God's eyes open-
a generation lives;
God's eyes close-
it dies.
Poor God cannot decide
how He likes His eyes better:
open or closed.

Open Eyes
May the memories not be forgot
May we never lose our mind
May no one tamper with our thoughts
For the sake of open eyes
For open eyes my dear
For open eyes
We will not drink to blindness dear
Well drink to open eyes!
The mindless cretin on parade
They may fill our lives with fear
Should we forgive and look away
Well perhaps, but not this year!
For open eyes my dear
For open eyes
We will not drink to blindness deat
Well drink to open eyes
Our enemies may come on strong
They may try to break our will
Should we forgive and look away
Just before we spring to kill!
For open eyes my dear
For open eyes
We will not drink to blindness dear

Open Your Eyes You Can Fly
Intro - speakout
Never be afraid to love
Never be afraid to just be
Just cast away the chains of doubt
Have the courage to be free
Dont cloud your rise with fathers lies
See only what you want to see
To stuplicate the simple truth
Have the courage to be free
Open your eyes you can fly
Open your eyes you can fly
You can fly (uh uh)
You can fly
Never be afraid to love (no, no, no...)
Never be afraid to just be
Cast away the chains of doubt
Have the courage to be free
Open your eyes you can fly (fly away)
Open your eyes you can fly
You can fly (fly, fly, fly)
Open your eyes (yeah) you can fly (fly away)
Open your eyes you can fly
You can fly (mhh)
You can fly (fly away mhhm)
Speakout:
Remember,
You cant wait for others to applaud what you do
So just congratulate youself
And start something new
Open your eyes you can fly (open your eyes)
Open your eyes you can fly (you can fly with me)
You can fly (fly)
Open your eyes (eyes) you can fly (baby yeah)
Open your eyes (fly away with never) you can fly (fly away with never)
You can fly
You can fly (mhh fly away way way)
Open your eyes (open your eyes) you can fly
Open your eyes (baby) you can fly
You can fly (no open this)
Open your eyes

Eyes Wide Open
Your eyes are wide open, but yet you don’t see
All the love I have inside of me.
Eyes wide open, but you don’t look around
You don’t open your ears, you don’t hear a sound.
Eyes wide open but the beauties that surround you
Do not seem to exist.
Is it that your eyes on you are playing tricks?
Eyes wide open and yet you have a blank stare.
Have you closed off your mind?
Or you just don’t care.
What can I do to remove that haze
So that on my face you can gaze.
If I hold you tenderly in my arms
And kiss those beautiful eyes.
Will they move? Will they cry?
What must I do so that you can see
That our love was meant to be.
They say that you went deep inside yourself
To hide the hurt and pain
But without your love “ I am the same”.
Eyes wide open. Did they just glance at me?
Is it because your heart is finally free?
I see a tear forming in your eyes
Emotions being let out that you tried to hide.
Eyes wide open- now they are mine
I can see your love for the very first time.

I dream with my eyes open
I dream with my eyes open
Of the life I wish to live
And myself, I must believe
I dream with my eyes open
For the lover far away
Whose words of love, with my heart do play
I dream with my eyes open
Of journeying well on this path
‘Though stones and thorns will scrape o’er some parts
I dream with my eyes open
To walk under a benevolent sun
Feeling warm and mellow
I dream with my eyes open
To find the reason I’m here
And in that call, relish every day, my dear
I dream with my eyes open
That when its time to go
I bid adieu, when I’ve done what I had to here

Open your eyes
Open your eyes
Why wont you open your eyes?
Cant you see the pain Im in?
Or is it you wont see?
Are you really that blind?
Just open your eyes.
Then you'll see.
You'll see the creature.
The creature in distress.
Who is one hell of a mess.
Please open your eyes.
Use them wisley.
Please help me.
Why cant you see?
Surely you can see this person.
Who is in deep peril.
Open your eyes.
Dont be so blind.
Please open your eyes.
Open them and help me.

Do You Close Your Eyes
Oh na na na na
Mystery in me is something I cant see
But I see you very well
You slippy, cool, nobodys fool
But theres something inside I cant tell
I know a poor man, a rich man
I know I can talk to a king
But nobody here is gonna tell me
I cant find out one thing
I see your glow around you
Open your arms cause Im walking to you, come straight or through
Maybe Im wrong but I know it wont take long to see
Do you close your eyes
Do you close your eyes
Do you close your eyes when you making love, yeah, yeah
Making sweet love to me, yeah
The logical friend said that I know in the end
The things that make me smile
To right from the start, I take the image of your heart
And know it all the while
I know a rich man, a poor man
I know I can talk to a king, yeah
So nobody here is gonna make me believe
I cant find out one thing
I see your glow around you
Open your arms cause Im coming, running, straight or through
I could be wrong but I know it wont take long to see
Do you close your eyes
Do you close your eyes
Do you close your eyes when you making love, yeah
Do you close your eyes
Do you close your eyes, Ive gotta know
Do you close your eyes when you making love

