The rover leaves his home
Leaving his father with right hand
Leaving his mother with left hand
Leaving his brother with right foot
Leaving his childhood with left foot

He moves forward and release the burden
Put the cushion from his back
Put the robe from his shoulder
Put the wine from his waist

The rover goes and sacrifices all
Sacrifice his fellowship
Sacrifice his lover
Sacrifice his soul

He still moves forward though lost everything
The Gods condemn him
All mothers wail over him

Because the rover keeps moving forward
Leaving tears
Leaving past
Looking for redemption
For everything he left

An Ever Moving Friend

A shadows moves forward,
It`s mine...mine alone ever.
My shadow has a mission
He must tread past me ever and everywhere
Irrespective directions and distances.
He is like a calf mischevious full of energy.

Each time my shadow reaches the destination a lot early
And he sends a message to me with spellings accurate:
'I have reached safe, don`t worry'.
Should I go back now? I am uncertain.
I see very often much to my head-ache
Men and women travelling with no shadows close.

My shadow alone moves on leaving me far behind
And I just wish him all the best while I blow out a sad smile.
One day his destinations will end for want of pathways.
Then he will stay with me I am sure.
And he will triumph in his spring of youth
He doesn`t know about the unlaid tracks ahead.

The Big Hand

The big hand makes all of your favourite things
Like all your friends looks small and all your feelings are gone
And the flowers on the wall
And the words don't fit
But the way the big hand smiles you just won't care about it

When I Think About Leaving

You know some times me and my lady have these crazy fights and when we do it makes me wonder

My sister is leaving home
Leaving ever for Rome
Her return is to be history
Enchanted by an untold mystery

I hated her, oh-so much
Her and her stupid lot of friends
Bossy, screaming, arrogant girls
Oh- I’m so happy she’s leaving home!

No more knocking before entering
No more kicking and screaming
I don’t have to listen to her muttering
And a big room, I’ll get to myself at last

Lavender windows and burgundy doors
Olive green pillows on ebony floors
The lightest of wine

I hear the cries on the playground of my childhood, but many years ago my childhood was over.

I feel with age that wisdom makes me sober.
I hear the orders of youth recalling.

As I hear the cries of childhood.

Police Brutality

Guns blaze in rage and anger
leaving another dead
as bullets pierce a
body without armor,
leaving everyone asking the question
why, as no one understand the pain
of a mother

tears held back to show courage
as so called serve and protect
caused some damage
in anger and pain feeling brokenhearted,
left a brother with a gun in outrage

tears came down like rain
but none can wash away
the blood stain

Alone Again

In a little while from now
If i'm not feeling any less sour
I promise myself to treat myself
And visit a nearby tower
And climbing to the top will throw myself off
In an effort to make it clear to whoever
What it's like when you're shattered
Left standing in the lurch at a church
Where people saying: "my god, that's tough"
"she stood him up"
"no point in us remaining"
"we may as well go home"
As i did on my own
Alone again, naturally
To think that only yesterday
I was cheerful, bright and gay
Looking forward to, who wouldn't do?
The role i was about to play?
But as if to knock me down
Reality came around
And without so much as a mere touch
Cut me into little pieces

Talk about god in his mercy
Who, if he really does exist,
Why did he desert me?
In my hour of need
