Cut
Quick silver interlude
Of a sound too sharp for me knots
Will cut this Gordian cut this Gordian
Bloom rising from the ashes
Feels like cutting a lock of smoke
Dying on a bit of hair
Just to foot loose on the wired walk
Little flameless dresses ticking in
Accordion sounds cut this Gordian
Cut this Gordian for a tango no touch
It gives this step cut severed transfused
Into the world pale Moon shade
Eating its little moons
In a mice labyrinth of a cheese
It's got to be quick
It's got to be silver
And it's got to be saberless

Anarchy
Move
Into the next century
Values decried
System in lurch
Gordian knots
Were our bonds
Find no takers
In our land
That channelized stream
With embankments cracked
Faints in rabble
Will its prints
Be there
A guide in future
Ephermeral objects in sight
Seek pleasure
In any effort
If make
Not seconds
But hours hand accelerate

Separate From Me
“Separate from me, ” said Abraham to Lot,
“our people cannot coexist with one another.”
Lot chose to live in Sodom, where it’s very hot,
and said to Abraham: “It really doesn’t bother
me that all the people there are dreadful sinners.”
Its nightlife influenced him to be the city’s chooser.
Some people do not have a knack for picking winners,
but do not pity Lot. Although he was a loser
who nearly fried to death and lay with both his daughters,
he ended up the ancestor of Israel’s kings,
when Ruth the Moabite caught up with Boaz, tortoise
that breaks its safety shell and flies with wifely wings.
This is a story that we learn in Aesop’s fables,
relating how the tortoise overtook the hare;
Boaz was a hare who didn’t care for labels,
thought anti-Ruth discrimination wasn’t fair.
In ancient Athens ostracism was ten-yearly,
a ritual that allowed return, recalling Lot’s
descendant who returned to Abraham sincerely,
by tying nuptial knots while cutting Gordian knots.

My Future Kid
Behold my son,
let the kite you made make you happy,
as i have taken your pain away.
observe the sunrise with your charming agony,
repent over those negative ropes,
as i have lived your tears of pain in me.
never hide yourself in a sty or kennel,
vibrating for fear and hunger,
as i have already feared for you.
Listen my son,
if i have to go today,
then i will go with your monsters away,
i will throw them far enough not to scare you ever.
But remember,
never will you be in doldrums,
protect your mom be a Gordian,
as i have left with your failures away.

The Honey Bee and the Rose
The honey bee hovered over the rose
Waiting for it to bloom
Seeking its daily bread I suppose
Before the rose could adorn a room
A butterfly
Hang around nearby
Coordinating its next vector
For the leftover nectar
The honey bee took charge
When the rose stretched its petals to the sky
First in line before the barrage
A nosedive straight into the rose’s eye
A blue jay and a sparrow
Perched high upon a telephone wire
Sang their song of sorrow
As the scene below was catching fire
The honey bee forgot
About the crown of thorns
But the rose did not
A rose lives for the palace it adorns
How this story end everybody knows
You don’t mess around with a rose
The honey bee got itself into a Gordian knot
A minor sting is all that it got

Poetry
Brewing a good poem takes time,
Doesn't matured whiskey taste better
On the rocks or with cordial lime?
Also a love matured is sweeter
Poetry is not about using fancy
words,
Though one might employ one or two
For it leads to many roads:
Emotions, memories-
experiences too
Most mistake poetry for the canvas
But is not, It is the journey,
The clay being mould into a vase,
The process of making the honey
It isn't alone the protagonist,
It's every one behind the scenes,
The chemical reaction not the catalyst
Nor the song but why one sings
Poetry is untying a gordian knot simply,
Its teaching angels how to fly,
Nothing like a show of Mr.Ripley,
Its the tears of joy God would cry.

Glimpse of Heaven 1365
Who catches glimpse of heaven drawing nigh
expectations entertains, cannot
live in half-light, cuts past's gordian knot
imprisonning soul's spirit, inner eye.
No compromises ever satisfy
expectations that reject shame's blot,
secondary lot where half forgot
convictions wither, fade, or atrophy.
Hesitation equals living lie
most men accept to ease their daily rot,
simplification, time-trap, once bolt's shot
try who will, few find wings which help fly.
Thus when two meet, their differences dissolve,
harmony Earth's mysteries may solve.

A Moonlit Walk
I walk along the wet beach,
watching the waves twist and die
the moon shines brightly in the star- studded sky
I walk upon the wet sand, my footprints trail behind
I make a mark wherever I step while the moon shines
I walk upon the silver sand, I stride through the diamond waves,
I get hold of the twinkling stars,
but forget to look back on my way
suddenly a cloud hides the moon
and I loose all my stars.
I look back on to the silver sand to find none of my marks

The Watch
I wakened on my hot, hard bed;
Upon the pillow lay my head;
Beneath the pillow I could hear
My little watch was ticking clear.
I thought the throbbing of it went
Like my continual discontent,
I thought it said in every tick:
I am so sick, so sick, so sick;
O death, come quick, come quick, come quick,
Come quick, come quick, come quick, come quick.

