Empty Hands
Where are you and where am I?
How an enormous ocean,
Of separation intruded in between.
If we imagine we shall go astray,
In the island if thoughts,
And we shall never have reunion.
At these nights of melancholy,
In the firmament of faithfulness,
When light did not flicker,
On the farms of wishes,
When clouds did not rain,
On the farm-edges,
When crow did not caw,
In the bowls of desires,
When dew of faithfulness,
And soothing sounds,
Did not descend;
Then descended a verse,
On the glow-worm of conscience,
'O! Lovers do not raise hands for prayers
For they are becoming infertile.'

God’s Faithfulness Through Me
Any faithfulness, which I display, in my service day to day,
Is not solely what I inspire, but, from a source much higher;
It comes from my Lord God, leading me with staff and rod,
And His Guidance, I must seek, for my flesh is oh so weak.
It’s my Lord working through me, in ways that I’d never see,
As God works out all His Ways, through me, in all my days;
Leaning upon my fleshly will, His ways, alone I cannot fulfill,
But, it’s God guiding me friend, in all my life, at every bend.
His faithfulness, I don’t deserve, as it is God, whom I serve,
Being saved from a life of sin, He leads by His Spirit within,
In many ways that I never knew, and all praise to Him is due,
As all God’s faithfulness to me, helps me to be, all I can be.
God cannot be unfaithful friend; His faithfulness has no end,
While He cannot deny Himself, He fills me with untold wealth,
God’s Divine Wealth in my heart, as His Spirit will not depart,
Abiding with me, every place, He fills me with amazing grace.
God’s Faithfulness gives to us, all who come to Christ Jesus,
That blessed and abundant life, while we live for Jesus Christ;
His Faithfulness has just begun, as we start to serve His Son,
As His Faithfulness to you and me, extends well into Eternity.

Surf For Other Fish
You will always question my faithfulness.
I downloaded pictures...
And shared my email address.
Meeting under these conditions,
I thought would produce less stress.
But I've been accused...
Without seeing none of you!
As your point of view in my mind,
Is impressed!
You will always question my faithfulness...
And my willingness to exchange honesty!
Perhaps what I've sent,
Is too real for your acceptance.
And rejection may be the best,
Of your 'mysterious' appeal!
Keep me filed as you surf for other fish.
I want to meet and greet someone...
Not evasive,
But ready to feel desires concealed.

Is Love A Gift
Love is a gift
Love is a curse
Faithfulness is the wrap
And betrayal is the slap
Love could be pain
When guilt is the rain
Love could be curse
When lust is the source
Love could be a blessing
This is not what I am guessing
When there is faithfulness and trust
Then love is not lust
Love could be death
Like an absence of breath
when you know you love
But you've been placed below
This is what I know
To love is to grow
But when you ar not loved
Life becomes hell

Rain Pouring Down
Rain pouring down incessantly
As thunder sounds in the distance
Announce the cool, washing of Earth
Soothe the soil and bring abundance.
Rain pouring down consistently
Reminds us of God's own Faithfulness
He brings forth growth continually
Harvest for man to feed and bless.

The Beacon
The silent shepherdess,
She of my vows,
Here with me exchanging love
Under dim boughs.
Shines on our mysteries
A sudden spark--
'Dout the candle, glow-worm,
Let all be dark.
'The birds have sung their last notes,
The Sun's to bed,
Glow-worm, dout your candle.'
The glow-worm said:
'I also am a lover;
The lamp I display
Is beacon for my true love
Wandering astray.
'Through the thick bushes
And the grass comes she
With a heartload of longing
And love for me.
'Sir, enjoy your fancy,
But spare me harm,
A lover is a lover,
Though but a worm.'

