Innocence costs nothing,
It's a gift from God,
It's the prelude to beauty,
It's not strained,
It's spontaneous,
It lies in a loving heart,
It's glow is felt on the visage,
Here its impact is complete,
And it has taken the shape of a picture.

Portrait of a heart
Portrait of a heart
~
A portrait piece by piece
built through the heart
presents a romantic world
memories tell a moving tale
the full beauty of a loving heart
where the artist knows no end
and feels the strain of pride
still the picture takes its shape
to present a landscape of a life
touched by the words of love
scarred by the losses felt
the heart speaks and draws
from the uncharted depths
there in the eye of its picture
a romance reveals
a portrait of a world
built through the heart

Young Love
Young love, that lays at your feet
is flamboyant yet is not complete.
For it has not felt the pain
of love itself when the rain
washes over the rush of primeval calls
that leave you with ups and then the pitfalls.
Little does it know of long endured years.
Little does it know of deep felt tears
that tear at the heart of every lover
that comes to them and seems to cover
all aspects of what older love's about.
Young love is born and has no doubt.
Young love's a beginning that shows its face.
Its innocence is a feeling of grace.
For it only knows the instant glow
that accompanies the attraction and the flow
as it creates a beating in the heart
that to young lovers will never depart.
But young love can never stay young you know.
It will either die or it will grow
into a comfortable and wondrous gift
giving the two a constant lift
to soothe out the lows and create the highs
that brings back young love that never dies.

The Beauty
Beauty is the bliss
Contained in Five letters
Timeless Infinite;
In feasting the eyes
Harmonious and melodious
To the ears
And in the sweet heart
Which lies behind these Joys;
In the nature
The greenery, the rivers and mountains
The flora and fauna
The full moon
Lies beauty In the union of the hearts
And in the intoxication it creates;
and in their separation
pain and hurt Is present beauty
When we get what we desired
And Also retaining that which we got
Lies beauty In prettiness,
in loving hearts In youthfulness,
in charm In naivety of girls
and their aesthetic sensuality
Are all beauty to beauty
Also the heart which is melt in
and burnt
In deep sorrow and insult
And in their experience
And in their liking;
Lies the trait of beauty

A Gift From Me To You
I am sending you all
a gift for Christmas.
The gift isn’t big at all,
but when it blossoms,
it is the biggest gift of all.
It comes with love and hugs
that are just for you to keep
for a rainy day
to chase the blues away.
You won’t see the gift
as it is invisible to see,
but you will know its there
and everyone will see.
You see the gift
I am giving you for Christmas
is something from the heart.
It is too big
to fit in any box.
The gift is the gift of friendship,
the most precious treasure
I can give,
it comes from a loving heart
for as long as I may live.
So please accept my gift
as it comes from me to you.

Beauty of a Woman
The beauty of a woman lies in her silence
Rather than her speech
The beauty of a woman lies in her patience
Rather than her inquisitiveness outreach
The beauty of a woman lies in her experience
Rather than her age
The beauty of a woman lies in her veil for awhile
Rather than her face
The beauty of a woman lies in her submission
Rather that her dominance
The beauty of a woman lies in her smile
Rather than her laughter
The beauty of a woman lies in her abode
Rather than her adventure
The beauty of a woman lies in her offspring
Rather than herself ever
The beauty of a woman lies in her heart's spring
Rather than in skin cover

A Missing Chapter
Your Deceiving eyes led me wrong
and now I am, were I should not belong
our eyes are passages to our souls they say
every once a while we let ourselves stray
Loving you is fire; appealing to my eyes
and healing to my desires.
It brings pleasure to my heart but to my fingers pain
and to my memory it is smoke, ashes and stains.
Loving you is magic; which slowly disappears.
It is bewilderness in beauty and sweetness in my tears.
It brings pleasure to my heart, which I haven’t felt in years.
but the unresolved equations, remain as souvenirs
loving you is rain; bringing cure to my thirst.
But to my strong structure, it brings shivers and a curse.
Loving is you like flying over the sky's highest cloud,
as peaceful as it seems its dangerous empty and load.
Loving you is a picture I hung now onto my wall
it tells my favorite story which by detail I recall.
Loving you is a secret I tightly withhold.
And in spite of my resistance it still longs to be told.

Love is thee name
Love is thee name
Even wild can be tamed
Such a gift from almighty
It is good luck to dream of divine beauty
Person is lucky to dream it in sleep
No one on earth can afford to skip
Relation can turn soar with little tongue slip
Love is such a weapon to make you sentimental and weep
Love is to taken in broader terms
To love a person is no harm
Even God bless those who long for it
It is always good to wish and greet
Love costs nothing in any form
It keeps relation very warm
Hate finds no place
Always love and no mad race
God showers on those
Who stand with trust to repose?
How God can be indifferent to such persons?
He will always be merciful with solid reasons
It is one way of remaining close to almighty
Since all are like children and it is his duty
To keep you in good shape with care
Else is there any place to somewhere?
Carry the whole world with your attitude
There should be no reason or prelude
It is always recognized and accepted
How can one be indifferent and reject?

