Everything Has Been Said Before/Sve Je Vec Ranije Receno
is like saying it's always the same snow snowing
whereas in reality each flake is unique
je kao da kazes da uvijek pada isti snijeg
dok je u stvarnosti svaka pahulja jedinstvena

Cold Silence
The silence of the night
is the winters delight
snow that muffles the sounds
are billions of snow flakes
compacting down.
See that snow flake coming down
I will catch it on my tongue
and it will dissapear, melting
and it will be done.
The beauty of a single snow flake
as you can see, under a microscope
is unique as you'll agree
Not two are alike nope there will never be
another as unique like, you or me.

The streets can tell your walk
you're-called love
a shortcut to the end

Oh
It is snowing and death bugs me
as stubborn as insomnia.
The fierce bubbles of chalk,
the little white lesions
settle on the street outside.
It is snowing and the ninety
year old woman who was combing
out her long white wraith hair
is gone, embalmed even now,
even tonight her arms are smooth
muskets at her side and nothing
issues from her but her last word - 'Oh.' Surprised by death.
It is snowing. Paper spots
are falling from the punch.
Hello? Mrs. Death is here!
She suffers according to the digits
of my hate. I hear the filaments
of alabaster. I would lie down
with them and lift my madness
off like a wig. I would lie
outside in a room of wool
and let the snow cover me.
Paris white or flake white
or argentine, all in the washbasin
of my mouth, calling, 'Oh.'
I am empty. I am witless.
Death is here. There is no
other settlement. Snow!
See the mark, the pock, the pock!
Meanwhile you pour tea
with your handsome gentle hands.
Then you deliberately take your
forefinger and point it at my temple,
saying, 'You suicide bitch!
I'd like to take a corkscrew
and screw out all your brains
and you'd never be back ever.'
And I close my eyes over the steaming
tea and see God opening His teeth.
'Oh.' He says.
I see the child in me writing, 'Oh.'
Oh, my dear, not why.

The Warmth of Snow
A snow flake is so complex, yet soft enough to enhance romance.
No flake is like another, neither is a friend or a lover.
The gentle falling of snow makes me think of home,
where I find warmth and cheer, and happiness flow.
A warm heart and cold toes, come next to me, and snuggle close.
I love you now and forever more, as we wait for more snow flakes to fall.

Snowflakes Falling
What a beautiful sight
a little flake's flight
swirling around
it's even more beautiful that
there is no sound
just millions of
snow flakes falling
silently to the ground

My Snowfall
My eyes behold its beauty
As my hand
Reaches out for its touch,
While my face
Feels that certain tingle
That makes me love
Snow so much!
My heart embraces its coming
The way a child frolics
In the fallen snow! My beautiful snowfall
Brings joy to my spirit
And sunshine to my day.
It doesn't matter
Whether it be a blizzard
Or a dusting of flakes,
Snow falling from the sky
To me looks the same
Any old way!
Snow, my ever lovely snowfall! Be it Valentine's Day,
President's Day,
And yes,
Be it Groundhog Day!
Let it snow
I walk in it,
As well as sing in it!
I play in the snow
And build my favorite snowman,
Then chase
Each falling flake
As fast as I can! Each breath of air
Feels crystal clear
Making Winter so very dear!
Each descending flake
Falls as if it were
A blessing from the angels,
Appreciating this gift
Of nature from God,
More than any other
Man created pleasure! Let it snow
As well as
Let the winds blow!
I wait for the snow every year,
And can't stop smiling
When it finally appears!
Snowfall, my snowfall!

It's Snowing Outside
It's snowing outside
On this December morning
And it will be a day
That I will spend inside
There isn't much of a reason
To ge outside and risk
My health in any way
Until the snow is over
It's the first snow of the winter
And people will have to learn
How to drive in the snow
Like they have to do every year

Snow
Down out of heaven,
Frost-kissed
And wind driven,
Flake upon flake,
Over forest and lake,
Cometh the snow.
Folding the forest,
Folding the farms,
In a mantle of white;
And the river’s great arms,
Kissed by the chill night
From clamor to rest,
Lie all white and shrouded
Upon the world’s breast.
Falling so slowly
Down from above,
So white, hushed, and holy,
Folding the city
Like the great pity
Of God in His love; 20
Sent down out of heaven
On its sorrow and crime,
Blotting them, folding them
Under its rime.
Fluttering, rustling,
Soft as a breath,
The whisper of leaves,
The low pinions of death,
Or the voice of the dawning,
When day has its birth,
Is the music of silence
It makes to the earth.
Thus down out of heaven,
Frost-kissed
And wind driven,
Flake upon flake,
Over forest and lake,
Cometh the snow.