December When You Turn Again
O! December,
When you turn again this year,
You bring along
The news of the city which I long for.
The city
Where galaxies glimmer of glowworms,
Where the spheres beam
With the colours of butterflies,
Where all-around is the aroma
Of faithfulness.
That one who touches it,
Either with glance, or with fingertips,
Became perfumed for a while.
O! December,
When you turn again this year,
You bring along
The news of the city which I long for,
The city where grains of sand are stars,
The rose and the nightingale,
The moon and the stars,
Are the metaphors of faithfulness,
Where the heart is an ocean,
And gets several banks,
Where the goddess of fortune
Glimmers in the close palms.
O! December,
Ask us not the plight of our city,
Here eyes are grimed
With the dust of caravan passed by,
Here love is like an iceberg,
And grows on the farms of sunlight,
Here when the dawn emerges,
The exhausted dreams of night
Are dumped and begin to thaw,
Here splinters of broken passion
Prick in the eyes, here we weave
Golden dreams by dipping
Lashes into the blood of hearts,
Then live and die
Amid those fascinations.
Though it is impossible to stitch
The tattered soul yet,
O! December do come and bring along,
The news of the city which I long for.

You're An Ocean
Written by tony scalzo
Verse
Can you make it easier for me to understand,
How you're holding my heart, in your trembling hands...
Eyes that rise to meet me half way up among the stars,
You may be from venus but i'm definitely not from mars
Chorus
You're an ocean, you're an ocean
Settle down, settle down,
What's the commotion,
I'm an island, but you're an ocean,
It's a stormy sea of love and emotion,
You've got me suspended motionless in time
Verse
Make the warm winds circle round my head just like you do,
If i could do it, i'd be doing it to you,
I believe i'd buy whatever you would sell to me,
Nothing in my life ever came with a guarantee,
Chorus
You're an ocean, you're an ocean
Settle down, settle down,
What's the commotion,
I'm an island, but you're an ocean,
It's a stormy sea of love and emotion,
You've got me suspended motionless in time
Break
I believe i'd buy whatever you would sell to me,
Nothing in my life ever came with a guarantee,
You're an ocean, you're an ocean
Settle down, settle down,
What's the commotion,
I'm an island, but you're an ocean,
It's a stormy sea of love and emotion,
You've got me suspended motionless in time

Don't Be Alarmed By This
Don't be alarmed by this.
But there are people who actually believe,
They have a purpose with a faithfulness
To keep their noses up in other people's business.
And,
With dedication.
Some go to the extent,
To let it be known they stalk.
With a creation of all movements to gossip.
Others are so obsessed,
They tell others 'who' it is they know.
That they have yet not met
With the detailing of what that one has done,
From the moment they leave to return to their doorstep.
And who enters their home and what time that person left.
Don't be alarmed by this.
But there are people who actually believe,
They have a purpose with a faithfulness.
To keep their noses up in other people's business.
And,
With dedication.

Use Me Now
It is for Your pleasure,
That I am pleased...
Your Majesty.
Your blessings have delivered upon me,
Tremendous gifts.
And I devote my faithfulness,
To all that You are.
You...
Are My Highness.
And all within me,
That inspires to delight Your wishes.
I demand only my best to give!
This life I live is Yours...
I know!
And I wish to grow.
Only in those ways You allow.
Use me.
Use me!
Use me,
Now!

Wait
Wait, for now.
Distrust everything, if you have to.
But trust the hours. Haven't they
carried you everywhere, up to now?
Personal events will become interesting again.
Hair will become interesting.
Pain will become interesting.
Buds that open out of season will become lovely again.
Second-hand gloves will become lovely again,
their memories are what give them
the need for other hands. And the desolation
of lovers is the same: that enormous emptiness
carved out of such tiny beings as we are
asks to be filled; the need
for the new love is faithfulness to the old.
Wait.
Don't go too early.
You're tired. But everyone's tired.
But no one is tired enough.
Only wait a while and listen.
Music of hair,
Music of pain,
music of looms weaving all our loves again.
Be there to hear it, it will be the only time,
most of all to hear,
the flute of your whole existence,
rehearsed by the sorrows, play itself into total exhaustion.

A Sight Such As This
To keep her brood inside safe, protected
The mother swan spreads wide her wings,
A sight such as this I have reflected
Showed me a glimpse of His Divine caring.
All creation testify His Kindness
Boundless, infinite, given free.
Loving, awesome His Faithfulness
Yes, the LORD is good and full of Mercy!
............................. ..........
'He will cover you with His feathers,
and under His wings you will find refuge;
His faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.'

