Sworn To Love

My heart is sworn to love
to another, anothers name
etched into my soul
the night in which we sleep
I hold close their thought
that I may never let them go
my heart is sworn to love
my heart is sworn to them
as beautiful as I could speak
no words shall surfice
to praise more that name
I hold close in each night
it is to such devotion
it is to such thought
I find myself forever sworn
sworn to love

Destiny of the heart

Destiny of the heart
~
maybe I am sworn
to love you eternal
my thoughts fill
a future with you
they return constant
to your picture
forever beautiful
forever bound
to my innermost soul
perhaps fate decided
or chance prevailed
however it stands
my heart is taken
sworn only to you
a love eternal

A declaration of my love

A declaration of my love
~
It is to her laugh my heart smiles
Her playful nature my soul rejoices
She has more beauty than any portrait
She is ever growing and changing
Yet constant to my thoughts and love
My muse, sweet beauty cherish her name
Her eyes the warming tempest of desire
Hold me transfixed as the night
It is to her smile my heart sings
Her comforting touch I lay beside
What could be more beautiful I ask
Than who I love so entirely
That my heart, my love is sworn

Jean Baudrillard

The world is not dialectical - it is sworn to extremes, not to equilibrium, sworn to radical antagonism, not to reconciliation or synthesis. This is also the principle of evil.

This Life

I have sworn that I shall try to keep
all the things that don’t make me weep
foremost in my daily excursions
and in the folly of my diversions.

For to weep at all of misfortunes and woes
is to spend my life in doubt,
never to fully enjoy life’s gifts
and find myself without

all the things I came here for,
granted by my birth.
the bounteous gifts that I do own
and all that they are worth.

I have sworn to take in stride
whom I’ve become and shun all pride.
As I walk each step in front of me
I will do my best in repartee.

For to stay silent and keep within
is to always lose and never win
I’d succumb to loneliness and sorrow
and sit and wait for an endless tomorrow.

And those tomorrows may never appear.
I may only have today.
So all I have sworn is what I will do,
no matter come what may.

First off, we've had sworn testimony from soldiers and testimony before our staff that wasn't sworn, that said these alarms rarely went off, that they went off after the war in most cases and went off a lot.

A Letter Of Love

I sit and best search
For what words to write
To express my entire devotion
Which seems to have fallen to you
I find myself thoughts adrift
Amid a dream of you my sweet
A dream I do not wish to wake from
No I only wish to be with you
How can I best pen such tribute
That you will read and love
As I now love you
Of all the words ever spoken
Of those once listen to
Which I demand of myself
May express my entire devotion
My heart is sworn
In writing to you

An ode to your smile

An ode to your smile
~
My heart was sworn to you
When I first saw you smile
You are the most beautiful girl
I wish my words could reach you
That I could say all I wish to speak
Having found silence to be a wall
I have hid behind my whispers
Those disguised words I’ve penned
Hoping you would hear my heart
I find your beauty inspiring
It flows more than skin deep
You are in my soul and my mind
I look at you as I would the world
You are the verse to every poem
The melody to every song
And in your smile, I found love
A heartbreaking beauty when missed
A wonder when witnessed
And every time I see you smile
I fall in love that little bit more

Ex-lovers Met In FB

Their love was once sworn
In churches and on trees
Their names were written
Yet quickly forgotten

Earlier in life, she left
To California to be exact
Arrive in SF
At no place to start

Thereafter two decades
Of mailmen just passing by
She married first
While he waits her prize

Now FB reign its purpose
Connecting those who were lost
Friends of friends come enforce
They found each other at no cost

Unfinished book re-opens
Of their love sworn once
By saying hello instead
He wrote: "How are you my love? "

Half A World Away

This could be the saddest dusk
I've ever seen
Turn to a miracle
high alive
My mind is racing
As it always will
My hand is tired my heart aches
I'm half a world away here
my head sworn
To go it alone
And hold it along
Haul it along
And hold it
Go it alone
Hold it along and hold

Is tied to my heart

This friendship shall last

It shall never be broken
A promise now made
Will be kept as it was sworn
From the heart and soul

Liebestod

When I was bold, when I was bold-
And that's a hundred years!-
Oh, never I thought my breast could hold
The terrible weight of tears.

I said: "Now some be dolorous;
I hear them wail and sigh,
And if it be Love that play them thus,
Then never a love will I."

I said: "I see them rack and rue,
I see them wring and ache,
And little I'll crack my heart in two
With little the heart can break."

When I was gay, when I was gay-
It's ninety years and nine!-
Oh, never I thought that Death could lay
His terrible hand in mine.

I said: "He plies his trade among
The musty and infirm;
A body so hard and bright and young
Could never be meat for worm."

"I see him dull their eyes," I said,
"And still their rattling breath.
And how under God could I be dead
That never was meant for Death?"

But Love came by, to quench my sleep,
And here's my sundered heart;
And bitter's my woe, and black, and deep,
And little I guessed a part.