Stolen Innocence
Her face is beauty
Yet marred by the pain in her eyes.
The tears she sheds
Fall to the ground
Like liquid diamonds
And shatter there alone.
And I cry for her
Stolen Innocence.
Tis a beautiful thing,
The raw purity of
Innocence in Youthful Bloom.
It's meant to last forever.
Meant to eternally bless those
Endowed with such a gift.
But when choice is stolen
And Beauty turns to Brokenness
I weep for its
Stolen Innocence.

Ageless Beauty for M lady Ernestine
True beauty lies beneath the skin.
It’s not something for surface show.
A quality which lies within
but others can bask in its glow.
Some beauty fades as years pass by.
No matter how hard you may fight
to hide the signs you can’t deny
True beauty shines through ever bright.
True beauty is not visible
but rather something which you feel.
Something which makes you comfortable
the passing years can never steal.
True beauty thinks of others first
and offers love without reserve.
As a cool drink will quench our thirst
it gives us more than we deserve.
True beauty is a quality
which lasts until the day you die.
A precious gift that’s given free
which no amount of cash can buy.
Beauty is skin deep so they say.
Of mere good looks that is quite true.
Youthful prettiness fades away
but inner beauty still shines through.

Because You are Precious more than my Life
From the beauty of Rose,
Which always entice sweet Lovers,
I always try to explore,
Your soul which dwell
Everytime inside my heart.
Of that sweetness that
Beauty of Rose,
Often failed to give
To adorable Lovers,
Is just intaken by me,
By your presence with smiling visage,
And, When you sprawl with
Your head on ma' Lap,
It felt that I am lost in,
Joy of Paradise.
And, when you squabble with me,
Your angry visage looks very awesome,
And after this,
Your amusement on the same,
Relax me same as when fire,
Is being extinguishes by diluge.
In this world of wonders,
I can predict the cost of
Symbol of Love- Taj,
Symbol of Passion- Vinchi's arts, and
Even of Sun and Moon, but
O My Dear!
When It comes your turn,
My leapsing Lips can only utter-
'You are Precious,
Even more than my Life.'

Eighth Wonder
Thy Smile
To Our Loving Daughter
It’s the Eighth Wonder on earth
And the First Wonder elsewhere.
Like a ray of a distant star
Thy smile flashes across our world.
Like a dropp of heavenly shower
It gently touches our souls.
Neither the enigmatic smile of Lisa
Nor the smile of Vinci’s model
Compared unto thy heavenly smile
For thou art God’s Gift with divine features.
Thy eyes do smile too
For they’re the lights of the Heavenly Star.
Thy smile is the handiwork of God,
Thy smile is the medicine to every grieving soul,
Thy smile is the utterance of God
Who dwells in the innocence of babes,
Thy smiling eyes do express Heavenly Light.
Let’s imbibe thy smile and dwell in innocence,
For innocence is beauty born of virtues.

A Hint At What Is Beautiful
poetry in progress
the mouth is the living soul
in an eden of ivory towers
the heart the seat of God
there the rules are laid out
the tongue is the spineless
that can morph into a devil
at the convenience of the dweller
a heart tells no lies
it is the seat of God
and there is the beauty of
beauties, purest of spirit
a chalice filled to the brim
with answers to a million
years of yearnings, for all
the years with an equal number
of ungalvanised answers
if you care to search for its
sacred hints at what is beauty
beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder
and the heart tells no lies
it is the mouth that in all its
clean ivory innocence may morph
into a snake in its own eden
the heart tells no lies
it speaks as soon to its owner
of any intransigence so that he goes
to sleep heavy like adam after his fall,
poorer in the soul and tears brimming all over

