On Doing Little
I stood all alone
On the round rock,
And beheld below
Into the valley,
The smouldering substance,
Smoke rose,
Dissipated into spheres,
Explosives
Blackened the ground,
And I smelt the stench
Of burning blood.
Then I saw descending,
A queue of angels,
From heights
Of the yonder mountain;
They were white, black and brown,
They were toddling down
To the singed valley,
And in hands they bore
Beacons of dreams.
They gathered around
One by one,
Sat jumbled holding
Their tiny bare feet,
All pricked, perforated
With the points of thorns;
And had a similar complaint
On the lips.
“You scattered
The seed of bushes,
On the path
Whereupon the children
Of Adam
Would have to pass,
You multiplied miseries,
You snatched
Richness, and fertility
Of the mother Earth,
You polluted
Rivers and rills,
You eroded
Mounts and hills,
Faults were yours
But we suffer though the penalty.”
I listened to them
Drooping my head,
And felt guilty
To my own conscience,
On scattering seed
Of thorny bushes,
Instead of planting
The cuttings of roses,
I was really ashamed
On doing little
For the angles:
The descending generations.
Yes! I confess,
I made the world
A store of weapons;
Its plains, the battlefields.
Oh! Inhabitants of the Earth,
It is time to revamp
Our mode of actions;
Let us remove
The fear of extinction,
By disposing of instruments,
Of conflicts, fights and wars,
Conventional, chemical and nuclear.
Let us eliminate,
The stench of explosives
By perfuming the world
With sweet fragrant roses.
Let us sing
A song of harmony:
Peace for the East, peace for the West,
Peace for the North, peace for the South,
And peace, peace for both of the anti-poles.
Let us hand over the world
To our children
Beautified and worth-living,
Let us be the residents,
Being makers and producers,
Architects and designers,
And manufacturers of commodities
Of love, of faith, of tolerance,
And not being the destroyers:
Killers and slayers.

Happy New Year 2011
Happy, happy New Year,
May it bring thousands
Of good tidings for you
And the world too.
May it bring along,
Showers of love,
Peace and harmony,
To make the world
A place worth-living for
The descending generation,
That I see approaching
On the route of life
With tiny bare feet,
Horrified and appalled
The route replete with thorns
And spots of blood.
The generation
Of our sons and daughters
Is entering the threshold
Of the New Year
With extended arms
Asking us to bless them
With love, peace and harmony:
The rare commodities,
In the world,
Instead of the devices
Made with explosives.

The World Needs Peace And Love
The world needs peace, the world needs love.
Muslims and Christians are all alike.
The world needs peace, the world needs love.
We don't need another airstrike.
The world needs peace, the world needs love.
People of all colors must be one.
The world needs peace, the world needs love.
All sorts of violence must be gone.
The world needs peace, the world needs love.
Stop killing our brothers and sisters!
The world needs peace, the world needs love.
Stop all these bullshit wars!
The world needs peace, the world needs love.
Stop terrorism, please.
The world needs peace, the world needs love.
Let our children live to the fullest.
The world needs peace, the world needs love.
We must stand together for better world.
The world needs peace, the world needs love.
We are the children of God.
The world needs peace and love...

Protect Our Children
We want Peace
For our children in the Middle East
From Israel to Lebanon
From Congo to Gabon
From the West to the East
We want Peace
Not stupid wars
Not obnoxious outlaws
Big guns can only kill
Big tanks can only distill
Pain, misery and death
We want Peace on Earth
We want Peace everywhere
We abhor injustice and terror
We want Peace in the North
We want Peace in the South
Our innocent children are being killed
Our fellow human beings are being killed
It is a big deal, it a sick and sad thing
We don’t want to hear bang, bang
We want to hear people laugh
Not cry, not suffer and swimming in a blood bath
We want friends to be happy and elated
Not being tortured and executed
We want Peace
For our children in the Middle East
We want Peace in the North
We want Peace in the South
There is one God, there is one Love
Let’s protect our children and each other
There is one God, there is one Love
Let’s pray for Peace and let's love each other
We want Peace and Love for every one
From Israel to Lebanon
We want absolute Protection for children
We want Hope for our fellow men and women.

What is Peace? ?
What is peace? ?
Peace is when you care for others,
Peace is when there is no violence in the world,
Peace is much more powerful then evil,
Peace is easily found when you give others what you desire,
Peace is the answer to all the wars in the world,
Peace is when there is unity among all the people,
Peace is when your soul can rest,
Peace is when there is hope of good above,
Peace is when there is love for others,
Peace is when there is acceptance in the world,
Peace is bringing joy to the world,
Peace is in helping others
This is what Peace is,
This and much more!

Peace Will Be On The Earth
When wars launched for peace,
Will finish by consuming their ferocity,
And they will eliminate,
The signs of life on the Earth,
And when the planet,
Will go singed and lifeless,
Around the sun,
Through the boundless spaces,
All sleeping, silent,
And cockroaches will rule the world,
There will be peace,
Yes! Peace, peace on the Earth.

