The sunlight of Gods love,
Oh such strength, from above;
Taking care of each daughter and son,
Thankyou Lord, for the care given under the Sun.
The sunlight of God, the immeasurable love,
He gives and gives, and sends peace like a dove;
Peace that passeth all understanding,
Thanks to You, for not letting me get demanding.

Prayer for Peace
Lord, I pray for nothing else
Just “Peace” Lord!
Peace with a dash of happiness
But, only if you please.
Otherwise, Lord I will satisfy
Myself with just peace.
I have no other wish, Lord
Other than your own abundant, enduring peace,

Dear Lord Jesus,
I know of this woman who needs your help in a bad way.
I have heard she is having a bad time, and her grand-daughter is there to stay
I don't know much about her Lord, all I know is her name is Ruby Lee
she needs a bit of your strength and love
so she can go home healthy and happy

Bound for the Lord-Knows-Where
'Where are you going with your horse and bike,
And the townsfolk still at rest?
Where are you going, with your swag and pack,
And the night still in the West?
Your clothes are worn, and your cheques are gone,
But your eyes are free from care?”
“We’re bushmen down for a spree in town,
And we’re bound for the Lord-knows-where,
Old chap—we’re bound for the Lord-knows-where.”
(There are great dark scrubs in the Lord-knows-where,
Where they fight it out alone,
There are wide wide plains in the Lord-knows-where,
Where a man’s soul is his own.
There is healthy work, there is healthy rest,
There is peace from self-torture there,
And the glorious freedom from paltriness!
And they’re bound for the Lord-knows-where.)
“Now, where are you going in your Sunday suit,
And a bag for your second best?
Now where are you going with your chest of tools,
And the old togs in the chest?
With your six clean shirts and a pound of ‘weed’,
And enough for a third-class fare?”
“Oh! I’ll be afloat by the very next boat,
And I’m bound for the Lord-knows-where,

There are marvellous sights to see,
There are high old games in the Lord-knows-where,

There is love and music, and life and light from
The Heads to “Lester” Square,
There is more than space for their high young hearts
There is safety or danger there,
And they’ll come back wild, or they’ll come back tamed
When they’ve been to the Lord-knows-where.)

His Present Peace
A peace the world does not afford, is granted to us by The Lord,
Peace which one cannot explain, given in the power of His Name,
The Lord and Savior from above, provides this peace I speak of,
An abundant peace to all of us, who in Christ, have put their trust.
The peace afforded all by Grace, sustains us in the darkest place,
Even through the darkest night, peace from God becomes a light.
And in the light of God’s Word, His Peace to us isn’t just inferred,
God’s Peace to us is guaranteed, for Christ Himself, has decreed.
God’s Peace, is offered to all of us, from the lips of Christ Jesus,
While in this world of tribulation, we have peace through Salvation,
When our trials, by men are ignored, we draw hope from The Lord,
Who, while darkness does increase, with His Light gives us peace.
Earthly things are often priced, but, not the Peace of Jesus Christ,
As its true worth is immeasurable, all provided by The Father’s will,
Provided by Him, absolutely free, to all believers, like you and me,
Transcending all we understand, while guided by our Father’s hand.
Christ’s Peace isn’t of this world; this is the victory we must herald,
For with His Peace there is hope, and His strength to help us cope,
When our trials seem not so right, to point all men to Christ’s Light,
As we live in the world’s uncertainty, with hearts at home in Eternity.

I Go To God
I need to wrap my heart in peace, from God above that will not cease.
When troubles on the earth do arise, I go to God, who rules the skies.
When I face this life’s uncertainties, I go to God, who controls eternity.
When my heart becomes unsure, I go to my faithful, unchanging Lord.
Facing the encounters in this life, He helps me through pain and strife.
Whatever it is or wherever I trod, I can rely on the strength of my God.
In His strength He sees me through, with His Love so faithful and true.
Even through the darkest of night, I know in the end, I’ll see His Light.
God is the wind beneath my wings; peace in sorrow is what He brings.
And as the storms in this life do blow, The Lord lifts me higher as I go.
Even as life’s plans fail and fall apart, God places a joy into my heart.
And even in the darkest valley low, His peace inside, begins to grow.
Friend, The Lord above, who’s over all, will pick you up when you fall.
He will then lift you up to His breast, and in your trial you will find rest.
God will then put you on higher ground, where His peace will abound.
You’ll see that any circumstance, is allowed by Him, not mere chance.
For God may put us through a fire, but only to purify our heart’s desire,
And all things work together for, the good of those who know The Lord,
All called according to His purpose, beginning a time of eternal service,
And time down here won’t compare, to the time in Glory without a care.

A Sunday Prayer of Thanks
Dear Father in Heaven, today I'm not going to ask anything of you.
I want to praise you Lord and give thanks for all that you do.
As of late Father I've asked you for many blessings and you have granted many of them Father. You helped my daughter find her way and open a wonderful art shop, oh Lord I thank you. You kept my children out of harms way Lord and showed my grandson the error of his ways bringing him back on track Lord, I thank you. You granted my grandson, my daughter and myself a trip to Nova Scotia this year Lord, I thank you Father. You made sure my mother isn't suffering with her leg Father. You saw to it that David Harris came home from the hospital and is recovering nicely, I thank you Father. You took care of some issues for my friends Shelley and her new husband Michael Lord, I thank you.
Father God, I'm sure I've missed some, but you know what they are and that I want to thank you on their behalf.
Father God, thankyou for all the wonderful things you do and most of all Father, thankyou for your precious son 'Jesus'.

Warmth
When the sunlight comes shining through
the first thing I think of is you.
The warmth it brings as it touches my skin
is as exactly as you do.
To be carressed in abundant warmth
is a gift I treasure so.
And so I welcome the sunlight
and languish it wherever I go.

The Peace of God vs. The Peace of The World
-God says I give you the peace of God, that passes all Understanding
The World says ' I will give you peace' but the world doesn't tell you that that peace is just too Demanding.
-God says Love thy neighhbor
The world says hate thy enemy and love only under certain circumstances.
-God says I will show you the way, for I am a lamp unto your feet
The world says You are on your own.
*The peace of God vs the Peace of the World
The world says ' Go head girl put cha leg up' and that 69 is fine
-The Lord says: ' Have fun' but Honor me cus I am yours and you are Mine.
The world says ' this ain't burger king, you can't always have it your way'.
-The Lord says 'don't worry, tommorrow will be a brighter day'!
The world gives you hope, peace and joy that is only temporary
-But the Lord gives you joy like a river overflowing, smiles that have other people glowing.
He makes your enemy your footstool,
