VII Stanzas

I

What does it really matter?
Like snow in its patter...
If it's to light for heavy weather
If love melts away forever!

II

Motion a kiss...
At midnights asking!
Wouldn't the moon reminisce?
Her wane from the waxing...

III

In her magnetic—stubbiness
Her wilfulness of innocence
Ah, there's a cosmic pool of bliss...,
Something only I'll reminisce!

IV

He spoke of an eternal calm
He spoke of love and of hate
He held me amidst his gentle palm
A broken arrow—set, straight.

V

You require strong courage
But you needn't those tears
You cause wars in defence
But you needn't those fears.

VI

A bird flowers in a stem
That joy is for all gods men.
A fruit vine lavishly divine!
Sowing wisdom in the sublime!

VII

A thousand living torsos
Lick their limbless wounds.
Such are desert dunes...
Egyptian cotton, sheets.

If Only Flowers Spoke

if only flowers spoke
wouldn't each petal
flow as a precious tear
on our cheeks?

if only flowers spoke
won't we hang our heads
in shame for the savage act
in normal parlance, a rape?

if only flowers spoke
will we ever lay our hand
on them even to offer
to the dumb gods?

we go on
for flowers are silent
and so are gods
and we, insensitive!

The Master Spoke.

Why is the world here today?
The Master Spoke.
Why are we sinners, like sheep gone astray?
The Master Spoke.
Why all this toil, no comfort of Eden,
Since man didn't obey?
The Master Spoke.
Why work the dust of the ground, from whence we came,
And eat 'By the sweat of our brow? '
The Master Spoke.
Why do we, naturally,
Posess the desire to before,
God, want to worship and adore?
The Master Spoke.
Why is Jesus glorified,
And why, for sinners, did he die?
The Master Spoke.
Why shall God return again,
To take away Isreal, His bride?
Why me, a sinner, justified?
The Master Spoke.
Why will there be Revelations, wars,
And roomers of wars,
Nearing the End Times?
The Master Spoke.
Why is God an eternal Being,
But the world shall be no more?
The Master Spoke.
Why is it, that when a man speaks,
His words blow away
As kernals of grain,
And yet, when God speaks, his Word is as rock,
Forever to remain?
The Master Spoke -
'Heaven and Earth shall pass away,
But my words shall never pass away.'
Why do these things occur,
And as it were,
The penalty of sin man did not have to pay?
The Master Spoke -
'For God so loved the world,
That he gave his only Son,
That whoever believes in him
Shall not perish,
But have the gift of eternal life.
Why?
The Master Spoke.
'Go now! Help the needy,
And the weak!
Save hearts that are broken! '
Hurry, now!
The Master has Spoken.

This Kiss - Faith Hill

vs.1 I don't want another heartbreak,
I don't need another turn to cry, no.
I don't want to learn the hard way,
Baby hello, oh no, goodbye.
But you got me like a rocket,
Shooting straight across the sky.
(chorus)
It' s the way you love me,
It's a feeling like this.
It's centrifugal motion,
It's perpetual bliss.
It's that pivotal moment,
It's, ah, impossible.
This kiss, this kiss!
Unstoppable.
This kiss, this kiss!
vs.2 Cinderella said to Snow White,
'How does love get so off course?
All I wanted was a white knight,
With a good heart, soft touch, fast horse.
Ride me off into the sunset.
Baby I'm forever yours.'
(chorus)
It's the way you love me,
It's a feeling like this.
It's centrifugal motion,
It's perpetual bliss.
It's that pivotal moment,
It's, ah unthinkable.
This kiss, this kiss!
Unsinkable.
This kiss, this kiss!

You can kiss me in the moonlight,
On the rooftop under the sky, oh.
You can kiss me with the windows open,
While the rain comes pouring inside, oh.
Kiss me in sweet slow motion,
Let's let everything slide,
You got me floating,
You got me flying.
(chorus)
It's the way you love me,
It's a feeling like this.
It's centrifugal motion,
It's perpetual bliss.
It's that pivotal moment,
It's (ah) subliminal.
This kiss, this kiss!
It's criminal.
This kiss, this kiss!
It's the way you love me, baby,
It's the way you love me, darlin'.
(chorus)
It' s the way you love me,
It's a feeling like this.
It's centrifugal motion,
It's perpetual bliss.
It's that pivotal moment,
It's (ah) subliminal.
This kiss, this kiss!
It's criminal.
This kiss, this kiss!