The Peace of God vs. The Peace of The World
-God says I give you the peace of God, that passes all Understanding
The World says ' I will give you peace' but the world doesn't tell you that that peace is just too Demanding.
-God says Love thy neighhbor
The world says hate thy enemy and love only under certain circumstances.
-God says I will show you the way, for I am a lamp unto your feet
The world says You are on your own.
*The peace of God vs the Peace of the World
The world says ' Go head girl put cha leg up' and that 69 is fine
-The Lord says: ' Have fun' but Honor me cus I am yours and you are Mine.
The world says ' this ain't burger king, you can't always have it your way'.
-The Lord says 'don't worry, tommorrow will be a brighter day'!
The world gives you hope, peace and joy that is only temporary
-But the Lord gives you joy like a river overflowing, smiles that have other people glowing.
He makes your enemy your footstool,
whereas the world lets everyone walk all over you.
The world gives you a candle that will soon burn out
-God gives you a lamp, that will eliminate all doubt
* The peace of God vs the Peace of the world.
Oh the illusions of peace from the world
And the reality of God's Peace
It gives you the ability to teach
the ability to preach
and the ability to face seen and unseen realities.
oh the illusion s seem similar,
But NO, OH NO there are NO commonalities!
So which one will you take?
The Peace of God or the Peace of the World.

Peace is what the world needs fast
Peace is required most
Peace can't come by waging wars
Peace is born through great efforts!
Peace can dwell when love prevails
Peace is the driving force
Peace must last forever to
Keep the world love life firstly
Peace is the priceless wealth much sought
Peace must start from homes
Peace must spread through all nations
And fill hearts and minds of men
Peace is one that brings progress
Peace can bridge differences
Peace is made by dialogues
Peace is the key to world's happiness

Light the candles right now
It's about to be darkness, oh yeah
There's no telling when the sun will shine again, no
When it's over there's a question asked
Who wins? Who wins?

If I could I'd pack my bags
And hitch hike to heaven, yeah

Peaceful Prayers
Let there be peace in the world.
Let us all see peace and not war.
Let us all have peace in the world.
Let all our statesmen know no violence,
Let all love peace with warm vehemence,
Let all be clothed with passionate patience,
Let all respect peace with real reverence.
Let peace pervade every political terrain,
Let peace calm the spirits of every domain,
Let peace be at peace with every reign,
Let each achieve peace with poor pain.
Peace, to you we plead: come to us.
Peace, we entreat you: deign on us.
Peace, we want you: envelope us.
Let our homes be adorned with peace,
Let our streets be paved with peace,
Let our cities be set on a hilltop of peace.
Let peace taint our every thought.
Let there be peace, let peace never cease
Let there be peace, let war forever cease.

Its A Jungle Out There
(scream) I just gotta get away
Cant stand it
Children suffer every day
Tell me baby
Whats it for
Fighting daily
For the turf
Were still killing each other
In the name of the lord
Theres a brand new graffiti
With blood on the walls
Peace... are you that far away?
Now you can feel it
Other peoples pain
Love can heal it
Gentle as the rain
Oh, the united nations drag their feet on the floor
All they do is spend your money
They dont tell you what for
Peace... what price we have to pay
Peace... theres gotta be a better way
People tell me its useless to look for a way
I believe that tomorrow starts right here, today
Peace... are you that far away
Peace... theres gotta be a better way
Peace... are you that far away
Peace... theres gotta be a better way
Peace, peace
Theres gotta be a better way
Peace, peace oh oh oh peace

Let There Be Peace
Let there be peace, in those, that are pure of heart.
Let there be peace among men of difference.
Let there be peace on a hard winters day.
Let there be peace, before there is anger.
Let there be peace, in the valley of stress.
Let there be peace, among those we love.
Let there be peace, between all our faiths.
Let there be peace, when our day is done.
Let there be peace, in the universal message of man.
Let there be peace, in the canyons, of displacement.
Let there be peace, with the sick and the poor.
Let the rifles' be quieted and let there be peace.
Let men at war, replace confrontation, with peace.
Let political forces join together, and bring us peace.
Let men of all colors and religions, join in peace.
Let more money be spent on peace, than on war.
Let wasted billions, bring peace, to those less fortunate.
It matters not, what your religion, or who you
pray to...may you find peace.
Let There Be...
Let there be peace, in those, that are pure of heart.
Let there be peace among men of difference.
Let there be peace on a hard winters day.
Let there be peace, before there is anger.
Let there be peace, in the valley of stress.

Flower-De-Luce: Christmas Bells
I heard the bells on Christmas Day
Their old familiar carols play,
And wild and sweet
The words repeat
Of peace on earth, good-will to men!
And thought how, as the day had come,
The belfries of all Christendom
Had rolled along
The unbroken song
Of peace on earth, good-will to men!
Till, ringing, singing on its way,
The world revolved from night to day,
A voice, a chime
A chant sublime
Of peace on earth, good-will to men!
Then from each black accursed mouth
The cannon thundered in the South,
And with the sound
The carols drowned
Of peace on earth, good-will to men!
It was as if an earthquake rent
The hearth-stones of a continent,
And made forlorn
The households born
Of peace on earth, good-will to men!
And in despair I bowed my head;
'There is no peace on earth,' I said;
'For hate is strong,
And mocks the song
Of peace on earth, good-will to men!'
Then pealed the bells more loud and deep:
'God is not dead; nor doth he sleep!
The Wrong shall fail,
The Right prevail,
With peace on earth, good-will to men!'

