The Old Woman And The Old Mansion

the old woman as old as the old mansı on
plasters fallı ng down from the wall
brickets grinning grinnnig and grinn ing barely
tiles some broken...some sparse
unlocks the gate of the old ancient mansion
keeps the door open for a while
to collect some bushes and wood from the garden
to use as kindling in stove or oven
she seems to be alone
but knows how cope with life life..bitter life
she shouts at the dogs playing in the garden
and scoulds them to go away
it is winter
may be the second week of the january
some snow
some thistles though brownish yellow
are upright to heaven
though no sparrows and finches..desolate
she not only unlocks the gate of the old ancient mansion
but she also unlocks the memorı es of her life
she seems to be alone...alone and alone
cool as a stone..erect
she has accepted the bitter reality of life
where are her parents...her husband..
her children...
her sisters..her brothers..her relatives
next of kins
noone knows
she then enters the old ancient mansı on
locks and bolts the gate
at night
light gleams
from one of the second storey rooms
of the old ancient mansion
it is winter
may be second week of january
in one of the desolate gardens of universe
life goes on desolately
under the guard and auspı eces of our creator
the GOD

The Hoary Memories In Winter

a day in january
in winter with hoary and grey clouds
the hoary thistles in the garden up over there
the hoary thistles with hoary poppies
the hoary frost on them
the hoary mist up and down
no finches, no birds of any kind
except the black crows and ravens
crowing up and there
hoaring covered everywhere
a hoary man strolles on them
with unsteady steps and paces
what is he after
what is he looking for
what is he searching
look at the ancient houses there
some tumbling down
some with plasters all gone
what the hoary man looks for
what is he after
his childhood may be
his memories may be
and his lost..gone mother..he tries to see
in this hoary mist
he has so missed
and longed for
he stopped in the hoary mist as if hearing a voice
calling
oh son..come on..come now the meal is ready
he felt himself playing in the hoary garden
this must be his mother call
addressing and calling him from above
calling him to her new home
cause she has missed him too
oh the hoary grasses
oh the hoary houses
oh the hoary man
oh the hoary woman
oh the hoary world
oh the hoary graves
oh the hoary memories
are we not approaching hoariness
why did we live so quickly
how did our lives finished and faded suddenly

Blocked To Be Locked Out

How easy life becomes to get,
When one has a key to a door...
And that 'one' key unlocks it.

Suppose one has more than one key,
But finds that a door provides no entry.
And that is the door one desires to open.

How easy life becomes to get,
When one has a key to a door...
And that 'one' key unlocks it.

Suppose one has more than one key?
But wishes to go through one door to gain entry.
Only to discover...
One has been blocked to be locked out.

farewell summer GOOD_BYE

I live in Lake District in Turkey
for four years
as a permanent resident
after retirment
It is the hometown of my wife
rose district
iti is also called
the city Isparta
famous with her roses
especially with oil roses
rose oı ls
spilling on all over the world
scenting differently
the off spring are walkş ng
in obidiency
and silently and politely
holding their kins hands tightly
what a sight
but this summer
roses are in bankruptcy
nowadays
the purple and pink thistles
are turning brownish yellow
the sparrows..the finches...the goldfinches
are entering the uncultivated gardens scarcely
they have lost most of their joys
the sunflowers are opening wide
seeing the hottest sun
the butterflies are flying joyfully
the ancient house seems more desolate
her walls are mor wrinkled this year
at nights
ı cannot see any light
where are the olden women
living there
coping with themselves and life
the poplars around are hissing and whispering
in the winds
the green began to yellow
all my hopes are hollow
the crows
crow crow crow
and the madman
crows just like them
in the morning
the hazelnuts are still hanging on the trees
the grain be cut and scythed
some stains fell on the weather
ı feel
the hot days
will not last much further
farewell summer
good_bye
oh the last butterfly of summer
fly fly fly
when you are able to fly

Forty Letters To A Woman – Third Letter –

You were the harpist
At the gate of heaven.
I was about crossing that gate
when we first met.

I never though,
felt, or captured your inner songs
that flew with the harp melody
until I left heaven from the other gate.

I never knew
that your were the first picture
and the last sound of heaven
until I left it.

What remains
now in
my deepest memories
an ancient question
- and that is
what I try to get rid of: -

What makes heaven
heaven?
is it a melody,
a woman's melody at the gate of heaven,
or the silent melody in a woman eyes?

