A Born Crook
Fact: a bright British lad, by name J.Crook
has today been extradited to San Diego
under a 'one-way' treaty with the US (yah boo unfair)
to face fraud charges relating to
a software company
which could make it difficult
for prosecution and defence lawyers
addressing him formally
in their different ways
how close are tragedy and comedy sometimes

Relating To A Psychopath
hot like hot wings with hot chocolate in hell
cold like in my isolation cell
in the winter
while kissing mr. freeze
take the weather man
and blow him away
love is a desert and i need it to rain
you are so good at keeping me company
you are relating to a psychopath
your role model is in therapy
you must be real far gone
you're relating to a psychopath
noah's elephants are leaving the ark in eights
during the upside of my manic depressive state
crickets sing in 3 part harmony
i try to walk away
i choke and i stumble
i'm flying back so listen close when i mumble
that you are so good at keeping me company
you are relating to a psychopath
your role model is in therapy
you must be real far gone
you're relating to a psychopath
it never adds up when you do your math
you're relating to a psychopath
yes i'm real far gone
you're relating to a psychopath
medication is slow
and it's when it kicks in
that my mind chooses to go
my feel better begins
just when i get attached
it ends
it's insane
so i remain a psycho
1 2 3 4
cartoon figures dance in my head
i said
love is butter won't you be my bread
you are so good at keeping me company
you are relating to a psychopath
your role model is in therapy
you must be real far gone
you're relating to a psychopath
it never adds up when you do your math
you're relating to a psychopath
yes i'm real far gone
you're relating to a psychopath
oh a psychopath
i am demented
my mind is bendin'
my brain is twisted
baby keep me company
you must be a psycho too
love is butter won't you be my bread
that's what i said
psychotic
psychosis
my manic depressive state is great
on the upside
it's the love side
love is butter won't you be my bread
did you hear what i said

Comedy is much more difficult than tragedy-and a much better training, I think. It's much easier to make people cry than to make them laugh.

However, writing software without defects is not sufficient. In my experience, it is at least as difficult to write software that is safe - that is, software that behaves reasonably under adverse conditions.

Example of....?
Gary McKinnon, searching for proof, from under his London roof.
For U.F.O.s and 'Aliens', U.S.A. want to extradite for his crimes.
Hacked into their computer systems, causing them 'problems'.
With relative ease, their 'pride' he did squeeze.
Extradition to the U.S.A, rules not same for the U.K.
They, no evidence really required, all one sided.
All our courts rejected his appeal, 'hidden' agenda to conceal?
Plus the European court, his case still being fought.
That extradition 'treaty', is a joke, a travesty
Yes he caused them embarrassment, for our and their government.!
He admits he did wrong, accessing data from NASA and the Pentagon.
Millions of dollars of 'damage' done, McKinnon denies that sum!
He could face sixty years in prison, if extradited to them,
A crime has been done, however he hasn't 'murdered' anyone!
They shouldn't demonize and try to prosecute, but should utilize his skills and recruit.
The Brit' a 'terrorist' he's been branded, left out and stranded.
The U.S simply lost face, the treaty doesn't represent true justice.
If he is to face trial, it should be on British soil.
The crime was committed in Britain, that is for certain.
Our Government drags its heels, despite high profile appeals.
Ignoring his mental condition, let alone the whole situation.
Still no outcome, I hope justice is done.

There are two ways of constructing a software design. One way is to make it so simple that there are obviously no deficiencies, and the other way is to make it so complicated that there are no obvious deficiencies. The first method is far more difficult.

Some Who Care
A defect seems appalling to some who care,
Surely the experience is solid for those in care.
Dangers surround us when we are awake,
Leading us astray, opening the wall.
My defence offends me, destroys me and you,
The thoughts are slender, fully absorbing,
To the defence and the prosecution.
My disappointments are numbered,
Kicking my mind, and my torso.

Wanting 'Things' Never Seems To End
Teased with a wish of wanting 'things',
Never seems to end.
Until an aging with maturity begins
And the payments of keeping those dreams,
Seem to numb when they come...
With the changing done to one's priorities.
And difficult as it is to focus,
On that which one wishes brings happiness.
With that eventually happening,
To surprise one wanting just the basics of life...
Over the obtaining of having things just to keep,
After addressing the impression made on others.
To recognize the difference between wants and needs,
Is the first step in weeding away fluff stuff.
And that which feeds on ego with late charges to make,
Attached to overdraft fees.
Awakening to the basicness of happiness,
Relieves one from nightmares of attempting to make ends meet.

