The Libyans
Libyans demanding Gadhafi's ouster rallied to show their honest solidarity
With the people of the besieged capital marching without any coercive command
Under a hail of bullets, while the government moved to tighten its grip on Tripoli.
Gadhafi's troops attacked an air base that had fallen into the rebellion's hand.
Foreign mercenaries and Libyan militiamen loyal to Gadhafi had fought
To roll back the uprising against his rule, attacking two nearby great cities,
But rebels made new gains, seizing another military air base and Gadhafi have thought
That Osama bin Laden must be blamed for these upheavals and adversities.
The government had detained some activists to stop the demostrators to go on,
Seif al-Islam Gadhafi had warned the protesters of risk to ignite a civil war,
The speech was followed by a crackdown of Benghazi security forces, who fired on
Manifestants and marchers because they couldn't accept that situation any more.
The protesters throwing firebombs and stones had gotten on bulldozers and tried
To storm a presidential compound in order to achieve their fighting goal,
The attempt was repulsed by the armed forces in the compound which fired
On attackers and solders killing them, but at least the rebels have taken control.
The rebels have taken control of nearly the entire eastern half of the country,
As well as the cities close to Gadhafi's stronghold in the Tripoli capital.
Protesters have broken the clampdown pro-Gadhafi militiamen imposed on Tripoli
And the gunmen roaming the street, shooting people on sight, have been very brutal.
The U.N. Security Council met to consider some possible sanctions against Gadhafi's
Regime, including an arms embargo and another important trade sanction.
France considered that the violence of pro-Gadhafi forces must be punished
And Libya's 11-member Arab League mission also announced its resignation.

All in the name of modern arms and the show of power!

Gadhafi, debtless lion!
Like a lion, roaring, animals shudder
An empire so vast, swimming in riches.
Dreamland, father of a United Africa
Me told, Libya had no Western debt, in Africa!
Riotous, countrymen, cause, he overstayed, he had sinned
To culvert hole, him, they followed.
Ululations, Celebrations, rocked
Bloody mass, mute flesh, Gadhafi reduced by lead.
To second lion, whose reign shall be
No Western debt, let Libya be!

No More Despot Dictators Mar 7th,2011
Are there more Arab dictators dressing up for their new jobs?
Just waiting around for the dispersal of the riotous mobs,
Fitting on their new army general’s uniform quite bold,
With chests full of ribbons and peaked caps weighed down with gold.
They have to wait a while till revolutionary things calm down,
And maybe then dress up like Gadhafi in a fancy gown,
By then these revolutionary guys will slow down and change,
It will be okay then to be a despot and rearrange.
And these Arabs have never had a constitution yet,
Now is a good and maybe only time to write one, you bet,
Get a copy of the Swiss Constitution and do it soon,
Before the next dictator can organize his own goons.

The Apparation
I saw a man kneeling beside the dead body Gadhafi
with a smirk on his face holding thumbs up… eleven
months later he was slain just like the tyrant….
He became an envoy a friend of the wrecked country,
a buddy working to make the country a rational state
the US way; a client state to help oil flow freely to
the west. But he forgot, as many do, the infamy Arabs
has suffered in the hands of the west… even if people
were glad a tyrant was gone they still found the picture
offensive. For they see the inequity of the selective way
the west pushes democracy on the weak.
A ghost looms, a cuckoo in the nest, it will not give up
until it has full power of the defeated and we blindly
follow this cuckoo´s call into the abyss.

Anarchists
The leaders of this country,
Think were the ones that do wrong,
They take control of the power,
and steal this land of forgotten freedom
Its not the people afraid of the government,
Its the government afraid of the people
They call the ones dressed in black,
The evil ones but we fight back,
We've got hackers, we've got protesters,
we let no man left behind
Its not the people afraid of the government,
Its the government afraid of the people
The unions dressed in black,
With their flag raised up high,
Don't take no for an answer,
As the forces stain the streets with blood
Its not the people afraid of the government,
Its the government afraid of the people
We fight for the people,
Our obligation is good as gold,
And though we fight with arms of steel,
we don't let death go in vein
Its not the people afraid of the government,
Its the government afraid of the people

