Not you at all
Everyone has deep issues, which are really diamonds most do not know how to mine their diamonds. Most deny their diamonds, or keep them buried, mine them, your issues are your tools and skills, which save others. They are you but not you at all, your mistakes, sorrows, and pain, intersecting with humanities crudeness, ignorance, greed, and selfishness, if you come to light here some, through this forest of plastic, video, soundbites, pretense, hate and ignorance, you will come through, shine forth anywhere in this, all universes, creations.

Diamonds and Rust
I'll be damned, here comes your ghost again
but that's not unusual
it's just that the moon is full
and you decided to come
And here I sit, hand on the telephone
hearing the voice I'd known
a couple of light years ago
headed straight for a fall
But we both know what memories can bring
they bring Diamonds and Rust
yes we both know what memories can bring
they bring Diamonds and Rust
Now I see you standing with brown leaves all around and snow in your hair
Now we're smiling out the window of the crummy hotel over washington square
and then comes that white clouds, mingles and hangs in the air
Speaking strictly for me
we both could've died then and there
Now you're telling me you're not nostalgic
then give me another word for it
you were so good with words
and at keeping things paid
cause I need some of that vagueness now, it's all come back too clearly
yes, I love you dearly
and if you're offering me diamonds and rust
I've already paid
But we both know what memories can bring
they bring Diamonds and Rust
yes we both know what memories can bring
they bring Diamonds and Rust
Diamonds, Diamonds and Rust
Diamonds, Diamonds and Rust
Diamonds, Diamonds and Rust
Diamonds, Diamonds and Rust

Diamonds
diamonds in her hair
diamonds fill her eyes
diamonds from her rough
to sympathize
shine on through my days
shine on to my life
shine an open sky
til all seems right
it's good enough for me
i take my solace everywhere i go
everyting i need is on my back
only you believe that your belief is all i seek and
anything we need is with us now
shine on everywhere
shine on, just don't you care
shine on as you go
shine on
flying through the air
lightning in the sky
flying makes me smile and feel alive
diamonds from her mouth
diamonds in her palms
diamonds from her earth to keep me warm
it's good enough for me
i take my solace everywhere i go
everything i need is on my back
if only you believe that your belief is all i seek and
anything we need is with us now
shine on
the whos and blues and flys remain
as jack knows jill to set a stage
so pause and draw my jar gaze
to face no cause and damn debate
a wise and cries up all disgrace
i'll hit this rhyme and tear a page
shine on everywhere
shine on just don't you care
grab a hold don't let go
cause this ride doesn't stop for anyone

Diamonds Are A Girls Best Friend
(leo robin/jule styne)
A kiss on the hand may be quite continental
But diamonds are a girls best friend
A kiss may be grand but it wont pay the rental
On your humble flat or help you at the automat
Men grow cold as girls grow old
We all lose our charm in the end
But square cut or pear shape
These rocks dont lose their shape
Diamonds are a girls best friend
Yeah diamonds are a girls best friend
Lets rock
There may come a time when a lass needs a lawyer
Diamonds are a girls best friend
There may come a time when a hardboiled employer
Thinks youre awful nice, but get that ice or else no dice
Hes your guy when stocks are high
But beware when they start to descend
Its then that those spouses
And diamonds are a girls best friend
Diamonds are a girls best friend
Yeah diamonds are a girls best friend
Lets rock again
Diamonds are a girls best friend
Diamonds are a girls best friend
Diamonds are a girls best friend
Diamonds are a girls best friend

Girls Best Friend
diamonds a girls best friend
so they say
they sparkle, shine in lights
of many shades
they smile and say
you know you want me
these diamonds
a girls best friend
or her own worse enemy
as they whisper words
of love
to show to others and get
mad if not considered big
enough
these diamonds to grace
a neck, a finger, a anklet
on there best friend
said to outlast love it, s self
always there when you need
a friend
these diamonds you adore
a girls best friend

One’s value
Diamonds are of no value
If they aren’t known as diamonds.
White stones are of value
If they are taken as diamonds.

