stretched to be the best
competed to be the first
challenged to be the strangest
altius, citius, fortius
only to be written in sentences

Citius, Altius, Fortius
The audience has gathered, the stage is set-
Now is the time to see if your expectations are met
With victory as the only acceptable outcome:
You came in search of a gold medal and will not leave without one.
You test yourself against the very best in the world,
In hopes that when all is said and done, Old Glory is unfurled.
As the event unfolds, the battle for supremacy
Causes you to question your training's efficacy
For a brief moment, until you dig deeper than ever before.
The pain builds in your body-but, you must ignore
It until you achieve your Olympic dream;
You have done it-above all others, you reigned supreme!
The Stars and Stripes shall wave highest, to mark this achievement.
While all others are consoled, in their moments of bereavement,
You revel in your goal's fruition: to be the very best.
You trained for many years and excelled at every test
Along the way, in preparation for this moment in time.
The road has not been easy, and long has been the climb,
Yet, on this day your feat is unmatched and your nation is proud.
You represented us with honor and courage and our cheers are loud.
With the world as your stage, you were the embodiment of the Olympic creed:
'Citius, Altius, Fortius'-faster, higher, stronger indeed,
Than all others on this day-when it matters the most.
Though, you have no time or want to brag or boast-
You have too much respect for the efforts of all who showed.
You pray a silent prayer, for the obligation owed-
To Him, and all who have helped you along the way,
Then congratulate all others who have competed today.
This was you time, and this, your place-
And now, all the world is privy to your artistic grace,
Unrivaled speed and herculean strength-today, you shined!
All your sacrifices and skills today, combined
To make you the champion that you were rightly crowned-
The best in the world showed up, and you were the best around!

Personal Best
There is a question controversial,
About the use of stimulants artificial,
By the sporting athletes, their performance,
In the sporting arena to enhance.
Sports icon Lance Armstrong,
Was stripped of his titles as wrong,
When the Tour de France cycling event he won,
For a record of seven times in a run.
He beat the malady-Cancer-with drugs,
And when his tests proved positive for drugs,
His fan-following world wide were shocked,
And all cancer patients with ire were up cocked.
All sports organizations consider the drugs unethical,
As they are subversive of fair play on a field level.
In sports the Olympic Motto is writ larger,
As CITIUS, ALTIUS, FORTIUS (faster, higher, stronger)
By which the athletes are invoked to win,
And break records in many a discipline.
Scientific training has also made contributions,
Added to which are the technological innovations,
Like the use of graphite in tennis racquets for playing,
And for the material in poles for pole-vaulting.
It is thus ethical to use such equipment for ranks,
And in mountaineering for the use of oxygen tanks.
These days there is an increasing competition,
And school children are driven by a compulsion,
To score better and better than their batch- peers,
Else, in the rat race they may be behind with tears.
For them to emerge as toppers, tutorials their lessons devise,
And some children use amphetamines to keep awake and revise,
Some students take coffee or tea or pills to keep in size,
Can these be called subversive and unethical wise?
It shouldn't be considered unsporting to use drugs,
Let all do their personal best in all things with drugs.
To ban all drugs and artificial stimulants—it is possible,
But to ban the spirit of competitiveness—it is impossible.

Human Beings
Human being beings are strange in being human,
Strange in love and art and vice,
Strange in being nice
Human beings are strangers in the night
Lights shining on a starry night
No sooner blinked out they are gone
A stranger in the human race
Keeping up keeping face,
Moving on
In crowds and queues and buses
Walking alone at ten
Human beings in being human
Make the strangest men
Not easy to be read,
Or clothed or fed
Or put to bed
Each thought entwined
Lives over signed overlapped
Smaller beings kept but not as 'pets'
Sometimes feel 'trapped'
For human beings are best when left at sea
Frantic firey disordered unchained set free
Their limpet souls make rocks their strange security
For love for life for space,
Human beings are strangest in 'The Human Race'

Today... 'God my Maker
I was intricately woven upon His heavenly loom
As He carefully knit me together in my mothers womb
In that most secret of places when my conception took place
Ready at the time of my birth to enter the human race
Before the first moment of my earthly existence began
God had written in His book my inmost being and life plan
Each syllable penned and words in calligraphy composed
There sentences were handwritten and the paragraphs disclosed,
From the first chapter of my birth to the last one of my death
Each had been thoughtfully written before I'd taken a breath
I praise God that I am fearfully and wonderfully made
The handiwork of My Great Creator is in me displayed
Living letters turned into syllables and then became words.
These words began to form phrases and the sentences emerged.
Chapters made out of many paragraphs were arranged with care
each carefully written by the in the book of my life there.
For my life is now that book to be read by everyone
because it speaks of His Grace and the wonders Jesus has done.
For in His mercy before the world was made and time began
He had included Roy Allen in His great Salvation plan.

He Comes Knowing
He comes knowing he is challenged.
He has live his entire life...
Challenged.
Disciplined and observant.
Do you think he is oblivious to the obvious?
And living in a preferred time zone.
Comforted by hidden insecurities...
And deluded by the absence of practiced truths?
He comes knowing he is challenged.
He has live his entire life...
Challenged.
Disciplined and observant.
Do you believe,
One who has been made to feel an 'outsider'...
Does not perceive,
Who receives him as he is!
Amongst those who are quick...
To ridicule him with their negative judgements.
He comes knowing he is challenged.
He has live his entire life...
Challenged.
Disciplined and observant.
And...
He is guided by the 'Divine'!
In time,
You will discover that.
He comes knowing he is challenged.
And knowing he does...
What will and must take place,
To clean up disgraceful traces left,
By those who have lived their entire lives unchallenged...
Thoughtless.
And,
Born to feed their greed!
Prepare...
For the 'We Can and 'We Will'
Winds of change to blow,
Dramatically across the land!
And free of addicting pollutants.

