A sound escapes.
It's now too late.
Embarassment fills your solemn face.
They look at you in such disgrace.
The laughing starts, you want to die.
It's human to, so let it fly.
It really was quite loud.
Surrounded in a rancid cloud.
They run and hide.
While others stick around to chide.
You tell them that you really tried.
To keep from slipping out your pride.
Don't worry though they've done it too.
Turning the air to perfect blue.
It felt real good,
so why should you turn away from this lovely tune.
So let it rip. It's such a trip.
To make all the buggers lose their grip.
Here it comes again so proud.

Obstructure

The pet he found at the bar
the status of a new car with it
big money made a new job
To make him feel a less slob of it
new standards changed the ego
the villain now a hero
looks at life, and takes a bite
a piece of paper makes him proud
the silence of success has gotta seem so loud
his future in a uniform
he's just another number in the eye of the storm
obstructure to late
Is a piece he cannot pay - the cost of pride
and still he hides dies inside - alone he sheds a tear
for the memories of before from it
a tribute to the good of the lord
the bible is the way to forget
New standards changed the ego
the villain now a hero
looks at life, it's flee or fight
Its nervous laughter business now
it used to be a trip to circle - seven without
The plan for number one to rise
the world he lives in is a price tag lie

A beautiful bond is like a melodious tune
A lovely relationship is so much for each other
Just as the breeze leaves marks on the rune
Not possible to have one without one another

Every Chime needs a breeze to make it sound
To tinkle with the gentleness of the breeze
Sometimes be noisy and loud with wind 's pound
Clink with the rush of the gushing wild breeze

Angered Into A Raging Zone

I make attempts to walk away.
Even turning my head...
In other directions.
With the taking of deep breaths.
Biting into my lips and the squinting of eyes?
I've done it all it seems,
To maintain my dignity.
Hoping not to lose the grip,
That seems to be slipping away...
From my well deserved and earned pride.

HowEVER...
I can be angered into a raging zone,
I once had known...
In those times when I had been unforgiving.
And when I am pushed to the limit,
To visit that place again...
By someone who has no idea I am being tempted.
I do the best I can to warn them...
How they are achieving...successfully,
To minimize my acquired patience.

I'm Only Human

When we make mistakes and exclaim, 'I'm only human',
what are we trying to say?
What are we apologising for?
As humans, are we only just above the lowest form of animal,
on this planet.
Where's our intelligence, our pride, our self respect.
Why can't we see ourselves as perfect structures,
created by an inspired architect.
We should stand tall, be proud of what we are,
acknowledge our worth.
Why is it that when we falter, lose confidence,
become unsure,
we can't help saying, 'I'm only human'.
It's a sad realisation to arrive at,
don't you think?
But then again, 'we are only human'!
