Sonnet XXVIII: To Such As Say
To such as say thy love I overprize,
And do not stick to term my praises folly,
Against these folks, that think themselves so wise,
I thus oppose my Reason's forces wholly,
Though I give more than well affords my state,
In which expense the most suppose me vain,
Which yields them nothing at the easiest rate,
Yet at this price returns me treble gain.
They value not, unskillful how to use,
And I give much, because I gain thereby;
I that thus take, or they that thus refuse,
Whether are these deceived then, or I?
In everything I hold this maxim still:
The circumstance doth make it good or ill.

One Good Reason
Give me one good reason
That I should care
Give me one good reason
And Ill be there
Like a thief youve stolen
Like rain on a grave
Like a priest whos spoken
But failed to save
Now the air is empty
And the ground the same
Love has gone to be buried
Beside my name
Give me one good reason
That I should care
Give me one good reason
And Ill be there
Why couldnt you have told me
About your liars kiss
I cant believe youd leave me
At a time like this
And the wind is howling
And its a dying dream
And my faith is silent
While my doubts scream
Give me one good reason
That I should care
Give me one good reason
And Ill be there
Give me one good reason
Give me one good reason
Give me one good reason
That I should care
Give me one good reason
Give me one good reason
Give me one good reason
That I should care
Give me one good reason
Give me one good reason
Give me one good reason

Among the Rocks
Oh, good gigantic smile o' the brown old earth,
This autumn morning! How he sets his bones
To bask i' the sun, and thrusts out knees and feet
For the ripple to run over in its mirth;
Listening the while, where on the heap of stones
The white breast of the sea-lark twitters sweet.
That is the doctrine, simple, ancient, true;
Such is life's trial, as old earth smiles and knows.
If you loved only what were worth your love,
Love were clear gain, and wholly well for you:
Make the low nature better by your throes!
Give earth yourself, go up for gain above!

Sonnet XXXVIII: Sitting Alone, Love
Sitting alone, Love bids me go and write;
Reason plucks back, commanding me to stay,
Boasting that she doth still direct the way,
Or else Love were unable to endite.
Love, growing angry, vexed at the spleen
And scorning Reason's maimed argument,
Straight taxeth Reason, wanting to invent,
Where she with Love conversing hath not been.
Reason, reproached with this coy disdain,
Despiteth Love, and laugheth at her folly;
And Love, condemning Reason's reason wholly,
Thought it in weight too light by many'a grain.
Reason, put back, doth out of sight remove,
And Love alone picks reason out of love.

One Good Reason
Just give me one good reason
I know somehow, theres got to be one
I wasnt born every minute of every day
I never feel this way
I fought hard to keep my freedom
But when I think of things that weve done
I give what I keep, and I keep what I give away
Is this a good sign, Im on a thin line
One good reason is all I need
Say the word and Ill cut you free
What was nothing just yesterday
Could be something thats here to stay
One good reason and I might go either way
Give me some indication
Its not my imagination
Something is born every minute of every day
Something could come my way
I just need one good reason
To make me stay instead of leaving
I never knew how to be any other way
Maybe theres still hope
Im on a tight rope
One good reason is all I need
To take the heart that is tempting me
Make a move that could change your life
Never know if its wrong or right
One good reason is all I need tonight
It just takes one good reason
My body sweats, my hands are freezing
I dont make decisions like this every single day
What do I have to say
Just give me one good reason
Give me one good reason

It's Only Love That Gets You Through
girl you are rich
even with nothing
you know tenderness
comes from pain
it's amazing how you love
and love is kind
and love can give
and get no gain
it's down a rugged road
you've come
though you had every reason you didn't come undone
somehow you made it to
the other side
you didn't suffer in vain
you forgive those who have trespassed against you
and you know tenderness comes from pain
it's amazing how you love
and love is kind
and love can give
and love needs
no gain
it's down a rugged road
you've come
though you had every reason you didn't come undone
somehow you made it to
the other side
you didn't suffer in vain
you didn't suffer in vain
you know it's only love
that gets you through
only love love
only love that gets
you through