Eat My Bliss

Eat my bliss, suck my kiss. Listen to me as i hiss. like a snake i creep up. I'm someone I'm only hoping you miss. Misperception, misdirection. Quite a pale complexion. Just eat my bliss, suck my kiss. Don't get pissed. No reason to be, don't you see. All is dead as the sea. Theirs no love in this barely beating heart. Pleasure is torn apart. Just eat my bliss, suck my kiss. No i will not reminisce. What was broken can not be fixed and i realize this. Being straight forward hurts you and I'm sorry but that's the end of it. I don't believe in second chances or dances. I'm not pretending, or defending. What was is gone. As the sun met the dawn. So just eat my bliss, suck my kiss. Miss priss, so stuck up with your self righteous bullsh*t. Just get over it. An impossibility, please treat it such. Its not asking much. Life is rough. No I'm not mr. tough guy. I'm just trying get by. So just eat my bliss, suck my kiss. Be honest receive hell for it. A rebel without reason. A false god preaching. A perplexing equation is which there no answer. Mysteries deep in the soul i keep. Searching to find what you seek. Until its found leave all my words unbound. Just eat my bliss, suck my kiss. Presumptuous it is. Assuming leaves emotions looming. Anger held right above my head. But its not getting in. Count to ten. Say you win. Put it to its end. Just eat my bliss, suck my mother f*cking kiss. Please just eat my bliss. All i want is happiness.

My Heart Burns and Melts

My heart burns and melts with a pain and sickness

unlike this world has seen

for the tears and cries and pain and hurt of loved ones

my heart burns and melts with the ugliness which paints this world

a gloomy gray for the greed, violence, hate, and prejudice

which plaques our world

my heart burns and melts for the tired, hungry, weak, and poor

for the wars that slaughters billions and families

that are torn apart by lust and greed and jealously and hate

my heart burns and melts with a passion as strong as incense

as we live our lives in sin and vain without a care in the world

for the world we live in is cold as ice and the world is dark as pitch

for my heart burns and melts with a passion of pain and sadness

as my heart burns and melts like ice

for my heart burns and melts for the sick and needy of the world

for the broken hearts out there who need healing

for my heart burns and melts with a passion as strong as love itself

in hoping that one day the world will a happier place

enriched in golden bliss of happiness and peace on earth

for my heart burns with a passion for a dream

that's as sweet as love itself in all its beauty

My flamingo in June

A love poem.

My flamingo in June:

My aching heart skips a beat,
And an endless moment blends with time,
Peculiar in itself does this seem to me
But thus this moment becomes mine.

This warm tingling sensation in the back of my mind
Something I've always searched for
But could never seem to find.
The way I see the world forever changed.
You may even find this funny, find this crazy, find this silly, find this strange.

But trust me none of you would say this if you've ever felt this way.
It's something that I crave now, every second, of every day.
And it's something I wouldn't trade for the world,
However new it feels to me.
It's something that used to be cliche,
Slightly astute, and cabaret.
It's just something that feels right you see.
No matter how much the irony.

The light seems to shine brighter upon this face,
Like a warm and gentle, light embrace.
It tears my soul to not be here,
I close my eyes and draw her near.
But try as I may it's not the same,
No matter how long I play the game.

So instead I wait and pine,
Over the one it took so long to find.
So instead I ponder the time,
And await patiently for a sign.
I sit back and reminisce,
And smile at my inner bliss.

The Assignation

Hear I the creaking gate unclose?
The gleaming latch uplifted?
No--'twas the wind that, whirring, rose,
Amidst the poplars drifted!
Adorn thyself, thou green leaf-bowering roof,
Destined the bright one's presence to receive,
For her, a shadowy palace-hall aloof
With holy night, thy boughs familiar weave.
And ye sweet flatteries of the delicate air,
Awake and sport her rosy cheek around,
When their light weight the tender feet shall bear,
When beauty comes to passion's trysting-ground.

Hush! what amidst the copses crept--
So swiftly by me now?
No-'twas the startled bird that swept
The light leaves of the bough!
Day, quench thy torch! come, ghostlike, from on high,
With thy loved silence, come, thou haunting Eve,
Broaden below thy web of purple dye,
Which lulled boughs mysterious round us weave.
For love's delight, enduring listeners none,
The froward witness of the light will flee;
Hesper alone, the rosy silent one,
Down-glancing may our sweet familiar be!

What murmur in the distance spoke,
And like a whisper died?
No--'twas the swan that gently broke
In rings the silver tide!
Soft to my ear there comes a music-flow;
In gleesome murmur glides the waterfall;
To zephyr's kiss the flowers are bending low;
Through life goes joy, exchanging joy with all.
Tempt to the touch the grapes--the blushing fruit, [15]
Voluptuous swelling from the leaves that bide;
And, drinking fever from my cheek, the mute
Air sleeps all liquid in the odor-tide!

