A reason to live
A man's reason to live is his very reason to die. His reason to live is his reason to sacrifice by his reason to love. His reason to love is his reason to die. If he died it would be a great sacrifice by reason of his faith. Then that reason of faith is substantiated if that love is good. Therefore his faith is purposeful.
A dangerous man has no reason to live and therefore no reason to love as all is lost. If that man has no love he has no reason for faith and he has no reason of faith because there is no love. He will give up his life easily. Look at the ones who love you and you will have the reason to live. That reason to live is what makes you believe in life. Therefore by reason of love you have faith and by reason of faith you have life. - John 17: 3

Get Up Off Your Pity Pot To Stop It
To wiggle out from under all doubts,
With a hanging them out to dry...
In front of passersby to eye,
Is intended to get attention.
Give those petty bits of pity,
To solicit empathy...
Away.
Today.
And...
Throw those doubts you've picked to pity,
With that selfishness that doesn't pay...
To get attention to gain.
Just get up off your pity pot to stop it.
And...
Get up off your pity pot to drop.
Just get up off your pity pot to stop it.
'Cause,
Believe this or not...
Very few are into pity.
And believe this or not...
Pity does not benefit.
Fight those doubts to stop and dropp them.
'Cause no pity benefits.
Fight those doubts to stop and dropp them.
'Cause no pity benefits.
And...
Believe this or not,
Very few are into pity.
And believe this or not...
Pity does not benefit.
Just get up off your pity pot to stop it.
'Cause,
Believe this or not...
Very few are into pity.
And believe this or not...

Just get up off your pity pot to stop it.
And...
Just get up off your pity pot to stop it quick!
Get up off your pity pot to stop this quick.
'Cause believe this or not...
Your pity does not benefit.
Just get up off your pity pot to stop it.
And...
Just get up off your pity pot to stop it quick!
'Cause believe this or not...
Your pity does not benefit,
One bit.

One Reason
Lighting candles in the church of my choice
Loving strangers in the dark
Looking for someone to give me what i lack
Searching for something 'til you showed me
The gun in my back
I'm human and i need it
And i must have my beliefs
I open myself to the love (yea)
I love you 'cause you showed me
A merciful release
I'm living this time and i know you gave
Me the reason
One reason (to believe), one reason (you're the one)
One reason (to believe), one reason (my baby)
One reason (it's all i need), one reason (to believe)
Trying to get faith from the $8.50 paperbacks
Hoping they'll show me the way (the way to what)
Man in a crisis, a young girl in his bed
She's trying to help him when she tells him
It's all in his head
I'm human and i need it
I must have my beliefs
I open myself to the love (yea)
I love you 'cause you showed me
A merciful release
I'm living this time and i know you gave
Me the reason
One reason (to believe), one reason (you're the one)
One reason (to believe), one reason (my baby)
One reason (it's all i need), one reason (to believe)
I bow to the east or i kneel to the west
It's a matter of faith
I'm the only one who has to believe it
One reason (to believe), one reason (you're the one)
One reason (to believe), one reason (my baby)
One reason (it's all i need), one reason (to believe)
I bow to the east or i kneel to the west
It's a matter of faith
I'm the only one who has to believe it
One reason (to believe), one reason (you're the one)
One reason (to believe), one reason (my baby)
One reason (it's all i need), one reason (to believe)

Fears of a teenage mafioso
Fear of love,
Fear of pain,
Fear of the unforgiving cane,
Fear of lies,
Fear of sighs,
Fear of those distraught eyes,
Fear for the unknown,
Fear for the known,
Fear of everything combined,
Fear is what makes me blind,
Fear is what makes me think,
and act in blind accordance,
Hindering the world around me,
Hence, My Fear of myself
Fear is when you run away,
Fear is when you’re scared to love someone,
Fear is when the sky turns grey,
Fear of confusion,
Fear is like a dark blue ocean,
Fear won’t let me escape
Fear mocks me, watching
Fear taunts me, waiting
Fear of losing,
Fear you cannot see,
Fear dealt upon thee.
Fear of darkness and death,
Fear of a dead comrade,
Fear of a gun being cocked,
Fear of being endlessly stalked,
Fear of time,
Fear of all the crime,
Fear of the undesirable truth,
Fear for the good.
Fear for the sake of life,
Fear of the neighbors next door,
Fear of the secretive man in the subway,
Fear of the revolutionary uproar,
Fear is to not rejoice your living,
Fear for the sake of your life,
But to fear is to forsake it.
Fear is to have no hope in life,
Fear of the fear of fear,
We need no reason to fear,
For fear has no reason for itself.
I guess life is just like that,
To fear for no reason,
For to fear is not to reason,
But to reason is to fear.
To fear for the sake of fear,
Is fear for fear,
So let me think,
What else do I fear?
What else do I fear?
What else do I fear?