A Winter Message
A flake of snow in flurry thro’ the air
Had landed as a kiss upon my cheek:
A secret message, just for me to share;
To take to heart but never dare to speak
About or presuppose to other eyes
Your open feelings – distant though they are.
And so, upon your lips, my OWN surprise:
A flake of snow returned from me afar.

Thanks For Christmas
Thanks for christmas,
Thank you for the love and happiness thats snowing down,
All around.
Thanks for christmas,
Thank you for the winter friendliness thats snowing down,
All around the world.
Its nearer,
Childrens eyes shine clearer now,
As they decorate the trees,
All across the seven seas.
Its nearer,
Yule log fires burn clearer now,
In the winters frosty air,
Sing with us and we can share our...

Thank you for the winter friendliness thats snowing down,
All around the world.
Its dawning,
Santas reindeer yawning now,
All their festive work is done,
Filling houses up with fun.
Its dawning,
Here is christmas morning now,
Greatest day of all the year,

Youve been saving your love up,
Let it out,
cause christmas is here.

Ice & Snow
People never tell of ice
Or the snow that glitters nice
Or of the icy crunchy snow
Of that most people do not know
The crunch that sounds beneath your feet
As your sole and ice compete
When in the morning as you wake
You see a single white snow flake
You look out of the iced window
The look out seems so very low
Because the snow fell all night
It has left behind its sheet of white

Through and Through
A frown just a smile upside down
A smile a country mile wide
That, s you by my side
Living with you throughout the year
Brings a gentle tear
give me a break for every downy flake
Of snow
On a gloomy lake
Sing me a song like a mockingbird
Don't make it short but long
Live like a lover smitten
While we are united in flight
Oh the melody so sweet
A flake of snow
Over a moonlit lake
Life passes by, but why?
Your love your gentle sigh
My God. Is heaven nigh?
I only love you through and through.
No Control
trying to control who you love
is like trying to control the weather;
The winter season starts...
&it begins to snow.
you like the snow, at first,
you like the snow alot.
you even begin to love it!
&you love it for a long time,
but then you get sick...
&the snow keeps falling.
you know that it's bad for you,
but you just cant ignore it!
you want it to stop snowing,
oh, so badly!
but the snow wont stop.
&its not going to stop.
not until the season's over...

The Snow
See the snow
Its a blanket, soft and white
Falling slow
Covering the world, making it bright
Hear the snow
Crunching underneath feet
Children throw
The snow in the street
Smell the snow
The freshening scent
As the steady flow
Makes my heart content
Feel the snow
Powdery, it freezes your toes
As the blanket starts to grow
And the cold wind blows
Taste the snow
The way it makes the world look clean
Still cold though,
Makes the world, a beautiful scene
Love the snow
When I see it snowing all day
I just know
That everything is going to be okay

The heart of snow
the heart of snow
is a mirror whitened
by hands that know
a surface enlightened
the heart of snow
a feeble beat of time
of things that grow
in seeds of fragile rhymes
the heart of snow
bleeds the blood of white
for a lamb that knows
the edges of the light
the heart of snow
landscapes hurt the heart
in a death that blows
a flake's graceful art
the heart of snow
do not ever touch
up you will grow
and still know too much

Ice Crystal Lattices
Snowflakes
frozen ice crystals
conglomerations
fall through
Earth

two snow
crystals
microscopic
supercooled
cloud
droplets freeze
variety

complex
shapes
emerging
as the flake
falls through
differing
temperature

It’s Snowing Again
It’s snowing again
This winter morning
Silver threads grain
Of icily yearning
Day in cold light
Giving their frost
In February flight
Where silences crossed
In white pearls
And glistening doubt
Silver corns hurls
The ground about
The playfully breeze
Scattering glow
All that accompanies
Winter cold snow
Outside’s snowing
From falling sky
Freshly air flowing
Gather and lie
Day is like new
From yesterday old
As thoughts come thru
In words untold

Global Warming? I think not.
Snow has fallen, snow on snow.
The temperatures remaining low.
There is no sign of any thaw,
In fact we are expecting more.
It’s snowing intermittently.
With intervals of weak sunshine
but it is freezing constantly.
With dread black ice the bottom line
A hazard for the traveller
who has no choice but has to go
Though most of them would much prefer
to stay at home out of the snow.
Authorities are struggling to
ensure the major roads are free
of snow to let the traffic flow.
Albeit very carefully.
Its more than thirty years ago.
Though some of us can still recall
the problems caused by heavy snow.
But memories don’t help at all.
We have to cope with here and now
and not what happened years ago.
We have to show that we know how
to overcome this winters snow.
We do not know when thaw will come
as it has always done before.
But we are sure we will welcome,
the sight of snow free roads once more.
