Otherside

Somewhere in the mystic future, on the road to Paradise,
There’s a very pleasant country that I’ve dreamed of once or twice,
It has inland towns, and cities by the ocean’s rocky shelves,
But the people of the country differ somewhat from ourselves;
It is many leagues beyond us, and they call it Otherside.
And there is among its people more Humanity than Pride.

Now, a social system never was complete, without a flaw,
And among the Othersiders there is love and gold and war.
But if one is fairly beaten he can turn upon the track,
For in such a case there isn’t any shame in going back;
And a broken-hearted mortal never thinks of suicide,
For he finds amongst his brothers more Humanity than Pride.

And the lords of that creation never scoff at simple things,
Never scorn the lad who’s tethered to his mother’s apron-strings.
He will speak of “home” and “mother” without shame when he’s inclined,
Yet the blow he strikes in battle mostly leaves a mark behind.
They are brave against invasion; they can die in Otherside,
Though there is among the people more Humanity than Pride.

Poets sing in simple language that a child might understand,
Yet their songs are sung for ages by the elders of the land;
And the people know that Freedom never shall be wanting guards,
For the foremost in the vanguard waves the banner of the Bards.
O the poets march together, and at home in peace abide,
For there is amongst the people more Humanity than Pride.

And when I am very weary, ’neath a load of “worldly care”,
There are times when I’ve a longing just to hump my bluey there;
But alone I could not reach it, for the track is barred to one—
I must take the nations with me—all mankind must go, or none—
And we’d trample one another on the way to Otherside,
For I find among my brothers less Humanity than Pride.

The time has come for me to say goodbye to you.
I want to stay with you forever mum but I can not do so.
Becuase a distant voice told me it was time to go back home.

My painful crap life with relife is to end.
For there aint nothing left for me now.
I know you'll never accept my last jorney.
But it is with peace that I go.

But where ever I am.
No that I never ever meant to cuase you pain.
If you want to see me look to the sky.

I no it will be hard for you but your life must go on.

The curtains closed
All the doors are locked
The flickering of a light
With your ear to the wall

Not a soul on that otherside

We take for granted

Fear in me so deep

Through A Transparent Tear...

a night of drumming rain
woke up into an unusually
fresh winter morning
of drizzle and tickling breeze
laced by lazy chillness
the languid nerves of the night
looked for some stirring to
help them out of a tempting bed...

a breeze brushing past the sea
a breeze traversing across
the imposing dolphin's nose
a breeze caressing the leaves
buds and flowers even in earthen
pots laden heavy absorbing
the live long passion of the clouds
a breeze filling all that it touched
on the little bit of earth around me
a breeze pervading my little sky
caused me come alive...

how is it possible, i wondered
insulated as i was from the
animate and the inanimate
on the otherside with equal vogour

i looked around my accustomed
emptiness in wonder
trying to find the source

need i tell you
the source revealed itself
as your breath on me?

the heart that came alive
on this winter morning
of drizzle and breeze
shed a tear of longing
even while my body
smiled...

well i believe there's something watching over you
they're watching every single thing you say
and when you die they'll set you down and take you through
you'll realise one day that the grass is always greener on the other side
the neighbour's got a new car that you wanna dry
and when time is running out you wanna stay alive
we all live under the same sky

there is no wrong

the circle only has one side
we all try hard to live our lives in harmony

Could he Love her to Eternity?

' You are the queen of my heart! ',
he said to his classmate from a rich family.
' Are you a prince to love me? ', she queried,
and drove him away with fiery looks.
' You're the Juliet in my heart! ', he mumbled,
to a doctor in the peak of her trade.
' Like Romeo, you die first.I make an autopsy
of your body to find out love in your heart,
and I die next', She yelled in Bret Lee's pace.
He came out with a sweaty face.
'With the recession in IT field, no dog looks at me',
he thought, and with guts, said to a lecturer.
' I will love you even beyond my last breath'.
' Many-a-boyfriend have recited this line to me
and fled off the scene like bees.Search in face-book',
she, the daughter of intercaste parents, said with tears.
' Don't you be kind and hurl a glance on me? ,
he begged a girl sitting on a bench in the park.
' Show me your right hand palm', she pulled his hand
and said: ' The heartline breaks in the halfway. I'm sorry',
she turned her face to the otherside.
When he was shambling towards the exit,
the promises of a lover to his love, fell in his ears.

All because I never believed

A simple lie had been told
Soon the truth unfolds
She lied, tricked and deceived
So I believed my son had committed the evil deed
His future behind metal bars
His life would become so dreary
I silenced the witness so my son could roam free
As the sun rose, uniformed men littered my lawn
Sirens not sparing my eardrums
BOOM! ! went the door as they kicked it in
I barricaded my son from the men
They slowly stepped towards me and my son
I closed my eyes and cried
The reality hit me my son was going to jail for murder
I opened my eyes only to see me in cuffs
The officer said ' You're under arrest for Maria is dead'
My son's accusation was due to an identity mix-up
My son innocent and I guilty
If I had believed his assurance of innocence
I would'nt be digging for freedom with a spoon
I would be on the otherside of the bars

I'll Be Outside In The Car...Waiting

They will welcome you.
And shower you with accolades.
You will feel embraced and accepted.
UNTIL...
You do or suggest something said,
That is in their best interest...
They dislike and despise.
With a dismissing of your efforts,
Of wanting to be too close to them.
Your jaw will drop.
And your eyes will pop from your head.

Then they will attempt to shred you apart!
Quicker than a rabid bobcat...
Leaving you with memories,
Of their viciousness...
You will not soon forget.

'Comeon! Don't be so negative.
THESE people?
They are my friends.
You just don't like them,
Because they are outgoing.
And extremely cordial.
That's all they have shown to me thus far! '

You will discover,
Just how far outgoing they can be.
You go ahead and make that speech,
About what it is you can do!
For 'them' not 'you'...
And the proof will be yours forever,
For you to believe, see and keep!