Daniel In The Diner's Den
Across our chasms we met
His arms covered with tattoos
My arms Anglo white - needle untouched,
As we warmed he told of early years in an institution
Where his words had moved all the girls to tears
He said it changed his life -
This realization that words could count.
I presumed to play the mentor.
He accepted the role as student.
'Who do you think is our greatest poet? '
He granted the grace for me to think.
After a while I reminded him Homer was a poet.
Then I sliced this Gordian Knot with the dated name
Of Louis Untermeyer's great anthology fame.
All of this as he played fuhrer to the menu
and jockeyed servings for four.
'Poets stick together! '
Skin and sex and a million other variables
Are best excluded from this formula.

Silver And Gold
Silver, silver and gold
Silver and gold, silver and gold
Ev'ryone wishes for silver and gold
How do you measure its worth?
Just by the pleasure it gives here on earth.
Silver and gold, silver and gold
Mean so much more when I see
Silver and gold decorations
On ev'ry Christmas tree.
Silver, silver and gold
Silver, silver and gold
Silver and gold
Silver and gold
Silver and gold
Wise men brought gifts to the mange I'm told
Mary was humble to see
Shepherds and kings there on bended knees
It's silver and gold, silver and gold
Feeling the world with their lives
Silver and gold how they shimmer on ev'ry Christmas night
On ev'ry Christmas night
Silver, silver and gold

In Light of the Sinking Sun
An empty chair
A quiet room
In light of the moons full glare.
A sleeping man
A cell of stone
In light of the moons full glare.
A dark hall
A silent porch
In light of the moons full glare.
Flickering light
Buzzing flies
In light of the moons full glare.
The man awakes
Stifles a moan
In light of the fading moon.
Shuffling feet
Dangling keys
In light of the fading moon.
The door opens
The man hauled out
In light of the fading moon.
Straps are tightened
Machine turned on
In light of the fading moon.
A button pushed
A scream of pain
In light of the fading moon.
A blackened body
Smoke-filled room
In light of the fading moon.
Six foot hole
Dug in the woods
In light of the fading moon.
The headstone in
The words are said
In light of the rising sun.
The next man sits
Upon that chair
In light of the rising sun.
Poor old man,
Dealt the hand
In light of the rising sun.
Dealt the hand,
The blow of power
In light of the rising sun.
An evil laugh
A blackened body
In light of the rising sun.
The executioner stands
By a silent chair
In light of the sinking sun.

Oh Sweet Silver Moon
Oh sweet silver moon
Tell your lies
Let me drown in the tears your cry
Even if just for tonight
Oh sweet silver moon
Sing me your song of sorrow
Let me drown in your dark voice
Even if just for tonight
Oh sweet silver moon
Lend me your eyes
So that I may see as you see
Even if just for tonight
Oh sweet silver moond
Tell me the stories of your past
So that I may know your darkness
Even if just for tonight
Oh sweet silver moon
Let me feel your misty beams
Flow over my pail skin
Even if just for tonight
For tomorrow I shall be gone
As your sweet beams fade
I will give myself to the eternal sun
And my ashes shall scatter to the wind...

A Valentine
For her this rhyme is penned, whose luminous eyes,
Brightly expressive as the twins of Leda,
Shall find her own sweet name, that nestling lies
Upon the page, enwrapped from every reader.
Search narrowly the lines!- they hold a treasure
Divine- a talisman- an amulet
That must be worn at heart. Search well the measure-
The words- the syllables! Do not forget
The trivialest point, or you may lose your labor
And yet there is in this no Gordian knot
Which one might not undo without a sabre,
If one could merely comprehend the plot.
Enwritten upon the leaf where now are peering
Eyes scintillating soul, there lie perdus
Three eloquent words oft uttered in the hearing
Of poets, by poets- as the name is a poet's, too,
Its letters, although naturally lying
Like the knight Pinto- Mendez Ferdinando-
Still form a synonym for Truth- Cease trying!
You will not read the riddle, though you do the best you can do.

To thy heart so sweetly its wrong..
To a memory of happiness thine heart doth yield
Rousing thine sweet face to be kissed by love first
Dreamy thy power behind thy strength's shield
Drinking the dreams of love, thine soul doth thirst
For the love that did first make thee
Is the love thy face doth subtly gleam
Into the springs of thy soul's glee
Wert thy past love reflect and thy heart beam
But thy love is in thy dreams, now thy love not
Rejected and abandoned to thy only love thou hope
As loneliness and despair forge a their Gordian knot
Around thy heart, thy still dream for love to cope
For the love which is lost in thy memory song
Unconsciously playing to thy heart so sweetly its wrong..

Non Oui Mais! sed We May!
NON OUI MAIS! SED WE MAY!
Another day tense present into past
laughs round the bend as future rhymes resolve
with salvo laughter salving bottle cast
upon Fate's foam flecked whirlwind search to solve
life's melody, key rune tune which will dance
swift circles round perceptions rigid, set,
sets scene, tomorrow timing with advance
which fears not self, untempted to forget.
From shoreline into sure line straight as die
'we may' the Gordian ribbons can release
fresh options from tired wrappings, can rely
upon dreams of reality at peace.
Mind solace finds as inner rainbow shines
on Chance which Joy and Circumstance aligns.

Never To Fade Away
You will find me.
And when you do,
I will be as intriguing to you,
As an interlude.
Leaving you to wonder,
Why I have not be included...
As part of the main event.
And once you have thought about it,
My standing alone to discover...
Will make to you more sense.
You will find me.
And when you do,
I will be as intriguing to you,
As an interlude.
And you will remember me,
In a way that remains to stay.
Once an interlude.
But for you the main event.
To fascinate with teases touched,
Never to fade away.
