Love and Need
As I go walking through the mead
I ask the heavens high above
How much, at last, of love is Need,
How much of need is Love?
Oh, there's a need bereft of love
That's not the one I'm thinking of:
I diss the cash I soarly need
And there's an un-enamored greed.
But is there love existing still
Beyond the house, beyond the will,
Where people say 'I think you're great, '
And mean not really your estate?
Was there ever, then or now,
A perfectly indifferent pal
Who answered you a simple 'wow'
To every triumph great and small;
Alike ignoring gain, gainsay
Emotional or any other-
And wasn't Jesus, by the way,
And wasn't, by the way, your mother?
Heaven often answers them
Who imprecate its azure, so,
It moved some clouds to spell 'ahem'
The answer that you seek is 'no'.'

God’s Favor
I did nothing to gain God’s Favor, while living out a life of sin,
But, to me He sent The Savior, changing my heart deep within.
God changed my life’s behavior, and now my life I give to Him,
And though my heart may waver, His Holy Spirit remains within.
For my sins, as dark as night, God had sent for me a sacrifice,
God made my sins snowy white, by the blood of Jesus Christ.
Moving me from wrong to right, when for me He paid the price,
Which lead me into His Light, from my darkness, into New Life.
It wasn’t me who sought the face, of The God in Heaven above,
Instead, it was all of Grace, when He poured on me all His Love.
It was me, who God embraced; as God I wasn’t even thinking of,
Yet my sins God would erase, through Jesus and Calvary’s love.
It was God, who loved me first, for God moved upon my heart,
God had saved me at my worst, allowing me a brand new start.
While living in a world accursed, He helps me from sin to depart,
My course in life God reversed, with His Spirit, now in my heart.
I’ll never know, just how and why, I was favored by God on High,
But with His Favor I want to be, God’s witness so that all can see,
The Love God showed in His Son, who died for me and everyone,
So they can come to the place, where they too, accept His Grace.

Happily Never After Part 2
Once upon a time I was in love
Thought I had the world
Then one day the spell broke on me
Finding out was so hard
Believing that it wasn't true
Was I being naieve?
Could it be I was stupid thinking you could love me?
Or was it because I was so blind and in love?
Blaming myself
Thinking I wasn't good enough for you
What did I do?
Being perfect for you was so hard to do
Blaming myself is killing me

We were married for almost 45 years. We fought all the time, it wasn't a great love or anything, it wasn't a great, all-consuming passion. She was just there. A lot of people were startled because we didn't seem devoted but we were.

Today... 'My Banner
The Banner of Jesus is flying high
there nailed upon the cross was He to die.
With arms opened wide as a flag unfurled
as men passed by and their insults hurled.
Upon Calvary's hilltop the banner flies
as Jesus lays down His life for us and dies.
There the veil of the temple was torn in two
and heavens door opened we go through.
He said 'When I am hung upon the tree'
then I will draw Jews and Gentiles to me, '
To all who believe the cross leads to heaven
and all who come in repentance are forgiven.
Outstretched upon Calvary's cross I see
the full extent of Jesus' love for me.
The 'agape' love of God was outpoured
for this poor, vile sinner by Christ adored.
From the Root of Jesse the banner flies
'Come, enter the gates of heaven it cries.'
The Sovereign Lord beckons us to come
and calls us to our great heavenly home.
There praise shall be my glorious battle cry
and His great love my soul shall occupy.
Called into His Banqueting house above
where His great banner over me is love.

Love
Love is a gamble,
It leaves your thinking in a scramble,
The brain was once in control,
Now everything is different because you love with all your heart and soul.
Thinking with the mind,
Loving with the heart,
A beautiful feeling I find myself difficult to part.
Making decisions wit your heart.
It got your brain telling you that wasn't smart.
A prisoner of love never want to break free,
I was never looking for love but it found me.
Blinded by love, it's amazing because I am able to see things differently.
So now I'm holding it at hostage,
Reaping all the benefits.
I realised love possess great demands,
There are some ups and downs and they always go hand in hand.
I love forever and ever,
When I give love it wasn't meant to return to its owner.
True love is rare &sincere.
That's why before it's opened, love is labelled handle wit care.
Loving someone or something is incredible,
But I would be bias if I didn't say love often gets you into trouble.