Hark! through the alley hear I now
A footfall? Comes the maiden?
No,--'twas the fruit slid from the bough,
With its own richness laden!

Day's lustrous eyes grow heavy in sweet death,
And pale and paler wane his jocund hues,
The flowers too gentle for his glowing breath,
Ope their frank beauty to the twilight dews.
The bright face of the moon is still and lone,
Melts in vast masses the world silently;
Slides from each charm the slowly-loosening zone;
And round all beauty, veilless, roves the eye.

What yonder seems to glimmer?
Her white robe's glancing hues?
No,--'twas the column's shimmer
Athwart the darksome yews!

O, longing heart, no more delight-upbuoyed
Let the sweet airy image thee befool!
The arms that would embrace her clasp the void
This feverish breast no phantom-bliss can cool,
O, waft her here, the true, the living one!
Let but my hand her hand, the tender, feel--
The very shadow of her robe alone!--
So into life the idle dream shall steal!

As glide from heaven, when least we ween,
The rosy hours of bliss,
All gently came the maid, unseen:--
He waked beneath her kiss!

She needn’t be afraid

She needn’t be afraid to be herself with me
I love the way she is, I hope she does agree
To be herself with me, is all I ask of her
No matter how she feels, I still think she’s so dear

Will all do crazy things, somewhere along the line
But crazy things are good, we’re human after all
She needn’t be afraid, to be herself with me
I’ll stand beside her always to catch her should she fall

Reminisce

I can remember when
We had
We had it all
(reminisce on the love we had)
You and i
You and i
(reminisce on the love we had)
You know
You know we had it all
You and i
(reminisce on the love we had)
Chorus
Lets make the time tonight
While the feelings right
Reminisce on the love we had
Lets make the time tonight
While the feelings right
Reminisce on the love we had
Verse 1
I know that weve been here before
The candle light and you walking softly through my door
Come on in my sweet
How have you been?
Your so nice but tonight
Were gonna be more than just friends
I recall the days and ways of love we made
I still feel the heat when we shared each other
Dont you feel the magic
The mysterys in the air
Lets go down to lovers lane
With the love we shared
Chorus
Verse 2
I can see you standing there alone
Like an angel
Tryin to find his way home
I dont remember how we fell apart
Here we are again, come on
Right into my heart
I recall the days in ways of love we made
I still feel the heat when we shared each other
Dont you feel the magic
The mysterys in the air
Lets go down to lovers lane
With the love we shared
Chorus
Make the time tonight
The feelings oh so right
Reminisce on the love we had
Make the time tonight

The feelings oh so right
Reminisce on the love we had
Make the time tonight
Lets make the time tonight
Feelin is oh so right
Reminisce on the love we had
Make the time tonight
Lets make the time tonight
Feelin is oh so right
Reminisce on the love we had
Make the time tonight
Baby
Reminisce
I know we been here before
Some candle light and you walking softly through my door
Come on in my sweet
Tonight were gonna be more than friends
Fellings right my, my
Sweet baby, baby, baby
I can see you standing there like an angel
Oooh boy, oooh reminisce

Funeral Weather

Walking in the rain
Catching the raindrops
As we laughed in love
Was fun with you, gentle you

But now the dark clouds
Bringing storm and rain
Terrify me
Real funeral weather

As it is today
Pitter patter, pitter patter
The winds have howled and gone
Taking you along

I remember the day you went away
The sky cried tears
Day was dark as night
When the gods took you away

I was alone,
Alone, alone, alone
Crying in the rain
Funeral weather

Shannon

Love lasts forever, isn't that true
Shannon asked that once of me,
And with a smile on her face
I then spoke with no haste,
I said yes, and too her I did agree.
She was a child, but knew not of truth
And she wanted that story to be so true,
As sadly her own mother has been
With yet so many, many men,
So about love, Shannon had not one clue.
Though she read it in books, and heard it in stories
Maybe that's why Shannon was so confused,
As she always saw her mother
With yet again, a different lover,
So poor little Shanny the truth she never knew.

Love lasts forever, to me she cried
As she showed me a picture of another man,
Though the picture wasn't of me or her father
So she wept for the pain a little longer,
As she wished, her mother could just understand.
The church said marriage is forever, Shannon spoke
Not only for a second, or a minute, or just a day,
To her statements I nodded and I agreed
And I told her, to her words always do heed,
And then in my soul, for her I did pray.
As the day will come, when she will be a woman
And I hope not like her mother that she loves,
As all Shannon wants is too be loved forever
By one man and not one man after another,
As one love for her, will always be enough.

