Who can be She?
She is who toils day and night,
Enkindles lamps spreads light,
In the celestial world of minds,
Gives the blind the gift of sight.
Rills of loyalty in her heart flow,
That water gardens where roses grow,
The lovers of poesy get in hands,
Garlands of poems that ever glow.
I know not why my heart wishes to adore,
Those who dive deep and bring ashore,
Gems, pearls and the beads of thoughts,
And distribute the stones door to door.
Her mind is flamed and blood is hot,
Her efforts will cause a change a lot,
The pride of age, the guiding star,
Who can be she? Melyssa Sprott.

The Door Between Two Worlds
this the door between our two worlds
it divides the inside and the outside
the light and the darkness
the choice is yours
there is no lock
there is only the hinge that holds the door to its place
when you open it
there is no sound
and when you close it
there is only this silence of the air sealed inside our minds
my heart does not sing inside
it is muted by the darkness that moment your gentle hands
close the door
it is patient, the mind
the incompatibilities of the things outside us
are too inviting
they tempt us to step outside and promise us
the magical wonders of freedom
we feel so light like our joys like cottons and clouds
they are no different from our wishes
i am in the middle of this door between us
& you look at me like i am the last man of this earth
your heart opens with eyes too careful not to know
what i do next is the suspense of this uncertainty
your eyes close, my heart bleeds
my hands wilt, your mind wanders like a lost wind
the door closes finally
walling us in
it locks upon itself and
the world sleeps soundly curling its feet on the beds of the
heavens

Summer Lovers
Clasp the blue sky and sea so free
These sweet angels smile for all
She is immortal myth and soft dreams
Romance is the garden before the fall
Forests blossom with deep green pride
The rain has made the rivers swell
Moonlight shines on her face and eyes
Love is water from the deepest well
Isn't passion made for the heart?
Spring becomes summers bloom
Love cannot begin without a start
Hear the robin and cardinals tune
Deep streams of mystic water flow
Sacred ground, promises are made
Dappled sunlight, lily pads grow
Timeless poems never wilt or fade
Touched by immortal roses of red
Kisses like honey from a tree of love
Silky stars serenade a heavenly bed
Song birds bring a song from above
Lovers are wild flowers on a magic night
Waves glisten with moonlight glow
Morning dances with joy and delight
Summer lovers reach each others soul
What would life be without summer lovers?

What Is Christmas?
Christmas is that hamlet small,
That offered haven to them all
That Judean night,
There came a light
To mend man's plight.
Christmas is that manger worn
Wherein the Son of God lay born
For you and me
So patiently
'Mid poverty.
Christmas is that shining star
That summoned magi from afar
Adore this King
Gifts to Him bring
While angels sing.
Christmas is that warming glow
That in man's heart begins to grow
Till we're full of
That gift of Love
From God above.

Straight To My Heart
Well in a hundred years from now
They will attempt to tell us how
A scientific means to bliss
Will supercede the human kiss
A sub atomic chain
Will maybe galvanize your brain
A biochemic trance
Will eliminate romance
But why ever should we care
When there are arrows in the air
Formed by lovers ancient art
That go straight to my heart
A future sugar coated pill
Would give our lovers time to kill
I think theyre working far too much
For the redundancy of touch
But what will make me yours
Are a millions deadly spores
Formed by lovers ancient art
That go straight to my heart
Come into my door
Be the light of my life
Come into my door
Youll never have to sweep the floor
Come into my door
Be the light of my life
Come into my door
Come and be my wife
Ill be true. to no one but you
If its a future would we fear
We have tomorrows seeds right here
For you can hold them in your hand
Or let them fall into the sand
But if our love is pure
The only thing of which were sure
Then you can play your part
And fly straight to my heart
If I should seek immunity
And love you with impunity
Then the only thing to do
Is for me to pledge myself to you
But they only dealt one card
So for me it is not hard
Youre the bright star in my chart
You go straight to my heart
Come into my door
Be the light of my life
Come into my door
Youll never have to sweep the floor
Come into my door
Be the light of my life
Come into my door
Come and be my wife
Ill be true. to no one but you

