Portrait of a heart
Portrait of a heart
~
A portrait piece by piece
built through the heart
presents a romantic world
memories tell a moving tale
the full beauty of a loving heart
where the artist knows no end
and feels the strain of pride
still the picture takes its shape
to present a landscape of a life
touched by the words of love
scarred by the losses felt
the heart speaks and draws
from the uncharted depths
there in the eye of its picture
a romance reveals
a portrait of a world
built through the heart

Round & Round
I just can't help thinking
What you've done to me
You built a wall of love and tore it right down
In front of me
And you think you know what's going on
You keep telling me that i am wrong
I don't care about what you do
'cause if you mess with me i'll get rid of you
The picture you see is no portrait of me
It's too real to be shown to someone i don't know
And it's driving me wild
It makes me act like a child
You think i am crazy, but what can i do
You waste your time, like my money
It ain't so funny, but it's true
(don't waste my money, baby)
Now you can't tell me what's going on
And that i am weak while you are strong
What is it you need, that makes your heart bleed
Do you really know? 'cause it doesn't show
The picture you see is no portrait of me
It's too real to be shown to someone i don't know
And it's driving me wild
It makes me act like a child
The picture you see is no portrait of me
It's too real to be shown to someone i don't know
And it's driving me wild
It makes me act like a child

The gallery of my heart
The gallery of my heart
~
Like a portrait hung
In the gallery of my heart
A girl of undoubted beauty
Breathtaking and full of wonder
Holds my gaze completely
I find my words flowing
In a river of adoration
I dedicate her my soul
There is a girl of beauty
Beyond which none compare
Painted to a memory
In the gallery of my heart
The softness of her eyes
A warmth to her lips
Fair skin and cascading hair
What love may imagine
When looking upon
A girl in portrait hung
In the gallery of my heart

Portrait of life...
Awakened to the rough sketch of another morning,
The birth of this new day but a canvass of new creation,
The pallette of life felt in every breath and sense I feel,
My portrait slowly takes shape as the day unfolds,
I am the artist painting life upon another days canvas,
The beauty I preceive has influence on those around me,
For I possess a power within known to all true poets,
The power to paint a beautiful landscape of hope,
Or to darken man's reality with visions of despair,
What picture of eternity shall you paint upon life's journey? ...
Spread the love... The peace will follow...

In My Heart...
In my heart...sweet devotion
In my heart...deep emotion
In my heart...lies true bliss
In my heart...your warm, last kiss
In my heart...a burning fire
In my heart...endless desire
In my heart...our love was built
In my heart...I hide no guilt
In my heart...memories of our love
In my heart...I keep your last hug
In my heart...Memories of this war
In my heart...I don't want them anymore.

Piece Of My Heart
Didnt I make you feel
Like you were the only one
Didnt I give you everthing
That a man possibly can
But all the love I give you
Its never enough
But Im going to show you baby
That a man can be tough
Come on come on come on come on
And take it take another little
Piece of my heart
Break it break another little
Piece of my heart
Have it have another little
Piece of my heart
You know youve got it if it makes you feel good
Youre out on the street looking good
And you know deep down in your heart it aint right
And you never never hear me
When I cry for you each night
Sometimes I tell myself I cant stand the pain
But when I hold you in my arms
I say it again
Come on come on come on come on
And take it take another little
Piece of my heart
Break it break another little
Piece of my heart
Have it have another little
Piece of my heart
You know youve got it if it makes you feel good
Sometimes I tell myself I cant stand the pain
But when I hold you in my arms I say it again
Come on come on come on come on
And take it take another little
Piece of my heart
Break it break another little
Piece of my heart
Have it have another little
Piece of my heart
You know youve got it
So take it take another little
Piece of my heart
Break it break another little
Piece of my heart
Have it have another little
Piece of my heart
Take it take another little
Piece of my heart
Break it break another little
Piece of my heart
Have it have another little

8th Grade Graduation
A puzzle together
a puzzle apart
each piece belongs to my heart
each piece is differant
each piece is great
But now they have to take on the long expected fate
They knew it would come
the day was here
the day they dreaded at the beginning of the year
The day they would be pulled apart
the whole would be broken
they knew it from the start
A piece here
and a piece there
how could life be so unfair
The beautiful picture the puzzle protrayed
is now forgotten
the pieces have strayed
They went away
fell beneath the wooden table
the puzzle would never again be stable
But that puzzle is forever in my heart
the memories of each piece
will never fall apart

You have touched my heart...
When I met you first
I know you are made for me
Your charming personality won me
From that day you are in my heart
My heart is filled with full of love
and want to fall in your arms
When I think of you
wonderful feelings run through my heart
You have touched my heart with your gentle words
You have touched my heart with your soul
You have touched my life with gentleness
and filled with full of love
I feel your beauty in my heart
I feel you are with me every moment
and I can not find anyone else
I need you now because you have touched
my heart

My Photo Album
The photo album stores the history of my life,
Every page is the mirror of bygone days,
The reflections in the mirror brings memories alive,
The memories which beam me magically in the world of my choice.
A first few pages of my album are blank,
As a little kid I did not want to stand in front of a box with a man in black hood,
I did not want to be seen upside down in his view finder,
I was happier playing soccer somewhere else in the nearby play ground.
The b & w family portrait of me, my siblings and my parents is my prize possession,
It was a rare event when we all could gather and pose for a moment,
Now some are grown up, some have left our midst,
The glimpse of all of us together brings the emotions of close family ties.
As I turn the pages of my album,
I see happiness radiating from every picture,
May it be a smile of a family member or mine,
Or it may be the beauty of the nature smiling at me,
Every picture brings a memory flashback,
of the joys and emotions of important events in my life.
Next my eyes get glued on my personal family picture,
My wife radiating with her beautiful smile,
My kids little scared of the dark studio set,
Me grinning with smile of worth thousand words.
It is picture which remains in my heart and wallet,
It is a picture which brings joy, love and affection to me every minute.
I guess no one ever keeps the pictures of death and agony,
It is hard to see the cremation picture of departed love,
It seems as if my heart is turning into ashes,
The pain and agony of this scene is so much,
The book of album closes by itself.
I leave a rose and a lily near my album,
Rose shows our everlasting love,
The lily puts the aura of comfort and hope,
That one day her love will resurrect and meet my heart.