In this dispensation

In this dispensation
My message to the future generation
In this dispensation
Life is full of lies and atrocities
Neither the sword nor the gun
Can save you under the sun
Don't be deceived by appearance
Don't be deceived by materials
Knowing the difference between
Good and evil is the key
That which unlocks
The doors of eternity
In this dispensation
Life is full of illusion
It is full of superstition
Know that not all gritters are gold
The truth is difficult to say
But be bold
Life is full of oppression
But only the truth brings satisfaction
So learn the truth
In this dispensation

Jesus in the suburb

There’s a strange man
standing outside at the garden gate
on the other side of the mailbox
and he is dressed in a uniform
and looks somewhat familiar
but I cannot place him

and funny enough
the dogs are quiet
and to peaceful to my fancy
as if they
know him from somewhere

and I wonder what a traffic cop
is doing outside at the garden gate
and I am half irritated
when I open the front door,

but his uniform is somewhat strange
and looks like a flying suit
that a pilot would wear.

I wonder what he wants
and without talking he asks
do you know me?

There’s a bright like
shining like the sun
out of his loving eyes
and His hands has the marks
of old wounds
that has healed

and I wonder what He is doing
at the door of a sinful fool like me
and I open the gate wide
and He walks in.

Open The Gate

I see you from the distance
From beyond the fence you made
Hiding all your feelings
Behind your barricade
Oh have you been invaded
Is this the reason why you hide
I know just how you're feeling
I know - let me inside

Open the gate up
Open the gate up - hurry
Open the gate up - hurry

I want to get near you
But you just won't let me in
'Cause you're so scared of losing
Everything you've got within

Come on now you can trust me
Come on and open the door
'Cause I know just how you're feeling
I know - I've been there before

Open the gate up
Open the gate up - hurry
Open the gate up
Hurry hurry hurry hurry
And do it right now
Do it right now
Do it right now
Do it right now - hurry

Do it right now - do it right now
Do it right now - do it right now
And do it right now - do it right now
Do it right now - do it right now
Hurry

Open the gate up
Open the gate up - hurry
Open the gate up
Hurry hurry hurry hurry
Open the gate up - open the gate up
Or I'm gonna knock the damn door down
Open the gate up - open the gate up
Or I'm gonna knock the damn door down
Open the gate up - open the gate up
Or I'm gonna knock the damn door down
Open the gate up - open the gate up
Or I'm gonna knock the damn door down
Down

Fate vs Destiny

To find your true happiness tempt fate to discover your destiny.
You must hearken back to when real happiness was known
Remember its impact on your life
Opportunity knocks, open the door, you will see it coming.
You may be surprised to discover fate can mask your destiny.

Your fate and your destiny are not one in the same.
Your fate is what you settle for in life.
What you take as your life marches on day by day, an obligation to life.
Destiny is the gate you find at the end of the path you blaze
As you strive to attain life’s goal open the gate and find love,
Happiness and contentment; true peace of heart and mind.

Fate may leave you at destiny’s gate at the end of life.
Knowing only the travails of your battles to achieve life’s goal
Knowing not the sweetness of your victories.
The gate may not be open, leaving you empty
At the end of life's journey.

The path to your destiny is yours and yours alone
Ask yourself whether you wish to settle for your fate or…
Tempt your fate and discover the path.
The dark side of life; fear and self doubt can blur and cover the path.
Not always seen in the clear; hidden in your memory
Or on the full plate before you the path is always there.

Those who have known the depth of their love, the strength of their spirit,
Will find a guiding light illuminates their path.
In these qualities of character you will discover your true self
And the key to unlock the gate.
You will recognize the guide of your light.
The choice is yours, settle for fate or follow the light,
Find the key, unlock the gate … discover your destiny.

Haunts Of Ancient Peace

Beside the garden walls,
We walk in haunts of ancient peace.
At night we rest and go to sleep
In haunts of ancient peace.
The love and light we seek,
The words we do not need to speak,
Here in this wondrous way we keep
These haunts of ancient peace.
Let us go there again
When we need some relief
Oh, when I cant find my feet
When I need rest and sleep.
The sunday bells they chime
Around the countryside and towns
A song of harmony and rhyme
In haunts of ancient peace.
The holy grail we seek
On down by haunts of ancient peace.
We see the new jerusalem
In haunts of ancient peace.
Oh, when I cant find my feet
Oh, when I need some relief
One more time again.
You know I want to go there one more time again.
Be still in haunts of ancient peace.
(be still)

Ancient Words

Holy words long preserved
for our walk in this world,
They resound with God's own heart
Oh, let the Ancient words impart.
Words of Life, words of Hope
Give us strength, help us cope
In this world, where e'er we roam
Ancient words will guide us Home.
CHORUS:
Ancient words ever true
Changing me, and changing you.
We have come with open hearts
Oh let the ancient words impart.
Holy words of our Faith
Handed down to this age.
Came to us through sacrifice
Oh heed the faithful words of Christ.
Holy words long preserved
For our walk in this world.
They resound with God's own heart
Oh let the ancient words impart.
CHORUS x4
We have come with open hearts
Oh let the ancient words impart.

