Mother
At first I opened my eyes and found,
A smiling, attractive and beautiful face,
Seeing her I paused my crying sound,
And began to flow on love's surface.
She empowered my body that was mild,
And for me careful by day and night,
Being suffered yet she for me smiled,
And bestowed me pleasure in every plight.
The latest and sweetest gift from heaven,
The idol of love and figure of mercy,
Like a kindness plant, flowers laden,
Whose fragrance has bestowed me decency.
I love paradise and wish to achieve,
And appreciate it more than any other,
Cause it is said and as I believe,
Paradise touches the feet of my mother.

Paradise
Hm, hm
Hm, hm, hm, hm
Just like a welcome fire
That comes in the cold
You make my heart warm
And a little more love is born
And i'm caught up once again on you
Soft as a rose, your tenderness glows
But you're so strong
And i know i'm gonna love you long
Well, crazy maybe
But i've seen paradise
Here in your eyes
I'm in seventh heaven
Ooh, there's nothing quite
Like spending your life
With a special someone
It feels so right
When the lights are out
And i'm in the dark
I'm not afraid, no
Long as i can get a piece of your heart
And the wind sighs
I love you
Specially when we touch
I need it so much
And i'm glad that we found love
Let the record show that i know that i've
Seen paradise here in your eyes
I'm in seventh heaven
Ooh, there's nothing quite
Like spending your life
With a special someone
It feels so right
Hmm, ooh (paradise)
Hey, i'm in para, para-dise, yeah
I'm in paradise, you know
You know that i like, you know that i like
You know that i like to be in paradise
(paradise) i'm in paradise
And for those who think that there's no such thing
As eternity, they should take a look at you and me
We have got the perfect harmony
Specially when we touch
You know i need it, oh, so much
I'm in heaven specially when i'm with you, hey
I'm in paradise (paradise)
I'm in paradise, paradise and a
Here in your life
Here in your eyes (paradise)
Oh really, i'm in paradise
You know that i like, you know that i like
You know that i like to be in paradise
(paradise) i wanna move with you
I wanna groove you, baby
With me, with me in paradise
I said i'm in paradise
Ooh, ooh, hoo (paradise)
Yeah, to be in paradise with you and me
To be enough, paradise here in your eyes
Woh, woh, woh, woh, woh
You that i like, you know that i like
You know that i like, you know that i like
You know that i like
You know that i like, i like
I like to be in paradise
Spending my life, spending my life
Spending my life, spending my life
Spending all my life with you
Here in paradise, wooh

Paradise
Could it be the little
Things you do to me
Feelings that I'm feeling
Are so new to me
I'm going through
So many changes
Nothing ever felt
As strange as
How my heart goes
Crazy when you
Look at me-oh
[CHORUS:]
When I'm with you
Its paradise
No place on Earth
Could be so nice
Through the crystal waterfalls
I hear you call
Just take my hand
Its paradise
You kiss me once
I'll kiss you twice
And as I gaze
Into your eyes
I realise its paradise
Now I know the
Sweetest dreams can
All come true
'Cause I found Heaven
Here on earth
When I found you
Its nothing I could
Ever make up
How I hope
I never wake up
Just to find this
Isn't true reality
[Repeat chorus]
The world around just
Disappears without a trace
Telling me that I have
Found the perfect place
Let it stay this way forever
Deep in love and may
I never
Spend another day
Without you close to me
Ooh paradise
Yeah
Oh just take my hand
Its paradise
You kiss me once
I'll kiss you twice
And as I gaze
Into your eyes
I realise its paradise
[Repeat chorus]
Ooh paradise

