Truly, deeply do I believe in love's power,
Not the tallest of men, but over all others I tower!
No one has the tremendous future I share-
Search high and low- you'll find nowhere!
Perfect as a descripter would be to understate-
Hopeful am I, that of love's power, you appreciate!
Ever increasing its power from one day to the next-
Not knowing of its presence- most become vexed!
Ne'er may any other render compare,
Nor would any other possibly dare
An attempt at comparison between the love of mine-
As inevitable shall I be the victor every time!

Burj Khalifa
A tower reaching for the sky
The tallest in the world they say.
The tiny country of Dubai
is very proud they can display
A master piece in steel and glass
A building that must be world class
A tower meant to demonstrate
the power of this little State.
Luxury writ unashamed
Which some think can be blamed
for wrecking the economy.
Which could be true quite possibly.
Dubai is asking time to pay
the debts incurred along the way
It could be that they aimed to high
and now they’re forced to question why.
The Tower of Babel was destroyed.
They say because God was annoyed
at the arrogance of men.
Dubai has dared to try again.

Sky Would You Like To Battle
Compare me to the sky and you might think I will lose
I am plain as day will during the day the sky is pretty blues
I do not have a best feature while the sky's is a sunset
betting you would rather see a rainbow then me is a pretty safe bet
you will see sparkles in the dark when you look up at night
and what could top a perfect full moon shining so bright
But I have something you cant find if you look up in the sky

I have a future
I built with with bricks and cement
And rods and rocks
But weak bonded future
did I join with it
The future I share with you
Of straw and ropes
And twigs and mud
The future we can't rebuild

He arrived on the scene
With no past and no future
He seemed to know your dreams

Besieged was my love life totally unwilled.
An Ivory Palace you have helped me build.
With walls so high and locks on the gates,
Watchmen all along the paths doth irritate.
Fascinated visitors come at the gate and go,
For not even the grounds I desire to show.
My will to find joy in love now all broken,
