Sonnet I
Alas, hardpressed the whirling orbs
And swift Titan hie fleeting hours,
And cleave delights with woe avid
Death might - fast on us, she strides!
Whilst I, onward, mark more the deep
Shadow of my wrongs that prey untold
On a heart cowed now by constant woe,
And with tears, my youthful faults I rue.
Power, delights, wealth, such ado,
Tho ne'er for naught, 'tis ill they work,
For our desire they turn astray
From its rightful bliss (God we name).
Brief gains! O blissful a hundredfold
Who knows quick these shadows' true shape!

Bliss
Ah, in just a sudden dunk of desires
This soul whole lost and mires
What if bewaring of fugacious the desires
Itself ere death, cerebrate higher empires..
Numbered down to naught desires whole lot
Itself ere death means bliss blissful a lot
What if differing human, his animal fought..?
Born a spiritual birth blissful, is it not?
And his bliss is his'I', his 'heart' all true
But in empyrean harmony his senses accrue
Temperamental satiety erstwhile all through
In dissipation his senses but to wake in bliss new

The Delights of Mathematics
It seems a hundred years or more
Since I, with note-book, ink and pen,
In cap and gown, first trod the floor
Which I have often trod since then;
Yet well do I remember when
With fifty other fond fanatics,
I sought delights beyond my ken,
The deep delights of Mathematics.
I knew that two and two made four,
I felt that five times two were ten,
But, as for all profounder lore,
The robin redbreast or the wren,
The sparrow, whether cock or hen,
Knew quite as much about Quadratics,
Was less confused by x and n,
The deep delights of Mathematics.
The Asses' Bridge I passed not o'er,
I floundered in the noisome fen
Which lies behind it and before;
I wandered in the gloomy glen
Where Surds and Factors have their den.
But when I saw the pit of Statics,
I said Good-bye, Farewell, Amen!
The deep delights of Mathematics.
O Bejants! blessed, beardless men,
Who strive with Euclid in your attics,
For worlds I would not taste again
The deep delights of Mathematics.

Delights Of Beauty
Delights Of Beauty'
Red painted lips
Eyes of deep brown
Your black flowing hair
How you paint the town
Delights Of Beauty
Pretty floral dress
With sultry looking smile
Your way of walking
Down to your very style

To Constantia, Singing
I.
Thus to be lost and thus to sink and die,
Perchance were death indeed!—Constantia, turn!
In thy dark eyes a power like light doth lie,
Even though the sounds which were thy voice, which burn
Between thy lips, are laid to sleep;
Within thy breath, and on thy hair, like odour, it is yet,
And from thy touch like fire doth leap.
Even while I write, my burning cheeks are wet.
Alas, that the torn heart can bleed, but not forget!
II.
A breathless awe, like the swift change
Unseen, but felt in youthful slumbers,
Wild, sweet, but uncommunicably strange,
Thou breathest now in fast ascending numbers.
The cope of heaven seems rent and cloven
By the enchantment of thy strain,
And on my shoulders wings are woven,
To follow its sublime career
Beyond the mighty moons that wane
Upon the verge of Nature's utmost sphere,
Till the world’s shadowy walls are past and disappear.
III.
Her voice is hovering o’er my soul—it lingers
O’ershadowing it with soft and lulling wings,
The blood and life within those snowy fingers
Teach witchcraft to the instrumental strings.
My brain is wild, my breath comes quick--
The blood is listening in my frame,
And thronging shadows, fast and thick,
Fall on my overflowing eyes;
My heart is quivering like a flame;
As morning dew, that in the sunbeam dies,
I am dissolved in these consuming ecstasies.
IV.
I have no life, Constantia, now, but thee,
Whilst, like the world-surrounding air, thy song
Flows on, and fills all things with melody.--
Now is thy voice a tempest swift and strong,
On which, like one in trance upborne,
Secure o'er rocks and waves I sweep,
Rejoicing like a cloud of morn.
Now 'tis the breath of summer night,
Which when the starry waters sleep,
Round western isles, with incense-blossoms bright,
Lingering, suspends my soul in its voluptuous flight.

A Night In Babylon.
We whom to-night Love keeps awake
For his own joy, may one day break
Our fast in some Lethéan cave,
When we but a faint memory have,
Or none, of such dear nights as this.
Sweetheart! thy lips again to kiss,
Thy limbs to fold, though all ends thus
And time makes such poor wrecks of us,
Who feast to-night on Love's own food
As in a heavenly solitude,
And drink his wine, — this bliss of ours
Which makes our bodies bloom like flowers,
In whose quick scents our souls escape
We know not where — each wingéd shape
That haply shall elude the curse
When we have lost the universe
In this night's Babylonian heart —
Have then lost all that may impart
Life to the dead, the lust of that
On which the purple heart grows fat,
And thrills to prove that it can be
The bourne of its own ecstasy
Within a paradise whose skies
Have never known the sun to rise
Nor all the moony rapture wane!
Clasp me, Sweetheart! and kiss again
Until we have so drunk the light
Of this delirious sweet night
Our souls may nevermore be dry,
Though death our bodies may deny
The power to appease that thirst
Which Love's heat raised within us first
Ere he had taught our lips and eyes
The purport of his paradise,
And made the trembling senses take
The night for day, and keep awake
With all the strange delights that are
Under our Babylonian star
That came from chaos, it may be,
To guard our first night's mystery,
And let his cloak of glory lie
Over us, dear, who would not die.
Ah, Sweetheart! if all comes to this,
And we must lose the sum of bliss
(When we lie by the Lethéan wave
And know that nothing Love can save)
We may forget ourselves, and be
Content with Death's tranquillity.

