To A Gentleman
I hope, Sir, by this you have found your Account,
In visiting Airy, and seeing his Mount:
If Froth can delight you, you're wonderous happy;
And we know it gives Joy on a Bottle of Nappy.
Your Friend would be very much mended, in troth,
Should Airy bestow him a Dash of his Froth:
To keep up the Metaphor, 'twould make him mellow,
And of a sour Stoic, a pleasant young Fellow;
And Airy be recompens'd well for that Favour,
If your Friend, in Return, should make him grow graver.
This Exchange should they make, it would set 'em both right;
Since one is too solid, and t'other too light.

The Airy Christ
After reading Dr Rieu’s translation of St Mark’s Gospel.
Who is this that comes in splendour, coming from the blazing East?
This is he we had not thought of, this is he the airy Christ.
Airy, in an airy manner in an airy parkland walking,
Others take him by the hand, lead him, do the talking.
But the Form, the airy One, frowns an airy frown,
What they say he knows must be, but he looks aloofly down,
Looks aloofly at his feet, looks aloofly at his hands,
Knows they must, as prophets say, nailèd be to wooden bands.
As he knows the words he sings, that he sings so happily
Must be changed to working laws, yet sings he ceaselessly.
Those who truly hear the voice, the words, the happy song,
Never shall need working laws to keep from doing wrong.
Deaf men will pretend sometimes they hear the song, the words,
And make excuse to sin extremely; this will be absurd.
Heed it not. Whatever foolish men may do the song is cried
For those who hear, and the sweet singer does not care that he was crucified.
For he does not wish that men should love him more than anything
Because he died; he only wishes they would hear him sing.

Where The Waxwings Used To Dwell
Where the waxwings used to dwell,
Where the pine trees softly swayed,
A flock of airy momentwills
Flew around and flew away.
Where the pine trees softly whooshed
Where the warblewings sang out
A flock of airy momentwills
Flew around and flew about.
In wild and shadowy disarray
Among the ghosts of bygone days,
Wheeled and tintinnabulated.
A flock of airy momentwills
A flock of airy momentwills!
You're warblewingish and beguilish,
You besot my soul like strumming,
Like a wave invade my heart!
Go on, ringing warblewings,
Long live airy momentwills!

Hither, Hither
Hither, hither, from thy home,
Airy sprite, I bid thee come!
Born of roses, fed on dew,
Charms and potions canst thou brew?
Bring me here, with elfin speed,
The fragrant philter which I need.
Make it sweet and swift and strong,
Spirit, answer now my song!

Hither I come,
From my airy home,
Afar in the silver moon.
Take the magic spell,
And use it well,
Or its power will vanish soon!

I Have A Friend
I have a friend who cannot walk
I have a friend all he does is talk
I have a friend, Philippe is his name
I have a friend and we are just the same
I have a friend he’s seventeen years old
I have a friend who has a heart of gold
I have a friend who would catch me if I fall
It is only that he has no legs at all
I have a friend and when my friend was seven
A car ran over him and he almost went to heaven
I have a friend with a smile that I adore
I have a friend who lives in a house of four
I have a friend his family is his home
I have a friend who dreams of visiting Rome
I have a friend who is still finishing school
Yet some people tell him that for that he is a fool
I have a friend they say he is disabled
He has no legs and for that he is labeled
I have a friend who has a friend
They were made for each other; their love will never end
I have a friend who likes to name the stars
I have a friend and what he hates is cars
I have a friend who’s happier than you and me
I have a friend who’s shown me how happy I can be
I have a friend who’s had his bad times too
I have a friend who’s better than me and you
I have a friend so dear to me and kind
That another one like him I shall never find!

You're a Great Friend
When I have a bad day, I can go to you and
You make me feel better
You also put a smile on my face
I don't know what I will do without you here by my side
Thanks for being there
You're a great friend
When someone broke my heart, I can count on you to be there
You make me realized that there is something more important than him
I don't need him to make me happy
You're a great friend
When I have a problem, I know there is one person I can go to and is you
You help me get through it and not to hold back
You help me with so much
Thank you so much
You're a great friend
When I have a bad day, I can go to you and
You make me feel better
You put a smile on my face
I don't know what I will do without you here by my side
Thanks for being there
You're a great friend
When I need to talk to you about something, you are always there
You're a true friend
Everyone will want to be your friend because you're amazing person ever
I'm so happy to have you here with me
You're a great friend

In August
When August days are hot an' dry,
When burning copper is the sky,
I 'd rather fish than feast or fly
In airy realms serene and high.
I 'd take a suit not made for looks,
Some easily digested books,
Some flies, some lines, some bait, some hooks,
Then would I seek the bays and brooks.
I would eschew mine every task,
In Nature's smiles my soul should bask,
And I methinks no more could ask,
Except--perhaps--one little flask.
In case of accident, you know,
Or should the wind come on to blow,
Or I be chilled or capsized, so,
A flask would be the only go.
Then could I spend a happy time,--
A bit of sport, a bit of rhyme
(A bit of lemon, or of lime,
To make my bottle's contents prime).
When August days are hot an' dry,
I won't sit by an' sigh or die,
I 'll get my bottle (on the sly)
And go ahead, and fish, and lie!