Welcome Home
I go outside to find the middle of nowhere
Everyone needs their own empty stage
Just like the sky with no beginning or ending
I like reading a book without a last page
Stop and turn around
And say it with your eyes closed
You don't need to welcome me home
Stop, turn around
Try looking with your eyes wide open
As we live our lives through a series of glances
And you smile without smiling for a whole another year
I think we need a little bit more understanding
I think the future is already here
So I won't ask you to
Stop and turn around
And say it with your eyes closed
You don't need to welcome me home
Stop, turn around
Try looking with your eyes wide open
Welcome home
Welcome home

Venus Man Trap
Waiting for opportunity to strike
I have been your biggest fan
What a tour
A little blow to cure your fright
Its what it takes to trap a man
Water me
I am not a desert plant
And there was life before you
When I close
Will I wear my blue eyes when I open this time?
When I close
Or should I wear my green eyes when I open that shine?
And shine in my room underneath the microscope
I remember how it felt
I thought you knew I was always full of hope
But you could only help yourself
When I close
Will I wear my blue eyes when I open this time?
When I close
Or should I wear my green eyes when I open that shine and shine

The First Kiss Of The Day
We wake in each others arms
As we've been doing since you moved in
Your blue eyes open, close, open again
Then you kiss me, the first kiss of the day
Some mornings, I wake first
And I just lay there, looking at you
Even sound asleep, you're beautiful
And I think, I'm one lucky guy
Then I decide to kiss you awake
Starting ever so gently on your forehead
Kissing downward, your closed eyes, your cheeks
And finally, I reach your luscious lips
Applying a little more pressure, I kiss you
Once, twice, three times and more
Awake, you start kissing me back
And with your kiss, the day begins

Open Up Your Eyes
Choosing stones...
Big enough to drag me down
Where I am...
People's voice's make hollow sounds
Just be quiet...
They'll go away
Open up your eyes...
Don't let your mind tell the story here
Open up your eyes...
Just let me go
It's so safe...
It's so safe floating in the glass
While above...
While above all your troubles pass
Just be quiet...
They'll go away
Open up your eyes...
Don't let your mind tell the story here
Open up your eyes...
Just let me...
Open up your eyes...
Don't let your mind tell the story here
Open up your eyes...
Just let me go

Tired Eyes
Well he shot four men in a cocaine deal
And he left them lyin in an open field
Full of old cars with bullet holes in the mirrors.
He tried to do his best but he could not.
Please take my advice, please take my advice
Please take my advice.
Open up the tired eyes,
Open up the tired eyes.
Well, it wasnt supposed to go down that way.
But they burned his brother, you know,
And they left him lying in the driveway.
They let him down with nothin.
He tried to do his best but he could not.
Please take my advice, please take my advice
Please take my advice.
Open up the tired eyes,
Open up the tired eyes.
Well tell me more, tell me more, tell me more
I mean was he a heavy doper or was he just a loser?
He was a friend of yours.
What do you mean, he had bullet holes in his mirrors?
He tried to do his best but he could not.
Please take my advice, please take my advice
Please take my advice.
Open up the tired eyes,
Open up the tired eyes.
Please take my advice, please take my advice
Please take my advice.
Open up the tired eyes,
Open up the tired eyes.

When I Close my Eyes
When I close my eyes,
I can see my country,
Shining in the light, bright.
When I close my eyes.
When I close my eyes,
I see the trees,
Green against the skyline.
When I close my eyes.
When I close my eyes,
I see stars shining cross,
The wide beyond.
When I close my eyes.
When I close my eyes,
I see the sunset behind your hair,
Halo shining in the air.
When I close my eyes.
When I close my eyes,
I hear the ocean waves,
Crashing on the shore.
When I close my eyes.
When I close my eyes,
I see the moon glistening,
Through your eyes.
When I close my eyes.

Close Your Eyes
[1933 standard written by Bernice Petkere. Arrangement baed on the Peggy Lee's 1963 recording]
Music play
Something dreamy for dancing
While we're here romancing
It's love's holiday
And Love will be our guide
Close your eyes
When you open them dear
I'll be right hear by your side
So...
Close your eyes
Rest your head on my shoulder and sleep
Close your eyes
And I will close mine
Close your eyes
Let's pretend that we're both counting sheep
Close your eyes
This is divine
Music play
Something dreamy for dancing
While were here romancing
It's love's holiday
And Love will be our guide
Close your eyes
When you open them dear
I'll be near by your side
So won't you close your eyes...