Yet this there is to cool my breast,
And this to ease my spell;
Now if I were Love's, like all the rest,
Then can I be Death's, as well.

And he shall have me, sworn and bound,
And I'll be done with Love.
And better I'll be below the ground
Than ever I'll be above.

The Beginning of a Hearts Affections

What is this come to pain, hearts affections
A word named love by many tongues
How it overwhelms the mind beyond all reason
What beauty is accredited to this force
That no living soul immune to its touch
can say to have defied such emotion
No love by its own name is completion
What else could claim such conquest over man
A word, a thought, a feeling, what is this
To now find freedom meaningless is pain
But what pains more than being without that soul
Who began the beginning of this event
A soul whom arrived here in full beauty
Has now a heart sworn unto its protection

The two lives

Today I saw two sons being born
Both with that loud wail they came
Innocently eager to meet their destines
To walk that earth and be somebody,
Rewrite the thought about their land
They shared a brightness in their eyes.

Today I saw two youthful boys pass by
One with a bag going on to school
Running fast to meet his tomorrow,
He held that same brightness in him.
The other with a bunch of firewood
Too scared to even hold his head up high,
Scared to think, what tomorrow is to be?

Today two men woke up in the morning
One was rushing; he’s to be sworn in today,
Sworn in as one of the Ministers of State
The other rushed to sit by the roadside,
At least today the minister will see him
Maybe, today he will and give him a coin.

Today I saw those two sons of Africa
That were born to be the same, a blessing
But only one got the chance to become
One lived safe and became then, educated
He alone received his right in life.

I hate You And Yet

I hate everything about you
The way you walk,
The way you talk

I hate the way
You hold your head high
Even after
You made me cry

I hate your smile
It causes me pain

I hate your tears
They Fall like Rain

I hate the way
You hold onto her
Almost as if
Your her sworn protector

I hate when it when
I hear you speak

I hate everything you do
And yet, I still love you.

A Soul Love

Its no use trying to fight
When a thought is a feeling like this
The way you make me feel
I am wasting my time in denial
I am sworn to a dream of you
A dream of you and I together
It’s a beautiful sight
I just it were more than a dream
More than words on paper
I just need to be with you
And have you with me
Its no use trying to fight
This is a feeling I cannot hide
I know all I need to know
I want you in my life
You are beautiful and I know
That will never change
I guess I have fallen for you
And this I can never hide
Its no use trying to fight anymore
Because you being in my heart
Have become a part of my life
And I love you, you are beautiful
I just wish your were more than a dream
To my life, right now, tonight

By rising Sun
Be carried away, never again.

My love
In my face
Had sinned, no grace.

You, I had seen

You melted, rocky heart, mine!

Newborn Love

A pure love is born,
It is a love that cannot be torn,
The both of us did sworn,
That we will be together.

And that this love will never be broken,
Nor you will never be taken,
Nobody will never ever hinder us,
If they do it will be a big fuss.

So I hope this will last forever,
Because I swear, that you will be my last and first love.

Its Not Just Me

(jay demarcus/marcus hummon)
Tell me youve had trouble sleeping
That you toss and turn from side to side
That its my face youve been seeing
In your dreams at night
Tell me that you wake up crying
And youre not sure exactly why
Tell me that something is missing
In your life, in your life baby
Tell me that you live for love
That forever is never enough
That youve waited all your life to see
That you want so badly to believe
Tell me that its not just me
I could have sworn I saw you smile at me
Standing in the pouring rain
At a loss for words and running out of time
I said this crazy ting (crazy thing), I said
Tell me that you live for love
That forever is never enough
That youve waited all your life to see
That you want so badly to believe
Tell me that its not just me
Hold me now and tell me that you do believe
In a soul, a soul mate
And tell me, and tell me, tell me
Tell me that you live for love
That forever is never enough
That youve waited all your life to see
That you want so badly to believe
Tell me that its not just me

Might Be Your Love

Written by dewey bunnell, 1980
Found on alibi.
Sometimes when youre there all alone
Someone will call you at home
You dont want to but pick up the phone
Might be your love
Might be your heart
Someone to hold you
All alone in the dark
Someone who you thought would belong
Came passing, moved right along
You dont know why but something went wrong
Might be your love
Might be your heart
Someone to hold you
All alone in the dark
Someone to hold you, someone to hold
Someone to hold you, someone to hold
Some girl who you watched at her desk
Came dancing on with her dress
And she looked up and wouldnt you guess
She might be your love
Might be your heart
Someone to hold you
All alone in the dark
Might be your love (might be your love)
Might be your heart (might be your heart)
Someone to hold you
All alone in the dark
(someone to hold you)
Might be your love (someone to hold)
Might be your heart (someone to hold you)
Might be your love (someone to hold)
Might be your love (might be your love)
Might be your heart (might be your heart)
Someone to hold you
All alone in the dark
Might be your love (might be your love)
Might be your heart (might be your heart)
Someone to hold you
All alone in the dark
Might be your love (might be your love)
Might be your heart (might be your heart)
Someone to hold you
All alone in the dark ...
