It Is My Pleasure
It is my pleasure
It is like making love to you
The better the poem
The hotter I get
And my words
Are all I have to make
You feel my passion
Until that day
I will ravage your body
With my vowels
And my pronouns will
Lick you insane
And my nouns will I
Penetrate you with and
Adjectives will pound
And pound and pound
Viciously until you come
And my subjectives
Will drain all
My pretense into you
Hot Hot Words
And all english grammar too

Rock Away
Stay on it.
Pray on it.
Don't give up,
'Til you own it.
And...
Pound, pound that rock away!
Don't let it get to you another day,
Oh!
Get a pick and shovel pieces of it...
To a place where it will stay.
Oooow!
p-p-p Pound, pound that rock away.
Don't let it get to you another day,
Oh!
tick-tick-tick,
Get a pick...
And shovel pieces of it to a place,
Where you know it will stay!
Take it off your constant meter.
Make your heated sweat,
Even sweeter.
Give it up to the gripper,
Quicker.
Slicker.
Live your life lived that much richer.
And...
Pound, pound that rock away!
Don't let it get to you another day,
Oh!
Get a pick and shovel pieces of it...
To a place,
Where...
It will stay.
You will not feel free,
Until that beast has been ceased.
Stay on it.
Pray on it.
Don't give up,
'Til you own it.
Stay on it.
Pray on it.
Don't give up,
'Til you own it.
p-p-p Pound, pound that rock away.

Writting
When i feel lost lonely and have nowhere to go,
the words keep me company and im a loner no more,
Letters come together in my minds free flowing from my
heart,
Two letters one letter many letters make up words,
Long words short word
bring up sentences that form up,
my concious wades throught them picking seeking to join
short and long and make it work,
No rules to my word play anything u want can stay a
concortion a work of art,
Am lost in emotions,
lost in expressions,
pronouns adjectives and nouns,
Lay them straight,
hang them down they still are need a flow to make a sweet
sound,
The rhyme,
the time is put into consideration when iplay with all my words,
My best friend is my pen, my paper and my head there is no limit to what i can,
Its a poem am at it a work of art in progress i love the work
of my hands...

Ill Take Love
(words & music by fuller / barkon)
Some people think that pot of gold
Is all they ever want to hold
But theres a treasure, I think more of
Measure for measure .. Ill take love
Some people think that their success
Is all they need for happiness
But theres a pleasure, I think more of
Measure for measure .. Ill take love
Pound for pound oh yeah and
Ounce for ounce love is all that really counts
So let them have their wealth and fame
Eat caviar and drink champagne
Youre all the treasure Im dreaming of
Measure for measure .. Ill take love
Pound for pound oh yeah and
Ounce for ounce love is all that really counts
So let them have their wealth and fame
Eat caviar and drink champagne
Youre all the treasure Im dreaming of
Measure for measure .. Ill take love
Ill take love, Ill take love
Ill take love, Ill take love

I was voted best-looking kid in high school but, as you can see, things changed. I used to say I was a 260 pound Woody Allen. You can make that 295 pound now.

Easy Come, Easy Go
(words & music by weisman / wayne)
Easy come, easy go
Here, there, everywhere, crazy love is in the air
Nightfall, mmm, day and nightfall
So many girls in every port
You gotta be a juggernaut
Full speed ahead or youll be caught
Oh yeah! oh yeah!
Easy come, easy go
Up, down, all around, kiss and kiss
And pound for pound, delicious
Mmm so nutritious
Sailor beware take it slow
Easy come, easy go
All right!
When you want love to keep you warm
Theres nothing like a uniform
You got a port in any storm
There she blows
Easy come, easy go
Up, down, all around, kiss and kiss
And pound for pound, delicious
Mmm so nutritious
Sailor beware take it slow
Easy come, easy go
Sailor beware take it slow
Easy come, easy go
Easy come, easy go
Easy come, easy go
Easy come, easy go
Easy come, easy go
Easy come, easy go

Pound's crazy. All poets are. They have to be. You don't put a poet like Pound in the loony bin.

Sigmund Freuds Impersonation Of Albert Einstein In America
The world of science is my game
And albert einstein is my name
I was born in germany
And Im happy yo be
Here in the land of the brave and the free
In the year of nineteen five
Merely trying to survive
Took my knapsack in my hand
Caught a train for switzerland
America, america
God shed his grace on thee
You have whipped the philipino
Now you rule the western sea
Americans dream of gypsies, I have found
Gypsy knives and gypsy thighs
That pound and pound and pound and pound
And african appendages that almost reach the ground
And little boys playing baseball in the rain
America, america
Step out into the light
Youre the best dream man has ever dreamed
And may all your christmases be white

There never was a five-pound note but there was a ten-pound road for it.
Words And Words
let us have an illusion of words
mesmerize ourselves with the movements of its verbs
and pretend about the beautiful feeling of its adjectives
let nothing be too personal about nouns
let us not be too excited about some interjections
let us shy away from so many questions
no orders, no imperatives no coercions
for tonight let there be only demonstrative pronouns
lips kissing, arms embracing, neck petting,
thighs making on top of each other hands entwine
fingers running, abdomens ebbing
let all be not just wishes, let it not just be on subjunctive moods
let there be verbs of romance, let there be sentences of lust
let us forget for once the word much abused by all:
i do not wish to utter it, let not love be feigned.