Love lasts forever, that's what the bible has said
As Shannon ran to me with a smile upon her face,
God, he will join two souls as one
And they will be forever from dusk until dawn.
And never, will they ever fall from Gods great grace.
I want just one man, to come into my life
That I will love with all my heart and soul,
The man who will always be at my side
Even though we might argue and fight,
But one, and I swear I will never let him go.
I will never use my man, Shannon then did swear
And never will I put anyone above him,
I also promise I will not be like my mother
As my man I will love only him and no other,
And all I ask from him, is his love to me send.

Love lasts forever, I do believe that now
As Shannon spoke with happiness in her mind,
She then slowly closed her eyes
Then I could see the tears as she cried,
As she wished, and prayed for that day in time.
She spoke with wisdom of age, when she spoke
About a forever together with your love,
She told me one day she would enjoy it all
And never will she let her love fall,
And never from her one love will she have enough.
Poor little Shannon, the sadness that she has seen
Not even allowed to know her real last name,
She was never given a father to love
Only different men, to know and then hug
Poor little Shannon I pray, that you’ll know his name.

Jesus Protects The Righteous

When demons caught me by my neck almost,
And tried to strangle me to death somehow,
The Lord rescued me from the very worst,
Because of my strong faith in Him and love!

The Holy Spirit spoke and guided me;
The timely wisdom came from Lord above;
The pertinent queries fell harmlessly;
With God’s help soon, I turned the tables now.

With God beside, no one can harm the least;
Success will come, no matter how things go;
’Tis God who wages war against the Beast;
Christ is the vine and each Christian, a bough!

The Father tends the garden with love, care;
The vine bears fruits aplenty; nev’r goes bare!

Momentous Memories And More...

Contained within my very soul
Lay memories of you.
In fact, they stay, beyond control,
Because my love is true...
I think of you and then a smile
Appears upon my face.
A kiss or two can quite beguile
And thus they leave their trace...
Pressed close we touched and lingered still,
Eyes closed, engrossed, held fast...
I prayed, that if it were God’s will,
Our love would always last.
No wonder, then, when we’re apart,
I reminisce again
And think myself, now hand-on-heart,
The luckiest of men...
If only life were one long kiss
Expressed with ecstasy...
Life would be heaven! Beauty! Bliss!
True love! Just you and me...

One Night Is Just Not Enough For Me(Revised In Line Form)

I'm just so scared today.
Taken in the moment.
Living a let down is so hard.
Give me another drink, on the rocks please.
Can you just talk to me.
Can you do it just do gently.
My wings have just been ripped right off of me.
And all that's left is a scar that reminds me.
I have been forever marked.
Sinner or saint it don't matter to me.
We all end up the same place anyways.
Love or hate doesn't matter to me.
It all means the same.
Feelings so strong just can't be wrong.
This is where I belong.
A sense of self satisfaction.
Again I'm overacting to something so small.
It means nothing.
Time to realize.
Signs are all in the mined.
Just justify it.
Make it right.
Turn off the lights and have a good time.
Under the candle light.

One night is just not enough for me.
I'm not stand in.
This can't be temporary.
Tomorrow please don't be gone.
Becoming one of the broken.
Just because you have been used doesn't mean you still can't be good. Their is always a place, a name, a face, forever forgotten in time.
But still I can't get you off of my mind.
Please don't say it's the last time, the last time.
Like a stray dog I lick my wounds, and walk away.
Sorry but it just can't be.
This way.
Its not okay.
Good, but not good enough.
Sometimes it's rough.
So you need to be tough.
A heart of stone to remind you that you are never truly alone.

A Christmas Together

We need not snow,
Or electrical glow.
It's not a matter of weather,
Because we're together.

We need not a 'magic',
Love's not in a gadget.
There's only one matter:
It's that we're together.

Need we the songs,
Or the movies that come on?
We've the best of what's better,
When we're together.

There's a look on our faces
That surely displaces
All the boxes and cases,
and the ribbon and laces.
It's the beauty of Together.

There's something about our time
That bears the fruit of the vine,
Making a sweeter wine.
The fingerprints of the Divine,
On the truth of Together.

When we've all gathered round,
And harken to the sound,
Of God's presence all around,
The perfect setting being found...
We're Together.

Sonnet – Amidst

Amidst pitch -black darkness, God shows a light;
Amidst a Forest thick, He shows a way;
Amidst black clouds, He brings a moonlit night;
Amidst sorrows, God gives a happy day.

