Memories

All the memories we made
The laughs we shared
The tears we cried
Now we are all left wondering why
We miss you so much and you haven’t been buried
I’m going to follow in your footsteps
Go to SDSU and get a journalism degree
Make a book of poems
And one day I’ll see you again
And maybe you can read them

Leaving Me

do you remember that day,
when you tried to say goodbye,
then you said you'll stay for me,
because I almost cried,
you gave me this smile,
not because your staying,
but because you'd be missed,
just the thought of you leaving,
it makes me want to cry,
thinking about the time we shared,
and the time passing by,
it'll hurt more when you do leave,
so why even bother?
we have shared laughs,
we've shared hours,
but I can't let it go,
I can't let you go,
I'll miss you too much,
and I'd hope you'd miss me,
just saying goodbye isn't enough,
we know eachother to well to let go,
so don't,
never let me go,
and never go from me.

i miss the kiss of sweet lips feelings
who loved me as much as i want
i miss the tears of eyes when i'm cried
and someone make me smile and naughty
i miss the rain when we are together
i miss the rain when we have dance
with u in nights when rain..
i miss the sky of clouds and thunder too
bcaz you embarrassed me soo..
i miss the touch your lovely fingers
i miss the touch of one big lover..

Follow Me

Will you follow me wherever I go
and run to catch my hand?
I will slow my footsteps gladly
and let you take command.

Will you catch me to your shoulder
and wipe away my tears?
I will stay quite still and listen
to the rapid breaths I hear.

Will you take me wherever you go
and keep me by your side?
I will never falter with my steps
for with you I can abide.

There will come a day for both of us
when time will play the thief.
We'll be left with our memories
of these pleasures, oh too brief.

So follow me and catch me
and take me wherever you travel.
For I want these memories to stay with me.
Without you they'll all unravel.

I Love You

Ohhhhh
(chorus)
All those pretty memories,
I know you can hear me now
For the record,
I love you, I love you
(repeat)
(vs.1)
When I found out that you were leaving me,
I coudnt sleep thinking about
All the things that weve been through
Now all that I want to do
Is tell you that i, (I)
Miss you...so much...
(you know I really really miss you...)
(chorus)
(vs.2)
Now that Im on my own
I know that in time Ill find somebody new
(wholl treat me better than you)
So Ill go all alone without you
But I still love you
You know Ill never live without you
(chorus)
I wish youd change your ways soon enough
So we can be together
You just dont understand good enough
But now all we have is memories...
(chorus)
Memories we shared
No one else could compare
Ohh, I miss you, I miss you
Oh I miss you
...of the way we used to be,
Oh, those pretty memories
Oh.......
I miss you...
I miss you...
Oh, I miss you...
Ohh...

The Night I Cried

The night i cried
You weren't anymore there
Tears were heavy
No one asked me to share.

The night i cried
I cried whole night
Thinking of u my love
tears didn't stop a while.

The night i cried
I didn't want to cry
But i cried all night
still didn't know why.

The night i cried
I didn't wipe out my tears
I let them flow away
With the pain i preserved for years.

The night i cried
I silently sang something
That made me miss you more
Even more than i ever did.

The night i cried
My eyes couldn't sleep
My mind was going on asking me
Why i went so deep....

They Used Up All My Tears

They used up all my tears

I cried for the mother that left me

I cried for the man who took her away

I cried for the brothers I couldn’t see

I cried for the family that abandoned me

I cried for the people that hurt me

I cried for those that were supposed to protect me

I cried for the family I lost

I cried for the family I needed

But when I went to cry those tears of happiness

There was nothing left

The tears had all gone

Most Of All

I see our stars tonight
Do you recall that light
Or do you ever think of me
And in your world somewhere
Do memories rip and tear
The ones that always keep you hanging on
To all that might have been
[Chorus1:]
And I love you now
And I hate you now
And I miss you most of all
All those times we laughed
The scars that you left
Still I miss you most of all
And by the water's side
The tall grass where we lied
The nights we cried ourselves to sleep
Most Septembers now
I break down somehow
Remembering all we said
And all those dreams we never got to see
[Chorus2:]
And I love you now
And I hate you now
And I miss you most of all
And did you ever find
The scar in your mind
Or do you miss me most of all
Are you somewhere
Without a care
Or are you as alone as I
Did you ever make it home
yeahea! Uhh huh!
And I miss you most of all
And I miss you now
And I miss you now, yeahea!
[Chorus2]

