Words slipped
From memories
Searching a lost dream,
That unrepeatable dream.
The grief was coiled inward,
Poisoning our love.
It was a dance,
A last waltz.
Our souls, still entwined,
Tried to keep our bodies
Alive.
Our clay
Erratically moved,
In searching help.
A crying arose
Between us.
It was like
The sonority
Of crushing everything.
I was only a woman,
I understood everything.
You were my man,
But there was nothing
Between us
Anymore.
The unsaid words
Pricked my tongue and palate,
Remaining shackled inside.
You looked at me.
In your eyes
I tried to see again
Our November,
But
I did not see anything,
Maybe I could not see,
Maybe you were opaque.
I did not actually know.
I know nothing even now,
As I did not know
Even then,
I only knew that I must leave.
They told me to do this.
They had the power.

Jailbird (Grounded for Life)
Looking out through the clouds
From behind these eyes
Memories come rushing up to greet me now
And I hear the words
Breathing fears on these ears
Hard to think I was once free as a bird
But then I dream that wonderful dream
You know the one
Where you’re flying so close to the sun
And it all feels so real and warm
I streamed on fire above this storm
Searching infinity within me to find
A lost home

Im a drifter who has lost his way
And Im still searching for my dream
A wandering nomad with no home to stay
Just like a gypsy or a refugee
Lookin at another sign for another town

I Had A Dream
I had a dream
As though it seemed
Just the other day,
And you were there
Just like my prayer
Answering the words I prayed.
You took my hand
You helped me stand
And I rose to meet your eyes,
And as I stood
The way a man should
You were gone, and I knew not why.
I looked around
You couldnt be found
Then for you I cried as I spoke
“Why did you leave”

But you didnt, so I awoke.

I’ve got a secret.

Dreamy Feelings Again
It was just a dream I had,
that the woman wanted me back,
- - - once again,
It was just a dream that I was going with,
- - - to aleviate the pain.
It was a happy dream for me,
while for her, it was a nightmare,
and something real was somewhere
in between us ,
... that we never understood.
It was just a silly dream,
that had to do with everything,
that I ever cared about in life,
... and so much more than that.
She was and is the dream,
that I still dream of,
and when I shut my eyes down,
lonely in the night ...
She is the dream that I wake up to,
right before my proper warning,
I find myself awake,
- - - and still in love.
A silly dream that has a meaning,
when I am sure that it should not,
a stupid dream that hurts too much inside,
- - - yet, I'd give everything I've got,
to make it real one more time,

Castle In The Air
And if she asks you why you can tell her that I told you
That I'm tired of Castles in the Air
I've got a dream I want the world to share in castle walls
Just leave me to despair
Hills of forest green where the mountains touch the sky
A dream come true, I'll live there 'til I die
I'm asking you, to say my last goodbye

Nottingham By Night
My dream began that midnight hour, my spirit soared on high
And midst such wonder and such power I flew across the sky...
As if an angel, blessed with wings, with supernatural eyes,
I paused to ponder precious things with wisdom oh so wise...
For there upon the Earth below, a hundred thousand souls
Were shining brightly, all aglow, with love that overflows...
That pours out sweetly, just like wine, with kindness everywhere,
Inspired by God's love divine, each showed by what they share...
As I flew over, street-by-street, the hopes inside me grew,
For I saw people gently meet with words like, 'I love you! '
'But, Lord! ' I prayed, 'This prophecy as yet is unfulfilled...
Until You show them Calvary, no faith has been instilled...'
I heard the Lord reply in kind, as clear, as clear as day!
With holy scriptures to remind that Jesus is The Way...
'It's up to them! Each has a choice! As adults, they seek love,
Yet even little girls and boys can pray to God above...'
'What can I do to spread the Word? ' I asked the Lord again,
For by this dream my heart was stirred, so God gave me a pen...
'Write down the tenderness you've seen! The love that all could own!
The good, the bad and all between, such that these truths are known! '
That's why I share my dream today, with readers here and there
And why I'm much more prone to pray now I've been made aware...
Some souls are lost! Some souls are found! Dreams give us new insight.

Lost Eyes
you sit alone everyday
while you try to find a way
to run away from all your pain
your feelings make you cold
your memories never unfold
your story hides in your mind
all those thoughts lost, you cant find
stop trying to hide inside
the blackness is makeing you blind
searching for your lost days
everything seems to fade in some way
bring your shadow into the light
