Restoreth Is The Calm
Daughter of mine, in father's own likeness
Gabriella is your name, hopeful am I of your safety-
So too have I thought of you lately;
More and more, I implore- Daddy is righteous!
One way or another I will be there to your rescue-
Awaiting am I Mommy's inevitable cue!
Mommy made mistakes, told untruths and was erroneous-
In fact, more was it her behavior, more than mine, that was felonious!
Kalina's little sister, Mommy's little girl:
One of Daddy's most revered bequeaths in the whole world!
All my love from afar, to all of you there-
Soon we shall no longer relegate to speaking of care!
Alas, after the storm, restoreth is the calm
Search have we both long and hard for life's balm!

What Children Worry About
Mommy
Mommy, mommy
what’s going on in the world today?
Mommy am I going to be OK?
I heard some kids were wearing bombs
and blowing people up..
Mommy their world is very far away.
They can’t come here, right mommy?
Am I going to be OK.

Daddy
Daddy, daddy
I asked mommy some questions yesterday,
and tears were in her eyes.
She’s really scared daddy,
I know the reason why.
The kids with bombs,
might be here in our schools.
They won’t listen to the rules.
Mommy is really scared that one day,
you’ll both have no choice but to send me away

Mommy, Daddy
Mommy, Daddy, there’s no reason to fear
I figured it out late last night.
I said the words for God to hear.
I know He knows all things
and will do what’s right,
sooo… we say the words for God to hear,
everyday and every night.
Guess what Mommy, Daddy
everything will be alright.
Mommy, why are you still crying? ? ?

Mommy & Daddy
Ask your mommy and daddy, what happened to the indian?
How come theyre all living in places
With too much snow or too much sand?
Tell your mommy, I got a funny feeling deep inside of me
Ask your daddy, is it really as bad as people make it seem?
Wa ta tick it ta too too..
Ask your mommy why everybody swallows all those little pills
Ask your daddy why that soldier doesnt care who he kills
After theyve put you to sleep and tucked you safely down in your bed
Whisper, mommy and daddy would you rather that
I learned it from my friends, instead?
Do you think Im to young to know, to see, to feel, or hear
My questions need an answer or a vaccuum will appear
Dont be surprised if they turn and walk away
And tell your mommy and daddy that you love them anyway
That you love them anyway...
Give them a kiss
Love will set you free
Kings of emi
Mommy and daddy (alt.)
Ask your mommy and daddy, what happened to the indian?
Ask your mommy and daddy to tell you where you really came from
Then mommy and daddy will probably turn and quickly walk away
Then ask your mommy and daddy who really killed j.f.k
Wa ta tick it ta too too...
Ask your mommy if she really gets off on all her - all her pills
Ask your daddy, why doesnt that soldier care who he kills?
After theyve put you to sleep and tucked you safely down in your bed
Whisper mommy and daddy,
Would it matter if the bullet went through my head?
If it was my blood spilling on the kitchen floor
If it was my blood, mommy, would you care a little more?
Dont be surprised when they turn and start to cry
And tell your mommy and daddy, tell your mommy and daddy
Scream it to your mommy and daddy
Theyre living in a lie, a lie, a lie
Its all a lie, a lie, a lie
A lie, a lie...

Daddy Why?
Daddy why did you leave Mommy before I was born?
Daddy why weren't you there for my birth?
Daddy why did you divorce Mommy when I was only five months old?
Daddy why did you day those mean things about Mommy?
Daddy why weren't you there for my first birthday?
Daddy why weren't you there when I took my first step?
Daddy why weren't you there when I got hurt?
Daddy why weren't you there when I became a teenager?
Daddy you're not going to be there when I turn 16.
Daddy you're not going to be there when I graduate from high school.
Daddy you're not going to be there when I get married.
Daddy you're not going to be there when I have children of my own.
Daddy you're NEVER going to be here.
Daddy you had a choice.
Daddy I chose too.
Daddy I NEVER WANT TO BE LIKE YOU!