Ice Handler
I know an ice handler who wears a flannel shirt with pearl buttons the size of a dollar,
And he lugs a hundred-pound hunk into a saloon ice-box, helps himself to cold ham and rye bread,
Tells the bartender it’s hotter than yesterday and will be hotter yet to-morrow, by Jesus,
And is on his way with his head in the air and a hard pair of fists.
He spends a dollar or so every Saturday night on a two hundred pound woman who washes dishes in the Hotel Morrison.
He remembers when the union was organized he broke the noses of two scabs and loosened the nuts so the wheels came off six different wagons one morning, and he came around and watched the ice melt in the street.
All he was sorry for was one of the scabs bit him on the knuckles of the right hand so they bled when he came around to the saloon to tell the boys about it.

Poem
I pound the concrete
Way too wired to sleep;
In just the ecstacy of it all
And the brillant colours of Fall;
Laid wide open am i
Oh so vunerable to the grey sky;
Overwhelmed by much emotion
And a seasons worth of utter devotion;
Replaying old love letters in my mind
So many words there do i find;
As i walk this busy street
Still too wired to sleep;
In the ecstacy of it all
Mixed with the rich colours of Fall;
I remember a better time
When my words always turned to rhyme;
Automatically it seems
But unreal as if from a dream;
Into a rhapsody ever clear
Of two beating hearts so very near;
This melody 'tis so sweet
As i pound this street of concrete;
The gentle harmony of two hearts
Rings ever so true
At long long last
A poem of me and of you;

You were saying that once when visiting Yale, you were struck that unlike Pound, Williams's thinking was volatile, I mean, did not stay locked into a pattern of concepts that then defined his subsequent necessary behavior, whereas Pound did.

passion pounds in raw flesh knowing need

Hail All Masters Of Small Spinning Ball
In England people believe; a football player
can earn 100 000 pound a week;
apparently that is okay he is; obviously worth
100 000 pound such skill such skill;
obviously this is what such ball; skill is worth?
But a nurse serving the sick
the ill the dying is not worth
more than 30 000 pound a year
more than 30 000 pound a year
angel nurse cannot be worth?
National scandal oh dear King Lear
a banker cannot be worth
that massive massive bonus
not while nation suffers recession fear?
What skill control of financial markets
employment opportunities health care
education but but only a mere banker
what is a banker compared to a football player?
Hail Hail all masters of a small spinning ball
worth a 100 000 pound a week such skill such skill.

The Auld Wife
PART I
The auld wife sat at her ivied door,
(Butter and eggs and a pound of cheese)
A thing she had frequently done before;
And her spectacles lay on her apron’d knees.
The piper he pip’d on the hill-top high,
(Butter and eggs and a pound of cheese)
Till the cow said, “I die,” and the goose asked “Why?”
And the dog said nothing, but search’d for fleas.
The farmer he strode through the square farmyard;
(Butter and eggs and a pound of cheese)
His last brew of ale was a trifle hard,
The connection of which with the plot one sees.
The farmer’s daughter hath frank blue eyes;
(Butter and eggs and a pound of cheese)
She hears the rooks caw in the windy skies,
As she sits at her lattice and shells her peas.
The farmer’s daughter hath ripe red lips;
(Butter and eggs and a pound of cheese)
If you try to approach her away she skips
Over tables and chairs with apparent ease.
The farmer’s daughter hath soft brown hair;
(Butter and eggs and a pound of cheese)
And I met with a ballad, I can’t say where,
Which wholly consisted of lines like these.
PART II
She sat with her hands ’neath her dimpled cheeks,
(Butter and eggs and a pound of cheese)
And spake not a word. While a lady speaks
There is hope, but she did n’t even sneeze.
She sat with her hands ’neath her crimson cheeks;
(Butter and eggs and a pound of cheese)
She gave up mending her father’s breeks,
And let the cat roll in her best chemise.
She sat with her hands ’neath her burning cheeks,
(Butter and eggs and a pound of cheese)
And gaz’d at the piper for thirteen weeks;
Then she follow’d him out o’er the misty leas.
Her sheep follow’d her, as their tails did them,
(Butter and eggs and a pound of cheese)
And this song is consider’d a perfect gem;
And as to the meaning, it ’s what you please.

Of words and feathers, it takes many to make a pound.
A Poets Mind
In a poets mind,
silence has stopped chatter,
traffic noise, childish play.
A hum from a distance sings,
words begin to congregate.
Choosing nouns, verbs and
adjectives, words collected
from the gentle light…..
Lines of tenderness and love
merge into a lovers pledge.
Music for her mind,
sonnet of love and promise
to adore forevermore.

Together no never
Circumstances are not on our side
The laws by which we must abide
Too close and I know it
Too close and they sense it
But it was them that brought us together
Only to make us wether
Through this
A hit that became a miss
Each time we get closer
How to escape this feeling I'm unsure
Late nights
Playful fights
New sites
And sounds
Pound for pound
We match each other
But to be together
We can never

Solomon To Sheba
SANG Solomon to Sheba,
And kissed her dusky face,
'All day long from mid-day
We have talked in the one place,
All day long from shadowless noon
We have gone round and round
In the narrow theme of love
Like a old horse in a pound.-
To Solomon sang Sheba,
Plated on his knees,
'If you had broached a matter
That might the learned please,
You had before the sun had thrown
Our shadows on the ground
Discovered that my thoughts, not it,
Are but a narrow pound.'
Said Solomon to Sheba,
And kissed her Arab eyes,
'There's not a man or woman
Born under the skies
Dare match in learning with us two,
And all day long we have found
There's not a thing but love can make
The world a narrow pound.'