Ode To Teacher
I opened my eyes and found a teacher,
When I was an infant not a child,
Nobody else, but that was my mother,
Who empowered my body that was mild,
Taught to be restless till achieving goal,
Her teachings showed me how to talk,
And how to pacify an uncomfort soul,
And holding father's finger, I leant to walk.
In this running life there is a person,
Like us, circumstances does he face,
But shows the way that perfect one,
And his thoughts soar near blue surface,
His torch is knowledge and he leads the way,
The whole universe in his eyes we see,
Who makes us valuable like potter to lie clay,
An ocean is he, and a few drops are we.
A worthy teacher is like a shelter,
That he saves us from the pathos,
And his magic voice does our way alter,
Where we find only rose and rose.
More splendid seat if we achieve,
Or attain much higher status,
He praises us but doesn't grieve,
He is glad on our success and pat us.
His love and kindness I can't measure,
Like limitless sky and countless stars,
For his pupil he sacrifices his pleasure,
Like themselves soldiers in the wars,
Sun like my teachers in the sky does shine,
And we're standing in the single line,
To be inspired by his knowledge rays,
Which lead us to our successful ways.

How Are Things In Paradise
Orbison/melson
How are things in paradise since you found a new romance?
Oh, how are things in paradise are you glad that you stood a chance?
Oh, how are things in paradise?
Do you miss me?
Do you ever cry?
Does he try to hold you like I used to do?
Are the stars still in your eyes?
How are things in paradise?
Uh, does he take you hand and whisper I love you?
Oh, dont you know that I love you too?
Is there sunshine or rain?
Are you coming home again?
Oh, how are things in paradise?
How are things in paradise?
How are things in paradise since you said goodbye?

Almost Paradise
I thought that dreams belonged to other men
'Cause each time I got close
They'd fall apart again
I feared my heart would beat in secrecy
I faced the nights alone
Oh, how could I have known
That all my life I only needed you?
Whoa
Almost paradise
We're knockin' on heaven's door
Almost paradise
How could we ask for more?
I swear that I can see forever in your eyes
Paradise
It seems like perfect love's so hard to find
I'd almost given up
You must have read my mind
And all these dreams I saved for a rainy day
They're finally coming true
I'll share them all with you
'Cause now we hold the future in our hands
Whoa
Almost paradise
We're knockin' on heaven's door
Almost paradise
How could we ask for more?
I swear that I can see forever in your eyes
Paradise
And in your arms salvation's not so far away
It's getting closer
Closer every day
It's almost paradise
We're knockin' on heaven's door
Almost paradise
How could we ask for more?
I swear that I can see forever in your eyes
Paradise
Whoa
Almost paradise
We're knockin' on heaven's door
Almost paradise
How could we ask for more?
I swear that I can see forever in your eyes

Future Love Paradise
But if only you could see them
You would know from their faces
There were kings and queens
Followed by princes and princesses
There were future power people
From the loved to the loveless
Shining a light 'cause they wanted it seen
Well there were cries of why
Followed by cries of why not
Can I
Reach out for you if that feels good to me
And the riders will not stop us
'Cause the only love they'll find is paradise
No the riders will not stop us
'Cause the only love they'll find is paradise
Paradise yeah
Don't you know that racism in among future kings
Can only lead to no good
to no good
Besides your sons and daughters
already know how that feels
One day (One day)
All the queens will gather round
Spreading love and unity so it can be found
Well then all the riders say it's all to do with drugs
Well inject me
With your love
Inject me with your love alright
And the riders will not stop us
'Cause the only drug they'll find is paradise
Future love paradise
No the riders will not stop us
'Cause the only love they'll find is paradise
Future love paradise
No the riders will not stop us
paradise
The only love they'll find is paradise
Paradise yea
Love paradise
One in and out is gonna make you feel good
paradise
Coming at you like a hurricane would
paradise
Stay close to me I'll always be by your side
Save paradise
Save it baby you know that it's all right
You remind me of a girl I knew paradise
So beautiful once inside you
paradise
You make me feel like I need your love love love
Want to fill me with your love
Fix me with your love all right
And the riders will not stop us
'Cause the only love they'll find is paradise
is paradise
Future love paradise
No the riders will not stop us
'Cause the only drug they'll find is paradise
Oh we'll belivin' in a paradise
The riders will not stop us
'cause the only love they'll find is paradise
Future love paradise
They will never make you feel surely
Like you've felt never felt before I'll
Give myself
To you
And if you change your mind
I'll do anything
Just to make the world peaceful
Just to make life wonderful
I will drown all your sorrows
In a future love paradise
Future love paradise
Future love paradise
They will never make you feel surely
Like you've never felt before
I'll
give myself