The Diary Of A Young Girl (diary From An Angel)
Dear Diary,
Daddy was on the couch again
Mommy left again.
I walked alone to school today,
Somtimes i feel alone, sometimes I feel like a real lady.
My friend left me at lunch,
I was alone, I miss her a bunch.
I got a bruise from daddy,
He told me I have to do what he says, and call him daddy
Mommy got home late tonight,
But thats no different from every night.
Daddy put me in bed with him,
I said I didn't want to, but he made me do it with him.
I cut myself, I cut my arm,
I sat and did my own harm.
Daddy and mommy were yelling,
Please don't tell, the don't know I am telling.
Daddy threatened me,
He said I ruined his life, and that I can't start new.
Mommy said I was nothing
God said she's bluffing.
Daddy killed mommy today,
As I sat and watched today.
Mommy left me alone here,
I can't feel her near.
Daddy says I'm his now, his to enjoy,
That my body is his toy.
Daddy cut through my body,
He didn't stop, even when i said I had to go potty.
♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
I met god today
I saw mommy's face again today.
I don't want to see daddy again,
Not after the pain he's left with me, with nothing to gain.
I left him alone in the world,
I left him alone.
He hurt me yesterday, that's all I know now,
I'll never forget...... I don't know how

Daddy Died Mommy Cried The Little Girl Laughed
Daddy is dead
Mommy shakes her head
They say Mommy poisoned him
And all the little girl can do is laugh
The little girl wanted to shout joyfully
It was all the little girl's fault
The little girl poisoned Daddy
Finally the little girl's revenge
Mommy and Daddy used to beat the little girl all the time
Mommy would watch and laugh while the little girl screamed
Because Daddy was raping the little girl
hey people a girl i knew wrote this poem
creepy huh?

You Were The First That I Wanted
Mommy,
I don't like the way that man is looking at us.
'Wave to him, baby...
That's your daddy.'
But I thought you said,
Uncle Barry was my daddy.
'Uncle Barry is your sister's daddy.'
Then 'who' is Uncle Moe, mommy?
'Uncle Moe, ?
Is my daddy, baby.'
But wouldn't that make him,
My grandfather?
That's what you told Billy!
'But Billy is the baby, honey?
And him being the youngest...
I needed to have at least 'one' child of mine,
Not as dysfunctional as the others.'
What does that mean?
'You will know that soon enough! '
But I thought I was your baby, mommy?
'You ARE?
You will always be my baby, honey.
You were the first that I wanted.'
Oh?
Oh...
Okay!
And I wanted your sister and brother too.
But not like the way I wanted you!
Oh?
Oh...
Okay!

An Unborn Child's Poem
Today my life began, but some say I’m not a real person yet,
Yes they say only Mommy exist, because me they have not yet met.
But just like a small crumb of bread is yet truly a bread,
My Mommy is and so am I, so they once in the Bible have read.
Yes for even when I was made in secret,
God saw even the embryo of me,
In a fear-inspiring way, I am wonderfully made,
even now to be.
Just think in a year or so, I shall be laughing and later talking,
Mommy and Daddy will be the first to see me walking.
Only 20 days, but my heart is beating on its own,
Gently beating, whispers of a lovely tone.
I am to be a girl, with blond hair and blue eyes,
I am growing a bit every day, and becoming very wise.
I want to learn to sing and dance,
To giggle and love at every chance.
To make Mommy and Daddy very proud of me,
When I become a young lady to be.
When I graduate, I want to be an artist or maybe even a scientist,
I know Mommy would support me, even if I pick another one on my list.
Tup-tup, tup-tup, are you listening Mommy to the whispers of my heart,
Suddenly today I feel differently on my part.
I scream with silent tears, “No Mommy I’m not ready to come on out,
I wonder if she hears my little shout.
I love you Mommy, I need more time to be with you,
I love you Mommy, Do you love me too.
I want to get married, and have my own kids to love and to hold,
To treat you nice and take care of you when you and I grow old.
My hopes and dreams disappeared in a instant and suddenly without a thought,
Mommy did not stop to think how very hard for my life I did fought.
Yes today I took my last little breath, never to have a chance to see,
The possibilities that I can be, Because today was the day that my Mommy killed me!