What Can Make You Happy?
Are you happy right now or sad?
Are you bitter about your present condition?
You wonder what is wrong with your life
You wonder why others are happy
And question why some are so sad
Are happy people born that way?
Or happiness is a state of mind
What can make you happy?
Will having more money make you happy?
How much money do you need to make you happy?
If you are single and not happy!
Will having a new lover make you happy?
Will getting married make you happy?
If you are married, and not happy!
Will having more children make you happy?
Will sleeping with other people make you happy?
If you are a professional and not happy!
Will changing your profession make you happy?
What can make you happy?
Will getting drunk everyday make you happy?
Will taking a new drug make you happy?
Will buying a new car make you happy?
What can make you happy?
Will moving to a bigger house make you happy?
Will been promoted at work make you happy?
Will been the head of your organization
Make you happy
What can make you happy?
Always remember that what makes
You happy can make the others sad

Good & faithful friend
I was feeling sort of down and lonely,
I decided to reach out to an old and faithful friend
I walked into the family room
and put some mellow music on
I was then bacK
in stride once again
My old friend really knows
how to make me happy
What a true and special pal
The horn is really oh so snappy and
The keyboard's melodies simply has a smooth blend
My good friend music
Really lifted my spirit at just the right moment
When I really needed a friend
Now Iam happy, once again
Iam sincerely fortunate to
Have a friendship with music and
may our relationship never end

There's a lot of strength in the U.S., but there's a lot of froth also. The froth will blow off. We're going to have to face up to some realities that we're not fully facing up to right now.

Friends...
There are those amongst us, souls so devine,
They intoxicate our being like the finest of wine.
They help us soar up to such a wonderous height,
They are our shining beacon in the darkest of night.
These souls are the friends we make on our way,
They bring purpose and meaning to all of our days.
As we journey through life they walk by our side,
Through pain and heartache they are there to guide.
These are the sacrafices they gladly shall make,
But to be friend is not all about how to take.
To have a friend you must know how to be a friend,
Only then will your journey be fruitful until the end...
Spread the love... The peace will follow...

Wow What A Friend I Have Found
i travel around the world
looking for a true and faithful friend
but unfortunately for me i found none
i travel from country to country looking
for a trusting friend but found no such friend
i decided to visit all 196 countries in this
world and see if i can find a true friend
but it seems all the friends i found either
leave me with broken heart or make fun of me
i decided to be on my own
until you came along
wow what a great friend i have found!
This friend i have found won't make fun
of me neither live me with broken heart
wow this is the greatest moment of my life
i have found a true, faithful and trusting friend!
i have found the greatest friend ever
what a great friend i have found!

Tonight The Bottle Let Me Down
Tonight the bottle let me down
It let your memory come around
The one true friend I thought Id found
Tonight the bottle let me down
Ive always had a bottle I could turn to
And lately Ive been turnin every day
But the wine dont take effect the way it used to
And Im hurtin in old familiar ways
Tonight the bottle let me down
It let your memory come around
The one true friend I thought Id found
Tonight the bottle let me down
Each night I leave the bar room when its over
Not feeling any pain at closing time
But tonight your memory found me much too sober
I cant drink enough to keep you off my mind
Tonight the bottle let me down
It let your memory come around
The one true friend I thought Id found
Tonight the bottle let me down

Enamored Architect of Airy Rhyme
Enamored architect of airy rhyme,
Build as thou wilt, heed not what each man says:
Good souls, but innocent of dreamers' ways,
Will come, and marvel why thou wastest time;
Others, beholding how thy turrets climb
'Twixt theirs and heaven, will hate thee all thy days;
But most beware of those who come to praise.
O Wondersmith, O worker in sublime
And heaven-sent dreams, let art be all in all;
Build as thou wilt, unspoiled by praise or blame,
Build as thou wilt, and as thy light is given;
Then, if at last the airy structure fall,
Dissolve, and vanish -- take thyself no shame.
They fail, and they alone, who have not striven.