The well of love
I think in these quiet moments of the night
That love and despise are two feelings of close side
Although we prefer one and shun the other
Nevertheless we do confuse between one another
Like two branches emerging from the same trunk
Of tree, nourished by roots of the same rank
Yet they are so different upon our mood.
Love turns its head towards the EAST
The dawn of day, the sun of new hopes
Despise turns its head towards the west
The end of the day, the dusk before the dark
The pause, the end, the death
The cease, the change.......
There is a change, and I am left poor
The love that had been, nor long ago
A fountain at my heart's door
Whose only tread was to flow
And flow it did; not taking heed
Of storms of tempests
Of its own bounty, or my need
What happy moments I knew
What divine thoughts I drew
From its existence
Blessed was I then all bliss above
Now for this consecrated Fount
Of murmuring, sparkling, living love
What have I left with? Shall I dare tell?
A comfort less and a hidden well
Yes a well of love
I guess
It may be still deep
With water fresh and distilled
I trust it is, and never dry
What it matters if the waters sleep?
In silence and in obscurity of its deep
Such a change, at the very door
Of my fond heart, has made me poor

The Hell
O! The prudent poet,
I admit you know
The mysteries of muse,
The words speak themselves
In front of you,
Your poems and panegyrics,
Song and lyrics,
Similes, images and metaphors:
All versified agents of poesy
Are more precious than the gems
Diamonds, pearls and prizes;
Costly than the ancient costumes,
The strings of beads
Clustered rounds the royal necks;
Antiques of the alien lands,
And treasures of the distant fairy world;
They might have shine of the full moon,
As the words,
Like stars glow in the divine books,
But these crystals of jewels,
In black and white,
Quench not hunger of the Hell:
The cruel, brutal belly.

This Ring
this ring is a token of my love, sent from heaven above.
you came into my life when things were going wrong
and everything in my life seemed bleak.
you lifted up my spirit higher than its ever been before
and with this you opened up my door.
the door to my heart had been closed tight
always with darkness and never with light.
you reminded me that there are two sides to every coin
and that everything can not be one sided.
and with my heart i tried to hide it.
just like a ring which is round-love can always be found.
like a ring - life has a starting point and an end
if mistreated it will bend.
so i give you this ring of love
forged and strenghtened by gods hand from above.
this ring will not tarnish or fade, but will glow more every passing day.
until it fills your heart ever so bright
and this i promise will be your guiding light.
so keep this ring as a token of my love
for just like a star in the sky
my love for you will never die.

A Shooting Star Flew By One Night
A shooting Star flew by one night
I wished upon its burning light
I wished for love to fill a heart
For love taken away in the dark
A Shooting Star flew by one night
I wished upon its burning light
My wish was answered by you and you
Who would have known the love of few
Would grow to heaven’s blue
A Shooting Star flew by one night
I wished upon its burning light
A knight in shining armor you might not be
A protector with strength and love you have given me
A Shooting Star flew by one night
I wished upon its burning light
Your love for us you have not failed
You took our hands and rode the Shooting Star’s tail
A Shooting Star flew by one night
I wished upon its burning light
Although I wished for many more
My love for you I will always adore
A Shooting Star flew by one night
I wished upon its burning light
May heaven bring us Peace
Your love for us will never cease

At first sight
Perceived love at first sight,
Provide vigour and might,
Against every odds, path right,
Never out of goal keeping in sight,
Always memorable in life,
Dreaming to make her partner or wife,
Ready to sacrifice anything and show,
Always attracted towards beauty and glow,
Wants to build steady trust and grow,
Ready to swim with the water and flow,
Not to miss any chance and offer,
All wishes for happiness and self suffer,
All consequences frighten and create panic,
Even feet too crumble with melody or music,
Thoughts travel faster than light,
Count the stars at dead night,
At such an age awful experience,
Wedding of all watching at fence,
No more kidding but sincere efforts,
Attending all calls from ship at ports,
Waiting for response immediately to follow,
Oh! but courage and strength will not allow,
Always thinking of steps to show her but how?
Attempts to be made not late but now,
All hopes dashing with the news of engagement,
When see all preparations of marriage and movements,
With heavy heart no love to express,
Some weakness in part ready to redress

I See Lovers
I see lovers wherever I go
but they do not see me.
Their looks are just for each other
and I wonder how I can be
content without the eyes of a lover
shining for my sight?
I long for his heart to love me
and warm me in the night.
Nights are cold and lonely
and my thoughts are lonely too.
My lover, you're with another
and my heart is missing you.
I try to avert my eyes now
from wherever lovers are found.
For to see the happiness between them
makes me come unwound.
If only wishes could find their way
to reach you then you'd feel
what I'm feeling when you're not here
and what that does reveal.
A soul that's lost in a world of lovers
whose eyes don't look like mine.
I don't belong to that world anymore.
I belong where lovers pine.