I Believe
Give me a reason
Why it's time to call it quits
Give me a reason
And I don't believe a bit
Give me a reason
To never let you go
Give me a reason
I've always told you so
I believe, yes I believe
Refrain:
I believe in me and you
Give me a reason
For the need of changing me
Give me a reason
I'll never change indeed
Give me a reason and I will call it quits
The mirror might be broken but
I know how to fix it
I believe, yes I believe
Refrain:
I believe in me and you
Four seasons in a year
One reason makes it clear
Im not the one receiving
I guess you dont oppose
I know were getting close
Im the one retrieving
Cause I believe!
Refrain:
I believe in me and you

Return of the forest
War …………………!
War …………………! !
War to the dwellers
Gain ………………….!
Gain ………………….! !
Gain from the vain of inheritance
tranquil and madly ready
Wasn’t a massacre.
War ………………..!
War: joint-sperm to replenish
On the soil of mute.
Gain ………………….!
Gain; they are exiled and wont return.
Lia, eldest honoured to keep the peace.
Egwe, youngest, Gloried to care.
War ……………..!
War ……………...! !
War, their peace troubled to escape.
War, ‘’Warri’’ destroyed and no one to cook with the fire
Slattered and prisioned tittles.
War ………………!
War ………………! !
War, Gain, gain, gain.
These enemies of pacifism
wait for no age,
dwellers of all land.
To claim, to reign and gain.
Little wheeze close to the prewinkle.
sneeze their repent.

Rudy
Rudys on a train to nowhere, halfway down the line
He dont wanna get there, but he needs time
He aint sophisticated, nor well-educated
After all the hours he wasted, still he needs time.
He needs time - he needs time for livin,
He needs time - for someone just to see him.
He aint haid no lovin
For no reason or rhyme
And the whole worlds above him.
Well its not as though hes fat-
No theres more to this than that-
See he tries to play it cool-
Wouldnt be nobody fool.
Rudy thought that all good things comes to those that wait
But recently he could see that it may come too late.
All through your life, all through the years
Nobody loved, nobody cared.
So dim the light, dark are your fears
Try as I might, I cant hold back the tears
How can you live without love, its not fair?
Someone said give but I just didnt dare.
What good advice are you waiting to hear?
Hearings alright for them thats all there
Youd better gain control now
Youd better showem all now
Youd better make or break now
Youd better give and take now
Youll have to push and shove now
Youll have to find some love now
Youd better gain control now.
Now hes just come out the movie.
Numb of all the pain,
Sad but in a while hell soon be
Back on his train...

Noah had three sons, ham, shem and japhet (ham, shem and japhet);
And in ham is known to be the prophet.

When my soul was hurtin deep within,
And Im worrying to be free, desperately, yeah.
So guide and protect ini, o jah - jah,
Through all these ages;
Guide and protect ini, o jah - jah,
Through all these stages.

For The Love Of Him
When he opens the door and says I'm home
Be aware of the look in his eyes
They tell you the mood he's in
What kind of day its been
They'll be times where he wont say a word
And you'll wonder if its something you've said
A gentle touch of your hand
Will tell him you understand
For the love of him
Make him your reason for living
Give all the love you can give him
All the love you can
For the love of him
Make him your reason for living
Give all the love you can give him
All the love you can
He's a man and a man has to try
Let them run let them fall let them cry
His world wont fall apart
If you take him into your heart
For the love of him
Make him your reason for living
Give all the love you can give him
All the love you can
For the love of him
Make him your reason for living
Give all the love you can give him
All the love you can
He's a man and a man has to try
Let them run let them fall let them cry
His world wont fall apart
If you take him into your heart
For the love of him
Make him your reason for living
Give all the love you can give him
All the love you can
For the love of him
Make him your reason for living