What Else Ahead of Us Is Next?
I wasn't looking for love.
I wasn't looking for 'you'...
That's for sure!
But...
When our eyes met,
In the way that 'our' eyes met...
We both knew what that feeling was between us.
We both knew what that feeling meant.
What Else Ahead Of Us Is Next?
And for seconds we let it linger.
As if 'forever' came to not forget.
I was not looking for love.
Especially at that time of the day.
And under the circumstances.
We were at work and not at play.
It wasn't a setting for where love should be.
The humidity was high...
And we both were inside,
Sitting amongst others...
Preparing to eat,
Escaping from a Summer heat.
You with other obligations.
And me...
Determined to stay single.
For the rest of my life...
I expected to be.
We were all talking!
And suddenly our eyes...
From opposite ends of a table,
It then 'happened' as if secretly.
THERE.
Our eyes met each other,
And 'there' those feelings we both had...
Knew what it was instantly.
I wasn't looking for love.
I wasn't looking for 'you'...
That's for sure!
But...
When our eyes met,
I did not regret it.
But...
When our eyes met,
There was love understood.
And you and I both let it...
Be!
With a knowing we,
Fell in love magically.
And now...
What on Earth will we choose,
To do...
Next?
Meet discreetly,
To share our passion and sex?
What Else Ahead Of Us Is Next?
I wasn't looking for love.
I wasn't looking for 'you'...
That's for sure!
But...
When our eyes met,
In the way that 'our' eyes met...
What else ahead of us is next?

Bitter Blow of Love
Love! you dealt a bitter blow –
You lay me cross the mortal plains,
Bedewed, bedimmed amongst a show
Of tearful clouds: eternal rains
To weep at my enduring foe
Of harsh reality – searing pains of
Destiny: dependable propensity
To fool myself repeatedly
That I could ever triumph over love!

11 Years, New Years
Two days remaining
Until it's eleven years
Eleven years today
I didn’t know that new years
Would change me life
Bring me sorrow
Who’d have known
It was your last day
Eleven years tomorrow
Its the 30th December
As I sit here writing
Thinking of January the 1st
The day that we all
Have come to curse
The day when others
around the world
drink and be merry
While we sit here in sadness
Thinking of you and
Who you were
Thinking of the pain you suffered
And wishing you wasn’t dead, that
You, my mother was still walking this earth,
Wishing you were getting the love you deserve.
Wishing you were getting merry with your friends and daughters
The people who loved you and always should
But your not down here,
Your happy, smiling down…from above
My one and only mother
The mother I love
R.I.P My Mother I love you.

Suffer Me
she wanted something just like the real thing
he needed love and it all worked out some how
he knows that love is the king of emotion
but he can't touch her because she's too perfect now
but she wasn't like that then and
he wasn't like that then
they were everything, everything they need
chorus:
suffer me
call on me and i, i'll call on you
suffer me
call on me and i, I'll call on you, call on you
she wasn't thinking about anyone else just then
but she knew someone else would always come to mind
because they were strangers living in the feeling
they were scared when they heard they talked about love
but it wasn't like that then
it just wasn't like that then
they took everything because everything was for real
repeat chorus
oh yes they were thinning out
at that moment they were all afraid
started thinking that pretty soon one of them would leave
she said suffer me
repeat chorus twice

The Wrong House
I went into a house, and it wasn't a house,
It has big steps and a great big hall;
But it hasn't got a garden,
A garden,
A garden,
It isn't like a house at all.
I went into a house, and it wasn't a house,
It has a big garden and great high wall;
But it hasn't got a may-tree,
A may-tree,
A may-tree,
It isn't like a house at all.
I went into a house, and it wasn't a house -
Slow white petals from the may-tree fall;
But it hasn't got a blackbird,
A blackbird,
A blackbird,
It isn't like a house at all.
I went into a house, and I thought it was a house,
I could hear from the may-tree the blackbird call…
But nobody listened to it,
Nobody
Liked it,
Nobody wanted it at all.