The Proverbs Of Confucius
Threefold is the march of time
While the future slow advances,
Like a dart the present glances,
Silent stands the past sublime.
No impatience e'er can speed him
On his course if he delay;
No alarm, no doubts impede him
If he keep his onward way;
No regrets, no magic numbers
Wake the tranced one from his slumbers.
Wouldst thou wisely and with pleasure,
Pass the days of life's short measure,
From the slow one counsel take,
But a tool of him ne'er make;
Ne'er as friend the swift one know,
Nor the constant one as foe!
II.
Threefold is the form of space:
Length, with ever restless motion,
Seeks eternity's wide ocean;
Breadth with boundless sway extends;
Depth to unknown realms descends.
All as types to thee are given;
Thou must onward strive for heaven,
Never still or weary be
Would'st thou perfect glory see;
Far must thy researches go.
Wouldst thou learn the world to know;
Thou must tempt the dark abyss
Wouldst thou prove what Being is.
Naught but firmness gains the prize,--
Naught but fulness makes us wise,--
Buried deep, truth ever lies!

Song for Roxalie and Seth (Running)
running away
that's all I ever do
though I never thought
that I'd ever be running from you
shadows fall
across my soul, across my face
I wish that I could just come back
and take my rightful place
but my heart is racing, blood is pumping
can't believe I'm always running
away from my tears
because I never knew
my thoughts are whirling, head is spinning
can't believe I'm just beginning
to realize all you mean to me
when you're around my skies are blue
dreaming
that's all I ever do
but I never thought
that I'd have to just dream about being with you
pain is lurking
behind every twist and turn
but even after all I've been through
I guess I just never learn
now my heart is racing, blood is pumping
can't believe I'm always running
away from my tears
because I never knew
my thoughts are whirling, head is spinning
can't believe I'm just beginning
to realize all you mean to me
when you're around my skies are blue
please come back, we'll make this right
just take away this endless night
there's no reason to add up the score
we were both wrong, I admit
I don't blame you for calling it quits
but baby I'm not running anymore
now my heart is racing, blood is pumping
can't believe I'm always running
away from my tears
because I never knew
my thoughts are whirling, head is spinning
can't believe I'm just beginning
to realize all you mean to me
when you're around my skies are blue
please say I can always come home
to you

Death, Inevitable Death
Death, inevitable Death.
So now You come to show Your world,
Hence the blackened cloak – unfurled.
And peering down upon my form
– Bereft of pity – Your eyes of storm.
Death, inexorable Death.
‘When? ’ The only question out of Thee.
My dream retorts 'But ne’er for me! ’
But now awake, I bid you so –
My giving tears cry ‘Where to go? ’
Death, adamant Death.
You cast Your spell and guide me 'way,
For life and I have had our day.
And what of me? I prey You, tell!
Be glorious in Heaven or gnarled in Hell?
Death, ineluctable Death.
Oh wiry ghoul, I'm here to follow –
I leave my body grey and shallow.
‘Come! ’ You bid in thund’ring tones,
‘Beg farewell to shattered bones.’

Sonnet 18
Take away these fine delights
Put me out in bitter rain
I desire the love of my life
And that you can't change
Laugh and shake your head
Call me a fool for love's sake
My heart knows it all instead
It feels all that you may fake
Condemn the love that I feel
Tell me I'm so madly wrong
For my love is strong and real
In my very heart sings a song
You have no power or real say
For love is the only true way

Rue
The seemingly moving white cumuli
Above me drifting aimlessly away
Like youthful fantasies: old passerby’s
With muted roles in an unscripted play;
Foregone dreams with only one performance
Like yesterdays unique morning sunrise;
Witnessing it should never be left to chance
For the moment may end in sad good-byes.
Oh! The many forsaken dreams that died,
Aspirations that never dawned a day.
Oh! If only my orbs were wide-eyed
Instead of my groping every which way.
Alas! The clouds are a constant reminder
Of youthful dreams I let fade and wither.