The Concrete and the Abstract
The concrete is visible,
the abstract is invisible.
The concrete is the outside,
the abstract is the inside.
The concrete is objective,
the abstract is subjective.
People go on searching for
God in the concrete.
'We would like to see God'
-they say.
But only the concrete can be seen;
the abstract has to be felt.
The concrete can be seen-
with the eyes open,
the abstract has to be seen-
with eyes closed.
God is inside you, as you.
You cannot stand outside God
and see Him;
you can see Him
only from the inside-
by being Him.
If you see a flower,
you can look at it scientifically.
You look at the chemistry of it,
You dissect it and
you come to know
about the components of it.
But something is missed
in that very analysis.
The beauty is missed,
because beauty is not a component.
If you ask the scientist -
'Where is the beauty that was in the flower? ’ he will say-
'That was not there,
it was just an illusion.'
'I have dissected it-
all and all,
and these are the things
that I have found.
These chemicals were there,
this matter was there,
these atoms, these molecules....
but there was no beauty.'
But when the scientist
gives the flower to his wife,
he knows deep within his heart
he is not giving her
something chemical,
He is giving to her
the beauty of the flower.
A poet said -
'Beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder',
But I say it lies in the heart of the lover.
That beauty is not be seen,
it has to be felt,
not from the outside,
but from the inside
by being the flower itself.

The Edge Of Beauty...
wherein lies the edge of beauty?
of true expression?
be there more truth
in a picture of fruit....
or a picture of the eyes
of a starving child?
be there more love
in an ancient picture of Jesus,
or the picture of an addict,
shaking on a stoop?
be there more reality
in numbed words carefully written,
or in the story of the evicted family,
penned in raw blood?
be there more beauty
in a picture of supposed angels,
or in a tasteful nude?
be there more freedom
in a picture of the revolution,
or in a photo of freedom's protesters,
being beaten by cops?
be there more justice
in the books you burned,
or in the ones you actually read?
be there more spirituality
in the religious head turned,
or in the sensual bathed in awe?
be there more god in the silent follower,
or in the one who dares to speak?

What's In Your Heart
True beauty is in the way she laughs
True beauty is in her eyes
True beauty is how she acts
True beauty is inside
True beauty is unseen
True beauty is only felt
True beauty is not mean
True beauty is herself
True beauty can't be cruel
True beauty is bare
True beauty lies within you
True beauty is always there
True Beauty can't be covered with makeup
True beauty means true love
True beauty can't be baked up
True beauty is the flight of a dove
True beauty has no flaws
For True beauty is all that matters after all

Prelude To A Kiss
Duke ellington / irving gordon / irving mills
If you hear a song in blue like a flower crying for the dew
That was my heart serenading you
My prelude to a kiss
If you hear a song that grows from my tender sentimental woes
That was my heart trying to compose
A prelude to a kiss
Though its just a simple melody with nothing fancy, nothing much
You could turn it to a simphony a schubert tune with a gershwin touch
Oh! how my love song gently cries for the tenderness within your eyes
My love is a prelude that never dies
A prelude to a kiss.

Eyes Without A Face
Im all out of hope
One more bad dream could bring a fall
When Im far from home
Dont call me on the phone
To tell me youre alone
Its easy to deceive
Its easy to tease
But hard to get release
Les yeux sans visage eyes without a face
Les yeux sans visage eyes without a face
Les yeux sans visage eyes without a face
Got no human grace your eyes without a face.
I spend so much time
Believing all the lies
To keep the dream alive
Now it makes me sad
It makes me mad at truth
For loving what was you
Les yeux sans visage eyes without a face
Les yeux sans visage eyes without a face
Les yeux sans visage eyes without a face
Got no human grace your eyes without a face.
When you hear the music you make a dip
Into someone elses pocket then make a slip.
Steal a car and go to las vegas oh, the gigolo pool.
Hanging out by the state line,
Turning holy water into wine
Drinkin it down
Im on a bus on a psychedelic trip
Reading murder books tryin to stay hip.
Im thinkin of you youre out there so
Say your prayers.
Say your prayers.
Say your prayers.
Now I close my eyes
And I wonder why
I dont despise
Now all I can do
Is love what was once
So alive and new
But its gone from your eyes
Id better realise
Les yeux sans visage eyes without a face
Les yeux sans visage eyes without a face
Les yeux sans visage eyes without a face
Got no human grace your eyes without a face.
Such a human waste your eyes without a face
And now its getting worse.

A Thing Of Beauty
Staring at nothing
In a dreamy distrait
When she started humming
Her mesmerizing lilt
How many hearts went distraught?
Her eyes like deep ocean blues
Treasure how many lovely clues
Wooing many a craving beau
When she laughed in rejoice
As if stars are showering from skies
Soaked are the relishing Romeos
In an inexplicable rapturous glow
Flaunted is the avenue she ambled
With beauty-battered machismos
Holding their bleeding hearts
Falling one after another at her feet
On their enfeebled knees
Yielding to her stealing allure
God must have strained for eons
To shape this beautiful woman
Few minutes with her I spent
Years after, I still sense her scent
Like an enshrouding bouquet
Whenever I felt my times difficult
She usurped into my thoughts
Like a swirling rivulet
Washing away every hurting gloomy dirt
Sathya…..
