Move to the City
You pack your bags and you move to the city
There's somethin' missin' here at home
You fix your hair and you're lookin' real pretty
It's time to get it out on your own
You're always fightin' with your mama and your papa
Your family life is one big pain
When you

Tell Me Again
Tell me again papa,
Of how my life was taken, .
Tell me again papa of how reality was shaken.
Tell me again mama,
Of how my life ended.
Tell me again mama,
Of how my human instincts faded.
Tell me again papa,
Of how I took my true form.
tell me again papa,
About the blackness of the storm.
Tell me again mama,
Of how you teet sunk into my skin.
tell me again mama,
Of how I came to win.
Tell me again papa,
About the pain that gave me forever.
Tell me again pap,
Of how you made me so clever.
Tell me again mama,
Of all the time we have to share in our own empire.
tell me again mama,
Oh how I became a vampire.

Polly

Chord file
Polly wouldn't listen to her Mama,
Polly wouldn't listen to her Papa.
She tried to make the swinging city scene,
And now there's not a place that Polly hasn't been.
Polly, pretty pretty Pollyanna,
Pretty pretty Pollyanna,
Pretty Polly Garter
Oh, I think that pretty Polly should have stayed at home.
Pretty Polly, dressed as jolly as can be,
She's so darling, all the fellas do agree,
And half a million people can't be wrong,
Oh, I think that pretty Polly should have stayed at home.
Polly wrote a letter to her Mama,
Polly made confessions to her Papa.
Mummy's proud 'cause Polly's still in chains
She's happy now her baby's coming home again.
Pretty Polly, she learned that life is just a game,
She is sorry, she just had to break the chains.
And Mama knows, 'cause Mama was the same
Oh, she's happy now her baby's coming home again.
Polly, pretty pretty Pollyanna,
Pretty pretty pretty pretty Pollyanna,
Pretty Polly Garter
Oh, Polly, pretty pretty Pollyanna,
Pretty pretty pretty pretty Pollyanna,
Pretty Polly Garter
I think that pretty Polly should have stayed at home.

(hows the family)
(hows the family)
Mama, you tell me hows the family
And papa, tell me how things going by you
And little baby sister, I heard that you got married
And I heard that you had yourself a little baby girl, too
And heres some uncles and some cousins I know vaguely
And would you believe my old dog chelseas here, too
And would you believe nobody in this family
Wanted to keep her
And now that dogs more of a part of this family
Then I am, too
I dont come home much anymore
No-no-no I dont come home much anymore
Mama
And mama, I know how disappointed you are
And papa, I know that you feel the same way, too
And no-no-no-no-no I still havent got married
And no-no-no theres no grandson planned here for you
And by the way, daddy tell me hows the business
I understand that your stock shes growing very high
No, daddy, youre not a poor man anymore
And I hope youll realize that before you die
Because I dont come home much anymore
No-no-no-no-no I dont come home much no more
But daddy
And please-please-please-please-please
Come on lets not start this business again
I know how much you resent the life that I have
But one more time, I dont want the family business
Dont want to inherit it upon the day that you die
Really, daddy should have given it to my sister
You know elisabeth, you know elisabeth
She has a better head for those things than i
She lives practically around the corner
Thats really the kind of child you could be proud of
But papa, I know that this visits a mistake
Theres nothing here we have in common, except our name
And families that live out in the suburbs
Often make each other cry
And I dont think that Ill come home much anymore
No-no, I dont think Ill come home much again
Mama
Papa
Families
Often make each other cry
No, I dont think that Ill come home much anymore

Papa Was A Rollin' Stone
it was the third of september
that day I'll always remember, yes I will
'cause that was the day that my daddy died
never had a chance to see him, no
never heard nothing but bad things about him
mama, I'm depending on you to tell me the truth
mama just hung her head and said
chorus
"papa was a rollin' stone
wherever he laid his hat was his home
and when he died
all he left us was alone"
(repeat)
hey, mama, is it true what they say
that papa never worked aday in his life
some bad talk going around sayin'
papa had three outside children
and another wife
that ain't right
heard some talk about papa and his storefront
preachin'
talkin' about saving souls and all the time
leachin'
and dealing in dirt
stealin' in the name of the Lord
but mama she just said
chorus
say I heard my papa was a jack of all trades
is that what papa sent to an early grave?
folks say papa would beg, borrow or steal just
to pay his bills
hey, mama, folks say papa was never much in thinkin'
spent most of his time chasin' women and drinkin'
but mother, I'm depending on you
to tell me the truth
but my mama she just said

