0052 Herrick on his Julia's clothes
Whenas in silks my Julia goes,
Till, then, methinks, how sweetly flows
That liquefaction of her clothes!
But when she dons her miniskirt, me-
-thinks but briefly; asks her curtly -
Mistress, let's get down and dirty...

That brave vibration each way free ;
O how that glittering taketh me !

Julia
Half of what I say is meaningless
But I say it just to reach you
Julia
Julia
Julia
Oceanchild
Calls me
So I sing a song of love
Julia
Julia
Seashell eyes
Windy smile
So I sing a song of love
Julia
Her hair of floating sky is shimmering
Glimmering
In the sun
Julia
Julia
Morning moon
Touch me
So I sing a song of love
Julia
When I cannot sing my heart
I can only speak my mind
Julia
Julia
Sleeping sand
Silent cloud
Touch me
So I sing a song of love
Julia
Calls me
So I sing a song of love
For julia

Julia
Eyes so bright, so big and wide
Make you feel so strange
Somewhere deep inside
Its the face of an angel
Soul of the devil may care
How Id love to know
What goes on in there
She needs your love
She needs it every day
But speak of love
See her laugh and run away
Julia, which way will you go
Julia, I wanna know
Julia, only the moon and stars
Julia, know just where you are
Julia
See the dance that needs no alibi
Oh you dont need to dream
When you know you can fly
She needs your love
She needs it every day
But speak of love
See her laugh and run away
Julia, which way will you go
Julia, I wanna know
Julia, only the moon and stars
Julia, know just where you are

Beginning (Love Poem)
She watches him across the restaurant
She likes his smile and easy laugh
She know nothing ventured
She chooses sexy hello
She knows it works
She bumps him
She smiles
He laughs
He thinks “nice”
He wants to know
He knows a smile will work
He wonders if she will say yes
He likes the way she came on to him
He tries the pickup “do you come here often? ”
She thinks that will never work with her
She thinks he is just like everyman
She thought he was different
She asks him “no, do you? ”
She wants an excuse
She was mistaken
She says “Bye”
He looks sad
He asks her to sit
He says “even for me”
He looks deep into her eyes
He says “that was unnecessary”
He feels a hole deep inside him grow
He knows she is “the one”, he is afraid to lose.

Licia Sonnets 31
Whenas her lute is tunéd to her voice,
The air grows proud for honour of that sound,
And rocks do leap to show how they rejoice
That in the earth such music should be found.
Whenas her hair more worth, more pale than gold,
Like silver thread lies waiting in the air,
Diana-like she looks, but yet more bold;
Cruel in chase, more chaste and yet more fair.
Whenas she smiles, the clouds for envy breaks;
She Jove in pride encounters with a check;
The sun doth shine for joy whenas she speaks;
Thus heaven and earth do homage at her beck.
Yet all these graces, blots, not graces are,
If you, my love, of love do take no care.

My Dear Mistress
My dear mistress
You put on your make up
You put on your fancy cloths
Your services paid for in good dues
Dirty laundry in high places is kept
Every night inside the soul is wept
But still you go on yet
As you have always done
As you are doing right now
As you always will
Past
Present
Future
Till you're used up goods
All alone
Nobody wants you
Nobody ever wanted you for you
With an sensational appetite to violate you in every way
One after another
Running a train of the elite
Money you come to love so well
Will be your hell
For upon acquiring it people come at you for different reasons.
To take you for everything you have
My dear mistress
I can only pray for your forgiveness

Dirty White Boy
Hey, baby, if youre feelin down
I know whats good for you all day
Are you worried what your friends see
Will it ruin your reputation lovin me
cause Im a dirty white boy
Yeah a dirty white boy
A dirty white boy
Dont drive no big black car
Dont like no hollywood movie star
You want me to be true to you
You dont give a damn what I do to you
Im just a dirty white boy
Dirty white boy, dirty white boy
Dirty white boy, dirty white boy
Dirty white boy
Well, Im a dirty white boy
Dirty white boy, dirty white boy
Dirty white boy, yeah, dirty white boy
A dirty white boy
Ive been in trouble since I dont know when
Im in trouble now and I now somehow Ill find trouble again

Every night I get one step closer to the danger zone

Why Me?
When the hopes are hassled
And relationships are rattled
Naïveté asks, why me?
When wishes are whacked
And dreams are dashed
Naïveté asks, why me?
When fantasies are fettered
And blessings are battered
Naïveté asks, why me?
When desires are demolished
And ambitions are admonished
Naïveté asks, why me?
When temptations are traumatized
And passions are pulverized
Naïveté asks, why me?
Strangely,
Naïveté with influence
And naïveté with affluence
Never asks, why me?
Naïveté with name
And naïveté with fame
Never asks, why me?
Naïveté with health
And naïveté with wealth
Never asks, why me?
Naïveté with fiefdom
And naïveté with wisdom
Never asks, why me?
Naïveté with beauty
And naïveté with booty
Never asks, why me?

Clothes Do But Cheat And Cozen Us
Away with silks, away with lawn,
I'll have no scenes or curtains drawn;
Give me my mistress, as she is,
Dress'd in her nak'd simplicities;
For as my heart, e'en so mine eye
Is won with flesh, not drapery.