Specific By Design
Lazy adults raised by irresponsible children,
Choosing to do what they please...
With the making of excuses encouraged as done,
Are not the ones to blame for their attitudes towards life.
Many do not accept transitions and think of them as painful.
Every example of a quality of life to value,
Has been degraded by those lazy who view mediocrity...
As too much of a struggle to achieve,
With an escaping from a hopelessness and self pity.
And the evidence of their influence is too obvious to avoid.
And they are left trapped in sadness patterns.
With their touches of guilt to add to a quilt...
Specific by design.
Left trapped in sadness patterns.
With their touches of guilt to add to a quilt...
Specific by design.
And the evidence that is knitted in,
Becomes too obvious to avoid.
Left trapped in sadness patterns.
With their touches of guilt to add to a quilt...
Specific by design.
And the evidence that is knitted in,
Becomes too obvious to avoid.
And they are left trapped in sadness patterns.
With their touches of guilt to add to a quilt...
Specific by design.
And the evidence that sits,
Becomes too obvious to avoid.
Or can anyone conscious excuse the limits of it!
And the purpose with intentions to confine...
Those of shallow and unused minds.

Life can never give security, it can only promise opportunity.
If You Have Been Given The Opportunity
IF you have been given the opportunity,
To be invited to view a bigger picture of life...
That includes you,
But for some reason...
You are no longer tha main topic of it?
Grab a hold onto this opportunity.
You may discover a different world,
You had no idea existed.
And others like yourself,
Finding the useless need...
To adorn rose colored glasses.
Getting a much wider vision of life,
And how the experience of living it...
Can benefit with a more rewarding purpose,
That redefines your identity with clarity!
If...
You have been given that opportunity.

Can't you see it?
You ask me where the love is
But you don't realize it's everywhere
You ask me where our dreams are
But you don't realize it's right in front of us
You ask for the promise
But you don't realize that we already have it
You ask me where the faith is
But you don't realize that everything has faith
Can't you see the love beside us?
Can't you see the dreams in front?
Don't you know the promise is in our hearts?
Don't you know that we have faith?
You ask for things we already have
Where is the love?
Where is our dreams?
Where is the peace?
Where is the promise?
Where is the faith?
Can't you see the love beside us?
Can't you see the dreams in front?
Don't you know the promise is in our hearts?
Don't you know that we have faith?
Can't you see that it's everywhere?
Can't you see the happiness?
Can't you see the peacefulness?
Or are you too busy
with looking at the bad things
To see the good?
When you look at the bad things
That's all you get.
Can't you see the love beside us?
Can't you see the dreams in front?
Don't you know the promise is in our hearts?
Don't you know that we have faith?
You should be saying
I can see the love
I can see the dreams
I can see the promise
I can see the faith
I can see the peace
Can't you see the love beside us?
Can't you see the dreams in front?
Don't you know the promise is in our hearts?
Don't you know that we have faith?
You should be saying
I feel the love
I feel the dream
I feel the promise
I feel the faith
I feel the peace
Can't you see the love beside us?
Can't you see the dreams in front?
Don't you know the promise is in our hearts?
Don't you know that we have faith?
If you don't see those things
I'll show you
It's not hard to show
Love
Be loved
Dream
Have dreams
Promise
Have promise
Faith
Have faith
Can't you see the love beside us?
Can't you see the dreams in front?
Don't you know the promise is in our hearts?
Don't you know that we have faith?
You ask me where the love is
But you don't realize it's everywhere
You ask me where our dreams are
But you don't realize it's right in front of us
You ask for the promise
But you don't realize that we already have it
You ask me where the faith is
But you don't realize that everything has faith