Private Girl
I am the private girl that you are looking for,
And i am very sweet and beautiful!
But i have the tears of love within me,
Because i am lonely without a lover.
The gift of life,
And the gentle tenderness of the muse;
For you will be my sweetest thing when,
You do call on me tonight.
I am hungry for love and,
Of the beautiful blessings bestowed on you;
For you are like the herb's bearing seed within me.
You are very friendly and amusing,
And i am very lonely and waiting;
For i am the private girl next door but,
With sparkling beautiful eyes to touch your heart.

Stumbling Through Your Paradise
Stumbling through your paradise,
With eyes not opened wide enough.
I wanted to believe,
You would find paradise in me.
Stumbling through your paradise,
What is it from me needed?
Since what appears to me,
Are dreams come true successfully...
For you.
'Have you not been in my dreams?
Have I not shared them with you?
Have you not been in my dreams?
What is it you wish me to prove?
Love? '
Stumbling through your paradise,
With eyes not opened wide enough.
I wanted to believe,
You would find paradise in me.
'I did not need you!
I wanted you.
And wanted you to feel the same.
If it is paradise with me you see...
It is because of you,
That view is there as it is seen.'
Stumbling through your paradise,
With eyes not opened wide enough.
I wanted to believe,
You would find paradise in me.
'No paradise alone can one see.
Lose conceit.
No more stumbling then will you greet.
If with me you believe you should be.
Lose conceit, lose conceit.'

Paradise
Written by dennis deyoung
Lead vocals by dennis deyoung
One touch was all I needed to know
You were the one for me
My fate and my destiny
You smiled and all at once I could see
Id found a love so true
That I could give all to you
And suddenly I realized
That all the fortune and fame
Cant compare to the sound of your voice
Whenever you speak my name
Paradise is anyplace where I can be with you
Leave behind the heartache and the pain that Ive been through
Safe in your arms
Safe in the world tonight
For you are my paradise
My heart was broken so many times
I couldnt imagine when
Id ever love again
But every time I look at you
I know that Ive been blessed
For Im sure Ive found heaven on earth
Each time I feel your caress
cause paradise is anyplace where I can be with you
Leave behind the heartache and the pain that Ive been through
Safe in your arms
Safe in the world tonight
For you are my paradise
And all at once I realized
That all the fortune and fame
Cant compare to the sound of your voice
Whenever you call my name
cause paradise is anyplace where I can be with you
And leave behind the heartache and the pain that Ive been through
Im safe in your arms
Safe in the world tonight
For you are my paradise

So Close, Yet So Far
(words & music by joy byers)
So close, yet so far from paradise
I hold, you in my arms, in paradise
Is mine, then you slip away
Like a child at play, and here am i
So close, yet so far from paradise
When you, are close to me, it's paradise
We kiss, oh my love, paradise
Is mine, then suddenly you're gone from me
Like a floating star, i see, and here am i
So close, yet so far from paradise
I reach out for you, but each time i do
I always find you gone
I know love is new, i'll take care of you
In my arms is where you belong
Just, a step away, are we from paradise
Take my hand, come away, to paradise
My love, i want you close to me
I need you desperately, oh here am i
Waiting for you
Here am i
Praying for you
Here am i, so close, yet so far from paradise