Someday We'll Know
90 miles outside Chicago
Can't stop driving I don't know why
So many questions I need some answers
2 years later you're still on my mind
Whatever happened to the Uptown theatre?
Yeah it held the stars up in the sky
Is true love just once in a lifetime?
Did the captain of the Titanic cry
Someday we'll know
Why love can't move mountain
Someday we'll know
Why the sky is blue
Someday we'll know
Why I wasn't there for you
Does anybody know the way to Atlantis?
Or what the wind says when she cries
I'm speeding by the place where I met you
For the 97th time
(Chorus)
Someday we'll know
Why love can't move a mountain
Someday we'll know
Why the sky is blue
Someday we'll know
Why I wasn't there for you
Someday we'll know
If love is do or die for
Someday we'll know
Why it died so soon
Someday we'll know
Why I wasn't there for you
I bought a ticket back to where I came from
I watched my past crash in the sea
If I could ask you just one question
Why aren't you here with me?
(chorus)
Someday we'll know
Why love can't move a mountain
Someday we'll know
Why the sky is blue
Someday we'll know
Why I wasn't there for you
Someday we'll know
If love is do or die for
Someday we'll know
Why it died so soon
Someday we'll know
Why I wasn't there for you
Someday we'll know
Someday we'll know
Someday we'll know
Someday we'll know
Someday we'll know
Someday we'll know
Someday we'll know
Someday we'll know
Someday we'll know
Someday we'll know
Someday we'll know

It Was How I Remember And That’s Not How It Was
It may have been Classic, yet not elegant
It may have been Love, yet not romantic
It may have been hidden, yet not unforeseen
Yet none came to you
It was my brother’s irreplaceable companion and his little sister
It was my brother’s incredulity and his greatest suspicion
It was my brother’s settlement and his authorization
Yet none came to you
It wasn’t my dream and it wasn’t my fantasy
It wasn’t my concern and it wasn’t my guarantee
It wasn’t my content and it wasn’t my sorrow
It may have been my mother’s hope, yet not her premonition
And now its my animosity
Strickly Love
And sometimes I wish this wasn't,
Strickly love...
I have,
Since it's...
Only love,
I have...
Only shown.
And it's,
Strickly love...
Some,
Can not give.
And sometimes I wish this wasn't,
Strickly love...
I have,
But it's...
Only love,
I have,
Ever known.
And it's,
Strickly love...
Some,
Will never know.
And sometimes I wish this wasn't,
Strickly love...
I have,
But it's...
Only love,
I have...
Let to grow.
And it's hard...
When others resist it,
And this hurts me so.
Knowing how strick,
Love is...
Within me.
To be...
As is.
Strickly love to be,
As is.
Strickly love,
To be...
As is!

Child In Your Arms
Child in your arms
Will always love you
Child in your arms
Will always love you
I know it's hard to understand
Why I was taken from your hands
One day we'll meet again
Mother and father hand in hand
Child in your arms
Will always love you
Child in your arms
Will always love you
Pick a star in the sky
And see the twinkle in my eye
As I send you my love
From heavens above
Child in your arms
Will always love you
Child in your arms
Will always love you
All the new mothers above
Giving their love
To the new born child
In heavens above
Mother father watch over me
And jesus will watch over you
I feel your love in heavens above
I'll see you here
When it's your time to come
Child in your arms
Will always love you
Child in your arms
Will always love you
Oh mummy dear
I see you and daddy so near
My life as just begun
In heavens above
So don't be afraid to live your life
Be glad and happy to what comes to you
I'll keep you safe as I watch over you
Child in your arms
Will always love you
Child in your arms
Will always love you
Sweet child in heaven
Sleep in peace
I hope you see all you want to see
Be who you want to be
God bless

