Love is reckless
Love is reckless; not reason.
Reason seeks a profit.
Love comes on strong,
consuming herself, unabashed.
Yet, in the midst of suffering,
Love proceeds like a millstone,
hard surfaced and straightforward.
Having died of self-interest,
she risks everything and asks for nothing.
Love gambles away every gift God bestows.
Without cause God gave us Being;
without cause, give it back again.

Passion
There's something in my heart
That I'm burning to say
Loving you ain't easy coz
My pride gets in the way
Words are like butter
Rolling off my lips
Cut like a knife
And now I'm sinking battleships
(You know you want)
Give me a reason to take you back
Give me a reason to share
Give me a reason cause love is a season
But give me a reason to care
I like my freedom
Yeh that's my style
My manifesto lullaby
Give me a reason cause love is a season
But give me no reason to cry
There's something in your kiss
That I can't let you go
My heart says yes
My head says no
Passion's so cruel
But so hard to resist
Unfashionably cool
But its you that I miss
Give me a reason to take you back
Give me a reason to try
Give me a reason cause love is a season
But give me no reason
My passion is in season

A reason to live
A man's reason to live is his very reason to die. His reason to live is his reason to sacrifice by his reason to love. His reason to love is his reason to die. If he died it would be a great sacrifice by reason of his faith. Then that reason of faith is substantiated if that love is good. Therefore his faith is purposeful.
A dangerous man has no reason to live and therefore no reason to love as all is lost. If that man has no love he has no reason for faith and he has no reason of faith because there is no love. He will give up his life easily. Look at the ones who love you and you will have the reason to live. That reason to live is what makes you believe in life. Therefore by reason of love you have faith and by reason of faith you have life. - John 17: 3

One Reason To Believe
Lighting candles in the church of my choice, loving strangers in the dark
Looking for someone to give me what I lack
Searching for something 'till you showed me the gun in my back
I'm human and I need it, I must have my beliefs
I open myself to the love, yeah
And I love you 'cause you showed me a merciful release
I'm living this time and I know you gave me the reason
Chorus:
One reason (to believe), one reason (you're the one)
One reason (to believe), one reason (my baby)
One reason (it's all I need), one reason (to believe)
One reason (my baby), one reason
Trying to get faith from the eight fifty paperbacks
Hoping they'll show me the way (the way to what?)
Man in a crisis, a young girl in his bed
She's trying to help him when she tells him it's all in his head
I'm human and I need it, I must have my beliefs
I open myself to the love, yeah
I love you 'cause you showed me a merciful release
I'm living this time and I know you gave me the reason
chorus
I bow to the east or I kneel to the west, it's a matter of faith
I'm the only one who has to believe it
chorus
(Solo)
One reason, one reason, one reason, one reason
I bow to the east or I kneel to the west, it's a matter of faith
I'm the only one who has to believe it
One reason (to believe), one reason (you're the one)
One reason (one reason), one reason (my baby)
One reason (that's all I need), one reason (to believe)
One reason (to believe), one reason (just give me one)
One reason (one reason), one reason (to believe)
One reason (it's all I need), one reason (my baby)
One reason (my baby), one reason (my baby)
One reason (you are the reason), one reason
One reason (that's all I want), one reason (that's all I need)...

The Reason
(carly simon/danny kortchmar)
The reason I wouldnt kiss you last night
I wouldn;t kiss you cause I was afriad
That Id like you too much
And if I liked you too much
Id be afraid that Id give you a present
And if I gave you a gift,
You might give me a gift
And then Id be afraid...
That I wouldnt like it
The reason, theres always a reason
Behind the reason
When you look for a reason
A reason, I can give you a reason
And maybe youll think
Its a really good reason
But I come up with the reasons
You asked me if Id scratch your back
I wouldnt scratch it
cause I was afraid that Id twist your arm
And if I twisted your arm
Id be afraid that it would lead to passion
And if we got too drunk
We might fall out of the bunk
And then i;d be afriad
We would have a concussion
Chorus
Dont ever live with your real love
Stop before it starts
Real love will last much longer
Stay stronger
Living in your heart
Yeah, thats where it belongs, in your heart
The reason, theres always a reason
Behind the reason
When you look for the reason
The reason, I can give you a reason
And maybe youll think
Its a really good reason
But I come up with the reason
Ill never have another chance
At the parsons dance
(hes gonna spank me)
Gotta be an apple tree growing in the field
Gotta be at frankies house right now
Gotta be at dannys house deja
Gotta meet a holy man
Hell be in the valley when amelia tries to land
(with his shirt off)
I can never be in love, I can only be in heat
And I never felt so...never felt so...
Never felt so...
Hot

God’s Valentine Gift
God’s Valentine Gift
God’s Valentine gift of love to us
Was not a bunch of flowers;
It wasn’t candy, or a book
To while away the hours.
His gift was to become a man,
So He could freely give
His sacrificial love for us,
So you and I could live.
He gave us sweet salvation, and
Instruction, good and true-
To love our friends and enemies
And love our Savior, too.
So as we give our Valentines,
Let’s thank our Lord and King;
The reason we have love to give
Is that He gave everything.