Youre So Beautiful
This song appears on three albums, and was first released on the john denver album, and has also been released on the reflections and the country roads collection albums.
Born on a quiet morning
Just a dream in someones eyes
A dream thats like a promise meant to be
Giving rise to speculation
On a place called paradise
If Ive ever been there
Its when you were with me
Youre so beautiful
I cant believe your eyes
Each time I see you again
Youre so beautiful
That Im in paradise
Each time I see you again
I remember some hidden valley
Where the skies are never still
And alpine meadows burn in the evening light
I remember the path to glory
And the way around the hill
I remember true loves eyes
Shining in the night
Youre so beautiful
I cant believe your eyes
Each time I see you again
Youre so beautiful
That Im in paradise
Each time I see you again
And if paradise is everything you see
Then the place you must be coming from
Is ecstasy
Youre so beautiful
I cant believe your eyes
Each time I see you again
Youre so beautiful
That Im in paradise
Each time I see you again
Just want to see you again
I want to be with you again
I just need to love you again
Just wanna touch you again
I just need to love you again
I want to be with you again

Heavenly Flight
Born again into the heaven's free
With my love and only love
Listlessly laying on the clouds with she
In heavenly sky, in heaven above
A paradise for her a paradise for me
Dressed in silvery raiment we both do stare
Into our heavenly eyes
And our souls we share
Our endless love, like endless skies
In the midst of heaven's care
Free as the music of earthly man
We play our songs with no end
Where love is from and love began
We sing music to each other like angels send
Love to one because love we can
Born again born with thee
Our souls do take heavenly flight
Into a heaven, where we can be
Both light, dark, and twilight
Overlooking our home, our vast sea
Beauty and heaven and what's truly free

Paradise
Let me tell you this
Your love I can't resist
I just start to fantasize
Every time I look into your eyes
I want to laugh and talk
And say the words you long to hear
I want to fill you up with so much love
The real world will just disappear
Chorus: let me take you to a place I call paradise
Hold you in my arms every day and night
Tell you all the things that I really feel
Show you that my love is for real
Let me take you to paradise
Take you to paradise
Let me be your guide
On a magic carpet ride
To a place where love is pure
And our passions can endure
I want you to close your eyes and realize
A world for two
I want you to hear me whisper in your ear
I want to make love to you
Let me take you to a place I call paradise
Hold you in my arms every day and night
Tell you all the things that I really feel
Show you that my love is for real
Let me take you to paradise
Take you to paradise
Do you want to go?
Don't? you want to know?
About a real love
Give me just some time
You'll like what you find
I know
It's so plain to me
We were meant to be
I want to show you baby
We'll unlock all of life's Mysteries
And realize how great our love can really be
Let me take you to paradise

You Are 'Bestowed' the Blessings
Remember this...
To you are bestowed the blessings.
Gifts given to which through you flow.
Those blessings are for you to share.
Your presence 'is' a blessing.
However...
Your wish to be worshipped,
As if you are The Creator...
Of the light that glows.
Is not the way it works.
Or the way it goes.
To you are 'bestowed' the blessings.
The Creator provides,
Those blessings to be bestowed.
The Creator,
Provides...
Those blessings,
To be bestowed.
Remember this...
You are 'bestowed' the blessings.
To assist.
Not create to provide.
Many get this twisted.
To stir up for themselves,
Endless conflict.

Belladonna
The ballet's of dancing feet
Are not as delicate, not as sweet
Nimble or soft
As they soul dancing in front of me
My mind aloft
Thine soul deftly
Step in me as thy walk in me
Like my souls the sun
And thy soles burn
No flowers bloom,
No angel's wings spread
No butterflies flower
No baby is conceived
As thou conceive to me
Thine true beauty blooms
Thy wings spread
Thy butterflies flower
As my souls breadth
Grows free with thee
Thy book opens
Its heart to me
For love to read
Thine voice is paradise found
Through you paradise speak
Through you heaven's tears weep
Through you heaven's perfume seep
Through you heaven's love meek
Through you heaven's flower blush
Through heaven's tender cheek
This is grace
This the face
Of love's turning dial
Of my love's smile

My mother’s lap
I opened my eyes
I found myself
In my mother’s lap
I cried, I played,
Laughed and smiled
In my mother’s lap
I grew older
But it was still mine
When tired, to rest
I climbed in the lap
When shy,
I hid my face
When hungry
She fed me in her lap
When sleepy
I used it as a bed
Warm and secure
Full of love
It was the coziest place
I could have
I am an old man
But never forget
The luxury
Of my mother’s lap
The most precious
Possession
I ever had
Tears flow from my eyes
Makes me nostalgic
Whenever I remember
My mother’s lap

