Welcome
To dance to spin
To feel within
To spin around
With wind and ground
To touch to heal
And to reveal
To muse to think
To swim and sink
To sink and swim again
Until there's no more pain
To chant to draw
To draft some more
To paint the body
Out of nobody
To write a spirit
Unwritten seal it
To sit and eat again and again
Until there's no more pain
To make it all a lifelong sum
Welcome

Spin, Spin (New York Remake Version)
So fine, so fine the web you spin,
I come too close and I'm caught again!
In the web of wild design,
I do not know what fate is mine!
All the day sit and spin,
Spin your web and you draw me in.
Spin, spin, spin, spin!
And my daddy said when I was young,
"Beware the web of love, my son,
To be in love is to be insane,
Make an old man groan, a young man pain!"
All the day, sit and spin,
Spin your web and you draw me in.
Spin, spin, spin, spin!
Then I did go and the time did fly,
Many a true love passed me by.
And then you came like a blinding storm,
I landed in your web so warm,
Spin your web and you draw me in.
Spin, spin, spin, spin!
So fine, so fine the web you spin,
I come too close and I'm caught again!
In the web of wild desire,
And I cannot control the fire!
All the day sit and spin,
You spin your web and you draw me in.

Spin, Spin, Spin
Spin, spin, spin
Spin around, spin around
The harlequin dances in a costume of green
Spin around
But under his makeup his age can't be seen
Spin around
But where are you spinnin'
When will you know
That life is for livin'
That it isn't a show?
Spin, spin, spin
Spin around, spin around
You look out on the city from your penthouse so high
Spin around
But your pedestal's your prison and so is your high
Spin around
But where are you spinnin'
When will you know
That life is for livin'
That it isn't a show?
Spin, spin, spin
Spin around, spin around
Your pills are you conscience
They make ev'rything seem all right
Spin around
Take a white one go to sleep
Take a red one to stay up all night
To spin around
But where are you spinnin'
When will you know
That life is for livin'
That it isn't a show?
Spin, spin, spin
Spin around, spin around
Spin, spin, spin
Spin away, spin away
Spin, spin, spin
Spin around, spin around

Spin In The Black Circle
See this needle...a see my hand...
Drop, drop, dropping it down...oh, so gently...
Well here it comes...i touch the plane...
Turn me up...wont turn you away...
Spin, spin...spin the black circle
Spin, spin...spin the black, spin the black...
Spin, spin...spin the black circle
Spin, spin...whoa...
Pull it out...a paper sleeve...
Oh, my joy...only you deserve conceit...
Im so big...a-my whole world...
Id rather you...rather you...than her...
Spin, spin...spin the black circle
Spin, spin...spin the black, spin the black...
Spin, spin...spin the black circle
Spin, spin...whoa...oh...
Youre so warm...oh, the ritual...when I lay down your crooked arm...

Dance Naked
I want you to dance naked
So I can see you
Id like to get to know you
You dont have to act naughty
Spin it round and round
Spin it round and round and round
I want you to dance naked
I promise I wont touch you
I promise to tell no one, no
I want you to dance naked
Spin it round and round
Spin it round and round and round
Spin it round and round
I want you to dance naked
If you like ill join you
I want to enjoy your body
I want to hear all your secrets
I want to know if you like me
As much as I like you
I want you to dance naked
But only if you want to
Spin it round and round
Spin it round and round and round
Spin it round and round
I want you to dance naked
So I can see you
Id like to get to know you
But only if you want to
Spin it round and round
Spin it round and round and round
Spin it round and round
Spin it round and round and round
I want you to dance naked

Rubberband
Jumping into streams of nectar
Falling through these clouds of silver
Reaching for these angels faces
Waking up in fields of feathers
Its tied me up inside its tied me up inside
You spin me around you lift me right off the ground
You twist me around I feel like a rubber band
You spin me around then you wind me back up
Cause I'm your rubber band
Crashing onto cotton wool floors
Breaking my fall if I land short
Wrapped up in these arms of velvet
Drifting in sea of regret
Its tied me up inside its tied me up inside
I've got to pull myself together
Its tied me up inside Its tied me up inside
You spin me around you lift me right off the ground
You twist me around I feel like a rubber band
You spin me around then you wind me back up
Cause I'm your rubber band
I wish I knew what to say but words escape me today
I wish I knew what to say just take away the pain
Jumping into streams of nectar
I've got to pull it back together
Its tied me up inside its tied me up inside
Its tied me up inside its tied me up inside
You spin me around you lift me right off the ground
You twist me around I feel like a rubber band
You spin me around then you wind me back up
Cause I'm your rubber band
You spin me around you lift me right off the ground
You twist me around I feel like a rubber band
You spin me around then you wind me back up
Cause I'm your rubber band

Everything To Everyone
you put yourself in stupid places
yes I think you know it's true
situations where it's easy to look down on you
I think you like the be the victim
i think you like to be in pain
i think you make yourself the victim
almost every single day
you do what you do
you say what you say
you try to be everything to everyone
you know all the right people
you play all the right games
you always try to be
everything to everyone
yeah you do it again
you always do it again
you say they taught you how to read and write
they taught you how to count
i say they taught you how to buy and sell
your own body by the pound
i think you like to be their simple toy
i think you love to play the clown
i think you are blind to the fact
that the hand you hold
is the hand that holds you down
chorus
spin around and fall down
do it again
you stumble and you fall
yeah why won't you ever learn
spin around and fall down
do it again
you stumble and you fall
i wonder if you will ever learn
why won't you ever learn
come on now
do that stupid dance for me
you do what they tell you to do
you say what they say
you try to be
everything to everyone
spin around and fall down
do it again
you stumble and you fall
yeah you do it again
spin around and fall down
do it again
you stumble and you fall...

