How Shall I Escape
Allergy symptoms, eyes skew, world upside
down everyone I know is gone, only empty
shells of ourselves left, the iron clamp on my
Hail Mary head still tightening-mea culpa-oh
yes I know full well something is wrong with
my vibrational skills I attract problems like a
magnet today, every choice made is wrought
with great danger-although what will happen
next is Heisenbergian uncertainty
I suspect it will continue the pattern of Unheil
und schmerzhafte Leidenschaft* - my early
morning attempt to change life into a lovely
safe place exploded and now I am lost at my
desk, the iron clamp tightening, tightening,
tightening still - and how shall I make my
escape - get a cup of coffee and regard
the world through a caffeine-induced
clearer eye?
*painful passion

As A Re-vamping Advances
Clamped!
Those with fantasies...
Tightening down with a clamp.
Those who don't believe,
A tightened down clamp...
Will be achieved,
And not romanced.
As a re-vamping advances...
To clamp!
Those with fantasies...
Tightening down with a clamp.
Those who don't believe,
A tightened down clamp...
Will be achieved,

Tightening down with a clamp.

1-2-3...and,
Clamped!
Those with fantasies...
Tightening down with a clamp.

Alpine Traverse Each Step Victory Won
can you feel throb at back of skull?
can you feel vice tightening on head?
can you feel ache behind eyeballs?
can you feel ache behind cheek bones?
can you feel ache in spine back?
can you feel ache tightening in legs?
can you see weary grey fatigue?
can you push on push on push on?

Truth Has Come To Stay
Scrap those plans,
To keep delusions safe...
In a protected place.
Realities must be faced.
Time no longer awaits,
For decisions to be made...
After wasteful debates.
Scrap those plans,
To keep delusions safe...
In a protected place.
An honesty arrives and will be felt.
Whether on knees,
Or with a tightening of a belt...
Truth has come to stay!

The Downside Of An Upside Lived
The downside of an upside lived,
Is like the body cleansing itself...
To rid from a cold or a virus inflicted.
Those trying to cling onto something,
Possessed with a tightening hold...
Are the ones most embarrassed,
By a letting go of that which exposes.
It is all recycled!
To renew and replace.
Here today and gone tomorrow,
Is a part of life difficult to face.
If there wasn't two sides of a coin,
What would be the purpose...
To wish for heads or tails?
How boring it would be if neither existed.

Again, the American people expect us to do what they are doing. It's tightening the belt, it's learning how to do more with less. That's a reality today, and we've got to do that in order to get the private sector growing.

I Don't Understand You At All
I don't understand you at all.
What has the tightening of my belt,
Have to do with the feeding of my gluttony?
Everywhere I look...
You Tease me with greed.
You offer my imagination,
A choice of varieties.
Even with my attempts to diet,
There are an array of them...
From which you bombard me to pick.
And no matter which one I select...
You create another method,
You say is more delicious.
I don't understand you at all.
What has the tightening of my belt,
Have to do with the feeding of my gluttony?
Everywhere I look...
You Tease me with greed.
You offer my imagination,
A choice of varieties.
Even with my attempts to diet,
There are an array of them...
From which you bombard me to pick.
And no matter which one I select...
You create another method,
You say is more delicious.
I don't understand you at all.
Are the warnings of a failing economy,
Just another one of your false calls?

People Are Left to Wonder
Never should one asked another,
To do a favor.
Without an intention,
To return the deed.
Many perceive they can ask for anything.
To believe they are entitled.
To then ignore,
What someone for them has done.
And people are left to wonder,
Why there are those exercising their right...
To roll their eyes accompanied by,
A tightening of jaws and cemented lips.

The Young Man
(in answer to Elisabeth Eybers)
Under the shower her man is soaking wet
where she wraps her arms around him
and around him water splashes.
His skin is soft under her hands,
she washes down his spine
and she almost slips, are against him
and the floor of the shower is slippery
when she moves still closer to him.
Under the shower her man is soaking wet
and he smiles softly with white shining teeth,
she can feel his muscles tightening with power,
she washes down his spine
and when she slips, she has to move her grip on him,
with water flowing over both of them
and around him water splashes.
and he stops her from falling, grabs her with power
and she washes down his upper leg,
she can feel his muscles tightening with power
and the floor is slippery but flat
and she wonders from where his manly power comes?
Under the shower her man is soaking wet
and she washes him as low as every heel,
her fingers grips
and she washes down his upper leg
and his chest hairs are smudged black
and his gaze is full of lust without any suspicion
and around him water splashes.
over his arms, his strong rib cage
She sees his member tightening, totally set
her fingers grips
where suddenly takes him
looking at him with conceit.
Under the shower her man is soaking wet
and around him water splashes
and his smile almost swallows her and it’s bold,
his skin is soft under her hands,
she sees his member tightening, totally set
and she almost slips, are against him.