Shake Your Love
Chorus:
Shake your love
I just cant shake your love
Shake your love
I just cant shake your love
Shake your love
I just cant shake...
Shake your love
I just cant shake your love
Verse 1:
Im under a spell again
Boy Im wondering why
This is not a game of love but an emotional tie
Im trying to figure out my heart (heart...)
But I cant offer you proof
Of why we should never be apart
And that is the (that is the) that is the truth
Oh...
Chorus:
Shake your love
I just cant shake your love
Shake your love
I just cant shake your love
Shake your love
I just cant shake your love
Shake your love
I just cant shake your love
Verse 2:
Do you know why I stop and stare
And smile when you walk by
And how I call you up at night
I hang up the phone and I cry
If I never got to know you so well (I knew you well)
Maybe I would be fine
Baby you know that I cant tell
Why you should be (you should be) you should be mine oh
Chorus:
Shake your love
I just cant shake your love
Shake your love
I just cant shake your love
Shake your love
I just cant shake...
Shake your love
I just cant shake your love
Bridge:
Ooh I know what youre thinking
I see it in your eyes
You want to give our love another try
Im so glad you realize I cant...
Chorus:
Shake your love
I just cant shake your love
Shake your love
I just cant shake your love
Shake your love
I just cant shake your love
Shake your love
I just cant shake your love

Cant shake
Just cant shake your love
Chorus:
Shake your love
I just cant shake your love
Shake your love
I just cant shake your love
Shake your love
I just cant shake...
Shake your love
I just cant shake your love
Shake your love
Shake your love
I just cant shake your love
Shake your love
I just cant shake..(say shake it)

I Love You God
I Love You God
And
How dare me
How dare me
Love You God
And You are so Great
You are so Great
And I am so tiny
And I am small
But
I am in Love
With You Love
And Your Love is Great
Your Love is Great
And nothing I can do
Nothing I can do
Except
Love You God
Love You Great
Love You Love
LOve You Great Love
Very Great
But tiny on my part
Great Love is tiny
In Your Great Kingdom
Great
So
Great!

Ride A Black Swan
A black swan rode me into my place of destiny
To love, to feel so madly
Stubborn to disagree
With people who think that life is just a memory
To be denied
Ill take this picture for ages
Of just you and i
As the world goes round
Its got me thinking
That the things I want
Just keep me sinking down
A white horse picks my dreams up
To take my hopes to god
My prayers have nestled brightly
To dim my sense of awe
I want you to be someone I cant deny
A house of fire
I want you to be something I realize
As the world goes round
Its got me thinking
That the things I want
Just keep me sinking down
As the world goes round
Its got me thinking
That the things I want
Will keep me sinking down
Remove my spirit from darkness
Love become my heaven
As the world goes round with our love
I want you to be my message
I want you to be my friend
I want you to be that answer
An answer I must defend
I want us to solve our distrust of everyone
And trust in god
I want us to solve our distrust of who we are
As the world goes round
Its got me thinking
That the things I want
Just keep me sinking down
As the world goes round
Its got me thinking
That the things I want
Just keep me sinking down
As the world goes round with our love
As the world goes round with our love

Answers
I kept my answers small and kept them near;
Big questions bruised my mind but still I let
Small answers be a bullwark to my fear.
The huge abstractions I kept from the light;
Small things I handled and caressed and loved.
I let the stars assume the whole of night.
But the big answers clamoured to be moved Into my life. Their great audacity
Shouted to be acknowledged and believed.
Even when all small answers build up to
Protection of my spirit, still I hear
Big answers striving for their overthrow.
And all the great conclusions coming near.

The night we shared
One night my woman came with me,
To my house she came for we decided it was time,
To share our love ever so more in the dark why not,
In the coolness, the breeze, in the night,
So we made love behind a rock last night,
It wasn't called for it wasn't expected,
Our love just couldn't control us and we acted,
We looked at each other so hard into the night,
I looked at the one I wasn't to be with for the rest of my life,
And so I thank that night for all it has brought me from that night,
Now we're married and love each other more,
And every night we go back,
To that night we had so long ago behind that rock.