A Departed Friend
He is sleeping, sounding sleeping
In the cold and silent tomb.
He is resting, sweetly resting
In perfect peace, all alone.
He has left us, God bereft us,
And his will must e'er be done,
It will grieve us, and bereave us
To think of this noble son.
While on earth he done his duty,
To all his fellow men,
Some will miss him in his of office,
Where he often used the pen.
He was witty, always happy,
Kind and genial in his way;
He was generous in his actions,
And his honor could display.
He has held many an office,
And has done his duty well;
And his name will be remembered
By the friends that knew him well.
Friends are weeping, softly weeping,
In his kind and loving home;
Let him slumber, sweetly slumber,
Till God calls him from the tomb.

Just Out Of Reach
He stands alone
Waiting since eternity
To catch a glimmer
Of the one he waits for
Since the beginning of time
He meets many thinking
She is the one
Only to find
It's not to be
He sighs with each heart break
Shakes his raven head
In sorrow thinking
Will they ever meet?
She has searched
Looking since eternity
For the one soul mate
That seams to be
Just out of reach
She gives herself to the ones
She thinks is indeed
Are her soul mates
Only to learn
It's not to be
She crumbles and cries
Thinking to herself
Will they ever meet?
Like ships in the night
They pass each other by
Not knowing who they are
They keep searching in vain
Each cycle that passes
They are just out of reach
He longs to see
Her face and feel her soul
That only she can
Stir the love that flows
Deep in his heart
Deep in his soul
She longs to touch
His face with a kiss
With the love
That flows in the ebb of time
Deep in her heart
Deep in her soul
Then just by chance
They meet briefly in time
He knows her voice
He knows her smile
She intern knows his heart
She knows his song
They flow with love
That's been denied so long
They feel each other presences
As they each enter a room
Blinded by what they feel
They know not what to do
They are with in reach
But the reality of the world
Has made it impossible
For them to express
How they feel
They both reach out to touch
Finger tip to finger tip
The time of destiny
Ebbs and flows
They have found their souls
Complete and whole
He ask her one simple question
HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN SEACHING
Her reply is simple
Since the beginning of time
She asks him one simple question
HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN WAITING
His reply is simple
Since the beginning of time
Finally they embrace
They are one
They are whole

Naked Dice
The orange horizon has but briefly glowed,
And Dice dons her jacket, her only clothes,
And begins her departure for her nearby abode.
Her nightly motive, only the Creator knows.
Because of her spots and freckles everywhere,
Dice, I call her, and nothing more.
Nightly, her footsteps are on my stair.
She’s in no more than a jacket, at my door.
She poses and pokes her nakedness,
As if it was her own invention.
And we spend the night in silent bliss,
For which I give more than honorable mention.
Her delicate figure gleams like the moon.
And in the twilight, erotic display,
As quaint as a familiar tune,
Embellishes my evenings in this way.
Daybreak always seems too near,
For it means her parting, my dear Dice.
So I thank the Creator that she is here,
Dashing the night’s darkness with sugar and spice.

The Dirty Laundry Poem
This is the dirty laundry poem-
because we have traveled from town to town
accumulating soiled linen & sweaty shirts
& blue-jeans caked & clotted with our juice
& teeshirts crumpled by our gloriously messy passion
& underwear made stiff by all our joy.
I have come home to wash my clothes.
They patter on the bathroom floor like rain.
The water drips away the days till you.
The dirty water speaks to me of love.
Steamy in the bubbles of our love,
I have plunged my hands into hot water
as I might plunge them
in your heart.
After years of spots & splatters,
I am finally coming clean.
I will fly to you with a suitcase of fresh laundry,
strip my clothes off, heap them on the floor,
& let you scrub my body with your love.

Signs On the Horizon
Restoration of those values,
Intergrated with dusted standards...
And the fading of faith based beliefs,
Seem to have been resuscitated...
Briefly.
People take to the streets to rejoice,
Briefly.
A pride kept on hold with a retelling of greatness,
Replace malaise...
Briefly.
But there are signs on the horizon,
Coming.
With a promise to end tensions,
Wounding those stunned.
A new day comes to awaken,
With a permanence.
And not just to make a brief stay!

Dirty Boy
Whoa yeah!
She came walking in like a vision, everybodys school boy dream
Ooh yeah, she could be my teacher, ooh yeah, she could be my queen
Me and the boys, we stopped talking, she came walking through
And one by one the subject got around, yeah, got around to you, thank god
Ive got no secrets, Ive got no clue
And all I really wanna do, is get next to you
You know what the worlds about, and Ill be your dirty boy
Well your clothes are made by designers, you only wear the best perfume
Youre so cold and chique, yeah, youre so unique
But when it comes to me, dont think that youre immune, no
Ive got no answers, Ive got no doubt
I know you wanna show me baby, what the worlds about
Dont treat me like I broke your toy, and Ill be your dirty boy
(solo)
Ive got no secrets, Ive got no clue
And all I really wanna do, is get next to you
You know what the worlds about, and Ill be your dirty boy
Ive got no answers, Ive got no doubt
I know you wanna show me babe, what the worlds about
Dont treat me like I broke your toy, and Ill be
Be your dirty boy, be your dirty boy, I wanna be your dirty boy, ooh yeah
I wanna be, I wanna be, I wanna be your dirty boy, be your dirty boy, yeah
I wanna be your dirty boy, be your dirty boy...