My Lovely Sister

Is solace anywhere more comforting than in the arms of a sister
I read somewhere and I think to myself how fate was so kind
The experience I have had in the years of my life untold and unsaid
But I would like her to know she is always on my mind

A sister is a little bit of childhood that can never be lost
For I will lose all the luxuries and tranquility of life in time
I will not lose the warming comfort in your aura that reminds me
That I may lose the hope and dreams but my sister will always be mine

What's the good of news if you haven't a sister to share it?
And I have shared it all, the faults and mistakes that I have done
But one thing that remains unshared is the special bond between us
There would be no one except you in my heart, there would be none

How do people make it through life without a sister?
I wonder the pain left inside, I have pain on the inside too
But they are soothed by your presence and heavenly light
For I have to get out of darkness, there is no place but you

In the cookies of life, sisters are the chocolate chips
You have added sweetness in my life that is unending and blissful
We have shared some arguments, some fists, and some laughs
We have live the life but I haven't shared the love that is the glue
Through these words I hope the feel reaches you and you would know
I love you my sister but but I did not show.

Is solace anywhere more comforting than in the arms of a sister
I read somewhere and I think to myself how fate was so kind
The experience I have had in the years of my life untold and unsaid
But I would like her to know she is always on my mind

Fed On Contradiction

If you've only read,
One of my poems...
And found it to be,
Contradictory.
You certainly haven't read,
'My' poems.
Most of them are...
Fed on contradiction.

You should read the ones,
Based on dysfunction.
They are the ones,
That are most normal.
And...
You might not find them,
To your liking at all!

Friendship

Every time I think of you, I start to miss you.
When I see you, my heart skips a beat.
All I have are the memories we shared.
How come it had to end between us?
We were perfect for each other.
What happened?
Sometimes I wonder....
Why did our friendship have to end, too?
I guess I shall never know.
Forever wondering.

The Dogs Of Drangonchester

The dogs of Dragonchester is a condo that sits by the Sea,
surounded by sand, tropical plants and palm trees.
Happy Dogs live at the Dragonchester for I have seen,
these dogs are special to their owners, they make them happy.
Inside this book is a collection of Dragonchester Dog poems,
you can read them at your leisure at night in your home.
Some poems might make you laugh, some poems might make you cry,
that is the observation of me the poet whose words I do scribe.
These poems you can pass along to your dear friends,
you can frame them if you like so you can read their words again.
Many wishes to the dog owners and a cheer to their pets,
many more stories to make into Dragonchester Dog poems still yet.

I've Cried My Eyes Out

I've cried my eyes out
Wondering why
I've thought of every reason
Why I dont deserve you
I've made reasons why no one should get close to me

I've cried my eyes out
Wishing we could be together
Wondering why we aren't
I've cried my eyes out
Wishing I could take back everything that I have done or said that has hurt you

I've cried my eyes out
Knowing that I have made your life a living hell
I've cried my eyes out knowing nothing
I do or say will ever get me closer to you

Tess's Typewriter.

That year they gave Tess
her first typewriter. She'd
not need to borrow her
brother's battered old piece
or write down her fragile
poems in her spiderlike
scrawl as her father called it.

The promise came while
she was getting her mind
together in that mental
asylum, after the mucky
love affair that went no
place and left her hanging
there, like one crucified
for all to see and most
to softly mutter and stare.

Get yourself mended girl,
Father said, and we'll buy
you your own typewriter,
so you can stab away on
the keys to your heart's
content and bring out
those poems of yours.

He never read her poems,
never read much apart
from the back page sport
or gawked at page 3 girls
with a tut tutting tongue.

That year she gazed out
of the wide barred window
of the asylum at the snow
on fields, at the seagulls
gathering and feeding behind
the faraway tractor as it
ploughed, at the grey
depressing sky, wondering
what it'd be like to not be,
wondering what the woman
with a cast in her eye, was
doing to herself in the toilets,
one night when she'd gone
in to pee unable to sleep.