Among All Lovely Things My Love Had Been
AMONG all lovely things my Love had been;
Had noted well the stars, all flowers that grew
About her home; but she had never seen
A glow-worm, never one, and this I knew.
While riding near her home one stormy night
A single glow-worm did I chance to espy;
I gave a fervent welcome to the sight,
And from my horse I leapt; great joy had I.
Upon a leaf the glow-worm did I lay,
To bear it with me through the stormy night:
And, as before, it shone without dismay;
Albeit putting forth a fainter light.
When to the dwelling of my Love I came,
I went into the orchard quietly;
And left the glow-worm, blessing it by name,
Laid safely by itself, beneath a tree.
The whole next day, I hoped, and hoped with fear;
At night the glow-worm shone beneath the tree;
I led my Lucy to the spot, 'Look here,'
Oh! joy it was for her, and joy for me!

Heart Of Thorns
“God please place a thorn deep within my heart,
To seed itself inside,
That I might feel the pain of your inflictions,
The pain of sin that man tries so hard to hide.'
I need to remember daily Lord,
Of all the pain that you went through,
The pain you took so willingly,
That pain I never knew.
Place it as a test of my faithfulness,
My faithfulness to only you,
A reminder daily of what I need to know,
That reminder Lord… of only you.

Two Nights In One Day
Black clouds descend the threshold of peace,
men hastened to sleep by irons of blood
as seraphic sheeps slaughtered
in a cascade of crimson-like drips.
Black clouds descend the threshold of peace,
soulless souls on the prowl
shrieking with cruel delight
amid feasts on maiden-heads.
Black clouds descend the threshold of peace,
black clouds everywhere,
the garlands of peace trodden by beastly souls,
leaving us two nights in one day.

The Ambrosial
Verily I'm a drop
of the ocean of nectar.
Shunning the ocean I had risen up
in the firmament afar.
Coming down now
I've joined the ambrosial flow
and towards the ocean
ahead I'm in motion.
If I evaporate therein
on the way by the heat of sin,
in the form of dew later on
I'll descend below.
With the nectarean immortal flow,
I'll mingle in the ocean.

I Welcome The Rain That Comes In The Month Of August
equate the month of august with agony, it simply sounds like that
does not jibe well with sorrow or sadness, sounds too underestimating
and it goes well with the rain that comes surprisingly today
on this hot month, on this arid soil, on this acrid atmosphere
between us, this silence, inside us the rambling thoughts of
alienation, around us is the smell of spices of separation those that
when sliced like onions when peeled by our trembling fingers make us cry,
out there our eyes look at different directions and our hands are taking
the forms of mutual dislike like some roots spreading down the deep recesses
of this earth, preferring to be anonymous in this undescribable boredom
i like the rain, the sound of dripping, the slowness of life, dripping from my
hands like raindrops, like things gradually wasting themselves reaching my
toes, numb to my nails, wanting to be buried to the ground and simply
be forgotten

Imagine the World
Imagine the world ……………………….
Imagine the world without wars…
Imagine the world without your laws
Imagine your life without fear
Imagine your eyes without a tear
Imagine all men were real men
Imagine…imagine…imagine…
Imagine life without hate
Imagine you knew your own fate
Imagine all children were happy
Imagine all nations were free
What would life be like?
Imagine no-one were blind
Imagine all the woes behind
Imagine…….imagine……..imagine….
Imagi ne earth were flat
Imagine man without a heart
Imagine the day without light
Imagine the dark without the night
Imagine……….imagine……imagine……
Imagine faces without a smile
Imagine birds without a nightingale
Imagine …imagine…imagine
What would life be like?

No! Keep It
Why are you smiling so broadly?
It is clear you have been prevented,
From achieving your wishes and desires.
'Really?
Gee, I didn't know that.
And which wishes and desires,
Am I being prevented to achieve? '
I uh
Only you would know that.
Maybe those who are trying to prevent you,
Know that too.
'You might have a point.
Who are they? '
The ones preventing you from achieving!
You know
Your wishes and desires.
'Oh!
So
Maybe I shouldn't smile so broadly,
To have anyone detect
My wishes and desires have already been met.'
No!
Keep it.
Let them believe you are crazed.
They think it anyway.
But lose that skipping down the street business.
That will really throw them off.
'Hmmm
Maybe you have a point.
Maybe I'll go back to my arrogant strut and swagger.
You know
The one they associate with pretentiousness? '