Sonnet XXXVIII: Sitting Alone, Love
Sitting alone, Love bids me go and write;
Reason plucks back, commanding me to stay,
Boasting that she doth still direct the way,
Or else Love were unable to endite.
Love, growing angry, vexed at the spleen
And scorning Reason's maimed argument,
Straight taxeth Reason, wanting to invent,
Where she with Love conversing hath not been.
Reason, reproached with this coy disdain,
Despiteth Love, and laugheth at her folly;
And Love, condemning Reason's reason wholly,
Thought it in weight too light by many'a grain.
Reason, put back, doth out of sight remove,
And Love alone picks reason out of love.

One Reason
We had each other
And we never knew how much we had
Hurt one another
till we took the good and turned it bad
But now were so much wiser
And we both know the score
Can we try just once more
Oh baby give me one reason
Why we shouldnt fall in love again
Oh baby give me one reason
Why we couldnt give our all again
If you miss me like I miss you
Oh baby give me one reason
Why we shouldnt fall in love again
Lets make it better
Now that we can see where we went wrong
Get back together
In each others arms we belong
Lets put the past behind us
Weve both had time to heal
So if you feel like I feel
Oh baby give me one reason
Why we shouldnt fall in love again
Oh baby give me one reason
Why we couldnt give our all again
If you miss me like I miss you
Oh baby give me one reason
Why we shouldnt fall in love again
If you need me like I need you
Oh baby thats the one reason
Why we ought to fall in love again
Oh baby give me one reason
Why we shouldnt fall in love again
Oh baby give me one reason
Why we couldnt give our all again
If you miss me like I miss you
Oh baby give me one reason
Why we shouldnt fall in love again

For The Love Of Him
When he opens the door and says I'm home
Be aware of the look in his eyes
They tell you the mood he's in
What kind of day its been
They'll be times where he wont say a word
And you'll wonder if its something you've said
A gentle touch of your hand
Will tell him you understand
For the love of him
Make him your reason for living
Give all the love you can give him
All the love you can
For the love of him
Make him your reason for living
Give all the love you can give him
All the love you can
He's a man and a man has to try
Let them run let them fall let them cry
His world wont fall apart
If you take him into your heart
For the love of him
Make him your reason for living
Give all the love you can give him
All the love you can
For the love of him
Make him your reason for living
Give all the love you can give him
All the love you can
He's a man and a man has to try
Let them run let them fall let them cry
His world wont fall apart
If you take him into your heart
For the love of him
Make him your reason for living
Give all the love you can give him
All the love you can
For the love of him
Make him your reason for living
Give all the love you can give him
All the love you can

Live for Love, Love for Live, Love! Love! Love!
Love you in the morning!
Love you in the evening,
Love you in the noonday,
Love you all the way!
Live for love, love for live, love! Love! Love!
Winter and summer come and just go!
But true lovers come and gather, never forgo,
Love tugs the heart string!
Love ignites the soul to sing,
Live for love, love for live, love! Love! Love!
I will give you the wind of my sky today,
I will give you the waves in my ocean someday,
I will give you the beat in my heart one-day!
I will give you the wreath of flowers everyday;
Live for love, love for live, love! Love! Love!
Love gives you inspiration,
Yet love takes your ambition!
Love gives you admiration,
Yet love takes your animation!
Live for love, love for live, love! Love! Love!
Love bestows you with promised lands Sojourn,
Yet love breaks your invigoration!
Love bestows you with fairylands forlorn,
yet love shocks your vilification!
Live for love, love for live, love! Love! Love!

I Love....
i love...
that's the reason i walk,
the reason i breathe.
the reason i grieve.
the reason i dance.
the reason i smile.
the reason i listen.
the reason i offer a hand.
the reason i see beauty.
the reason i see both darkness,
and light....
the reason i take chances.
the reason i keep going.
the reason i get angry.
the reason i forgive.
the reason i touch.
the reason i question.
the reason i believe.
the reason i am tolerant.
the reason i understand.
the reason i fall.
the reason i fly.
the reason i write...
the reason i am what i am!

Reasons
Give me the reason
That I want...
[1] - Give me the reason to love you
And I want to love you more
Oh give me the reason to love you
And I want to love you more
Sitting in here thinking about you
And all the joy you bring oh baby
I just can't live without you
Cause your love means everything
[Repeat 1]
Honey I've got to tell you
Just how you make me feel
Oh baby my love will never leave you
Cause I will be right here
And you know that I would do anything
Not to lose your love

Why I Love You My Beloved
Why I Love you my beloved
Why my love for you is so strong
How my heart's strings begins to vibrate
Every time that you fall to my mind
Why when I hear your name my soul gets wings
And like the baterfly begins to fly
Why I forget every reason that should make me hate you
Believe me when I say even I don't know
Yet the emotions of the love are so hard to be described
But only thigh that I'm sure from
That I do love the love because of your love
Yet I believe that the real love doesn't need a reason
To come true
It's so simple and clear
It's like to be or not to be
It's like to live or to die
To choose the Black or the white
It's so simple yet hard to be found
This is what's called the real love.

