At the disposal
you've got a chalk-write
you've got autumn fingers-
let them spark like flamelets of the words
across the keyboards surf virtual waves
you've got eyes - see across the lines
weaving the webs of time
you've got feet-stand up
forget about the knees
you've got this
incredibly
intrinsically
intuitively
creatured mind-
think feel sense
it's unbelievable
you've got everything, for Your sake
why are you still dead?

My Ageing Poem
A simple poem I wanted to write
The words were so clear in my mind
But my fingers were numb and sore
Lift a pencil they can't at all
Before a few lines write I could
With my signpen wrestle I should
I tried to read my scribbles
And asked my self how did I fare
The words I saw were all in blur
And were in badly crooked lines
I have but lost my metering
And all my lines did hardly rhyme
My next poems shall not be written
And in my thought will just remain
Be unrecited as they may
Till in my mind they fade away

Dead Man, Dead Man
Uttering idle words from a reprobate mind,
Clinging to strange promises, dying on the vine,
Never bein able to separate the good from the bad,
Ooh, I cant stand it, I cant stand it,
Its makin me feel so sad.
Dead man, dead man,
When will you arise?
Cobwebs in your mind,
Dust upon your eyes.
Satan got you by the heel, theres a birds nest in your hair.
Do you have any faith at all? do you have any love to share?
The way that you hold your head, cursin God with every move,
Ooh, I cant stand it, I cant stand it,
What are you tryin to prove?
Dead man, dead man,
When will you arise?
Cobwebs in your mind,
Dust upon your eyes.
The glamour and the bright lights and the politics of sin,
The ghetto that you build for me is the one you end up in,
The race of the engine that overrules your heart,
Ooh, I cant stand it, I cant stand it,
Pretending that youre so smart.
Dead man, dead man,
When will you arise?
Cobwebs in your mind,
Dust upon your eyes.
What are you tryin to overpower me with, the doctrine or the gun?
My back is already to the wall, where can I run?
The tuxedo that youre wearin, the flower in your lapel,
Ooh, I cant stand it, I cant stand it,
You wanna take me down to hell.
Dead man, dead man,
When will you arise?
Cobwebs in your mind,
Dust upon your eyes.

We Who Keep Thinking
look at us
we who keep thinking
whose days run
like undecided metaphors
our bodies are bloating
with words
fattened with what we
grope and
cannot fully understand
eyelashes bent like
Nike
eyes that are strangers
to blink and wink
there is no more care
how this world goes
we, who keep thinking
stand on feet dissolving
on fingers that become
keyboards
we, are, reduced
to nothing but
your thoughts.

I Am A Virtual Poet In Virtual Hiding
I AM A VIRTUAL POET IN VIRTUAL HIDING
I am a virtual poet in virtual hiding
I do not want to be seen
Or known
I want to write my lines
And be worshipped from a distance
As if my person and my name
Had no real connection.
Praises and more praises are fine
Critical evaluations which admire – excellent
If non- existent and potentially embarrassing-
But please don’t come too near
With what you say-
I fear if you hear me
You will steal my essence-
And know this truth -
‘I am a virtual poet
In need of, fear of
An acclaim-
I don’t really believe I deserve.’

Incredibly Unbelievable
Whenever has it been that something disbelieved,
To be unbelievable...
Was more attention grabbing,
Than that which no one can be convinced...
Is more real than their acceptance of 'reality' defended.
Or the 'reality' that has led to the feeding,
Of that which is perceived to be of a quality...
One should and can believe.
And that which is disbelieved,
Is observed for what it is...
Incredibly unbelievable,
As witnessed to be disbelieved.
'You're back on crack, huh? '
Back?
I do not do drugs.
'Well...
Whatever it is that you do 'do',
You could make a fortune selling that!
'Cause this stuff you are 'rapping'...
Is 'cosmic'.
And you say you don't do drugs?
I find 'that' to be,
Incredibly unbelievable.'

In His Eyes
In his eyes
I am beautiful
I can do no wrong
I am wonderful
Even though it has not been very long
In his eyes
I can see how much he cares
Words he does not have to say
I can just tell by the way he stares
My heart leaps when he calls me Ashley Mae
In his eyes
With a gaze so intense it makes me melt
Looking into those beautiful blue eyes makes me weak
It makes me forget all of the problems with which I have dealt
Which is why sometimes I can only take a peak
In his eyes
I am amazing
I am the girl he will never hurt
To make me happy he will do anything
Now the only question is: can I get him away from Kurt? ; -)
In his eyes
I feel myself letting down my guard
It is something I cannot stop
Even if I tried extremely hard
The feeling I get when I am with him nothing can top
In his eyes
I feel completely at ease
Like I can totally be the real me
He makes me weak at the knees
So I just look up at him peacefully
In his eyes
I feel so incredibly special
He makes me feel perfect
There's no need to be artificial
He just has this effect
In his eyes