A Woman Inside of a Man

The wisdom of God comes to perfection when all, things reveal the
Glory of God that all things are created perfect, from the master plan
Of the universe where the immortal and the mortal subdue the earth,
With joy and happiness life trimmed of what is life everlasting

Never, it said that I am a woman, the time that I was in my mother’s
Womb, that I was of what I am now seen in me, never it tells that I
Am strong As Hercules. In the ancient time as I grow as a lady, dress
And feel that I was never before, than today and I know that in every
Granite stone unturned I’ve Seen the real me, a diamond blue of
Daffodils in the ocean of reality

Yes! I feel of what you don’t felt, I dream of what other dream too, I
Talk and understand what you talked about, I’ve seen as many visionaries
See, the Road that leads to what the heaven rejoice, waiting for me to
come, in a Distance land

When the moment of all moments comes into a day of reckoning, and
My Mind with your mind will be freed, and then what you will see is not
Only the true me, but a destiny that everybody is created equally to live
Happy as it could be

Now tell me, where to settled in my dream, where only I can tell, all have
Something to say, but Lou! Only the heaven above can judge the immortal
Being, like me He have made, where the ladder of soul he’ll take in the
Paradise we make

Guide me and guest my lowly soul, in you kingdom take it all, my self as
I stand in the altar, where I want, the universe I have just come with other
We stand as one, then tell me, where gone goes wrong in my life I cherish
It long ……God is perfect……

devil In Heaven

The devil is weak,
The devil is ill,
The devil is dying.

The clergy comes around,
The clergy offers prayers,
The clergy offers him the keys to heaven.

The devil collects the key,
The devil dies and soon is at the gate of heaven,
The devil unlocks the gate and now he’s in heaven.

The angels on guard knew him as a devil, but
The angels on guard made no attempt to stop him,
The angels on guard even said 'welcome'.

The devil is in heaven, ‘coz
The clergy gave him the key,
The clergy asked us to let him,
The clergy asked God to let him,
The key made the guards to let him,
Now the devil is in heaven,
And there’s nothing even the Devil can do about it.

The spirit of God

Life is simple
Life is both good and bad
Choose the good side

Life is right and wrong
Do what is right
Life offers wisdom and foolishness
So be wise

It is full of poverty and riches
But it is better to rich
Than to be poor

Life offer us happiness and sadness
Choose happiness
It is sore evil to like destruction
But a blessing to be a savior

Life is both positive and negative
So be positive
It is better to be strong
Than to be weak
Bad at the button
But better at the peak

Life is sweet and bitter
Taste it sweetness
All these shows heaven and hell
God and the devil
So choose God

Death is night

Death is the door to heaven.
Death unlocks the fetters of life.
It unbars the jail of life.
Yet no one wants to face the death.

Pre death is held more precious
Than the unknown post death in wait.
Nights aren’t dearer but sure to come.
So we must make bed for the night.

Watcher Of The Skies

Watcher of the skies watcher of all
His is a world alone no world is his own,
He whom life can no longer surprise,
Raising his eyes beholds a planet unknown.
Creatures shaped this planets soil,
Now their reign has come to an end,
Has life again destroyed life,
Do they play elsewhere, do they know
More than their childhood games?
Maybe the lizards shed its tail,
This is the end of mans long union with earth.
Judge not this race by empty remains
Do you judge God by his creatures when they are dead?
For now, the lizards shed its tail
This is the end of mans long union with earth.
From life alone to life as one,
Think not now your journeys done
For though your ship be sturdy, no
Mercy has the sea,
Will you survive on the ocean of being?
Come ancient children hear what I say
This is my parting council for you on your way.
Sadly now your thoughts turn to the stars
Where we have gone you know you never can go.
Watcher of the skies watcher of all
This is your fate alone, this fate is your own.