“Tog, onvolkome afgerond,
hoe sal die lewe hom nog wond:
in sy Achilleskern vind
hy geen beskutting – man of kind:
geheg aan die benedebuik
waar blink haarrankies reeds ontluik,
deuraar, teer soos ’n ooglid, sag
soos murg, hang weerloos die geslag.”
My translation:
“Still, not yet rounded off,
how life will still wound him:
in his Achilles-core
he finds no cover – man or child
attached to the lower abdomen
where shining hair-sprouts are already unfolding
veined, tender like an eyelid, soft
like marrow, the sex hangs defenceless.”]

To America
How would you have us, as we are?
Or sinking 'neath the load we bear?
Our eyes fixed forward on a star?
Or gazing empty at despair?
Rising or falling? Men or things?
With dragging pace or footsteps fleet?
Strong, willing sinews in your wings?
Or tightening chains about your feet?

Athletic Endeavor
Once more it begins
My mind focused
On the task
at hand
Ready?
Muscles tightening
The gathering up
of Both mind
And body
Go!
With every ounce
Of strength and
Determination
I make the
Charge
The obstacle looms
Yet the distance
Shortens while
I push on
Steadily
Uncertainty dawns
As I draw nearer
This hurdle
In my
path
Now the moment
Final effort is
Demanded
I give my
All
No!
Failure!
All was not
Enough to leap
The dreaded hurdle
Exhausted I subside
Exhaling in defeat
Coming to a rest
Wheels against
The Curb
Dedicate to all those who daily challenge such 'hurdles'

Something Loose Needs Tightening
Either way one looks at it,
An implemention of chaos and disaster...
Warned about upon its initiation,
And by an ego ignored...
Could have been avoided.
But it wasn't.
And now those disappointed by the outcome,
Of their inabilities to listen and learn...
Are getting their lessons taught.
But still they do not comprehend,
Those observing them...
Have already determined,
Something loose needs tightening in their heads.
They perceive the world to be round,
And theirs!

Damaged Goods
After knowing how long it took me,
To heal successfully from my own illnesses...
Why would anyone suspect me to have the patience,
To accept, monitor, protect and keep around tolerated...
Damaged goods they expect me to receive from them,
Without question?
And then to say to me my needs are NOT their priority?
'Huh?
Excuse me?
You must be filming a documentary...
And your subject is 'Suspected Fools'.
You've got to be using highly secretive and exclusive medication,
Not yet offered to the public to think of that as my benefit.
You must have been picked to be chemicalized and tested?
Something in your head needs tightening of loose bolts and nuts,
As well as an absence of any respect detected you should locate...
Immediately.'
If I had not experienced this attempt to attack my logic,
My mouth would still be open from the disbelief.
And to see someone look at me as if I am the one who offends...
Is the reason why I am thrilled,
To be both physically and mentally mended.

Writer And Culture
Green was culture, Green were you.
After a revolt, after a red,
You have become black,
Your culture black.
Perhaps, I will write in black.
Hip pop, hip hop, Bi pop,
Jockey tight, body loose.
Loose is the costume,
Loose is your future.
It is thy culture.
I get up in heat,
Tightening my feet,
Empty heat, Empty Zest.
I am thirsty to change you.
Can you give me some water?
You too get up in heat,
Posing your fittings,
Around your settings.
I am thirsty for water,
You are thirsty for culture.
You forgot your origin and seed,
While you are busy to feed need.
You want a trend,
You want a mixture,
Thinking change is must.
I see a mass culture building,
At the outdoors you are kneeling.
You are kneeling with feeling,
Begging for hybridity,
For a culture of santry.
I was not a poet,
But your condition made me.
I have a query for your culture,
Will this continue in future?
I think yes; what you say?

Re-discovery
RE-DISCOVERY
Hail the you in you
You may woo or let it woo
It is part; it is whole.
It is the centre also a pole.
It proceed s; it recedes
It is innocent
It is baudy
It is drab it is gaudy
Steer clear of the gutter
In and about you that doth matter
Blush is blush
Success is success
Ever -tightening
Even-brightening
Ever-heighteni ng.