Diamonds Are 4 Eva
Diamonds are 4 ever, they are all I need to please me
They can stimulate and tease me
The wont leave in the night, Ive no fear that they might desert me...
Diamonds are forever, hold one up and then caress it
Touch it stroke it and undress it
I can see every part, nothing hides in the heart
To hurt me
I dont need love, for what good will love do me?
Diamonds never lie to me
For when loves gone, they luster on
they luster on...
Diamonds are forever, sparkling round my little finger
Unlike girls the diamonds linger
Girls are mere mortals who are not worth going to your grave for
I dont need love, for what good will love do me?
Diamonds never lie to me
For when loves gone, they luster on
Diamonds are forever, forever, forever, forever
And ever...

Today I Shine
From the struggles of yesterday, today I shine
I have climbed from the ghetto that had me blind.
I was scorned by the curse of black stereotype
But my life has changed and today I shine
Just like the Diamonds of Africa,
Today I shine
I would not look back at my dark past,
Its lessons have taught me a whole new path,
A path though rough, the end is clear
Because my life has changed and today I shine,
Just like the Diamonds of Africa,
Today I shine.
I am stronger today than yesterday,
Because I'm on my feet, not on my knees
I have a voice and I would speak out
Because my life has changed and today I shine,
Just like the Diamonds of Africa,
Today I shine.
I have traded my rags for brand new robes
No more begging or free-loading.
When I walk in the court, you'll hear "All rise! "
That's because my life has changed and today I shine,
Just like the Diamonds of Africa
Today I shine.
Today I am what my ancestors couldn't be
A judge in the court as you all now see,
One thing I know, my conscience is free
I will always hand down a fair penalty.
That's because my life has changed and today I shine
Just like the Diamonds of Africa
Today I shine.

Diamonds In The Mine
The woman in blue, shes asking for revenge,
Man in white -- thats you -- says he has no friends.
The river is swollen up with rusty cans
And the trees are burning in your promised land.
And there are no letters in the mailbox,
And there are no grapes upon the vine,
And there are no chocolates in the boxes anymore,
And there are no diamonds in the mine.
Well, you tell me that your lover has a broken limb,
You say youre kind of restless now and its on account of him.
Well, I saw the man in question, it was just the other night,
He was eating up a lady where the lions and christians fight.
And there are no letters in the mailbox
And there are no grapes upon the vine,
And there are no chocolates in the boxes anymore,
And there are no diamonds in the mine.
(you tell them now)
Ah, there is no comfort in the covens of the witch,
Some very clever doctor went and sterilized the bitch,
And the only man of energy, yes the revolutions pride,
He trained a hundred women just to kill an unborn child.
And there are no letters in the mailbox,
Oh no, there are no, no grapes upon your vine,
And there are, there are no chocolates in your boxes anymore,
And there are no diamonds in your mine,
And there are no letters in the mailbox,
And there are no grapes upon the vine,
And there are no chocolates in your boxes anymore,
And there are no diamonds in your mine.

Diamonds On The Soles Of Her Shoes
(a-wa) o kodwa u zo-nge li-sa namhlange
(a-wa a-wa) si-bona kwenze ka kanjani
(a-wa a-wa) amanto mbazane ayeza
Shes a rich girl
She dont try to hide it
Diamonds on the soles of her shoes
Hes a poor boy
Empty as a pocket
Empty as a pocket with nothing to lose
Sing ta na na
Ta na na na
She got diamonds on the soles of her shoes
She got diamonds on the soles of her shoes
Diamonds on the soles of her shoes
Diamonds on the soles of her shoes
People say shes crazy
She got diamonds on the soles of her shoes
Well thats one way to lose these
Walking blues
Diamonds on the soles of her shoes
She was physically forgotten
Then she slipped into my pocket
With my car keys
She said youve taken me for granted
Because I please you
Wearing these diamonds
And I could say oo oo oo
As if everybody knows
What Im talking about
As if everybody would know
Exactly what I was talking about
Talking about diamonds on the soles of her shoes
She makes the sign of a teaspoon
He makes the sign of a wave
The poor boy changes clothes
And puts on after-shave
To compensate for his ordinary shoes
And she said honey take me dancing
But they ended up by sleeping
In a doorway
By the bodegas and the lights on
Upper broadway
Wearing diamonds on the soles of their shoes
And I could say oo oo oo
As if everybody here would know
What I was talking about
I mean everybody here would know exactly
What I was talking about
Talking about diamonds
People say Im crazy
I got diamonds on the soles of my shoes
Well thats one way to lose
These walking blues
Diamonds on the soles of your shoes