About Mama and Papa on Those Crucial Times...
the last day was crucial
it was excruciating,
i saw papa kicked mama
and mama fell down the
path
she was moving out from home
she could not take him anymore
everything was over
practically, , ,
the dogs barked
hating papa
they perhaps thought
he was a total stranger in
his own house
and they do not recognize
him as their
master anymore...
i walked away from home
on that crucial day
i did not want to know
what happened after
i heard papa died in
all pain
you told me that there was
that inevitable conclusion
that papa never loved mama
despite their five children
and 50 years...
i never believed you
i decided never to believe you
i believed that face in the mirror
half is papa's
the other half is mama's
how can there be two of them in me
if they never really loved each other?
they were sick and tired
those were the reasons
they forgot
that was the cause...

Mama
She is a mama of the twins,
who'll grow to be winners,
as she flew to deliver them,
in the land she was born,
She's a mama from the heart,
who knows home is sweet home,
who knows from mama she will be a mama,
As she picked the right time to be mama.
She's real, she's true,
She's cute, she's beatiful,
She is a mama and Immaculate
Yes Imma you are pretty

It Was You
when papa did not believe me
it was you who encouraged me
when i was down and was about to give up
it was you who was beside me
saying 'there are other options
there are other ways
life must move on! '
when the school considered me a hopeless case
you did not believe it
saying 'there are other better schools'
when i left home because the family was unbearable
it was you who said
'when you get tired searching for yourself
please come back'
it was you Mama
who made all things possible for me
it was you all the way
giving me air to breathe
space to move myself freely
it was you who gave me a sense of
home.
i am offering myself
as a prayer for you.

Papa-Oom-Mow-Mow
The Beach Boys
Frazier/White/Wilson, Jr./Harris
The last time we were up here
We did a song by another group of guys
We like very much
A real friendly group of guys
Called the Rivingtons
Their song is called "Papa-Oom-Mow-Mow"
A papa-oom-mow-mow
A papa-oom-mow-mow
A papa-oom-mow-mow
A papa-oom-mow-mow
Funniest sound I ever heard
(A papa-oom-mow-mow a papa-oom-mow-mow)
But I can't understand a single word
(A papa-oom-mow-mow a papa-oom-mow-mow)
Well if he's serious or if he's playin'
Woo my my it's all he's sayin
Papa-papa-hoooo
(A papa-oom-mow-mow a papa-oom-mow-mow)
Papa-papa-papa-hoooo
(A papa-oom-mow-mow a papa-oom-mow-mow)
Doot doot doot
(A papa-oom-mow-mow a papa-oom-mow-mow)
Doot doot doot
(A papa-oom-mow-mow a papa-oom-mow-mow)
Well say there pop, say what's your name?
(A papa-oom-mow-mow a papa-oom-mow-mow)
Well don't you come around and show your face
(A papa-oom-mow-mow a papa-oom-mow-mow)
But hearing the sound I can't figure it out
Oo-wee this sound makes me stop and shout
Papa-papa-hoooo
(A papa-oom-mow-mow a papa-oom-mow-mow)
Papa-papa-papa-hoooo
(A papa-oom-mow-mow a papa-oom-mow-mow)
Doot doot doot
(A papa-oom-mow-mow a papa-oom-mow-mow)
Doot doot doot
(A papa-oom-mow-mow a papa-oom-mow-mow)
Doot doot doot
Doot doot doot

Doot doot doot
(A papa-oom-mow-mow a papa-oom-mow-mow)

Well I hear this sound everywhere I go
(A papa-oom-mow-mow a papa-oom-mow-mow)
From the record, TV, or the radio
(A papa-oom-mow-mow a papa-oom-mow-mow)
But now it's spreadin' all through the land
I still can't seem to understand
Papa-papa-hoooo
(A papa-oom-mow-mow a papa-oom-mow-mow)