All We Want Is Peace (Please)
Peace, Peace, Please,
Please, Peace, Please,
There’s something we should do
That’s not been done
Something we can win
That’s not been won
Something we can SHOUT OUT
To end all their brutal war games
We Want Peace
Case for war was fake,
Don’t let it fade
More lives can be saved
Got to be brave
Something we can shout out,
We want peace, and we want it right now
Talking is Free
All we want is Peace
All we need is Peace
All we ask is Peace, Please
Peace is all we want
All we crave is Peace
All we miss is Peace
All we lack is Peace
Peace is all we want
Something we can ask,
Before it’s blown
Something we can grow
Before it’s grown
Small green shoots of Peace
To educate next infancy
Believe me
All we want is Peace
All we crave is Peace
All we wish is Peace, please
Peace is all we ask
It’s not a big task
Believe me
It’s easy.
All we want is Peace, All we want is Peace,
All we need is Peace, All we need is Peace.
Peace is all we want,
Peace is all we want
Peace is all we need,
Peace is all we need………………

Peace to the world....
Peace to the world
Like a flower in the sky
Peace
Peace-overcoming evil with good be
Peace
Give me peace I won't cry anymore
White dove symbol of peace
Peace can be found deep down in the heart
Peace in the winds that sleep upon the deep
I want peace
Peace in my personal space
I want peace in my feelings
Cloth me in white
The color of peace....

Sonnet: Lasting Peace on Earth
The peace that’s found on earth lasts not for long,
As leaders break their promises often;
The peace that wars bring serves to just prolong
The rivalries, when differences soften.
Man needs the peace of mind, of heart and soul,
Apart from peace surrounding his earth’s space;
Progress in fields occurs when peace is goal,
And keeps the health and wealth of human race.
The peace that wars unleash is quite futile;
The peace that dialogues bring, much better;
The peace that world bodies give is fragile;
The Maker is the final peace-setter!
The peace that man bestows on earth is short;
The peace that God ushers, none can abort!

Let Peace Prevail In This World.......
When you look for peace
then the peace lies within you
When you search for peace
then it is not hard to find
When you want to keep peace alive
then you allow white doves to fly over you
When you make peace with others
then the whole world live in your heart
When you let peace be in the world
then you live in wonderful world
When you allow peace flow around the world
then your hateness will go and love will flow
When you open the door for peace
then peace welcome to your lives.
Let the peace prevail in our wonderful world

Let There Be Peace
Someone let communication out the door
Someone decides its worth fighting for
Why havent we learned by what weve done before
Dont you know historys keeping score
And just once more
For every boy and every girl let there be love
All over the world
For everyone
Under the sun
(chorus):
Let there be peace on earth
Let every voice be heard
Le there be peace on earth
Brother to brother
til its felt around the world
Theres only one world in which we all mus live
Heaven shoe us how to forgive
And on that marble wall which holds a million names
Generations of dreams gone down in flames
Isnt, isnt it a shame
For every boy and every girl
Under the sun...
(chorus):
Let there be peace on earth
(why dont you try just a little harder)
Let every voice be heard
(my brother)
Let there be peace on earth
(oh, if we could just get it together)
til its felt around the world...
Were running out of time
As our leaders roll the dice
The human spirit cries
Its a precious, precious, precious...sacrifice.
(chorus x2)
Save the babies, save the babies
If we only get it together
If we could only get it together
I think we could make it
Think we could make it
Save the children...
Save the children...

Path Of Peace
Path Of Peace
By Paul Mc Cann
Peace is an easy path to tread
Peace is where our fears are mislaid
Peace is beginning to restore
Peace for each man, woman and child
Peace for the troubled streets gone wild
Peace is for the old and the young
Peace in the end will overcome
Peace builds trust into a lifestyle
Peace is a friendly open hand
Peace is a place to understand
Peace in the end will overcome
Peace is for the old and the young
Peace is a legacy to leave
Peace is when we don't have to grieve
Peace is and end to all the hate
Peace is why we negotiate
Peace for all the victims of war

Renewed Visions
Through blood stained windows,
I see vistas of hope
and peace being shown by the dove;
Peace idols have carved the peace for scope,
for us to enliven it with the message of love.
I chant the words “World is one”,
'No' to war I say, 'Yes' for peace I pray;
with the olive leaf I nurse every wound,
Urge all to sign the peace pact of universal language
then our world will be no more etched with fear;
peace will soar in our hearts forever.
Earth loves us,
I crave to establish on earth love and peace
for then barbaric acts of destruction will cease.