Give Up
(bernard edwards/nile rodgers)
Give up, give up
Give up youre love to me
Give up, give up
Give up youre love to me
You better listen well
When I tell you
To be on the look out
You cant call for help
cause I know you inside out
Despite all your hideouts
Im no great pretender
Ill make you surrender
So come along quietly
Heres a thought to remember
I have not met a man yet
To escape from my drag-net
Give up, give up
Give up youre love to me
Give up, give up
Give up youre love to me
Give up, give up
Give up youre love to me
Ill give you just the facts man
And you can draw all your own conclusions
Ill keep your mind surrounded
With chains of love so strong
You cant break through them
My arsenal is stocked
With all kinds of seductive weapons
Although your hearts locked up
My love will assist me
So that you cant resist me
Give up, give up
Give up youre love to me
Give up, give up
Give up youre love to me
Give up, give up
Give up youre love to me
Give up, give up
Give up youre love to me
Give up, give up
Give up youre love to me
Give up, give up
Give up youre love to me
No, no, no
Give up, give up
Give up youre love to me
Give up, give up
Give up youre love to me
Give up, give up
Give up youre love to me
Give up, give up
Give up youre love to me
Give up, give up
Give up youre love to me
Give up, give up
Give up youre love to me
Give up, give up
Give up youre love to me
Give up, give up
Give up youre love to me

How can I cry if tears kill thee?
How can I cry if tears kill thee?
My love, my only sorrow, my pleasure am guilty
I internalize my sorrow so no one can take
The beauty it is and the love it doth make
To tell one of my pain; is to tell one my soul
My soul for my gain, only I will my soul control
The secret of my life is the secret I keep
Which me cherish and hold in my breast deep
It makes me who I art and what I be
The only thing mine, that none other can see
Secretly I cry in my true life inside
There I live and there my love confide
Forever with my sorrow I shall live
Miserly hoarding all its love it doth give

Change Your Mind
Why dont you ever listen?
Its you Im talking to
This time its your decision
Were into something new
I know that Im sinking
Oh any fool can see
Time that I was thinking
Of no-one else but me
Change your mind
Nothing ever stays the same
Change your mind
No-one ever plays the game game game
Change your mind
Give up what you cant defend
Change your mind
Think it up and start again gain gain
Why cant you reconsider
Listen if you care
Take familiar giver
Reject me if you dare
Give me what Im asking
And save it all for me
Love thats everlasting
Thats how its meant to be
Change your mind
Nothing ever stays the same
Change your mind
No-one ever plays the game game game
Change your mind
Give up what you cant defend
Change your mind
Think it up and start again gain gain
Change your mind
Nothing ever stays the same

Give It Up
(young - young)
Oh yeah
Well there be no words of fighting around here
cause nothin dont matter cause it aint clear
Well it could be on a monday
Or it could be even sunday
So if you cant stand the distance
You better disappear
Do I make myself clear
Im ready to rock Im gonna rip it
Ready to rock yeah Im gonna stick it
Give it up give it out
Whip it up all about
Stick it up shout it loud
Come on, give it up, give it up
Give it up, give it up, yeah
Well theres a big storm a howlin around here
And there be no wine no sinnin and no beer
Im gonna aim to fire a rocket
There aint no damn way to stop it
I got a sure fire bullet
To get you outta here
I said do I make myself clear
Im ready to rock yeah Im gonna rip it
Ready to rock yeah Im gonna stick it
Give it up give it out
I said whip it up all about
You gotta stick it up shout it loud
Come on, give it up, give it up
Give it up, give it up
Im going crazy on a wild mans night
Take your pick of anything you like
Give it up
Give it up
Im sitting pretty on the ready to bite
She givin up a bit of cream delight
Give it up
Give it up
Give it up
Give it up
Give it up give it out
Whip it up all about
You gotta stick it up shout it loud
Give it up all around (givin it up)
Give it up, give it up, give it up (givin it up)
Whippin it in, whippin it out (givin it up)
Stick it up, stick it up, stick em down (givin it up)
Give it up all around
Give it up, give it up
Give it up, give it up
Givin it up, stickin it up
Givin it up, givin it up
Give it up
Do I make myself clear?