Rain
Well I wope up one morning
Seen my baby fly away
Sugar dont go
She said I dont be treatin her
Right by the things I say
Sugar dont go
Dont go, I feel Ill be left alone
And Ill cry
Oh in the rain
Early one morning I packed her bags
She said she gotta leave me now
Ive done her wrong
I said baby Im gonna change
Gonna change for the better
Sugar dont go
You cant be leaving me so alone
And Ill cry in the rain
In the rain
Oh in the rain
In the rain
Sugar go
Now sugar go you leave me alone
As you packed your bags
Youve got your plane on the road
I said oh whyd you leave
Oh whyd you leave
You gotta leave me alone
Im feeling sad
Im feeling sad
You gotta back off
Baby you treat me
Baby you treat me
My life and I could take my time
I lose it
What I have
Is what I have
Is what I give to you
And I feel Im gone
Ive been crying
What you gonna do
Who you gonna see
Where you gonna pack your bags
And where you gonna stay
Say where you gonna go
Who you gonna ho
Where you gonna lay your hat today
I said what you gotta change what you gonna do
Where you gonna lay your mines down
What you gonna do
What you gonna take
Where you gonna go baby
Who you gonna
Stay with me again
I said move it on
Oh I said move it on
I said move it on
Oh wont you move it on down the line
Well on down the line
I said pack your bags now baby
You gotta move it on down the line
I said I wanna tell you
Say, what you gonna do
Who you gonna stay
Where you gonna ho your ass out all over town
Baby, where you gonna go
Who you gonna see
What you gonna do with your time
I said what you gonna do
Who you gonna take
Where you gonna lay your hat down
Where you gonna call your home
Where you gonna go
Who you gonna see
What you gonna do with your time
I said move it on
Oh wont you move it on
I said move it on
Hey you gotta move it on down the line
Well on down the line
I said move it on down
I said move it on down
Said what you gonna do
Where you gonna stay
Who you gonna ho your ass out
Baby where you lay your hat today

Who you gonna see
Where you gonna go and spend your time to be
Baby,
What you gonna do
Who you gonna see
Where you gonna go
When I set you free
I said move it on
Oh wont you move it on
Hey move it on
Oh wont you move it on down
On down the line
Oh baby, I said baby

Angelene
Angelene, she's such a pretty thing
All dolled up in her hip-huggin' jeans
Mama's heels and her ruby red rouge
Sneakin' out while her daddy's
passed out
Hangin' out with the wrong crowed
She's got all the right moves
And she's givin' away little pieces of
her innocence
She don't know what she's lookin' for
She just knows something's missin'
:Chorus:
Oh, Angelene, can't you see
What you need ain't what you're
gettin'
Oh, Angelene, you're bein' used
Save some of that love for you,
Angelene
Angelene is sure that he's the cure
He's got a kind of reckless allure
Like a fast ride on the wild side
So she turns her cheek when he's
havin' a mean streak
And if you ask her real sweet
She won't look you in the eye
And she's callin' it love, ah, but there
is no resemblance
It's a drive down a dead end street
on the past of most resistance
:Repeat Chorus:
Yeah, she's givin' away little pieces of
her innocence
She don't know what she's lookin' for
She just knows something's missin'
:Repeat Chorus:

Broken Freedom Song
Got a song about a soldier,
Ridin somewhere on a train
Empty sleeve pinned to his shoulder
And some pills to ease the pain
Started drinkin in el paso,
He was drunk in san antone,
Tellin strangers who were sleepin
How he hated goin home
Just a simple song of freedom,
He was never fightin for,
No ones listenin when you need em,
Aint no fun to sing that song no more.
Got a song about a sister,
Waitin somewhere by the phone,
For some man who never missed her,
Ever since he come and gone
And its harder for a woman,
With a baby on the way,
Thats the price of bein human,
When youre poor enough to pay,
So she listens to the freedom,
In the silence at her door
No ones missin till you need em
Aint no fun to sing that song no more
Got a song about a savior,
Lookin lonesome and afraid,
At a city full of strangers,
And a cross he never made
And hes sadder than hes wiser,
And a longer way from home,
And he wonders why his father,
Left him bleeding and alone.
Just a broken song of freedom,
And the closing of a door,
No ones missin till you need em
Aint no fun to sing that song no more.