The spirit of man has awakened and the soul of man has gone forth. Grant us the wisdom and the vision to comprehend the greatness of man's spirit, that suffers and endures so hugely for a goal beyond his own brief span. Grant us honor for our dead who died in the faith, honor for our living who work and strive for the faith, redemption and security for all captive lands and peoples. Grant us patience with the deluded and pity for the betrayed. And grant us the skill and valor that shall cleanse the world of oppression and the old base doctrine that the
strong must eat the weak because they are strong. Yet most of all grant us brotherhood, not only for this day but for all our years — a brotherhood not of words but of acts and deeds. We are all of us children of earth — grant us that simple knowledge. If our brothers are oppressed, then we are oppressed. If they hunger, we hunger. If their freedom is taken away, our freedom is not secure. Grant us a common faith that man shall know bread and peace — that he shall know justice and righteousness, freedom and security, an equal opportunity and an equal chance to do his best, not only in our own lands, but throughout the world. And in that faith let us march toward the clean world our hands can make. Amen.

Opportunity
Opportunity, it is said,
knocks but once.
Opportunity, sometimes
knocks a few times.
The gospel truth is,
Opportunity's frequency is erratic.
Opportunity is a windfall,
in true truth a one-off affair.
This explicitly explains why
To the wise the plausible option,
is to grab the first opportunity.
Striking when iron is hot
Sparing oneself the guilt
Of not grasping an opportunity,
When it itself, presents.
Opportunity to the fool,
knocks when requested.
It is there to be clasped,
when really required.
No doubt missed opportunity,
is the facet of a fool.
Be wise, act rationally
Be guided by the reasoning
The time- tested saying
‘opportunity, knocks but once'.

By Eve'ry Sweet Tradition of True Hearts
By ev'ry sweet tradition of true hearts,
Graven by Time, in love with his own lore;
By all old martyrdoms and antique smarts,
Wherein Love died to be alive the more;
Yea, by the sad impression on the shore,
Left by the drown'd Leander, to endear
That coast for ever, where the billow's roar
Moaneth for pity in the Poet's ear;
By Hero's faith, and the foreboding tear
That quench'd her brand's last twinkle in its fall;
By Sappho's leap, and the low rustling fear
That sigh'd around her flight; I swear by all,
The world shall find such pattern in my act,
As if Love's great examples still were lack'd.

Feelings cause behaviours.
You attack a system, assault a tradition,
Criticize a person, condemn a practice,
Scorn the lowly and pass on judgment
Just to feel a sense of superiority.
You support a system, applaud a tradition,
Appreciate a person, follow a practice,
Pity the lowly and seek judgment
Just to feel a sense of security.

You Only Show Me Interest
I would love to sit and spend more time with you.
Looking at life from your point of view.
But of late,
I am reminded doing this I have done.
With little of my own visions,
You have neither invited or have welcomed.
And if you did,
You've made many excuses...
To run to do errands,
With a wish that I would come.
Today my happiness for me has begun.
And it has taken me a while to understand,
My happiness is of no interest to you.
Unless,
Of course...
It is spent entirely catering to you,
And what it is you like to do.
No more am I in it just to give to you, boo!
You have no interest in me.
You only show me interest,
If it is a benefit to you in all that you do.
And people like you around me I don't need.
'That's not true! '
What is it that I like most to do?
'You never mentioned it.
So how would I know? '

I
I was granted the opportunity to live
Let me have life
I was taught how to love
Let me love my neighbor
I was told about tradition
Let me be proud of my heritage
I learned about school
Let me have knowledge
I found friends
Let me give you friendship
I was granted the opportunity to shine
Please let me be a star

My Back Up System
If I can not convince a rabid dog chasing me,
That on my better days I may not run away from it...
In fear,
As it is clearly chasing me with a look not friendly...
What makes you believe my change of attitude,
Will allow me to see that I need to give you more time...
To prove,
You are actually my soul mate in disguise?
And the constant nagging that you do,
Is only for my own benefit.
But I need to experience you as my best friend 'first'!
And that will never happen...
If I keep interpreting your being smitten with me,
As an opportunity to see me wounded and bitten.
And that I should already know,
That is the furthest thing from your mind.
For some reason my mind AND feet,
Have communicating issues.
Especially on those days when I am without patience,
To sit and think about solutions and their outcomes.
And for that very reason my feet move to run.
And so very glad I am that takes the pressure off me,
To have that automatically as my back up system.