Love
love is not enough
love is not even love
without a happy glove
love isn't defined as specific
hard to tell if im in it
love is strong for me anyway
not so careless to give away
based on like lust envy
maybe its an eccentric energy
cant tell you it for any reason but my own
you want me to do it or just go home
forcing me to decide what i feel
as if what i've felt has grown
do you want me to decide on a whim
im sorry but i cant just give in
i guess im going to have to go
trying to turn me into a puppet show
pulling my strings to get what you want to
but maybe this is so hard
because i dont love you
Reasons
Many lives they come, many lives they go
Without reason
In my heart I know I cannot let go
Without reason
Little children dont you feel so sad
When you come home feeling lost and bad
You got a reason, oh you got a reason
Oh woman, I gave my heart to you
When I found out what youve been through
You got a reason, oh you got a reason
Many lives they come, many lives they go
Without a reason in your heart
How could you know?
In my heart I know I cannot let go
Without a reason in my heart
How could you know?
(I know)
When they find you crying sorrows tears
And its too late after all these years
You got a reason, gimme that reason
Its boys be strong and girls be weak
But children, careful how you speak
You got a reason, gimme that reason
Many lives they come, many lives they go
Without a reason in your heart
How could you know?
In my heart I know I cannot let go
Gotta reason in my heart and dont you know?
I believe in love
I believe in you baby
What about love?
Give it to me, you gotta give me a reason baby
Little children dont you feel so bad
When you come home feeling lost and sad
You gotta reason
Believe it in your heart and it will show

Reason be for you act
Reason be for you act
In every thing you must reason
Does it make sense
When you abuse your neighbor
Reason for if you say
You are a fisher
Then go to the deep sea
And catch big fishes
Rather than swimming around
And catching fingerlings
For there is no profit In that dealings
Reason for that is
The only way to prove
Yourself wealthy to live
Reason for if you plant a good seed
You will reap a good fruit
Reason for what you do today
Leads you to tomorrow
If you invest your life wisely
You will reap bountifully
Reason for there is difference
Between goodness and evil
So in everything you do reason
Even in decision making
How bad it is to kill
And how good it is to heal
Doesn't it make sense
When you love your neighbor
As thy self
Reason for even in that comes
Forever peace and freedom
For where there is love
There is joy and happiness
Don't you love progress
If you do then reason
Reason before you act
Isn't nice and wise
To judge equally

One Good Reason
Give me one good reason
That I should care
Give me one good reason
And Ill be there
Like a thief youve stolen
Like rain on a grave
Like a priest whos spoken
But failed to save
Now the air is empty
And the ground the same
Love has gone to be buried
Beside my name
Give me one good reason
That I should care
Give me one good reason
And Ill be there
Why couldnt you have told me
About your liars kiss
I cant believe youd leave me
At a time like this
And the wind is howling
And its a dying dream
And my faith is silent
While my doubts scream
Give me one good reason
That I should care
Give me one good reason
And Ill be there
Give me one good reason
Give me one good reason
Give me one good reason
That I should care
Give me one good reason
Give me one good reason
Give me one good reason
That I should care
Give me one good reason
Give me one good reason
Give me one good reason
That I should care

Love Is Reason
(pal waaktaar/ magne furuholmen)
My breath was coming fast
And as I make a start
You turn to go
Oh, oh
Ill do what you want me to
Ill cry at the thought of the loss of a heart
Love is reason
Love is reason
Love is reason
Love is reason enough
My morals are changing fast
I told you it wouldnt last
You turn and go
Oh, oh
Ill be what you want me to be
Id die at the thought of the loss of your heart
Love is reason
Love is reason
Love is reason
Love is reason enough

Give Me One Reason
Give me one reason to live without him
Give me one reason to walk away
I know you don't understand the reason
How can I show
That he is the reason i have to let you go
I've tried so hard to change your mind
I always thought you'd understand the reason why
Why i don't want to do the thing I used to do
Now that my heart and soul belong to God and God alone
Still every nights a fight to make it through
I cant deny I'm still in love with you
But how can you expect me to
Walk with him and give myself to you
Boy,I still long for your embrace
But what i've found in God it can never be replaced
Still i pray for the chance
As you slip through my hands you'll come around
But your hearts so far away from the words I'm tryin to say
Wish I could hod you both and still be true
Theres only one thing left for me to do
Baby, I Love You
But I can't stay with you unless you love him too
I'v found the path that i've gotta take no turning back to the old ways
i've gotta chance to take
Sacrifice to make
Whatever it takes I woan't turn away