Soul Brother (Freddy)
Well there is this guy who is my soul brother, you might be thinking what in the world is that, well he is like my twin brother but were not related.
He is who always keep me going and helps me stand up when something is bad.
This guy, has competed my sentences, helped me alot with my problems, explain to me stuff in Purple language, and put up with me for 4 years.
We share the same birthdate, our love for 3DG, and a great intrest for writing.
All I can say is I am gonna miss him a bunch, I mean there is not alot of people who put up with me..
Freddy, thanks for everything you have done for me you are a real brother to me..
I love you, from your only sister, Purple! ... :)

One Step At a Time
Challenged.
To face my own insecurities.
And see them for what they are.
Challenged I am with brutal honesty.
With the intent to pick them apart.
I am ready to breathe freely.
Challenged...
Yes!
But today I am not defensive.
Or offended by the time I have taken,
To get to this point in my life.
With habits I will address next.
But for now...
I am satisfied,
To be able to take one step at a time.
This life is mine.
And I am finally fine with it!

There’s an anarchic element in me
There’s an anarchic element in me,
an opposition to government,
a aversion to control, preaching disorder
coming from being forced into the military,
being forced in subjection
to order and discipline
forced to kill
ignoring your beliefs, forced to buckle to
the demands of society
to learn lethal skills, against your will
and ignoring the impact
as if you as a human being
is just another machine
that can be turned on and off
and are ready for use for political ends
and I am not wanting to participate in RICA
where big brother wants your name,
address that accompanies your cellular phone number
as if the government wants to control sanity and peace
being a exile against it, wanting isolation and freedom
from government and it agencies
which deal with you with atrophy
as if not geared to meet expectations
in a obverse phase with indifference
as if you are just another meaningless human being.

Strangest Tribe
It's five below in evidence.
The winded eves and sideways snow.
His eminence has yet to show.
Follow the ageless tide.
Follow the angled light.
Follow the strangest tribe.
I... I... I...
It's 6:00 AM. You're waiting for...
You've had your feast. You're wanting more.
Follow the wayward mile.
Follow the distant high.
Follow the strangest tribe.
I... I... I...
Follow the ancient stripe.
Follow the angels try.
Follow the strangest tribe.
I... I... I...

I'll agonize over sentences. Mostly because you're trying to create specific effects with sentences, and because there are a number of different voices in the book.

Bwtween two
forced to choose between the two,
forced to choose between honesty and dispair,
forced to choose between beauty and destruction,
forced to choose between life and death,
forced to choose between 3 years and 5 years,
forced to choose between who i am friends with,
and still with the choice of both i loose one.

Moments Of Writing Poetry
Draft poems sometimes like
loose ripped off pieces of paper
to be drafted out roughly upon.
Draft poems hang around
in the strangest places waiting
to be written out one day.
Draft poems wait for a poet
to wake at the beginning of day
to be written out, in any
seized moments, sacrificed.
This is now time, shower time, eating time,
reflective time, conversation time, work time;
t.v. time, driving time, riding motorcycle time,
going to sleep time, cooking time, or any time.
Draft poems can only be written
in spared moments of seized time.
Draft poems can only be written today,
they will not wait for fair weather like hay,
which lays around waiting to be harvested.
Draft poems will not wait for a clear sunny day to dawn,
and then mature slowly, over a perfect golden summer.
Draft poems are ever now or never
if they are ever to be swiftly written.
A draft may possibly be perfected
upon any future day of favoured writing;
but a draft never written is a poem
never written, never completed, never known.

Lovin' The Alien (extended 12" Dance-mix)
Watching them come and go
The templars and the saracens
They're traveling the holy land
Opening telegrams oh ho
Torture comes and torture goes
Knights who'd give you anything
They bear the cross of coeur de leon
Salvation for the mirror blind oh ho
But if you pray all your sins are hooked upon the sky
Pray and the heathen lie will disappear
Prayers they hide the saddest view
(Believing the strangest things, loving the alien)
And your prayers they break the sky in two
(Believing the strangest things, loving the alien)
Thinking of a different time
Palestine a modern problem
Bounty and your wealth in land
Terror in a best laid plan
Watching them come and go
Tomorrows and the yesterdays oh ho
Christians and the unbelievers
Hanging by the cross and nail oh ho
But if you pray all your sins are hooked upon the sky
Pray and the heathen lie will disappear oh ho
Prayers they hide the saddest view
(Believing the strangest things, loving the alien)
And your prayers they break the sky in two
(Believing the strangest things, loving the alien)
You pray till the break of dawn
(Believing the strangest things, loving the alien)
And you'll believe you're loving the alien

Believeing the strangest things (loving the alien)

Universal Human
(*original in Telugu by Papineni SivaSankar)
No, not physically challenged
But he, who challenged physics
He who emerged victor
Over the paralyzing ‘motor neuron’
With his intellectual work-out
He who stabilized
The powdered sounds of speech
With the speech-synthesizer
He who instilled confidence
In all those challenged
With his brawny arms of wisdom
He’s a swimmer par excellence
In the cosmic oceans
With limbs paralyzed
Performs aerobics in the cavern of time
He swings joyfully
On the threads of galaxies
Steadfast in his belief
That the universe is eternal
He went on to define a designer-universe
Denying entry even to the original designer
No, he isn’t physically-challenged
He is Mr. Intellectual-handsome