Tears of the Greatest
oh! tears, holy are you who comes to my emptiness, of
where ever I go, you have been the mirror of what I am
true today who brings me tomorrow, and always in my
midst and night stay in my bedside play, until the last
minute of my last day, says a goodbye
you swift my deep slumber, hugging what I feel and
express in your honest tears, where the inner passion
of feeling resemble in my immortal soul, everything
desire the joy and the pain my heart adore
touch me, squeezes and grips my whole heart that grief,
leave me alone in the shadow of the wilderness and hold
me not to accept my triumphant happiness, where every
teardrops tell the meaning of myself, give me the
wisdom to hold the past and the memories that takes so
fast
now that i'm in your side, where do I go from here, where
should my loving feeling subdue when you did come
always to my way, you who have been in the path I’ve go,
believe that you will be with me until it last for a lifetime,
leaving the end of the day and longing to live in the end time
life wait me not, the tears I give it up, take me to live in
your loving mortal eye, will I’ve stay, look I'm always in your
way, sheltering the feeling of what you believe, shows
me of what is life is all about, for in every tears it fall there
is always a call and your heart I know is full
let my tears come and go, I waited you for me to show,
happiness and failure you wanted me to cried, for in every
teardrops you fall my heart leads you know, that my eyes
want you stay in every way I go, for in my journey, my tears
becomes in me……

Work
Let me but do my work from day to day,
In field or forest, at the desk or loom,
In roaring market-place or tranquil room;
Let me but find it in my heart to say,
When vagrant wishes beckon me astray,
"This is my work; my blessing, not my doom;
"Of all who live, I am the one by whom
"This work can best be done in the right way."
Then shall I see it not too great, nor small,
To suit my spirit and to prove my powers;
Then shall I cheerful greet the labouring hours,
And cheerful turn, when the long shadows fall
At eventide, to play and love and rest,
Because I know for me my work is best.

To A Proud Beauty ('A Valentine')
Though I have loved you well, I ween,
And you, too, fancied me,
Your heart hath too divided been
A constant heart to be.
And like the gay and youthful knight,
Who loved and rode away,
Your fleeting fancy takes a flight
With every fleeting day.
So let it be as you propose,
Tho' hard the struggle be ;
'Tis fitter far—that goodness knows !—
Since we cannot agree.
Let's quarrel once for all, my sweet,
Forget the past—and then
I'll kiss each pretty girl I meet,
While you'll flirt with the men.

The man who forgets does not forgive, he only loses the remembrance of the harm inflicted on him; forgiveness is the offspring of a feeling of heroism, of a noble heart, of a generous mind, whilst forgetfulness is only the result of a weak memory, or of an easy carelessness, and still oftener of a natural desire for calm and quietness. Hatred, in the course of time, kills the unhappy wretch who delights in nursing it in his bosom.

Garden Of Earthly Delights
Kid,
Stay and snip your cord off,
Talk and let your mind loose,
Cant all think like chekov,
But youll be o.k.
Kid,
Is this your first time here?
Some cant stand the beauty,
So they cut off one ear,
But youll be o.k.
Welcome to the garden of earthly delights.
Welcome to a billion arabian nights.
This is your life and you do what you want to do,
This is your life and you spend it all.
This is your life and you do what you want to do,
Just dont hurt nobody,
And the big rewards here,
In the garden of earthly delights.
Kid,
Pick up with another,
Some will even drop you,
But hearts are built like rubber,
So youll be alright.
Kid,
Swallow but believe us,
You wont die of boredom,
Should you have to leave us,
Itll be alright.
Welcome to the garden of earthly delights.
Welcome to a billion arabian nights.
This is your life and you do what you want to do,
This is your life and you spend it all.
This is your life and you do what you want to do,
Just dont hurt nobody,
less of course they ask you,
In the garden of earthly delights.
Welcome to the garden of earthly delights.
Welcome to a billion arabian nights.

Staight Back
Written by stevie nicks.
What can I say this time
Which card shall I play
The dream is not over,
The dream is just away
And you will fly like some little wing straight back to the sun
The dream was never over
The dream has just begun
The dream has just begun
Fingers find the ivory keys
And a song begins to begin l
Like a wolf on the run
And you will find while in the wind something that you lost
The dream was never over, no
The dream was only lost
(hours and hours of waiting for you,
So strong and so fleeting)
The dream has just begun
(and hours of waiting for you...
In hopes of meeting)
The dream has just begun
(this way)
Well, the dream has just begun
She remembers how good it can be
He remembers a melody
Ah, in the shadow of my shadow in a gleam
He remembers how good it can be
She remembers a melody
Well, in the shadow of my shadow in a gleam
(hours and hours of waiting for you
So strong and so fleeting)
The dream has just begun
(hours and hours of waiting this way...
Meeting, me)
Hours of waiting for you
(so strong and so fleeting)
The dream has just begun...
(meeting this way)
Straight back now
(hours and hours of waiting
So strong and so fleeting)
Hours and hours waiting this way
Hours and hours of waiting this way
Straight back
Straight back
Straight back... yeah!
He remembers a melody
He remembers how good it can be

The U-Boat Crew
ALAS, alas for those blond boys who stalk
Their prey in ambush of the shuddering seas,
Whiling the wait with merry, tender talk
Of some dear knot of flower-clad cottages
Beyond the Rhine! The merchantship draws on;
Their swift torpedo strikes its mark; the sea
Moans with the dying; for a victory won
They thank the pagan god of Germany.
Happier to die the hideous, smothering death,
Too deep for mercy, in their own snared trap,
Than live to learn how time interpreteth
The cause they served; the tragical mishap
Of pride that pledged The Day and brought The Night;
—Than live to loathe their Fatherland, a name
So high, so fallen, that betrayed their bright
Young loyalty to savageries of shame.