The typewriter idea
and promise kind of got her
through the dark hours and
the ECT, and the following day
headaches and numbness.

After slitting her wrists (mildly,
a cry for help) she said on the
phone to her father, Come get
me out of this place, help me
get back together. Ok, he said,
Miss Humpty Dumpty, and he
put down the phone, and she
stood in the hall of the asylum
with the receiver in her hand,
the image of the typewriter
before her eyes, those poems
banging on the inside of her
head, new ones wanting to
get out, old ones left for dead.

Eternity - Dedicated to those we have lost

The time we spent together here.
Went by so very fast.
The laughs we had, the tears we shared.
The memories that last.

If I could have but one more day.
There's so much more I'd share.
I'd show you how much I love you.
But life can be unfair.

I look forward to when we'll meet again.
In a place much better than here.
But until that time, I'll see your face.
In the reflection of my tears.

I thank God for His gift He gave.
I look forward to the day.
When you will meet me at the gate.
Though I wish that you could stay.

Goodbye to you, I'll miss you so.
I know you're up above.
You have found peace and happiness.
In the place that's full of love.

You'll always be in my thoughts and dreams.
And forever in my heart.
Your life down here, it had to end.
So your eternity could start.

I thought, well I can do that. I couldn't be bothered writing a book review, because I'd have to read the book, I haven't got time to read a whole book for a fifty dollar write-up.

The Love You Shared Endures...

tis the knock on the door you've dreaded...
yet you know it all comes to this.
the weary lay down to sleep,
snow falls on rust colored leaves.
are you then left with old photographs,
the sound of a voice you dimly remember...
and memories that unfurl like chapters,
every time you turn off the light.
the tears you cried, for him, or for you?
he does not need your tears anymore.
he is not dead, but simply at peace...
the love he was he is,
the love you shared endures!

I read a book

I read a book
Not to enhance my looks

I read a book
Maybe to avoid being a crook

I read a book
Not just to learn how to cook

I read a book
To ascertain how to defend my rights
Not just to acquire knowledge
Reading a book I pledge,
Is one of the roads to the light

I read a book
To understand how a kings territory
Is defended with pieces such as the rook

I read a book
So there will be no questions asked
When I count correctly what you took

I read a book
So that I play not ignorant
Now on life I’ve a different outlook

I read a book
So if I come up with all the right answers
I will know for sure it is not merely a fluke

Memories

I have nothing but memories of you and I,
I once cried out for you, once shed blood for you,
It didn’t bother or cared enough for you to see how much I truly cared for you,
When I go to the mall I have memories of how we first met,
When I enter the movies I have memories of you and I hold hands and watching a movie,
When I go to a certain spot I have memories of how you and I first kissed,
But this is nothing but memories of you,
When I sit out in the cold,
I told myself I won’t fall for you,
Yet I did,
I have fallen,
Fallen for you,
Everywhere I go I have fond memories of you,
Memories that just won’t fade away,
Memories that can not be erased,
Memories I shall forever keep,
The memories of you will help me out,
Memories of you will teach me a lesson,
A lesson I won’t forget,
The memories that you and I once shared will forever be locked away.

And The Heavens Cried(Trail of Tears)

You could see the clouds
rolling across the sky
as the day started to rain
teardrops of blood across the land
lost in their visions of doubt
buried in their pain
white man had all the say
we were left to taciturn
as we watched everything burn
and the heavens cried
on the trail of tears

On some beaten shore
we watched the ships come in
one by one, our land wore thin
we could just watch with closed eyes
as the promises made were just lies
they said you don't belong here anymore
behind their mask, they wore a disguise
and the heavens cried
on the trail of tears

Blood spilled on our sacred ground
leaving a unwanted stain
where mighty warriors once made a stand
we never could walk hand in hand
when they lived by so much greed
we watched our people fall
thousands must bleed
still all we could do is try
and the heavens cried
on the trail of tears

Guided by the spirit wind
we held on to our pride
something they could'nt take away
as so many died
through our darkest years
and the heavens cried
on the trail of tears
