And I'm thinking of wars. Although, one, understands nothing. So I share what I know. A country called Syria that calls for democracy. Living subtracted from their civil rights for almost 40 years. Passed from father to son the power. And an entire population, a generation of dumb slaves, humiliated, without rights, calls now for free!
Who can help? Who can stop the worst of wars, which is a civilian? destroying over each other until nothing remains. Until someone asks... What's left? Where do we go?
Then comes the application of human rights, the famous Geneva Convention. But it seems that war is deaf to such international appeals. Doctors Without Borders, Red Cross, working almost alone, in another war, to save lives. Are attacked, can not be fixed, the conflict is also nomadic.
And in this way, the innocent perish. The sons of war, babies, mothers and fathers of war. The blood of an entire people poured out of greed and veneration of power.
Emerge also international interests. Some help others destroy, and more guns and fewer supplies. And fewer hospitals and fewer professionals. Finally, fewer lives.
How many chances throw away, how many dead Gênius, how many silent poets, writers, teachers, humanists.
The world loses again.

Based Upon Their Ethnic Ties
If 'rules' of immigration,
Were applied many years ago...
To those who could not read or write,
Or speak the English language properly...
There would be fewer caucasians,
Irritated by productive aliens.
And even fewer still,
Igniting conflict over what rights they have.
Since many of them have risen to heights,
Of incompetence.
Based upon their ethnic ties!
Only the American Blacks,
Have been purposely disenfranchised.
And treated like extraterrestials 'allowed' to visit.
With limited assistance to sustain themselves.
If 'rules' of immigration,
Were applied many years ago...
To those who could not read or write,
Or speak the English language properly...
There would be fewer caucasians,
Irritated by productive aliens.
And even fewer still,
Igniting conflict over what rights they have.

Would you have Me smile?
Would you have Me smile?
(inspired by a report seeking to
'debunk the 'black myth' of the Inquisition'.)
“If you take one life, you destroy all the world. If you save one life, you save the world entire.” paraphrase from Hillel, first century C.E.
Would you have Me smile,
to hear fewer of My daughters and sons were set aflame alive
here than there, or there than here,
for their belief in Me?
Would you have Me nod,
on being told not so many of My children suffered
then than now, or now than then
for keeping faith with Me?
Would you have Me stop My tears,
with tales of how fewer of My people died tormented
in the counter-renaissance,
than in the modern holocaust
for staying true to Me?
Would you ask of Me 'thanks and praise'
for 'proofs' fewer of My lowly ones,
My precious ones, My beloved ones
came to the glad release of Death
in 'acts of faith' than in acts of war,
for living close to Me?
Then I say to you:
Blind, foolish and cruel you are!
_When_ will you know
_All_ who die and live are _My children_
_All_ in all times who suffer and keep faith
_All_ in all times who die and live believing
_All_ who they believe in, _I am_ ever was and ever shall be,
By _whatever_ names they call on Me;
Lady or Lord,
Isis or Brighit,
Krishna or Allah,
Adonai or Elohim,
Gaea or Mary
for _all their griefs_ I mourn still,
for _all their lives_ I rejoice always!

Old Age
Grey hairs
Lonely
Lovesick
Worried
Many thoughts
Fewer talks
Fewer hopes
Fewer friends
Less will to live
The only thing
That keeps me going
On the zigzag way of life
Is the desire to be loved.

Sonnet: Misuse of Power
Oh, how power is misused in this world!
To subjugate the weaker-willed of men;
How power corrupts most men manifold!
Making men slaves; gain wealth, subdue the pen.
Power suppresses the poorer nations,
Kicking them off the arms-race forever;
Power wins all wars and decrees sanctions,
Steals money/ land/ food in ways cleverer
Power can win the hearts of beauteous dames,
By threatening punishment in dire ways;
Separating friends/it can win most games,
And bring wars to end within fewer days
Power rules, yet misrules men in this world,
And can bring anyone into its fold.

Vote for the Hippy Party
Are you sitting in the shadow of doom,
the depths of despair the pit of anxiety?
Do you feel lost in the wake of the days to come
with the ballot box awaiting your cross.
Vote for the Hippy party, the party of hope
and embrace our manifesto, our vision for the U.K.
Make love, not war. We won't put fluoride in the water.
Forget your molars and think, free love.
Yes folks, we'll put contraception down your pipes.
Stem the tide of population overflow.
With free love you'll want to switch off facebook and
twitter and start to get up close and personal.
People will touch again instead of viewing each other
on web cams or watching reality TV
Think of all the electricity we'll save!
Think of all the heating bills that will go down.
We won't need central heating, well make our own heat.
Make love not war, power to the people, from the people.
Fewer children in our classrooms, fewer traffic jams
due to school runs, less unemployment.
Put your cross where it counts

Human Rights Violations
Human rights violations continue to plague the UN,
But their Human Rights Council is not bothered now, nor was it then,
As they publish serious distortion of actual events,
Their gang rapes goings on over there were people live in tents.
Despite some of their friends being involved in genocide - no report,
Even after being indicted by the International Criminal Court,
The whole UN and their Human Rights Council seem corrupt,
Canada’s forbidden entry to their Council was fierce and abrupt.
Their bent press releases are unadulterated propaganda,
We should pull out of their glass building, their wars, and their agenda,
These suggestions are unacceptable at the UN, I know,
But why should our democracy receive blow after blow?