Diamond Ass
Asylum erotica. Yea I said the ones on the wheels.
Doomsday machinist. Flying out the window.
She's looking strange.
Nowhere to nowhere diamonds she's got what it takes diamonds forever.
You'd be surprised. Come on baby get it in gear.
Stone-face and rawmeat. Nowhere to nowhere diamonds.
Projected from above. A dead astronaunt returns. Buried in 69.
Brain is all crystalized more horrible than before, parasite sucking style.
Hey, yea man it's out of sight. Anti-christ service.
Hey, yea man it's out of sight.

Tao Of Heaven
Surrender surrender surrender
The light of spirit burns in everyone
The diamonds buried deep (surrender)
When the heart is ready the teacher will come
Nothing remains without change (surrender)
The tao of heaven shines in every eye
The diamonds buried deep (surrender)
Its a gateless gate for those who never try
Nothing remains without change (surrender)
The light of spirit burns in everyone
The diamonds buried deep (surrender)
When the heart is ready the teacher will come
Nothing remains without change (surrender)
The tao of heaven shines in every eye
The diamonds buried deep (surrender)
Its a gateless gate for those who never try

The cause is ignored
Diamonds shine, but only with reflected rays.
Women, you shine but with illumination of men’s eyes.
In dark, both are as dull as coal.
Diamonds and women shine;
Who minds rays and men?

Little Maggie
1. oh, where is little maggie
Over yonder she stands,
Rifle on her shoulder,
Six-shooter in her hand.
2. how can I ever stand it,
Just to see them two blue eyes,
Shinin like some diamonds,
Like some diamonds in the sky.
3. rather be in some lonely hollow
Where the sun dont ever shine,
Than to see you be another mans darling,
And to know that youll never be mine.
4. well, its march me away to the station
With my suitcase in my hand,
Yes, march me away to the station,
Im off to some far-distant land.
5. sometimes I have a nickel,
And sometimes I have a dime,
Sometimes I have ten dollars,
Just to pay for little maggies wine.
6. pretty flowers are made for blooming,
Pretty stars are made to shine,
Pretty girls are made for boys love,
Little maggie was made for mine.
7. well, yonder stands little maggie
With a dram glass in her hand,
Shes a drinkin down her troubles
Over courtin some other man.

In my Democracy a diamond's the same as an agate
So long as you section it, buff it, wet it
You'll be amazed at the light that pierces through it
As long as you never actually have to view it.
Why would any one venture to pay retail
While these little gems are everywhere for sale?
Love tropes, they say, before diamonds, were garnets
Purple and costly red as wine and blood
Why should diamonds not concede to agates
Which not infrequently have spots of red
Amid the green and brown and yellow-gray?
If I can get some funding, I will say
Agates are the new diamonds-and with this market plan
I shall die a very wealthy man.

Diamonds
Oh getaway and dont come back
Who do you think youre fooling with lies like that?
You have dreams that set the rain on fire
Burning with a cheap desire
And its plain as grey that what you say
Have meanings of their own
My love, she dont need diamonds
My loves more than a sweet dream
And she dont need diamonds
She shakes her hip to the tambourine
And she dont need diamonds
If you cant love me for nothing
They you cant love me at all
And its plain as grey that what you say
Have meanings of their own
We all got to dance, take a chance?
But babe you should have stayed at home
My love, my love, she dont need diamonds