The Girl Who Tamed A Poets Heart
Those words which screamed out
From a heart into a silent world
Those passionate dreams once known
Of a love which seem to be a stranger
The lyrics and the verse which sang
To love, to a love they longed to find
All fell silent, all slept sound
She came from such silence
Full beauty body, heart and mind
Her words touched and soothed
The mind of a poet like never before
The wild tempest which once reigned
The heart and the imagination
Each word which built their world
Now spoke softly to a love they knew
Now whispered gently her name
She came as though called
To answer each prayer and wish
She took the heart in her hands
And cradled it in a kiss
She tamed its wild passion
And heard it sing anew
To the girl who tamed a poets heart
I shall forever love you

A Painter In You!
who has painted your picture in my thoughts,
without a brush, the paints and the pallet,
not even sketched using a pencil and a knife,
the picture is perfect with the colors mixed,
your smiling is great with a thin line at the edges,
your eyes are wide open, sprinkling the cheerful messages,
every time the happy visuals of you pop out in the mind,
I couldn't have drawn such a beautiful portrait,
of you in my heart, who has done this painting?
You are the one who posed and painted on your own,
you are a great painter who can paint your pictures,
on everyone's heart whom you know, love and respect.

Love Is True
When someone says they love you
Your world finally as a edge
When someone kisses you
Your world melts
When someone hugs you
You world is full
When someone breaks you
Your world is no more
When the world finds itself again
Your heart will miss a piece
When you fall
Your heart well be caught again
When your mind is overflowing
Your heart is catching it
Never say life has no point!
The world is round and can always change!

A reflective portrait
A reflective portrait
~
I’m a real piece of work
A Machiavellian self portrait
I could be the living abstract
Of my over complicated mind
While others try to work me out
Finding who or what I am
Beggars belief why they even try
I look away blindly into nothing
Trying to conjure some imagery
That I may weave in words
A poem of some or any worth
That’s what I do in my line of work
I crave emotions, explore them
I find sensations to abuse
I hurt myself to keep on living
I make little sense to anyone
Pride is complicated to understand
And comes at a high rate of interest
Interest I have little to share
Looking at my reflection, honestly
I’m a real piece of work
And yeah, I’m still me

My heart in the world
My heart cries
for change in the world
My heart bleeds
for peace in the world
My heart seeks
fullness in the world
My heart beats
for love in the world
My heart howls
for sanity in the world
My heart hopes
for greatness in the world
My heart fades
for hate in the world
My heart dies
for life in the world
My heart prays
for faith in the world
My heart crawls
for growth in the world
but the world
spills my heart like water held in its hand

A declaration of my love
A declaration of my love
~
It is to her laugh my heart smiles
Her playful nature my soul rejoices
She has more beauty than any portrait
She is ever growing and changing
Yet constant to my thoughts and love
My muse, sweet beauty cherish her name
Her eyes the warming tempest of desire
Hold me transfixed as the night
It is to her smile my heart sings
Her comforting touch I lay beside
What could be more beautiful I ask
Than who I love so entirely
That my heart, my love is sworn

Romentic Goddess
There I was day dreaming of romance
She came and blind folded me with a cloth
that was smelling a divine perfume
She grabbed me with her fluffy hand
I felt heaven on earth
She told me be quiet I shall treat like a king today
Ooh! Her hips were curvy that the edge of a cloth
She opened mt sight I saw a room filled with romance most of all with her love
I recalled her words 'today I want to treat you like a king'
She played that sweet harmonic melodies that made my heart to bond with hers heart to heart
She touched me I felt like I was in paradise were good touches are felt 24/7
She whispered I love you my head went round like a motor that keeps an object moving
She kissed me I felt my body forcing to come out of its skin
Woo that lady braked me down made me complete
I love her
She is the romantic goddess of my heart
I love you

You Walk In My Soul
When my eyes first saw you
A vision
My heart missed a beat
And I cried
I knew then I loved you
And I do
Now you are my reason for living
And now
You walk in my soul
You dance in my heart
You draw breath for me
Ill stand by your side
Ill kneel at your feet
Share my life with me
Ive waited years
Ive waited all my life for you
You are my world
All of my dreams and I need you
Ill love you forever
And a day
Ill love you till God comes and takes me away
You sing to my soul
You play with my heart
You breathe life for me
Ill always be yours
And Id die for you
Share my life with me
I cant believe
How much you mean to me, and so
Pick up a piece
A piece of my heart
And stay with me

Sad picture piece
The picture we took together
And put together piece by piece
All of us as a Group
With smiles on our faces we
Were laughing together
Creating what we thought
Was a big happy picture
Now in the future we look
At that big picture piece
And see a sad picture piece
Comparing it to today, most of us…
Dead, war reached us.
What use to be happy picture piece.
Turned to what it really was.
A sad picture piece we put together
As a Group.
Smiling, laughing, naive
Naïve of what the future
Could bring
Friends dying, revealing what they
Really did with there life
In the past, happy as can be
Together wishing for more
Seeing that picture now
Remembering all the thing’s I had
In the past, also with things I lost
Now you see a picture with lies
But also the truth
Both makes the group shot of friends
We put together
A big, but small sad picture piece.