A Sparrow's Thoughts... (Number Seven)
when we sit numbly staring
at the six o'clock news...
at the cops in riot gear
dispersing the student protesters...
protesting against Wall Street excess,
against the greed of big business,
against the destructive thrusts of big oil,
against the wars over seas...
against human rights being taken,
against the lie we're being fed...
when these young people are beaten,
gassed, and arrested for standing up
for their ideals of freedom...
do we remember that these are our children?
do we know?
even more, do we remember,
when we were young and believed?
the anti-war protests,
the civil rights marches,
women's rights, farmworker's rights...
when we dared to believe we could
change the world...
we live again in our children!
do we understand this?
are we just going to sit still and watch?
are we dead?

The Last Man And Woman On Earth
And it came to pass, in the last days,
That the world saw less of Mankind.
As the numbers fell, and weren't replaced,
The last generation walked upon the Earth.
Fewer and fewer, until just a few...
Famines, plagues and wars, they all took their toll.
Then, one day, there were only two souls left.
One man and one woman remained.
They weren't even in the same country.
As they wandered across the globe,
A sense of expectancy filled them.
Hope, faith, something driving them on.
They crossed mountains and rivers.
Years passed and the belief stayed with them.
There was another human somewhere.
Driven into a desert no mortal man should go,
They saw each other in the distance...
So tired they couldn't run, they walked on.
Finally, they could see each other's faces.
One man, one woman, one burning sun.
The humans stood, on the brink of fatigue.
They looked deep into each other's eyes,
Saw the pain of the previous years,
The memories of countless deaths,
Billions of tears and unanswered prayers.
A multitude of sins deserving judgments,
Now called to mind and condemning them still.
Fear scarred their thoughts of restoration,
Revival of the remnant meant nothing,
They were truly the lost souls they seemed to be.
It wasn't that they were unattractive or plain,
It wasn't that they couldn't start over...
It wasn't that they were infertile, unable to conceive...
It was just so futile, so pointless, so deadly.
They literally couldn't bear to be reminded,
Reminded of the madness that was Mankind.
How long would it be before their children killed?
How long would it be before another war was born?
The last man looked at the last woman.
The last woman looked at the last man...
And passing each other by, they kept walking...

Gautama Christ
The names of God and especially those of His representative
Who is called Jesus or Christ according to holy books and
someone's mouth
These names have been used, worn out and left
On the shores of rivers of of human lives
Like the empty shells of a mollusk.
However when we touch these sacred but exhausted
Names, these wounded scattered petals
Which have come out of the oceans of love and fear
Something still remains, a sip of water,
A rainbow footprint that still shimmers in the light.
While the names of God were used
By the best and the worst, by the clean and the dirty
By the white and the black, by bloody murderers
And by victims flaming gold with napalm
While Nixon with his hands
Of Cain blessed those whom he condemned to death,
While fewer and fewer divine footprints were found
on the beach
People began to study colors,
The future of honey, the sign of uranium
They looked with anxiety and hope for the possibilities
Of killing themselves or not killing themselves, of organizing
themselves into a fabric
Of going further on, of breaking through limits without stopping
What we came across in these blood thirsty times
With their smoke of burning trash, their dead ashes
As we weren't able to stop looking
We often stopped to look at the names of God
We lifted them with tenderness because they reminded us
Of our ancestors, of the first people, those who said the prayers
Those who discovered the hymn that united them in misfortune
And now seeing the empty fragments which sheltered those
ancient people
We feel those smooth substances,
Worn out and used up by good and by evil.

Our Games Of Chance, A Game Of Chess
whether you like it or not
(are you a man who wants everything to be too secure
without any risk at all?
say no.We cannot proceed further)
our lives are games of chances
every moment is a choice
every hour is a risk
every minute is a bait
sometimes we are the pawns and they are the kings
and bishops and queens
i am talking now of the game of chess
sometime we kick back and we become horses
and we invoke the power of the church
we take the robes of divine power: Jesus is King!
the King in us gets authoritative and checks the
queen of her fidelity
we impose taxing obligations
we make love and take the necessary romance
in a further note however, i like the feelings of being the spy.
roving eyes, ten to twenty disguises, and when caught in flagrante
i always say, 'Hey, i am just an ordinary poet!
what can poets do? Can they do harm to you?
Can they put the bombs and kill thousands of innocent people?
Do they ever know what 9/11 is? Or ' What do poets know about middle east issues, ? The Palestine Thing? The human rights problem?
What do poets say about international humanitarian law concerns? '
Perfect! Too perfect! The agree on one thing: Poets are fools!
They laugh and cry! Those mean and serious thinkers of our society!
They bound me
And in pity
They all set me free!
Like a turtle, I was thrown to the coolest river...

United Nations As It Dawns 24th October 2010
As Horizon International School gets ready for Universal Day.
Once upon a time you were a mighty League of Nations
When it was a shrinking you were designed to a United Nations
Sadly your power is still a struggling, sparks all hopes a dying
...Are you the master of your plan or a slave to the taste of deny...ing
Gentle words of authority vast controlled by …countries
Solutions cease to be, as boundaries and honesty freeze
Understanding not the divine message so conveniently
Insulations for innocence extinct and guilt proven amazingly
Violating the sacred rights of precious human life
Waging uncalled wars, terrorism, is it really a religious strife?
Greed for power wealth land, you the world body embrace
An enemy to peace care not what the next generation face
Warriors, pain heartaches go unseen so insensitively
War of words cost free, available, entertained charmingly
Education knowledge to modify feelings, certainly not
Human rights contaminated, minds twisted the world you trot.
soldiers less limbs hearts bleed with pain unpseakable
conflicts confusion a generation grows emotions disabled!
well UN what is it that you have to say to those come your way
to design a new body or relocate reorganse your unjust ways.