Sunrise
When the sun comes up on the Eastern shore
and the sky becomes bright pink
I'm in awe and then I think
the luckiest person am I.
It's like a painted picture was brushed
by the hand of God at sea.
For a minute or two all's right with the world
for I feel sweet peace in me
as I see the colors on high.
Lost in the moment of incredible delight
and with my rod and reel in hand,
I forget about the waves near my feet
or the graininess of the sand
and the seagulls that I see fly.
This is the morning scene that's there
for the fishermen on the surf.
He breathes it in and fishes again,
comfortable with this surf
and the overhead colorful sky.

I write some lines and you read each word
A word excites you and you take it up to
Seed your fields where you grow your own
Shrubbery of words with tendrils climbing
I look at your garden of words and there is
This word growing into a flower attracting
Me I pick it up this sensual flower and I
Seed it in the lines of my mind now another
Bunch of words like ripe grapes I take one
Swallow it and savor the taste of its sweetness
More lines of words in my throat sliding
Through the lining of my esophagus so smooth
Going straight inside the veins leading to my heart
Sweet, so sweet I could have written the usual
Lines of “ I love you, I miss you” but I couldn’t
There is this roadblock, this writer’s block
The lines stopped, the words are stunted
I stutter, I retreat to my eyes, to see
The face of this woman I love, her eyes
Are gentle, she smiles at me, and waits
For this beautiful silence that gives her life
You stand there, looking for a hint, another
Word to seed the lines waiting to be written.

Complete; Rising Crimson With Love
Do you remember the time we walked on the beach
to the sound of the surf as it beat at our feet
and the sun was rising crimson with love
as we walked hand in hand and flew like the doves.
Do you remember the feel of the wind in our hair
as we sat on the sands without any cares
and the tears in our eyes were for joy not for grief
as we sat and felt as one with the beach.
Do you remember the time we walked on the beach
to the sound of the surf as it beat at our feet
your heart was in mine and mine was in yours
as we walked hand in hand on those magical shores.
Do you remember the feel of the wind in our hair
as we sat on the sands without any cares
and we joined with the ocean that came to our feet
making us the beach and the ocean complete.
Do you remember the time we walked on the beach
with the healing, the feeling, of being at peace
the sand at our feet, the surf in our mind
an ocean of stillness in one heart that's combined.
Do you remember the feel of the wind in our hair
with our eyes full of stars our hearts without cares
and a sun that was rising crimson with love
as our souls were set free into the sky up above.
Do you remember the time we walked on the beach
to the sound of the surf as it beat at our feet
and the sun was rising crimson with love
as we walked hand in hand and flew like the doves.

I Fear My Own Silence
I FEAR MY OWN SILENCE
I fear my own silence
I fear the end in life in writing
Before my life has ended-
I force myself to go on
I feel my own inadequacy
I feel I am writing poor lines.
I sense it would make more sense to stop
I should stop
I can’t stop
I need to write
Even if my writing is only the scribbling of an amateur fool who has wasted his life in words and more words
I write this now in the darkness before the morning has begun
Will I walk to Shul this morning justified?
Or do I know these lines now too
More of the same self- indulgent nonsense
No one needs but myself?

Open My Eyes
All I want is written on my face
Youre bound to find something
And all your words that held me into place
Were nothing but lies
Another time I might have watched the things I said
But I cant see
Somebody...
Open my eyes for a little while little while
Make me forget all the things I see
Til then til then dont know what is happening
Til then til then dont care what Ill see
Ill stand and stare until I go blind
Will you open my eyes
Dont mind me
You know me inside out
Thats the way that you left me
And you wont find me
Begging for a chance
To have you burn me again
Another time I might have wasted all my words
To make you see
Somebody...
Open my eyes for a little while little while
Make me forget all the things I see
Til then til then dont know what is happening
Til then til then dont care what Ill see
Ill stand and stare until I go blind
Will you open my eyes?
Another time you might have watched the things I said
Another place you might left me here for dead
Another time...
Somebody...
Open my eyes for a little while little while
Make me forget all the things I see
Til then til then dont know what is happening
Til then til then dont care what Ill see
Ill stand and stare until I go blind
Will you open my eyes?
Oh, Ill stand and stare until I go blind
Will you open my eyes?
Open my eyes
Open my eyes.