My Friend
'Til the end...
'Til the end...
Verse 1
My friend, Kelly's got a problem in her life
She's got a man who doesn't love her
And never treats her right
Now he hits her and he beats her
And nearly took her life
And now she's lying in a hospital bed
And all I can do is cry
Chorus
She was my friend
'Til the end
There's no-one better than her
She was always there
'Til the end
There was no need to apologise
She never did nothing
She was my friend
'Til the end
Verse 2
My friend, Jamie, he'd never had a fight
He was the sweetest kind of guy
He could always make me smile
Then he caught the street life
And he started selling drugs
Then they found him in a puddle
And it was no love
Chorus
He was my friend
'Til the end
There's no-one better than him
He was always there
'Til the end
There was no need to apologise
He never did nothing to me
He was my friend
'Til the end
Middle 8
You gotta love yourself
Hold youself
Squeeze yourself
Kiss yourself
And never let nobody
Else come disrespect yourself
Life is short and life is good
And life is sweet
But you never know
When life will come and pull you off your feet
You only get one chance
You gotta take it
If you believe in you
You're gonna make it
Whenever things go wrong
Now you can make it right
Don't ever let no-one
No-one control your life
Chorus
He was my friend
'Til the end
There's no-one better than him
He was always there
'Til the end
There was no need to apologise
She never did nothing to me
She was my friend
'Til the end
He was my friend
She was my friend
'Til the end
'Til the end
'Til the end

What is a Friend?
True friends will never let each other down
True friends will tell each other when they are right or wrong
True friends listen to their problems without casting judgment
True friends are never afraid to tell you like it is
A true friend knows when to say no
A true friend will never flop you
A true friend will be supportive of all you do
A true friend will be there to dry your weeping eyes
A true friend will lend a shoulder for you to cry on
A true friend cares how you are doing
A true friend cares about your day-to-day life
A true friend always calls and checks up on you
A true friend gives of himself/herself without asking for anything in return
A true friend would not lend you money but give you whatever they can
A true friend may argue, fuss, and fight with you but will always be there for you
A true friend forgives you for your shortcomings
A true friend will come to your aid no matter what time of day it is
A true friend doesn’t wait to hear from you to make the first call
A true friend just calls to chitchat with you
A true friend is like a Godsend in times of perils
A true friend is always welcoming
A true would give you the coat off their backs
A true friend knows enough is enough
A true friend will be by your side when you need them the most
A true friend will run an intercept or blockage for you
True friends will CYA for each other
True friends knows that this world wasn’t promised to us
True friends make the best of a bad situation
True friends keeps each others secretes
True friends keeps no secretes from one another
True friends share each other’s lives
A true friend is forever
Are you a true friend?
Ask yourself that question
Can you be a true friend?
Do you deserve a good friend?
There are no goodbyes in life, just hellos
Hello friend

Dont Ask A Friend
(olivia newton-john)
You say you want to know most everything about him
But babe, what youre saying is that you dont want to doubt him
If I told you all the truth you wouldnt want to see him anymore
But Im his friend as well and theres no way I can tell
Tales that will make you unsure
Dont ask a friend; dont make me tell a lie
Dont ask a friend to be your alibi
You know that I would like to help you patch it up again
Im your lonely hearts club friend
Dont ask a friend
Ive known him for so long to me hes like a brother
And if I needed help will I know thered be no other
But youre as close to me as any friend that I have ever known
Im caught up in between his devil and your dream
Please make your choice on your own
Dont ask a friend; dont make me tell a lie
Dont ask a friend to be your alibi
You know that I would like to help you patch it up again
Im your lonely hearts club friend
Dont ask a friend

Betrothal Pearls
Sudden gusts around me are frozen,
Septentrio is acerbic this odd year,
Assuming I am wind's well chosen,
I sense my destiny to adhere.
Angels from above send this winter,
October in North Ranges is lonely,
your icon in mind is an anointer,
as you descend airy and lovely.
Celestial you descend airy and lovely,
embracing me, ghost in the whirls
of the wind as snow flies solely,
to smile with betrothal pearls.

Not Lonely or Alone
Don't think you're alone
Nobody's alone in this world
If you don't have friends than God is watching you
God is watching you and protecting you everyday
God doesn't want you to feel lonely
He wants you to be happy
God might send a person who wants to be your friend to you
Why?
God knows that you're lonely and he never wants anybody to be lonely
So He sends a companion that will be by your side everyday
To make you happy, support you, and to share their kindess to you
If you think you're alone and feel lonely
Maybe I could help too
I always love to make people happy
If you don't have any friends, maybe I could be your friend
Don't think you're lonely
If you do... think about what God thinks and what I think
God and I never want anybody to think they're alone and feel lonely
I would like to be everybody's friend
Because I know everybody has good and bad
Even I do
I have friends who are mean to me
But I'm their friend
Because I know that they can't be happy without me
I'm sad when they are sad
Even if they're harsh
I'll be their friend
A friend always to look out for and support everyday
So don't think you're alone because you're not.
Little Friend
Manhunt to find your daughter
Buried underneath the water
Now they consult a psychic
Find how much I like it
And now I've found a little friend
It's too fast
This won't last
And to touch
Hurts too much
And now I've found a little friend
And now it's just you and me
Borrow one and we will make three
I say we steal one more
Just like we did once before
And now I thought I told her
That she won't get much older
And now I've found a little friend
And now it makes no difference
Cause I am not quite in yet
And now its on the table
Cause she's perfectly able
And now I've found a little friend
