red nose
the clown with green ears
the clown with yellow cheeks
the clown with webbed feet
the children don’t like the clowns
all clowns
all the children are scared by all clowns
the child with orange hairs
the child with blue eyes
the child with pink smiles
the child with wide eyes
the clown don’t like the children
all children
all the clowns want to kill all children
the clown get back at home
He shouts: I hate the children
then he eats the soup of day
quietly smiling
the child get back at home
He shouts: I hate the clowns
then he eats the soup of day
quietly smiling
But the worst is forthcoming:
one child among one million
will become a clown
Me I am not a child
I am not a clown and
I do not like the soup
luckily
all sad stories have an end
and here I write a full stop