Hodja
Hodja please show me how to spin now
Hodja please show me how you do it
All the other boys are laughing at me again now
Hodja please show me how you do it
Whenever I talk they dont hear a thing
And everyone laughs when I sing
Hodja, please show me how to spin
I want to do that dance til I forget where I am
So get up out of your bed one more time
Hodja, make me spin
Yeah, teach me to spin like I seen you do
Why dont you make me the envy
Of the kids in school
I know what to wear, I know how to sound
I know about kissing the ground
From every alley in konya
Mevlana sings turn around, turn around
Youve got to spin til your feet leave the
Ground
Hodja, someday soon you will be moving on
So wont you let me be the one
You lay the secret on
And its a 2 4 6 8, take it from the top
Youve got to start me up and dont let me stop

Swim honey swim the beauty surface strokes
Swim the deepest bottom glow
Swim the exists of the drop

Swim the stillness of the lake
Swim the murmurs of the springs

Just pass it by
The wind tide surfing high and low
Wipe wash glide
Across the sky
Move it up upon a down to slow
Spin spin whirls
Hush the sounds too deep
Spin spin girls
And lull yourself to sleep

Swim
This frame of mind
Young hollow man
Said all I've got to say
Done all I can
Won't even try
Won't even show
Don't tell me things
I don't want to know
Swim through me
Make me
More than whole
Come see what I mean
Make me feel secure
And in these days between
When I fall apart
I'd run away but you know
I'm not that smart
These strange ideas
I'll see them through
They've been a part of me
And I know that they're a part of you
And they swim through me
Make me
More than whole
Come see what I mean
Make me feel secure
Swim through me
Make me more than whole
Come see what I mean
Make me feel secure
Swim through me
Make me feel secure
Swim through me
Make me more than whole
Come see what I mean
Make me feel secure

If I Needed You
(townes van zandt)
If I needed you
Would you come to me
Would you come to me
For to ease my pain
If you needed me
I would come to you
I would swim the seas
For to ease your pain
Well the nights forlorn
And the mornings born
And the morning shines
With the lights of love
And youll miss sunrise
If you close your eyes
And that would break
My heart in two
If I needed you
Would you come to me
Would you come to me
For to ease my pain
If you needed me
I would come to you
I would swim the seas
For to ease your pain
Babys with me now
Since I showed her how
To lay
Her lilly
Hand in mine
Who would ill agree
Shes a sight to see
A treasure for
The poor to find
If I needed you
Would you come to me
Would you come to me
For to ease my pain
If you needed me
I would come to you
I would swim the seas
For to ease your pain

Skating Away
Really don't mind if you sit this one out.
My words but a whisper -- your deafness a SHOUT.
I may make you feel but I can't make you think.
Your sperm's in the gutter -- your love's in the sink.
So you ride yourselves over the fields and
you make all your animal deals and
your wise men don't know how it feels to be thick as a brick.
And the sand-castle virtues are all swept away in
the tidal destruction
the moral melee.
The elastic retreat rings the close of play as the last wave uncovers
the newfangled way.
But your new shoes are worn at the heels and
your suntan does rapidly peel and
your wise men don't know how it feels to be thick as a brick.
And the love that I feel is so far away:
I'm a bad dream that I just had today -- and you
shake your head and
say it's a shame.
Spin me back down the years and the days of my youth.
Draw the lace and black curtains and shut out the whole truth.
Spin me down the long ages: let them sing the song.

It's a Fish's Life
Swim fish, swim! swim for your life!
The fisherman's coming you're tea for his wife!
Swim fish, swim! your fastest yet,
You must swim quickly, to avoid his big net!
Swim fish, swim! right out to sea!
For I am a shark waiting, and you're dinner for ME!