If I Resign Today There Will Be Chaos
It was February the 3rd 2011 when
Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak
made his famous scare fear prediction
'If I Resign Today There Will Be Chaos'.
Mubarak claimed he was sincerely troubled?
By violence the world had seen in Liberation
Tahrir Square over preceding days he claimed
his government was innocent not responsible?
Mubarak blamed the Muslim Brotherhood
a banned political party persecuted in Egypt.
But Mubarak supporters violence launched
against anti-government protesters innocent.
Mubarak claimed he 'was very unhappy about
yesterday. [stating] I do not want to see Egyptians
fighting each other.' Mubarak had hoped to rout
humiliate publicly defeat opponent protesters.
When asked what he thought seeing the people
shouting insults about him and wanting him gone
Mubarak said, 'I don't care what people say about
me... I care about my country, I care about Egypt.'
Mubarak claimed he wanted to resign but could not
'for Fear of the Country Falling into Chaos.' Egypt
will sink into chaos if I resign there will be chaos at
least eight people had died hundreds were injured in
violent clashes between his supporters and anti-
government protesters since Wednesday that is chaos
pride comes before a fall was Mubarak the leader
really unfazed by insults being hurled at him by
protesters demanding his immediate resignation?
According to quotes he wavered when asked about
his attitude toward his main ally the US which had been
pushing for him to resign because Washington gives
Egypt about $1.5 billion in mostly military aid annually
in a statement like Gaddafi would soon make he said
'You don't understand the Egyptian culture and what
would happen if I step down now' Mubarak said he told
US President Barack Obama while reportedly he remained
guarded in Cairo in the presidential palace with his family
heavily guarded by troops tanks barbed wire in safety?
Egypt's largest protests in a generation were clearly
demanding democratic economic reforms immediately
while analysts were estimating the Mubarak family net
worth ranged from $40 billion to $70 billion a calculation
not based upon the billions Egyptian protests were costing.
Chaos might happen? Chaos was already business costing.
One man's chaos is another man's democracy celebration.
Several months on Mubarak is gone? There is no chaos.
Democracy in Egypt will prove to be an Egyptian vision.

On An Army Of Rebelling Mercenaries (Rondel) (In Answer To A.E. Housman)
Those rebels wanting heaven to be falling,
who before Michael and his forces fled;
had a demonic, destructive calling
and by there wages are worse than dead;
on earth their actions are still appalling
as they only bring some sorrow and dread.
Those rebels wanting heaven to be falling
who before Michael and his forces fled,
are trying almost everything to be stalling
as their corruption and evil they spread;
the high heaven they are still recalling
as to utter destruction they do head;
those rebels wanting heaven to be falling.

I Am Afraid I Have To Say It Is Too Hot Too Here
Fighting between Islamic rebels and Philippine troops intensified Sunday, dimming hopes of renewed peace talks with the southern separatists, government and military officials
(ADVERTISEMENT: COCA COLA)
More than 100 Muslim fighters have been killed in four days of clashes with the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) on Mindanao island, said military spokesman Colonel Julieto Ando.
About 90,000 people have been displaced by the upsurge in fighting, according to local and foreign relief agencies operating in the region where government troops have battled insurgents for 40 years.
(ADVERTISEMENT: Britney Spears singing)
'Fighting intensified overnight with battles raging near the towns of Datu Saudi Ampatuan and Datu Piang, all in Maguindanao province, ' said Ando, who blamed recent rebels attacks for the deteriorating situation.
'We have done our best to embrace peace, but the MILF started the hostilities by pillaging villages and murdering innocent civilians in Mindanao, ' Ando said.
(ADVERTISEMENT: m & m chocolates)
'Now we are implementing the full force of the law and we will arrest those responsible for the traitorous attacks against civilians.'
The National Disaster Coordinating Council (NDCC) said Sunday that more than 240,000 people have been displaced since the fighting began two weeks ago.
The NDCC put the number killed in two weeks at 50, conflicting with military figures.
Glenn Rabonza, NDCC executive officer, said nearly 100 evacuation centres have been set up across the affected areas in Mindanao.