Woke Up With A Monster
Words and music by rick nielsen, robin zander and tom petersson
Hush little darling, dont you cry.
Daddys coming home, coming home tonight.
No bed of roses for your head, for you.
You see no future, its all in the past.
This is a nightmare, wont be your last.
Its hard to admit, its hard to admit youre that blind.
Mommy and daddy dont see eye to eye.
Mommy and daddy dont see when we cry.
Mommy and daddy they dont understand.
Whats wrong with this picture, is right in their hands.
Sleeping with an angel. ah.___
Woke up with a monster. ah.___
Sleeping with an angel. ah.___
Woke up with a monster. ah.___
Hush little darling, dont be long.
Mommas little angel cant do nothing wrong.
No bed of roses in your head, for you.
Wholl dry your tear when you cry?
Daddys comin home just in time.
Will, he be the one to make it, to help make it right?
Mommy and daddy dont see eye to eye.
Mommy and daddy make each other cry.
Sleeping with an angel. ah.___
Woke up with a monster. ah.___
Sleeping with an angel. ah.___
Woke up with a monster. ah.___
Not sleeping with an angel. ah.___
Not sleeping with an angel. ah.___
Mommy and daddy dont see eye to eye.
Mommy and daddy dont hear when we cry.
Mommy and daddy dont see eye to eye.
Mommy and daddy dont see when we cry.
Mommy and daddy they dont understand.
Whats wrong with this picture, is right in their hands.
Sleeping with an angel. ah.___
Woke up with a monster. ah.___

Happiness is...(part two)
Kids do the cutest things...
I say to my daughter
'Daddy wants to sleep now'
The little one, of 22 months, says 'Not me! '
Shaking her head vigorously
My daughter wants to crawl under my covers
So I let her
She climbs on the bed
When Mommy enters, she says
'Come on, Daddy wants to sleep'
Her answer 'Ok, fine, I promise! '
Mommy laughs
And leaves
Just as she exits
My daughter exclaims 'Lights Mommy! '
So Mommy again laughs
Turns out the lights
Then after a minute or so
She gets up
Gives me a kiss
Climbs down the bed
And leaves me
And says 'Goodnight sweet dreams! '
Ask me what Happy is
This, This is Happy
I will never be...That Girl
there's this stereotype
of a guys type
a girl that every guy wants to sleep with
but never wants to be with
that girl
daddy's little girl
who never had a daddy in this world
who grew up all too fast
and did whatever to make up for lost past
that girl
the girl who wanted to be just like mommy
not knowing that mommy
would be the cause
of her insecurities
that girl
i will never be that girl
i refuse to be that girl
i feel sorry for that girl

Surrender
Mother told me, yes, she told me I'd meet girls like you.
She also told me, "Stay away, you'll never know what you'll catch."
Just the other day I heard a soldier falling off some Indonesian junk that's
going round.
Mommy's alright, Daddy's alright, they just seem a little weird.
Surrender, surrender, but don't give yourself away, ay, ay, ay.
Father says, "Your mother's right, she's really up on things."
"Before we married, Mommy served in the WACS in the Philippines."
Now, I had heard the WACS recruited old maids for the war.
But mommy isn't one of those, I've known her all these years.
Mommy's alright, Daddy's alright, they just seem a little weird.
Surrender, surrender, but don't give yourself away, ay, ay, ay.
Whatever happened to all this season's losers of the year?
Ev'ry time I got to thinking, where'd they disappear?
When I woke up, Mom and Dad are rolling on the couch.
Rolling numbers, rock and rolling, got my Kiss records out.
Mommy's alright, Daddy's alright, they just seem a little weird.
Surrender, surrender, but don't give yourself away, ay, ay, ay.
Away.
Away.

Results Of Any Choices Made
I've never found it acceptable,
How grown people still use their childhoods...
To make continued excuses for themselves.
With the seeing of psychologists, psychiatrists...
And others designated to be certified,
To professionally analyze their minds.
With a trying to get them to realize and find,
That a being held accountable with a clarity...
For one's own decisions made,
Is no longer the responsibility of mommy and daddy.
However...
Mommy and daddy should have been arrested...
A long time ago,
For permitting such spoiled children...
Access to beliefs,
They were entitled to point blame on others.
With a dismissing of strict discipline,
To ensure those now thoughtless knew the difference.
Mommy and daddy could be 'sentenced' for not doing this.
BUT...
Regardless of what should have taken place?
The results of any choices made are clearly to be,
What they are as seen from what has been selected...
To represent the best of efforts allowed and condoned.