Doorway
I stand in the doorway to my soul,
The door is locked and you threw away the key,
Please find it in your heart to forgive, then look me in the eye,
Find the key that unlocks the door, let me back in to our soul,
You did it without me but together we can do so much more,
Stay in the light and there will be no night anymore.
The pain is gone the heart is strong,
The future bright with stars and light,
The fear is gone the love is strong,
The love that shines is the eternal mind.
The deepest well has spat me out into the night,
I am lost and blind without your light,
Please be my friend in my darkest hour,
Help me find myself tonight,
The future calls, our pain been heard,
I feel your love like a beacon in the night,
Together we will bring the light to all,
Tarry not for the time is nigh,
Lead me out of this maze, to a new crazy world,
Where brotherhood is true love and friendship reigns,
Where peace comes quickly to those who forgive.

Rays are not barred
You are beyond the reach.
I am behind the ditch.
Can we shake hands?
You are upon a tower.
I am on the floor.
Can we hear words?
You are in, door shut.
I am out, in wait.
Can we cross our glances?
You are in a cave.
A new moon night.
Can I search for you?
You are ashore.
I am with no oar.
Can I sail to you?
We are lamps, burning.
Lamps kept apart.
Their rays are yet meeting.
We are not separated
Our union is absolute.
Barrier has no fence.

I Adore You
(K.J.Garside C.Gray)
They open my window...in comes the light,
I froze in the corner...I pray for the night,
But if it's you my dear who turns on the light,
I'll eat from your hands as a bird with no fear no no,
fear.
Because I adore you,
I adore you,
I adore you,
I adore you.
Rise up my dark star...face into the night,
Come out of your corner..shine for the night,
if it's you my love who turns on the light,
I'll eat from your hands as a bird with no fear no no,
fear.
Because I adore you,
I adore you,
I adore you,
I adore you,
I adore you,
I adore you.
Climb out of the shadows...crawl into the night,
Fall out of the window...die to the night,
if it's you my love who turns on the light,
I'll eat from your hands as a bird with no fear no no,
fear.
Because I adore you...

Be My Baby
I saw you walk down the street
With some other girl
Always thought that I was the only one in your world
Baby can you tell me so
Out of sight of of mind aint what love ought to be
And I hoped all the time that youd be faithful to me
Faithful to me
All Im asking you for when you walk out the door
Is to me my baby, baby
I just want to be sure
That forever and more
You would be my baby
Love is just like a flower baby it has to grow
And when you are away Im even loving you more
I just have to let you know
One on one is the way and thats the way it should be
So if youre not gonna stay
Then dont be playing with me
You can set me free
All Im asking you for when you walk out the door
Is to me my baby, baby
cause all this lovev is for you
And you know that Im true
And Ill be your baby
All Im asking you for when you walk out the door
Is to me my baby, baby
cause I knew from the start
That you were working my heart
Wont you be my baby
I remember our walk other saturday night
Sweet harmonies filled and floated through our minds
Never felt this way before
We were riding so high on love and understanding
So why go wasting your time when you have got such a find
That is everlasting
All Im asking you for when you walk out the door
Is to me my baby, baby
I just want to be sure
That forever and more
You would be my baby
All Im asking you for when you walk out the door
Is to me my baby, baby
cause all this lovev is for you
And you know that Im true
And Ill be your baby
And I want you to love me baby.

Universe Embraces Written Souls
Turn album of memories
holds time in our hands
heart throbs paint images
we ran our souls in light
as we ran wet flow fingers
through paint breath canvas
deep colours blaze in hues
shape soul gift open flowers
we set flower sails on water
streams sparkle seed shapes
ripples ride diamond light river
celebrations perfume daylight
candles warm birth womb night
our souls hold time in serenity
star smiles illuminate light sky
pulse in glow depths time space
spreads shadows veils shimmer
black lace spreads wind ripples
beautifies bodies breath bright
beauty ripe graces eyes beholders
bliss embrace heaven sung melody
sparkle eyes thrill flash flesh radiant
blows soft whispers into comic seas
angels sing joy celebrate soul maker.