To be a writer
They say, when you have nothing to say
Do not say anything
They say when you have nothing good to say
Do not say anything
He is not convinced
He wants to be a writer and to be one he must write
What is in his mind
To be a writer he must write and write and write
Even when there is nothing to write
Even when there is nothing to say even when nobody listens
Even when the word is dead even when there is no sense at all
Even when he gets blind and deaf and mute even when his fingers are cut even when his mind is blank even when his consciousness is lost
Even when you are angry even when you say what is written is nothing
But trash, dung, cadaver, corpse, poo, pee, even when there is nothing
Anymore,
He writes because he is a writer and no one can stop him now.
he is
he is writing
he is writing always
he is writing always whatever that needs to be written
and here you are foolishly reading. thanks to you, audience of one.

Didn't You Notice?
when you spit fire
i remain as the cool water of the pond
i am still the lotus there
undisturbed by the mud
and the ripples of the frog
and the braggings of the bug
when you are angry
i keep my happy disposition, no awry
and show my kindness
to you.my Highness
when you are agitated
i simply mimic you
with a sense
of humor
all in the spirit of fun
as you sling me with
brimstones
so my poetry is bland
and i am bald
and aging and old
like a man
half-dead
lacking the final signature
of the earthworm?
i don't mind really
i don't write for praise
neither for condemnation
i have long told you that
i write because i feel the urge
to write
and i get this intellectual ejaculation
by the constant rubbing
of my intellect to
the images which are so vivid
and sexy
and too alluring to be ignored
i write because i must
because i am still here
with no plans for
leaving or for anger
i like to hug you
like a mother
(for in truth i am younger
than your youngest son
and more handsome than
your previous lover
or husband)
but you push me away like
a dirty beggar
and you utter words
unfit for a poetess
or for any decent
grandmother
(it is funny really)
let me write some more
lines without hurting you
these are for me
for her and for my friends
and if you still fume like
a volcano
for God's sake
please erupt now
while i am still here
i like to see
some pyroplastics
and ash and lava
and explosions
but what i like more
is the scene after
your volcanic eruption
the calmness of the lake
that your fury has
by force of nature created

Waves
How is it I never see
The waves that bring me her words to me
for though unseen they drift around
they catch my breath and knock me down
I feel them quickly swirling by
As they withdraw with my reply
And slip into the dark of night
As I attemt to stay upright
Instead I'm stranded on my knees
As words depart upon the breeze
That quickly drifts away from here
And possibly won't reach her ear
If we could see the many waves
that flow through clouds and sunken caves
She'd sense at least the words that sought her
on the winds of the underwater

Ars Gratia Artis
i will say this
and i will say this
again to you
it is for art's sake
that i write
not for the rating
not for popularity
that is why i never
go on campaigning
that you read me
i do not advertise
no gimmicks
just plain writing
because i just feel
like doing it
words come and
i welcome them
they ask to be written
and so i have to
write them
art must be for art's sake
words are written
and poems are posted
because they are here.

I Am Time
i am time, more than that, i do not have only hands
i have feet, but like time,
i only move on, i cannot stop, i do not think anymore,
i just run
and i go round and round
not moving that far, i only move in the mind,
like time, i do not see, i have long plucked my eyes
from my sockets, but i still feel, like time,
i know what darkness is
what coldness is, and what anticipation is,
i sense the loneliness of my journey
the eternity of my dreams,
i heal because i forget,
and there is one thing that i wish, like time
weary of its round-the-clock work,
it wants rest, but there is none,
it wishes death, but still unknown.
i am time, and like the river i flow,
like the mirror, i reflect the lights of the world,
uncluttered, unfettered, unbeholden to no one
and there you are wanting to hold me,
like sand, i slip from the fingers
of this world, to space they say
i bend, i tell no one,
i am always moving,
and gone.

Virtual World (12" Extended Mix)
Written by ricky & kim wilde
Images projected on a screen
Step into an artificial dream
Programme all the things you want to feel
Make a world where fantasies are real
Stand back and let the future unfurl
Well all be living in a virtual world
In a virtual world
Ah-ah, in a virtual world
Journey far beyond the atmosphere
Watch the world behind you disappear
Float inside a microscopic cell
Is this dream a heaven or a hell?
Stand back and watch the future unfurl
Well all be living in a virtual world
In a virtual world
Ah-ah, in a virtual world
In the name of progress science stands
Pushing all the frontiers known to man
When they go too far the frontiers break
And were left to deal with their mistakes
Stand back and watch the future unfurl
Well all be living in a virtual world
In a virtual world
Ah-ah, in a virtual world
Images projected on a screen
Step into an artificial dream