Eyes Wide Open
I'm a fortunate son of a fortunate son
Living large on the wrong side of town
Too many friends and the fun never ends
Drinking and hanging around
I wanna rule the world wanna swallow it whole
At least I could kick it all down
I wanna kick it all down
Eyes wide open I can't see
Eyes wide open what you mean
Eyes wide open I can't seem to be
My eyes wide open I can't see
Eyes wide open what you mean
Eyes wide open I can't seem to be
I don't take the bus and I never walk too far
The furthest I got was my own backyard
With a fist full of cash that somebody else earned
Send me some more when it all got burned
I wanna take control

Eyes Wide Open
Here it comes, here comes another day
Another decision on the way
Well here it comes, here comes a covered display
of preferences to make
Well here it comes, here comes a knock on the door
Open it for an opportunity
Well here it comes, here comes another day
for memories to be made
Eyes wide open
Eyes wide open all the time
'n there it was, it was a perfect take
and were you asleep or awake
There it was, it was a perfect time
to speak your mind
'n there it was, it was a chance of a lifetime
It flew right by and what did you do?
Well there it was, it was another day
for memories to be made
Eyes wide open
Eyes wide open all the time
I've got my eyes wide open
Eyes wide open all the time
Because you never know
what you might see...

Close My Eyes And Count To Ten
(clive westlake)
It isn't the way that you look
And it isn't the way that you talk
It isn't the things that you say or do
Make me want you so
It is nothing to do with the wine
Or the music that's flooding my mind
But never before have i been so sure
You're the someone i dreamed i would find
It's the way you make me feel
The moment i am close to you
It's a feeling so unreal
Somehow i can't believe it's true
The pounding i feel in my heart
The hoping that we'll never part
I can't believe this is really happening to me
I close my eyes and count to ten
And when i open them you're still here
I close my eyes and count again
I can't believe it but you're still here
We were strangers a moment ago
With a few dreams but nothing to show
The world was a place
With a frown on its face
And tomorrow was just, i don't know
But the way you make me feel
The moment i am close to you
Makes today seem so unreal
Somehow i can't believe it's true
Tomorrow will you still be here?
Tomorrow will come but i fear
That what is happening to me
Is only a dream
I close my eyes and count to ten
And when i open them you're still here
I close my eyes and count again
I can't believe it but you're still here
I close my eyes and count to ten
And when i open them you're still here

Regular John
Who are you girl?
Who are you boy?
Bet I know what your up to
Can I come along?
Your home numbers on the wall
I just had to call...had to
I'm not the only one who will
Run with a knife
Open up your eyes
Open up your room
Open up your arms
Third 16th Sunday
2:16 Sunday night
Where's your daddy now?
I heard he went away
Who are you girl?
Cause i'm so bored with myself
Anyway...anytime...anyplace
I just hang around
Open up your eyes
Open up your room
Open up your arms
Third 16th Sunday
2:16 Sunday night
Open up your eyes
Open up your room
Open up your arms
Open up your door
Open up your eyes
Open up your room
Open up your arms

Open Your Eyes
You want what you deserve
but it's right in front of you
You want something better
than any other
You don't even bother
to figure what it is
that you think you deserve
You'll find it all one day
but not this way.
Open your eyes,
your heart will follow
Open your eyes,
see what you've been missing
Open your eyes,
and find the answer
I can't take anymore,
have you ever asked yourself,
what am I looking for?
You're indesisive
You are just another caught up in all of this
plastic glamerous world
You'll never see
who you could be
Open your eyes,
you're heart will follow
Open your eyes,
see what you've been missing
Open your eyes,
and find the answer
Your world is waiting, anticipating,
your time is fading,
if you never open your eyes
If only you could see,
that there is something you can do,
to make this better
Open your eyes,
your heart will follow
Open your eyes,
see what you've been missing
Open your eyes,
and find the answer
You're world is waiting, anticipating,
but your time is fading,
if you never open your eyes

Sing This All Together
Why don't we sing this song all together
Open our heads let the pictures come
And if we close all our eyes together
Then we will see where we all come from
Pictures of us through the steamy haze
Picture of us painted in our place
Why don't we sing this song all together
Open our heads let the pictures come
And if we close all our eyes together
Then we will see where we all come from
Why don't we sing this song all together
Open our heads let the pictures come
And if we close all our eyes together
Then we will see where we all come from
Pictures of us beating on our drum
Never stopping til the rain has come
Why don't we sing this song all together
Open our heads let the pictures come
And if we close all our eyes together
Then we will see where we all come from

When We Close Our Eyes
When we close our eyes
And pretend all is well,
We condone the lies
That our leaders tell.
When we fail to see
What goes on around us,
We may lose liberty
And not make a fuss.
When we close our eyes
Accept things as Chance,
Our humanity dies -
We lose our Substance.
A time to be silent
And a time to speak,
Wrong must be bent -
It's not work for the Meek.
To make a firm stand
One must open his eyes
Assess things at hand
For what's Right, he cries.
We pray Good will arise
In whatever we write,
When we close our eyes
We know we have done right.