The Better Gems
What's better than gold?
A heart of gold and a golden rule
Thus donot over the mined thing drool.
What's better than pearls?
Any pearls of wisdom
grant the oyster some freedom
What's better than diamonds?
Supernovas that dazzle like them
So fret not if you cannot
afford the earthly
underground gem
What's better than rubies red?
Carmine roses and rosy lips
I do and maybe you too
already have them
What's better than emerald?
Feline eyes glowing in the dark!
Ah Lord! that fluorescent spark!
What's better than silver?
The hope that every cloud has a silver lining
Even miners they don't enjoy the mining
What's better than amber?
Amber eyes in God's variety of eyeball shades
Ah! those ebony-eyed maidens and maids.
And whether it be
zircon or amethyst
sapphire or lapis lazuli
agate opal or tanzanite
what tis far better
than all these gems put together
is anyone known as a
'gem of a person'
Now it's up to you to go
beyond your flesh and blood
and be a guiding star!

My Strength
God is with me day and night
He takes on my battles, when
I no longer have strength to fight.
I wake up in the morning and who do I see
His sons beautiful picture hanging over me.
The cross on which he was laid to rest
Is directly above my head.
I walk out my door and the first light I see
Is the face of my lord staring back at me.
He is my compass where ever I go
He leads me to his light - this much I know.
He is the guiding star in the sky
Always there for you and I.
His father was the light that the kings saw that night
Taking them to this glorious sight.
He is known as the son of god
The king of man
He came to show mankind the promised land.
So many stories and teachings that we know
Upon us he did bestow.
Follow your heart as I did mine
And you will be blessed till the end of time.

Old Japan
In old Japan, by creek and bay,
The blue plum-blossoms blow,
Where birds with sea-blue plumage gay
Through sea-blue branches go:
Dragons are coiling down below
Like dragons on a fan;
And pig-tailed sailors lurching slow
Through streets of old Japan.
There, in the dim blue death of day
Where white tea roses grow,
Petals and scents are strewn astray
Till night be sweet enow;
Then lovers wander whispering low
As lovers only can,
Where rosy paper lanterns glow
Through streets of old Japan.
From Wonderland to Yea-or-Nay
The junks with painted prow
Dream on the purple water-way
Nor ever meet a foe;
Though still, with stiff mustachio
And crooked ataghan,
Their pirates guard with pomp and show
The ships of old Japan.
How far beyond the dawning day
The glories ebb and flow,
Where still the wonder-children play,
The witches mop and mow;
How far, how far, no chart may show,
The heart of mortal man,
The light, the splendour, and the glow
That once were old Japan!
That land is very far away
We lost it long ago!
In old Japan the grass is grey,
The trees are white with snow;
The sea-blue bird became a crow,
The lizards leapt and ran,
No dragon mourned that overthrow,
The dream of old Japan.
In old Japan, at windows grey,
Where scents of opium flow,
Strange smiling faces, white as clay,
Nod idly to and fro;
There life and death may come and go,
With blessing or with ban,
And still no better gift bestow
Than this, in old Japan.
And now the wistful years delay
To wonder why and how
The blue fantastic twisted day,
When Emperor Hwang or Chow
Dreamed in the colour and the glow
That light the heart of man,
Could e’er such hours of flowers bestrow
Through streets of old Japan.
In old Japan they used to play
A game forgotten now;
They filled a nacre-coloured tray
With perfumes in a row,
Breathing of all the flowers that blow
Where dark-blue rivers ran,
Like those upon the plates, you know,
Through fields of old Japan;
Then with silver spatula
The mandarins would go
To test the scented dust and say,
With many a hum and ho,
What flower of all the flowers that grow
For joy of maid or man,
Conceived the scents that puzzled so
The brains of old Japan.
In old Japan, where poets pray
With white uplifted brow,
What mystic floating scents delay
Below the purple bough,
O’er plains no scythe of death may mow,
Nor power of reason scan?
What mandarin musicians know
The flower of old Japan?
There, in the dim blue death of day
Where white tea-roses grow,
Petals and scents are strewn astray
Till night be sweet enow,
Then lovers wander, whispering low
As lovers only can,
Where rosy paper lanterns glow
Through streets of old Japan.

A Complaint
There is a change--and I am poor;
Your love hath been, nor long ago,
A fountain at my fond heart's door,
Whose only business was to flow;
And flow it did; not taking heed
Of its own bounty, or my need.
What happy moments did I count!
Blest was I then all bliss above!
Now, for that consecrated fount
Of murmuring, sparkling, living love,
What have I? Shall I dare to tell?
A comfortless and hidden well.
A well of love--it may be deep--
I trust it is,--and never dry:
What matter? If the waters sleep
In silence and obscurity.
--Such change, and at the very door
Of my fond heart, hath made me poor.