Tribal Ways (Enemies of Match)
Every man with an opinion
Equal in valour and in strength equal
At the advent of the British
Who were carrying the flag
Of the queen with intentions
To conquer the lions and wolves
The British from India
Offered to make a few nabobs
The reply was that we are all nabobs
Can you make all nabobs
In retreat then a titular representation
In treaty like with sovereigns
With each tribe the British
Gave respect to the traditions
Commanded respect
Enemies of match
They laid arms
To each other
And the rest would follow
Between lovers of freedom
On the land they said theirs
And many more claimants
For the soil and souls
For the minds and ferocity

A Defence
Late, plate, hate, slate, mate, fate, date, ate;
Wisdom is a defence but love is the key,
And like the muse of your love in the land of lovers.
Paste, waste, caste, baste, haste;
Money is a defence but love is the key,
And like the muse of your love in the land of monkeys.
Sin, win, pin, fin, gin, thin, ain, bin, din, kin, min, tin, yin!
Money is a defence and wisdom is a defence;
And like the ways of your acts in the land of your muse,
But i am here today with the true works of my hands.

In the wars of the European powers in matters relating to themselves we have never taken any part, not does it comport with our policy so to do. It is only when our rights are invaded or seriously menaced that we resent injuries or make preparation for our defence.

Witness 4 The Prosecution
I am a witness 4 the prosecution of a hate in this love affair
I who am guilty of nothing but always wantin' 2 be there
Mama, I swear I love U, I always have
In school I once traded chairs
If I couldn't be near U, I wanted what was yours
Now I just want U 2 care
I am a witness (Witness)
I am a witness 4 the prosecution of a hate in this love affair
(Witness 4 the prosecution)
Aah yeah
Whatever it is U think that I did
U're wrong, I wouldn't even dare
Cuz U know
I am a witness 4 the prosecution of a hate in this love affair
(Witness 4 the prosecution)
Yes I am
Don't U know I am ...
I am a witness, witness (Witness 4 the prosecution)
Witness 4 the prosecution {x2}
I am a witness 4 the prosecution of a hate in this love affair, yeah
I who am guilty of nothing but always wantin' 2 be there, be there
Oh, I swear by heaven I love U, I always have
In school I once traded chairs
If I couldn't be near U, I wanted what was yours
Now I just want U 2 care
I am a witness 4 the prosecution of a hate in this love affair
(Witness 4 the prosecution)
Yes I am
Let me tell U, whatever it is U think that I did
U're wrong, I wouldn't even dare
No, no, no (Witness 4 the prosecution)
(Witness 4 the prosecution)
(Witness 4 the prosecution)
Witness, witness
Witness, witness
Witness, ooh, witness
Witness 4 the prosecution of a hate in this love affair
Witness, witness
Witness 4 the prosecution {x2}

Defending The Lady
Defence prolongs indifference aloud,
It tastes the worth, it makes one cry too fast,
I work on those despairing in the crowd,
Then wonders cease, the worlds shall be amassed.
On clouds we speak, on lines we dab and cry
The luck of gases and the solids here,
Defence is understanding my ally,
The wails and small acts may now appear.
Choose ways that know and concentrate above,
Here ways are certain and they are fixed now,
Their honesty shall blame them with a shove,
One lady creeps behind the face’s brow.
One hears and sees the face of splendour there,
Like modesty it shimmers faster care.

I think doing comedy is more difficult than doing noncomedic or tragic or whatever you want to call it. Because it's difficult to make all kinds of different audiences understand what you're doing, and moving you to laughter.

San Diego
I've got one thing left to say
I hope that things turn out OK
Maybe some day you will come around
Mabye we're too self-obsessed, materialistic, over-sexed
Energizers, silicone, aviators, mobile phones
I'll tell you one thing, gonna make it
Start a new life, be connected
Cause you will never see me drown, I'll build a ship when bridges burn
I don't want to fall back in, defenses down when eyes are staring in, staring in
San Diego (San Diego) that's where I'll go (that's where I'll go)
We'll watch the waves rise yeah as bodies glisten in the sun
San Diego sounds like fun
I just wanna find that place, journey into outer space
Watch the world through telescopes, send back photos to the folks
I'll tell you one thing, gonna make it
Start a new life, be connected
Cause you will never see me drown, I'll build a ship when bridges burn, yeah
I don't want to fall back in, defenses down when eyes are staring in, staring in
San Diego (San Diego) that's where I'll go (that's where I'll go)
We'll watch the waves rise yeah as bodies glisten in the sun
San Diego (San Diego) that's where I'll go (that's where I'll go)
We'll watch the waves rise yeah as bodies glisten in the sun
San Diego sounds like fun, fun
Me, myself I always burn my fears away
as substance turns me into something I can't be
San Diego (San Diego) that's where I'll go (that's where I'll go)
We'll watch the waves rise yeah as bodies glisten in the sun
San Diego (San Diego) that's where I'll go (that's where I'll go)
We'll watch the waves rise yeah as bodies glisten in the sun
San Diego (San Diego) that's where I'll go (that's where I'll go)
We'll watch the waves rise yeah as bodies glisten in the sun