My Favorite Things
Buy me diamonds and rubies
I'm crazy 'bout bentleys
Gucci dresses and drop top compresses
Wine me and dine me
Bring those platinum rings
Those are a few of our favourite things
Buy me diamonds and rubies
I'm crazy bout bentleys
Gucci dresses and drop top compresses
Wine me and dine me
Bring those platinum rings
Those are a few of our favourite things
What i need is a gentleman
Who does the best he can
There to hold my hand
I want you to understand
Of course i want diamonds and expensive things
Cause a girl's gotta have her favourite things
Oh, that's what you like nice type of life
Platinum at night flat diamond light
Well that's so bright
You looking right ass kinda tight
Don't spend the night
Roll with the g, oh we could be right you and me
Like fantasy i'll make you real
So what de deal
Girl tell Randy just how u feel
Buy me diamonds and rubies
I'm crazy bout bentleys
Gucci dresses and drop top compresses
Wine me and dine me
Bring those platinum rings
Those are a few of our favourite things
I would like a man who would
Take care of business
And still have the time to
Take me on a shopping spree
What's mine is yours and what's yours is mine.
With what we have lets put it together and we can shine
I know what you want
And i got what you need
I believe you should be rolling with me
I take you around, out on the town
And show you the way that a boy liquors down
Whenever you're ready girl we can go now
And we can do things you don't even know how
I know that you know that i'm feeling your style
So tell me what you do just to make you go wow uh
Buy me diamonds and rubies
I'm crazy bout bentleys
Gucci dresses and drop top compresses
Wine me and dine me
Bring those platinum rings
Those are a few of our favourite things
Let me tell you what di's is all about
Simplicity easy to please but i like expensive things
For me you can buy diamonds and pearls
Just some of the little things i like in my world
So you like wining and dining and shining
Gliding the riding pushing them hot wicks
Wanna come get with a real pimp
There lots of flaws stuck on it
I'll make you a shopohollic
Buying you stuff untill you vommit
Blowin credit copper on ya
Even if ya didnt want it
Buy me diamonds and rubies
I'm crazy bout bentleys (crazy bout bentlys)
Gucci dresses and drop top compresses
Wine me and dine me
Bring those platinum rings
Those are a few of our favourite things
Buy me diamonds and rubies (buy me, buy me)
I'm crazy bout bentleys
Gucci dresses and drop top compresses (i like gucci)
Wine me and dine me
Bring those platinum rings
Those are a few of our favourite things
What dya want

Pink Diamond Princess
Out of all the precious stones
This lovely stone is the one I cherish
It's like the beauty of a pink rose
The one that's to lovely to perish
I'm the diamond in the dirt
And I have been found
I'm the ghetto gangsta queen
And I have been crowned
Like Trina, she's the diamond princess
And me, I'm the pink diamond princess
Diamonds a like wisdom in my hair
Pink diamonds are pure precious and most rare
Diamonds are a girls' best friend
But pink diamonds is my best friend till the very end.

Sea Of Faith
Say sayonara darling
this time goodbye
No bon voyage,
it's time to fly
I can see the breakdown coming
Like a twisted wreck
Let's save ourselves the sorrow
Before we hit the deck
From the high plains
to the border
All across the land
From the flying of the flag
To lovers kissing hands
You can cover me in roses
put nickles on my eyes
There be no tomorrows,
no more goodbyes
Sea of faith
where did she go
Little diamonds
how you shine and glow
Looking at the future I don't know
I am just here to watch the river flow
A street full of whispers,
rings like a chinese gong
A room full of would be's
whose lives have gone wrong
The blues don't exist now
just to cleanse your soul
They were made to wake you up
Not to dig a hole
You can cover me in roses,
put nickles on my eyes
There be no tomorrows,
no more goodbyes
Sea of faith
where did she go
Little diamonds
how you shine and glow
Looking at the future I don't know
I am just here to watch the river flow
Solo
Say sayonara darling
this time goodbye
No bon voyage,
it's time to fly
I can see the breakdown coming
Like a twisted wreck
Let's save ourselves the sorrow
Before we hit the deck
It's something of a tragedy
It would make you weep
When you kiss your love goodnight
Now I see why lovers leap
You can cover me in roses,
put nickles on my eyes
There be no tomorrows,
no more goodbyes
Sea of faith
where did she go
Little diamonds
how you shine and glow
Looking at the future
I don't know
I am just here to watch
the river flow
Little diamonds
how you shine and glow
Looking at the future
I don't know
I am just here to watch
the river flow
Little diamonds
how you shine and glow