Prophecy of the Seasons

Evil darkness shall stain the earth,
In the ancient place where shadows lurk.
For summer's light cannot be found
There rivers of blood shall stain the ground.

An ancient stone will block the night
Sending the sun to shine with fiery light
For when summer comes, the sun returns
Night becomes day as evil burns.

The snows of winter will find the night,
And the summer sun will send the light.
The flowers of spring will bring the day,
For the leaves of Autumn shall fall away.

Ancient Recall

Ancient days that are all gone
I never had the chance to look upon.
I've heard of them.
I've read of them.
So why do I feel drawn
to these ancient times
That I do not know?
They are fascinating
and I can't let them go.

Days of horse-drawn carriages
and dresses that reach to the floor,
Nights lit up by lanterns,
Seclusion near a sycamore,
Music played by string quartets,
beautiful music by four.
I visualize all these things.
Have I lived this life before?

Somewhere from this vast universe
I hear a somber voice.
It speaks to me in sad remembrance
and says to me 'Rejoice.
All the days were your choice.
Enjoy them as you did in the past
for these too shall not last.
You will be drawn some day to them,
fascinated once more
by days that you'll call ancient,
ancient days of yore.'

Could The Spring Come Back Again

could the spring come back again or never
after we are accostumed to a harsh, white, frozen winter
the frozen sticks melted from the fringes
of the roofs
the hot rays of sun
are glitttering from the horizon
someone lit the light
somr sparrows and finches began to fly
on the yellow brown dog thistles
could the spring come back again
nobody knows how ı love my sisters
in their shields
protecting themselves
figthing with the harshness of life
defending themselves
walking like soldiers on roads
with big soldier bags on shoulders
prams fulll of children
some crying
some playing
some laughing
some sleeping in silence
could the spring come again
with her green leaves
multi color flowers
and singing birds
the little pretty girls
cladf in lovely dresses
may be twins
like lovely winter flowers
their mother in the midst
walking in the streets
telll me somebody
could spring come again
as in my young days
where and when
ı used to sing songs

Unintentionous Leisure

blac clouds on high sky
gulls..sea gulls..sparrows..swallows
the blue sea
a lizard on the ancient wall
tries to catch the sun
not moving..brown stone
some playing blackgammon
the echoes of dice and pieces
a melody from fifties, may be elvis the pelvis
it is antalya turkey
may be frank sinastra or paul anka
how he did his way
ıo hardly remember
girls gigling
women laughing
where am ı
ı cannot realise
is it a sea garden or heaven or paradise
somwhere near the sea
turning brown
then to yellow..the leaves fallıng
a swallow swervws on the sea again
like my life un intentıonous
people jogging
byxccles running
anglers catching
a poet tries to write a poem
on the roıck near the sea
a woman imitates reading a book
this maY BE LİFE
OF MY LEİSURE
untentıonous
where are my father and mother gone?
how quickly pasess the time
where is my aunt
where has she gone
what the sparrow is lookişng on my feet
how strange we have become to each other
a neighbour knows no neigbour
as though we are living in a harbour
waiting for our last ship for the last voyage
goıng unknown
wher are my my friends
when ı am in need
ı have lost al my friends one by one
saying farewell
how long this leisure will last
how many lives ı have lived
ı have not counted
and cannot remember
towards the stone bier in a mosque yard
to the last resort
when will this leisure end
when and where
I even to think not to dare

The Old Woman On The Road

why does the old woman
walk on the road
in her hand
a cane or a baton
softly and gently
tapping on the stone
as caressing
slowly and slowly
prone to her destiny
where are her children
where are her grand children
does she sees
enough to look
noone knows
lonely
as a desolate tree
when did they leave her
may be she is goı ng
to the desolate house she used to haunt
she lived with her husband
goı n g to water the flowers
in their garden
but her husband is dead
though she she quarrelled regularly
when he was alı ve
she misses him desperate
why did they leave her
alone
on the road
roads are dangerous
traffı ccı ng the cars
why does this old woman walk
with a cane or a baton
in handslowly..softly...gently
tapping on stone
her looks are even hopeful
never bored of lı fe
on this hour
on this time
why does the old woman
walk on the road
has she escaped from an asylum
or booted from it
ı t is evident
she does not see clearly
she looks like my poor auntie
how old women
look like each other
where are her children
where are her grand children
where are her beloved neighbours
a crow crows in the distant
in a desolate tree
does loneliness walks wth so diffı culty
and so bitter
how soon we have forgotten our elder
may god bewaring everyhing ever
hope god forget them never......
