Strange Gravity
At times, in the morning, I have to break through a strange gravity of my past.
I did not create this gravity of my childhood, for this world and the next I am making a new gravity.

Gravity Of The Situation
(vic chesnutt)
We blew past the army motorcade
And its abnormal load haulage
The gravity of the situation
Came on us like a bit of new knowledge
The bubbliest bubble bath
Broke down on the bank
The gravity of the situation
Is why our old thought bubbles sank
Humble and gracious
The gravity of the situation
A fat hungry english crow
Picking at a badger carcass
The gravity of the situation
Is hard to focus and harness
We met bill lowery
At the queens hall
The gravity of the situation
Became apparent to us all

Graveness
Forces keep working on the world,
The return to the ground is called gravity;
It is called gravity, because someone falls,
Falling and jumping are acts using gravity.
Water drops from the clouds,
Always benefiting the ground.
It may take all of time and cause a grave situation -
Floods surprise us as the water surges from huge amounts.
Graveness carries a lesson for the brave,
Gravity speaks from the centre of the world,
Graveness is too strange and grave matters affect
The way we live our lives.

Gravity Girl
I could sit for hours
in the conditions of the sun
we could talk for hours
cuz you know you're the one
and every time i open up my heart to you
you bring me down (you lift me up)
gravity girl (you bring me down)
you bring me down (you tell me what to do)
cuz you're my gravity girl, gravity girl
my sky, my hope, my whole world
you're my gravity girl
i'm so high in your world
I could sit for hours
in the conditions of the sun (gravity girl)
we could talk for hours
cuz you know you're the one (gravity girl)
and every time i open up my heart to you
you bring me down (you bring me down)
you tell me what to do (in your world)
cuz you're my gravity girl, gravity girl
my sky, my hope, my whole world
you're miles away in the sky
with the sun and the moon
but you always bring me down again
you're so high in my world
my gravity girl, gravity girl

Gravity Decides
I collide with the world again
Creep with the summer on my skin
Strapped to machinery, theory and catastrophe
Open up and let it in
Radar, we are, could be willing
Spot my eyes and cross the line
Tell me Im more than Im feeling
Say the mirror only lies
Theres more than gravity pushing on me
I know the hearts a muscle, too
See a pulse up close and quiver
Still holding back the rapture
Theres more than gravity pushing on me
Gravity decides
Radar, we are, could be willing
Spot my eyes and cross the line
Tell me Im more than Im feeling
Say the mirror only lies
Theres more than gravity pushing on me
I know the hearts a muscle, too
See a pulse up close and quiver
Still holding back the rapture
Theres more than gravity pushing on me
Gravity decides
Mirrors only lie
Gravity decides

The Gravity of Blood
The gravity of blood
Holds tight the satellites
Of family and
The ties that bind
Free will… be an illusion
An orbit of confusion
For the gravity of blood
Tis not random… nor tis blind
In the end we're naught but copies
Cast afar in the familial flood
Rejoined anon by the cosmic eddies
And the gravity of blood

Fire and Screams
You called my name
Urgently called my name
But I didn't hear you
Through the fire and screams
I looked for you
Desperately looked for you
But I couldn't find you
There was fire and screams
Hiding that I think of you
Every few minutes, I should say
Just hold on to me
Through that fire, those screams
Trust won't break through the fire and screams
It will grow against gravity
The gravity of moments that took my breath away
The pull of me and you, the right choice
The urging to stay calm
Through the fire and screams
But then there's always the evil gravity
The gravity of uncertainty, of fears
The pull of loneliness and tears
The urging to scream, to add to those screams
That fire, those screams
I looked for you
Frantically looked for you
But I couldn't find you
Through the fire and screams
You may hate gravity, but gravity doesn't care.

Not Even Gravity (Positive)
I am not Galileo
To state gravity accurately.
The mass can win gravity
Through force acted on it.
Like heart can win another
Through love acted on it.
Struck in vision,
Block in ears,
Still in movement
Can be caused by love.
But all those can be cured
By another soul of human.
Creating another generation even
Once for all, when a soul gets
It's flight out of planet
Not even gravity
Can measure your weight loss
Can make it withstand.

