could'nt help a-tall
The words were just walked away
and now I felt a crack
in foundations hall

There was no reason in it's rhyme
A senseless killing
A latter day bosnia
Line by line
word by word
down to the smallest letter

A shudder, another crack
Watch my foundation's back
As black papered coffins
burried beneath smooth headstones
just in ashes deep
in all our fears

All those words cast out to the winds
of time lost in eternity
Shudder and twice crack
and the tombs come down
Crushing poems in World Trade fashion
And l am lost and ready to coave in

Crack Attack

You stand there, stutter, brains like butter,
You dissed your father, sister, your mother,
Times have tried too hard to your answer to give up instead of live up,
To the stance of a man, understand that Im a right hand,
Five out of five will die, from crack and on my left the birth the same and the same birth (? ),
The kid once did and now his death is echoed around the world for all to hear,
So lets have a merry new year
Yo grace, school em.
Theyre lost now, taken over, crack attack,

Theres a little boy who lives down the way,
I heard hes crazy from crack in his brain,
Hes lost now, hes taken over, crack attack,

Though I wonder who is to blame,
All this epidemic is driving me insane, all of it,
I see the kids dying in the streets,
Whoever makes one, theyre going lose his way,

Stuck in the middle, and dont know where to go,
Theyve got so now, theyre living for the blow,
They get it babe, doing it for the thrill,

You want your mind, your body and soul,

The Poem That Is Not Good Enough

THE POEM THAT IS NOT GOOD ENOUGH

The poem that is not good enough
Awkwardly fumbles from line to line
Does not hear its own music
Has none.
Its words are larger than its feelings
Its Ideas overwhelm its words
It proclaims a Beauty it cannot reveal.

The poem that is not good enough
Pretends to be a poem
It has birds and flowers and trees and winds
which are names alone.
The Poem which is not good enough
does not touch the Heart
has little Soul
puts everyone to sleep before they finish
beginning it.

A Poem that is not good enough
Just does not Live

And who am I?
And what are you?
And why are we?

Crack The Code

I want the words
something you havent heard
will I find them and
will I have what it takes to say them
in the world beside
this one there are no lies and
no suspicion
only dreams without end
You gotta feel what I mean
Look into my eyes and know
Im trying to come clean
But I stumble every time
And then the words they escape
fail to take shape
Its all in the code now (come again)

Sometimes my words lack and my mind flies off the track
What Im trying to convey is miles from what I say

In life there are times
when nothing will rhyme
there are days I slip
when I know I should climb
breakin the vows I swore Id never break
a harsh word a white lie easy to mistake
where have you been
havent you noticed
theres no map that exists
to point us out of this
my heart was the target
it found your arrow

your straight and narrow
I been trying to transmit a feeling
I been hoping you receive what Im revealing
See the main thing is hang with me and relate
As we communicate watch out

when lights are not guiding
and the words unspoken and hiding
feeling stuck no forwards no back

when meanings are not felt
and feelings not spelled
and spellings stay on rack

Modern Day Poet

I am the modern day poet you know
that must make words that easily flow.
For to just present words that ramble on
is to yield forth words that soon are gone.

They're gone from the listener and reader too,
who cannot reason or cannot view
how the words just seem to sit on a page
allowed to sit and yellow with age.

Words must be caressed and also thrive
to take on rhythms which come alive,
alive in the memory that through the ear
has taken it in and holds it dear.

And so in each poem I have my say.
And so in each poem my words do sway
back and forth like a front porch swing
giving my poem a magical ring.

I never allow dullness to come into play
for then my poem will be thrown away
into the piles of poems never read
because they're too hard to keep in the head.

So over and over it's become my style
to enchant the reader for a little while,
making them remember the lilting rhyme
that got into my head one word at a time.

If The Poems Keep Flowing

IF THE POEMS KEEP FLOWING

If the poems keep flowing
And the metaphors ripen on the trees
And the dreams say words even they do not understand
And all life in sound becomes a magical prescence of music
If all good things come in this process of writing
And my silence is forever stricken from the record of Time
Then why and how and where and must will I become again
Carry me along taddy like you done at the toy fair?

So after all the years of reading
Lost too in the flow of the words of others
Unable to hear myself without hearing them
Because all other poets are the poet I am and would be
And all I take in me slowly memorizing line by line phrase by phrase word by word
Is a kind of blessing
Which even this hushed hearing now cannot really explain
Or take away on the river of lost light forever

Writting

When i feel lost lonely and have nowhere to go,
the words keep me company and im a loner no more,
Letters come together in my minds free flowing from my
heart,
Two letters one letter many letters make up words,
Long words short word
bring up sentences that form up,
my concious wades throught them picking seeking to join
short and long and make it work,
No rules to my word play anything u want can stay a
concortion a work of art,
Am lost in emotions,
lost in expressions,
pronouns adjectives and nouns,
Lay them straight,
hang them down they still are need a flow to make a sweet
sound,
The rhyme,
the time is put into consideration when iplay with all my words,
My best friend is my pen, my paper and my head there is no limit to what i can,
Its a poem am at it a work of art in progress i love the work
of my hands...

In this world of infinite words
So many poems have already been written,

Therefore any new poem simply seems to cry out its own non- necessity-

Weren’t there stars before there were poems?
And won’t there be light somewhere else

And in all the great Silence before and ever after
won’t there be the being of something real however unsaid and unknown?

Cease one day to be and never again know that they are?

With the force of a steam train,

Everything lacks perfection
In the smallest particle there’s a flaw
Imperfection is our protection
Imperfection’s an immutable law

There’s a tiny crack in everything
But tis how the light’s let in

There exists no perfect circle
An impossibility, a linear line
Nor persists a faultless square
Nor a truly enlightened mind