T'was the Night Before Christmas
Her mommy was sound asleep, Her daddy was on the couch, Watchin' the T.V, She got up to use the potty, Hopefully he wouldn't see, Then she got back in her bed, She heard him walkin', And fallin' on the walls, 'cause he was drunk,
Then she prayed: 'Hopefully he wouldn't slap me, Please don't let him kick, Please not a bite or a scratch, Not even a knick, Please don't let it happen, Not on this wonderful night...', Then he opened her door, Grabed her by her neck, What a horibble sight, He put her down with a slam, Grabed her by her hair, And pulled her down the hall,
She screamed, She kicked, Then she yelled, 'WHAT DID I DO? ' After that he let go, He punched, He hit, There was nothing she could do, But lay there and cry,
Then her mommy screamed at her, For making her daddy angry, Mommy grabed a beer bottle, Then through it a her head, Her mommy said 'clean up this mess then go back to bed', She did as her mommy said, Then her mommy grabed her daddy by the arm, And went back to bed, Then she noticed she was bleeding from her head,
She grabed the phone and called 911, But I guess they were to late, 'cause when they got there, She was already dead,
T'was the night, Before christmas, The same night that little girl died, If you listen closely, You can still hear her cry.

Mommy Why?
**This poem is not about me...it just came out of my head**
Why did they rip your heart out, mommy?
Why did they hate you so much?
Mommy, why didn't they accept you
Mommy why?
Why are you dead mommy?
What did they do?
How did it happen?
Mommy, why did it have to happen to you?
Oh i need to know why
Mommy please come back
Mommy i'm sorry i called you a bitch
Mommy i really don't hate you
Mommy please come back, i need you

One last time.
One last time daddy hold me close to your heart.
One last time daddy let's play Scrabble so I can win.
Daddy one more time to walk together, talking about the next trip.
Daddy for the very, last time tell me that you love me very much so.
Mommy one last time, doing my make-up for me.
One last time mommy, cook tacos and cake for a birthday.
Just one last time mommy, the laugh that we will never forget.
Mommy just one more time to go to the mall together with your best friend.
One last time sister, playing with dolls in your room that your share with me.
Sister one more time to ride daddy's motorcycle with him.
Sister just one more time to cook with mommy and daddy.
One last time sister to share a room, wear each other clothes.
Brother one more time for the fun, old memories when we never fought.
Brother one more time fun of it chasing the dogs around the yard.
One last time brother to go running through the woods for you.
Brother one more time to play hide and go seek for grandpa.
One last time grandma cooking for the family reunion and grandma for the very last time measure a skirt.
One last time grandma to sew and sew the skirt for me to wear on Sunday.
Grandma one more time to get the laughs all the time.
One more time grandpa to read the Christmas story from the Bible.
Grandpa one more time for memories sake hide and go seek up in the trees.
One last time hold me tight please do not let me go.
Please one more time let me go to sleep on your lap.

You Helped...
Dad... Mom told you
she told you she was leaving
She told you she was taking us
She told you she was sick of the pain
She told you she was sick of the fighting
So was I
I was sick of the fighting
Sick of the leaving in the middle of the night
Sick of consouling my mother day after day
Sick of hearing you cry about the mistakes you made
Sick of the life you just let drift away
I was your little girl
I was your rock and stone
I was not enough to stop picking up the weed
Daddy its not the fact you didnt try hard with mommy
But I wasnt enough to keep it from happening
Daddy im not your little girl..
Im a bigger person than you...

The Simple Prayer Of A Child
'missing in action'...
they didnt know...
dont get your hopes up,
we're doing all we can...
she lay on the bed
and wept uncontrollably...
the little boy sat in the darkness,
thinking...
he got down off his bed,
and down on his knees:
'God, if you're out there,
if you're real...
help my mommy, help me,
bring my daddy home! '
the room was still,
he could hear his own breathing...
suddenly light poured through
the window, and flooded his room.
the little boy got up
and ran to his mother's side.
'mommy, mommy, daddy's ok,
he's not lost...'
'what do you mean, honey?
what are you saying? '
'he's not lost, mommy...
remember what he said
before he left...
he's in our hearts! '
she took the little boy
in her arms and hugged him...
they fell asleep in the stillness.
the next morning the phone rang.
she answered, and listened,
her mouth agape...
'what is it mommy, what is it? '
she put down the phone...
'they found him, he's ok,
they said it was dumb luck...'
they hugged each other crying.
dumb luck, i think not...
the simple prayer of a child!