Hot, hotter and now bombastic, (this is not a poem)
The Philippine government on Sunday (24 Aug) rejected a call by Muslim guerrillas for a halt in a massive air and ground assault, and instead intensified the four-day attack, capturing a rebel training camp in a southern province, officials said.
Moro Islamic Liberation Front Chairman Al Haj Murad urged the government in a rare news conference Saturday to stop the offensive, warning it could imperil a years long peace process and escalate violence in the country's troubled south.
About 6,000 troops and police commando forces, backed by artillery and bomber aircraft, have attacked guerrilla positions to capture a rebel commander who occupied and looted Christian farming communities in North Cotabato province. Two other commanders are also being hunted who led a rampage last week in which 37 people were shot or hacked to death in Lanao del Norte province.
'There will be no let up in government offensives, ' Press Secretary Jesus Dureza said.
He said government forces would 'enforce the law' if Murad does not turn over the three commanders for justice. Murad has refused to do so.
After four days of air and artillery strikes and attacks by army rangers, rebel resistance has softened, allowing troops to capture a guerrilla training camp in Maguindanao's Mamasapano township, said Army Col. Marlou Salazar, who was overseeing the offensive.
Troops were checking the camp, which has obstacle courses, assembly areas and small buildings for combat training, for possible booby traps and land mines, he said.
'They're scampering and leaving only token forces to delay our advance, ' Salazar told The Associated Press by telephone.
At least 27 guerrillas have been killed and 21 others wounded in three Maguindanao townships where Salazar's army brigade was pressing its assault against the forces of rebel commander Ameril Umbra Kato. Military and police were continuing a manhunt in nearby Lanao del Norte province for commanders Abdullah Macapaar, also known as Bravo, and Aleem Sulaiman Pangalian.
The National Disaster Coordinating Council reported that at least 40 civilians have been killed and 240,000 displaced by the rebel attacks and the fighting.
'The number keeps growing, ' Social Welfare Secretary Esperanza Cabral told the AP. 'There is fighting that erupts in new places almost every day so more and more are being displaced. So we are hoping that there can be a peaceful resolution very quickly.'
Cabral said the World Food Program has increased its emergency rice supplies for refugees from 400 tons last week to 900 tons.
Murad said government troops were attacking the main rebel forces and not only pursuing the three commanders.
The rebels, who have been fighting for Muslim self-rule in the predominantly Roman Catholic nation's south for decades, said they regretted a recent upsurge in violence and that the commanders responsible had acted on their own. Murad said peace talks should resume, but refused to turn over the commanders to face the criminal justice system.
'We cannot subject our members to the laws of the government, ' Murad said. 'We are a revolutionary force.'
Just weeks ago, a peace deal to end the decades-long insurgency had seemed within reach after government and rebel negotiators initialed an agreement on an expanded Muslim autonomous region.
But Christian politicians in areas that would be affected challenged the deal in the Supreme Court, triggering the attacks by frustrated rebels.

Defying A Protest Response Egyptian Curfew
Mubarak called for stability
but this late political appeal
appeared to cut rigid little no ice
with inflamed reform protesters
who surged onto Egyptian streets
immediately as Mubarak finished
speaking defying a protest response
curfew as other hard line protesters
who had earlier been pressure forced
into nearby side streets by military
could be heard chanting 'People
want to change the regime'
immediately after Mubarak's
broadcast to the nation finished
daring defiance foretells regime end

Protests across Yemen
Protests spread across Yemen on Wednesday
Demanding an end to the president
Policemen fired in the air then forced their way
To disperse the crowd of the people present.
A foreign plot led the Arab world in chaos,
One thousand people marched on the Sanaa street
Some consecutive days protesting with pathos
Ali Abdullah Saleh trying to defeat.
President Ali Abdullah Saleh
Against al Qaeda had been allied with US
But he has began to smoke his nargileh
When he heard 'down with the president's thugs.'
Lawyers, students, and activists together
Marched chanting slogans against President
From Sanaa University toward the city center
And they held their truths to be self-evident.
Riot police blocked the main road of the city
And clashed with protesters throwing stones.
The government supporters with no pity
Staged a counter-demonstration in those zones.
It's about al-Qaida and counterterrorism
And spoke on condition of anonymity
Some tribal leaders with their power as mesmerism
Because it was a subject having sensitivity.
Yemen, a Middle East country having eucalypt
And grievances like corruption and poverty,
Felt aftershocks of pro-reform uprisings in Egypt
While it was trying to grind its tribal complexity.
This country staid in contrast to the Jordan wealth
Even Bahrain people protested for economic justice
With tea and kabobs they protected their health
While they were putting pressure on king to make changes.
Hundreds of Bedouin men blocked roads to demand
Government all they should have, a job and a house,
Moreover, to return their once owned land
For that they waved flags, chanted and erected banners.