Kyrie, mass in c. k 427, Mozart
Papa is dead.
He is following mama.
His coffin is white
And shiny
Very much like
That of mama
In kyrie
The soprano
Sings for papa
In the church
For his last
Day today.
All seems to be white.
Pure, o they were
Purely in love
When they were
Alive, they always
Quarrel, papa kicks
Mama and mama
Bites him in return
They seem not to
Endure each other’s
Presence and each
Would want to
Kill each other.
Mama died first
And papa takes
Her picture and
Keeps it in his
Pocket and he
(mind you)
cries all night
papa loved mama
mama loved papa
after all.
Listen to the song
Of kyrie
Amadeus Mozart
A hymn for the
Dead who cannot endure
Each other when
They were once alive.
Until now, it is something
That I cannot understand.
I listen to kyrie
The soprano taking us to the tip of the mountain
Her human voice
Topping my puzzlement of it all
Why in death, why after death,
We realize the person that we miss
When he is gone, we say we love him most.
Papa loved mama after all
We loved papa after all.

You've Been Booted So Scoot
Mismatchd mates fight.
In arguments..
Over who did what wrong.
Inspite of who is right.
And which one makes more sense...
To convince the one incensed!
Both are stubborn infidels,
Yelling to end a relationship...
That has been sitting precariously,
On a dubious fence.
While anyone listening in on this,
Wishes they both shut up.
And seal their lips.
Instead of making loud noises.
And breaking up stuff in fits.
Anyone listening to this nonsense sits down.
Or creeps to the wall without making a sound.
To hear very carefully...
With hopes the floor doesn't creek.
As they tip toe around...
To get their ears close as possible,
To what is near...
And going down!
'I saw you cheating on me,
With that home wrecker living across the street.
If you believe that sleaze is better...
You can get up from here and leave.'
~You aint my momma or my poppa.
Stop trying to control everything I do.
I'm not the one pleasured in midnight specials.
The dogs and cats know that rat is you! ~
*ooo...ssshhh.
This is juicy.*
~You don't have the authority,
To tell me what I can't do.
I will do what I please!
Your booty aint that good to screw! ~
*Lawd!
Now YOU know...
When the booty aint right,
That starts a fight.
ooo...this is juicy*
~If anyone here is going to get up and leave...
You're the one that's going to do it.
And if you don't,
I'll call the police.
And when they arrive...
I'll lie to say you've been hitting on me.~
*Lie-uh! *
~Pack your bags!
I've had it.
Pack your bags!
I've had it.
Pack your bags!
I've had it.
You've been booted,
So scoot.
Pack.
Your.
Bags...
I've had it.
Pack your bags!
I've had it.
Pack your bags!
I've had it.
You've been booted,
So scoot.
There is nothing to revisit.
And there is nothing to renew.
So pack.
Your.
Bags...
I've had it.
Pack your bags!
I've had it.
Pack your bags!
I've had it.
You've been booted,
So scoot.
There is nothing to revisit.
And there is nothing to renew.
You and and I are finished...
And that door you're going through!
So pack.
Your.
Bags...
I've had it.
Pack your bags!
I've had it.
Pack your bags!
I've had it.
You've been booted,
So scoot!
You don't have to bother,
To put on your shoes.
Just pack your bags.
I've had it.
Get up and get out.
You've been booted,
So scoot! ~
*Don't you dare!
I wont get this excitement anywhere.*
**Horace...
Will you come from over there,
And sit down!
You are worse than you say,
My nosy friends are! **
*Sssshhh...*

Clothes Line
After a while we took in the clothes,
Nobody said very much.
Just some old wild shirts and a couple pairs of pants
Which nobody really wanted to touch.
Mama come in and picked up a book
An papa asked her what it was.
Someone else asked, what do you care?
Papa said, well, just because.
Then they started to take back their clothes,
Hang em on the line.
It was january the thirtieth
And everybody was feelin fine.
The next day everybody got up
Seein if the clothes were dry.
The dogs were barking, a neighbor passed,
Mama, of course, she said, hi!
Have you heard the news? he said, with a grin,
The vice-presidents gone mad!
Where? downtown. when? last night.
Hmm, say, thats too bad!
Well, theres nothin we can do about it, said the neighbor,
Its just somethin were gonna have to forget.
Yes, I guess so, said ma,
Then she asked me if the clothes was still wet.
I reached up, touched my shirt,
And the neighbor said, are those clothes yours?
I said, some of em, not all of em.
He said, ya always help out around here with the chores?
I said, sometime, not all the time.
Then my neighbor, he blew his nose
Just as papa yelled outside,
Mama wants you t come back in the house and bring them clothes.
Well, I just do what Im told,
So, I did it, of course.
I went back in the house and mama met me
And then I shut all the doors.