Being wise and fool
Big gain big loss is a risk.
No gain no loss is secure.
Small gain small loss is safe.
Small gain no loss is wise.
Big gain no loss is luck
Small gain big loss is a foolery.
We have recourse to all these
Somewhere sometime impulsively.

Recorded by hank williams, sr.
Words and music by hank williams, sr.
1st verse:
[e] the [b7] news is [e] out - all over [a] town
That youve been [e] seen - a-runnin [b7] round
I know that [e] I - should leave, but [a] then

1st bridge:
This heart of [a] mine - could never [e] see

Just trusting [e] you - was my great [a] sin

Im sorry for - your victim now
cause soon his head - like mine will bow
Hell give his heart - but all in vain

You have no heart - you have no shame
You take true love - and give the blame
I guess that I - should not complain
I love you still - you win again.

The Balance Of Love
Price of your love's too much to pay
I'll save myself for another day
You want my love but you don't want me
You sell your goods with no guarantee
You're taxing me at your highest rate
You want my heart served on a plate
The balance of love is in the red
There's more to me than this double bed
The balance of love is now in the red
I'm fed up of empty promises
I won't let the grass grow under my feet
I've done my best to make our song complete
Your interest rate is much too low
You think that i've no life of my own
The days have gone for your macho values
I won't be walking in your shadows
You're taxing me at your highest rate
You want my heart served on a plate
The balance of love is in the red
There's more to me than this double bed
Plenty of fish are left in the sea
I seem to have picked a shark for me
The balance of love is now in the red
I'm fed up with the empty things you said
It's as if you've never heard of give and take
Must stop messing up me life make no mistake
It's as if you've never heard of give and take
Make no mistake
Give and take
Price of your kiss too much to pay
I'll save myself for another day
You want my love but you don't want me
You say it's a gift but it's just a loan
You thing that i've no life of my own
The balance of love is in the red
Plenty of fish are left in the sea
I seem to have picked a shark for me
The balance of love is now in the red
I'm fed up with the empty things you said
It's as if you've never heard of give and take
Must stop messing up my life make no mistake
It's as if you've never heard of give and take

Thanks but no thanks
I will not buy a doctorate or any other second rate.
Useless diploma or degree that you are keen to sell to me.
A B.Sc or M.BA as long as I’m prepared to pay
You are prepared to certify not only that I qualify.
In any subject I may choose. There is no way you will
refuse to supply me with a degree. Almost not quite a forgery
Apparently legitimate but what these colleges don’t state
Employers who are worldly wise will refuse to recognise
Degrees which have been granted by some obscure university
Though you were fooled they will not be; employers are fooled easily
You will be wiser to ignore spam messages that promise more
Much more than what they can achieve. They should be banned I do believe.
They’re just a money making scam by folks who do not give a damn
About your future anyway as long as you’re prepared to pay
You have no come back legally you pay for your naïveté.

No Pain No Gain
Music :rudolf schenker
Lyrics:klaus meine, mark hudson
No pain no gain
No pain no gain
Face in the gutter eyes on the floor
Walk on down you know the score
It's a dead-end street back to the wall
Get it together you can get it all
The weak will fall the strong remain
No pain no gain
No pain no gain
No time for losers you make the call
Believe in yourself stand tall
Another day it's in your hand
You can be the winner in the end
The weak will fall the strong remain
No pain no gain
No pain no gain
No pain no gain
No pain no gain
Keep runnin' don't look back
Keep movin' straight ahead
Keep goin' don't ever stop
There's time to rest the day you'll drop
You roll the dice you play the game
The weak will fall the strong remain
No pain no gain
No pain no gain
No pain no gain
No pain no gain
No pain no gain
No pain no gain