Gravity
Can't sleep at night
The darkness enslaves me
I turn out the light
And no one can save me
So try not to stare 'cause I'm stripped to the bone
It's a trick of the light and I'm lost
Feel like I'm falling
Gravity is dragging me
My head's about to break
Can't break my fall
Insanity inside of me
It's like I'm wide awake
Feel like I'm falling
Can't recognize
I'm hypnotized
These feelings got me plagued
Can't take it all
This gravity is killing me
I can't stand up from falling down
I lie to myself
It don't make it easy

Beyond My Window
Beyond my window
The sky blooms in a voluminous garden
The sun attends,
And there my childhood goes wandering
In the thick forest of nebulous—
There is no time on me
And there are no scars—
Gravity is a funny thing that still spins
Like a top in the palm of my hand…..
My heart is not lost in a panting jungle
Of her red fingernails and long, curling locks,
Like chains made of unbreakable feathers,
For now she stalks me without even thinking about it,
A filmy poltergeist doing her life
Five states away near where the East Ocean breathes.
She eats its salts every day and doesn’t even think about it,
The way the world tastes inside of her….
Inside me, she is the romantic acid
Spurting through my soul, taking turns with time
And gravity to bed decay in me….
My house quakes with her and I am coming down,
Though beyond my window
Where the sun gallops, my childhood still plays.

Humor is the only test of gravity, and gravity of humor; for a subject which will not bear raillery is suspicious, and a jest which will not bear serious examination is false wit.

Apple fall out of the tree and hit the ground
Pretty soon we realize were earthly bound
Babies fall and babies cry in early years
Mamas dust them off and wipe away their tears
Chorus:
Oh, watch out for that gravity storm
It dont give no warning signs
Oh, watch out for that gravity storm
Oh, oh
All your life you have to deal with ups and downs
So listen to your heartstrings as they make the sounds
Dont forget to listen to that steady beat
Dont forget to balance on your ready feet
Chorus:
Oh, watch out for that gravity storm
It dont give no warning signs
Oh, watch out for that gravity storm
Oh, oh
I will keep you warm
Shelter in the storm
All your life
I will keep you warm
Shelter from the storm
All your life
Apple fall out of the tree and hit the ground
Pretty soon we realize were earthly bound
Babies fall and babies cry in early years
Mamas dust them off and wipe away their tears
Chorus:
Oh, watch out for that gravity storm
It dont give no warning signs
Oh, watch out for that gravity storm
Oh, oh
Oh, watch out for that gravity storm
It dont give no warning signs
Oh, watch out for that gravity storm
Oh, oh
All your life

Gravity vs Money
Power of gravity is physical
Power of money is mental
Let’s find out for ourselves
Which one is stronger and more elemental?
And for as long as I could remember
Power of gravity stays the same
Power of money is always growing
Growing, growing until it’s insane
Power of gravity drags you down
Allow you firmly to stand on your feet
Power of money will fly you over
To Paris, Rome, New York or Madrid
To prove ones and for all
In a very bold experiment
I will dropp one hundred dollars bill
On New York city street pavement
I tried and tried, time and again
Results were consistent, always the same
Even if nobody was standing around
The bill almost never hit the ground!

Gravity
Honey,
It's been a long time coming,
And i can't stop now
Such a long time running,
And i can't stop now
Do you hear my heart beating?
Can you hear that sound?
'Cause i can't help thinking
Yeah, don't look down
And then i looked up at the sun
And i could see
Oh, the way that gravity turns for you and me
And then i looked up at the sky
And saw the sun
And the way that gravity turns on everyone
On everyone
Baby,
It's been a long time waiting,
Such a long, long time
And i can't stop smiling,
Oh i can't stop now
Do you hear my heart beating?
Do you hear that sound?
'Cause i can't stop crying
And i won't look down
And then i looked up at the sun
And i could see
Oh, the way that gravity turns on you and me
And then i looked up at the sun
And saw the sky
And the way that gravity pulls on you and i
On you and I