Spirit In You
Under your skin theres something beckoning,
Theres something that makes me believe in you.
Behind your eyes, thats where the sacred lies,
You know I need to get through.
Oh here I go again.
Through the undergrowth again;
Feel the earth move, the planets spin
But I cant get through.
Its the spirit in you,
Its the spirit in you,
Its the spirit in you,
That I want to find.
Ive seen your face, the one your mother made.
Now let me see what makes you really move.
I know youre scared, I know its tender there,
Just let me closer let me get through.
O here I go again,
Through the undergrowth again,
Feel the earth move, the planets spin
But I cant get through.
Its the spirit in you,
Its the spirit in you,
Its the spirit in you,
That I want to find.
And when you make me feel
When you make me bleed,
My lucky stars fall down on me.
You know I need to know you,
I need to see,
I need to take ahold of whats underneath.
So close your eyes, close your eyes,
Unlock your mind, unlock your mind,
Throw off the fear, and let us fly.
O here I go again,
Through the undergrowth again;
Feel the earth move, the planets spin,
But I cant get through.
Its the spirit in you,
Its the spirit in you,
Its the spirit in you,
That I want to find.
Its the spirit in you,
Its the spirit in you,
Its the spirit in you,
That I want to find.

Tassie's Pain
Blood everywhere, watching it trickle down my hand;
My heart beating faster:
Pain is love...
Pain is feeling, feeling of hurt coursing through my body
Captivating me... invigorating in its own sense;
Pain is lovely...
Love is pain and pain is love but its pain to my body and my body is my temple,
And its bleeding from the inside...
Cutting it felt like an escape but it was doing the opposite,
Kind of like locking myself out and throwing away the key
Pain is adrenaline,
That never ending rush that never satisfy
But where does pain come from?
Why does it never end? Will it never end?
Pain is amazing,
It's like rotten grapes, but isn't that what wine really is? They say that's good for me, pain must be good too,
So I am shivering, head down in the sink,
A razor in my sights, with my hand shaking like its got Parkinson's
Cut....
Painfully sweet...
Pain is home
A home I built on the sand
Sand that is being blown away by my cries of hurt
Home is where my heart is
Meaning my pain is pumping hurt throughout my body
Razor still in hand, with the blood is draining down the sink
I raise it higher; thinking one slice of the jugular will end it all
The continuous pain
Cut....
I survived

The Egg-Shell
The wind took off with the sunset--
The fog came up with the tide,
When the Witch of the North took an Egg-shell
With a little Blue Devil inside.
"Sink," she said, "or swim," she said,
"It's all you will get from me.
And that is the finish of him!" she said
And the Egg-shell went to sea.
The wind fell dead with the midnight--
The fog shut down like a sheet,
When the Witch of the North heard the Egg-shell
Feeling by hand for a fleet.
"Get!" she said, "or you're gone," she said.,
But the little Blue Devil said "No!
"The sights are just coming on," he said,
And he let the Whitehead go.
The wind got up with the morning--
The fog blew off with the rain,
When the Witch of the North saw the Egg-shell
And the little Blue Devil again.
"Did you swim?" she said. "Did you sink?" she said,
And the little Blue Devil replied:
"For myself I swam, but I think," he said,
"There's somebody sinking outside."

Partners In Crime
Alright
I know your wheels are turning, got your fire burning
I know your hearts as cold as stone
Youre covered in abuses, dripping with excuses
I know you got a lover at home
But youll come here to me, time after time
Youll go down on your knees
Yeah girl I can read your mind
Because were partners in crime, partners in crime
Your going empty handed, smiling like a bandit
Knocking on my window each night
Youre sweeter than a beauty queen, darker than a limousine
Need me cause I feel right
Yeah when its sink or its swim and the temperature flies
You get your body so close and lay it all on the line
Because were partners in crime, partners in crime
Because were partners in crime, ooh yeah
When its sink or swim and the tales thats youre blind
You get your body so close and lay it all on the line
Because were partners in crime, partners in crime
Ooh yeah, because were partners in crime
Because were partners in crime
Partners in crime, partners in crime
Lets go, ha

Marry - Go - Around
On the marry-go-round.
Baby spin me around baby around.
In circles we go. Its a balancing act.
Give and take.
Dusk till dawn.
God how this is fun.
On the marry-go-round.
Baby spin me around baby around.
So dizzy and i want more.
Riding it all night long.
The energy never gone.
Every single time you make it feel so damn good.
On the marry-go-around.
Baby, spin me around baby around.
I'm loving every minute of it.
Its love of the best kind.
God you are so fine.
Above the divine.
The taste of wine on your breath.
You and i know exactly were doing.
On the marry-go-around.
Baby spin me around baby around.
Going to town, in every possible way.
Please hush there nothing to say.
Just lets take this all the way.
One more time, just one more time.
On the marry-go-around.
Oh baby spin me around, baby around.
Jump up and down.
Hands in the air, hands on the ground.
In the perfect embodiment you shall surround.
the whisper of sounds.
On the marry-go-around.
Oh baby spin me around, baby around.

Dance With Me Under The Rain
As the rain falls down from the velvet sky,
take my hand and we will walk a while.
Let us bathe under the pouring rain
and let the pain flow into the stream.
Draw out your arms let us play,
take one more step, stay close to me.
Squeeze me tighter
kiss me tenderly,
I just can't help but feel love.
Let's get together and dance in the rain.
Spin me around, twirling away the sorrow,
dance with me under the rain
I'm crazy and I made you insane
Laughing, joking under the rain
let's forget our troubles, just dance.
Dance with me under the rain.