Amidst the desert, Oasis God shows;
Amidst the stormy Sea, He brings calm;
Amidst much strife, He opens newer doors;
Amidst much hopelessness, a helping palm.

Amidst tempest, God shows a bright light-house;
Amidst the glaciers, much sought-after peak;
Amidst our solitude, He gives a spouse;
Amidst the ravines deep, the lost lamb meek.

Amidst the chaos, God ushers new hope,
Amidst the gloom, He gives the church a Pope.

The Jilted Lover To His Mother

You needn't pray for me, old lady, I don't want no one's prayer,
I'm fit and jolly as ever I was--you needn't think I care.
When I go whistling down the road, when the warm night is falling,
She needn't think I'm whistling her, it's another girl I'm calling.

If I pass her house a dozen times, or fifty times a day,
She needn't think I think of her, my work lies out that way.
If they should tell her I've grown thin (for that is what they've told me)
This cursed weather counts for that, and not the girl who sold me.

And if they say I'm off my feed I still can tip a can;
If I get drunk what's that to her? I am not her young man.
I know I've had a lucky let-off--she ain't no class, she ain't,
For all she looked like a bush o' roses and talked like a story book saint.

I never give a thought to her. Don't worry your old head,
I've quite forgot her pretty ways and the cruel things she said,
There's lots of other gals to be had as any chap can see,
So you cheer up, you've got no call to go and pray for me.
But all the same, if you want to pray, you'd best pray God take care of them,
For if I catch them two together, by hell! I'll swing for the pair of them.

Kaboom.

Kaboom!
When you hit the room.
Secretly knowing
Our juices will be flowing
So soon.
And your cheeks
Will be outglowing
The moon.
Kazam!
To your slaughter
I am your lamb.
We're making love
Long before we connect.
When your eyes kiss mine,
My heart is wrecked.
And the sounds
Of your breathing
Still pounds in my ears.
Such open tears
Of joy.
Kapow!
When we dance in the dark
It's like, wow!
As the heat of our skin
From the fire deep within
Results in frenzied kiss.
I carry you to roll
In unquenchable bliss.
Then a fanfare
From the soul,
Explodes
Into symphony.
After clinging embrace
You have taken all within from me.
And we float to Heaven
To die in eternal rapture.
Never our bodies to part.
Now we are one
We capture,
With a pounding heart,
True love's sweetest fruit.
Kaboom!
Our stars forever shoot.
Our flowers forever bloom.

Moonlight Sestina

While reading Li Po, I fall
Asleep, and dream of the moon
My body lies on white
Cool sheets, flooded in a pool
Of moonlight. Lost in a dream
I lie in light, floating.

Like a full moon floating
On waves, I feel the fall
And rise, the tide of these dream
Currents. Closer, the moon
Approaches to my pool
Of flesh, shining me white.

From the glare of waxing white,
Gauze curtains – breeze floating -
Shield this rippling pool,
Become a waterfall,
And break the mirror moon-
Light through wet prisms, I dream.

Is this Shechinah? my dream
Self asks. At once the cold white
Chills me to ice. The moon
Swells until it's a floating
City, waiting to fall -
Atlantis – in the pool.

I yearn to be that pool
Skin, transparent as dream.
Instead I fear the moon fall:
I cannot part the white
Sea of thighs, Still floating
Whole, I cry to the moon:

“I am not ready, Moon”
Silence shimmers my pool,
But brightness fades, Floating
Away. Then from the dream
I emerge, weeping white
Tears that shine like star-fall.

Li Po's moon plunge sank dream
Deep. Whirlpool of lunar white
Drowns us; floating, we fall.

A New Poetry

the words fly like fists
across my front lawn
as the day is long
i seek
from the cradle to my room
my mothers breast to her womb
the lap of the gods to the moon
i seek
we can leave too soon
we can leave too soon forever
forever
as our worlds collide
in a late-night show
it's a devastating loss
i know all too well
and i love you still
and i always will
from the bossom of my hometown
i seek you
we can leave too soon
we can leave too soon forever
forever
do you believe in love
do you believe in me
do you believe in a peace
i know i'll try
do you believe in love
do you believe in me
do you believe in a peace
i know i'll try
i know, i know
as the snow melts outside
as the snow melts within
it's so hard to let this go
'cause the snow is in my veins
as my words fly like fists
across my front lawn
as day is long
i know
we can leave too soon
we can leave too soon
do you believe in love
do you believe in love
do you believe in love
i know, i know
i know, i know
i know, i know
a new poetry
a newfound belief
a new poetry
a newfound belief
a new poetry
and i've known
i've known