Is This Heaven?
Walking home with you last night
You said the world is beautiful
And how things look that way when youre in love
I love this world
When Im in your arms
Is this heaven?
I opened up the letter that the
Postman gave to me this morning
Had to stop myself from shouting out
I love this world
When Im in your arms
Is this heaven
When Im in your arms
Is this heaven
I know that heaven waits
For those whose love is true
I want to be there when
The age of love is come again
Tell me all about yourself
And how you came to me like in a dream
And every night I dream of you
I dream of you
When Im in your arms
Is this heaven
When Im in your arms
Is this heaven
I know that heaven waits
For those whose love is true
I want to be there when
The age of love is come again
I sit and watch the sun go down
And in the darkness theres no sound
While in the sky tonight the stars all cry I love you
Are they crying out over you
cos youre in my heart
Is this heaven?
cos the story starts and ends with you

Ode To Woman
Adam and Eve were allowed to live in Eden,
And were permitted enjoying all its benedictions,
But, eating the fruit of a tree was forbidden,
God knew their all and bad intentions,
Satan instigated to eat the fruit of that forbidden tree,
Adam denied forcely but Eve accepted with gee,
She took that fruit and forced Adam to eat,
And found shortly, they lost their splendid seat.
Acting on a woman's words the first man at last,
Being disobedient of Lord, paradise they lost.
Everybody is unable to find her true mind,
Her charming personality makes to lovers blind,
They lose their all to find her favour and love,
But find her love is still more above,
When one proposes her, she reaches us seven heaven,
Realizes herself prettier than Venus, turns proud,
She flirts him like a faithless or a witch then,
Seeks next prey she wonders and weeps like a cloud.
Entices with her chemistry and has no heart at all,
Never lies her love constant, she make all enthrall.
O! Woman is also a mother, full of mercy and grace,
Lies paradise beneath her tender beautiful feet,
And we visit to a pilgrimage when we see her face,
And our fates decorates with the dust of her feet,
Sister, daughter and wife are her embodiments,
Who consoles and encourages when we lose confidence,
Teaches us to face circumstances and touches sentiments,
Being the key of success, she has gotten her existence.
Notwithstanding a tender fellow she bears knights,
Who flow blood river to achieve their rights.
She is taken as a plaything or decoration,
No value she bears in Western Era these days,
She lost her spiritual power and destination,
And taken as amusement where she stays,
Wearing nude dress, she does impress and entice,
And reaching men's society, she does stir and rejoice,
And draws all's attention at her figure and voice.
The queen of home has kicked her throne and crown,
Lost her boaty veil so now she is going to drown.
The women's society seems an oyster sea,
And obtaining a shell we dive deep in it,
After a great efforts, we find a she,
But shock badly, seeing pearl is not in it,
She is jealous of her gender of one is more nice,
And backbiting seems her by birth right,
Impossible if four girls and produce no voice,
She is selfish and beauty is her might.
If one feels me boasting and tells me wrong,
That dear should prove this, I'll leave writing song.

Heaven Tonight
Lost in a dream in the arms of the night
Two lonely prisoners of our own device
Don't let me go, Hold on Together
you wanna know if love can be real
I wanna take everything I can steal
love on the line, it's now or never
Why can't the night last forever
*Chorus*
This could be Paradise
Holding you here by my side
if we just close our eyes
we'll be in Heaven Tonight
Run through the night down streets of desire
Burning my soul, my heart's on fire
Give up the fight, it's sweet surrender
with trembling hands we reach for it all
two desperate Hearts waiting to fall
I need you now, now more than ever
Why can't the night last forever
*Chorus*
This could be Paradise
Holding you here by my side
if we just close our eyes
we'll be in Heaven Tonight
This feels like Paradise
I see the world in our eyes
if we just hold on tight
we'll be in Heaven Tonight
