Change Your Paradigm
Talking about my book, leadership centred on principles
you immediately defend the benevolent autocratic style
so beloved by authoritarian societies, the way we lead
our lives requiring sacrifice and tact from underlings
to remain happy and calm while being disempowered all
the time - oh well, learning patience and resignation
is such a virtue - fighting to change your paradigm
is more than my character and personality will let me,
I don't mind being unpopular since popularity with you
comes at too high a price which I cannot pay even if I
try, to get you to share power with me does not seem
feasible given your entrenched ideas of leaders being
nasty people - I'll say they are!

A Lost Cause
Reading "Principle-Centred Leadership" by
Stephen Covey I feel totally crushed under
the weight of my own immaturity - subject
to sensuous delights, although I always get
up in time for work, a small victory which
underpins successes - he says
We all fall short in focusing on principles
instead of moods and feelings - trying to
wash the chewing gum out of my hair
where it got stuck because I put it there
watching an Anime series "Ourin High
School" with Nici sitting on her bed -
I realise I do not meet even the most basic
principle of leadership, being at the mercy
of words and dreams - he says successful
people defeat their moods immediately as
they practice these skills - I've been trying
to climb the wrong ladder, developing
Artistic expression instead of being a well-
rounded person - now I am literally round
and this is wrong, it indicates my passions
are too strong - and this is wrong, wrong,
wrong, too-do run-run, to-do run-run - oh
dear, here comes a snatch of a song
Covey would throw me out of his course
as a lost cause…

Compromise In Leadership
Media and Catholics
keep telling me
the Pope is the head
of the Roman
Catholic Church
for me God
Jesus the Holy Spirit
is the trinity head
of the Roman
Catholic Church.
Does the Pope
live up to his vast
responsibilities?
Show me
any man
or women
on earth
who lives up to vast
responsibilities?
Politics governments
compromise in leadership
compromise corrupts.
Who has not heard
"all power corrupts"
"absolute power corrupts
absolutely"?
The touchstone
of accountability
was is Ten Commandments
given directly by God.
This was is yardstick
measure to apply
to leadership
politics religion
all decisions.
But rogue rulers
leaders governments
have discarded
the Ten Commandments.
Historically over history
globally like dominoes
all such Empires
all when corruption
endemic infuses
any organization society.
Either there is repentance
restoration of justice
human rights applied for all
a return to divine
inspired God's laws.
Or arrogance injustice
animates bedrock
common foundation families
shaped building blocks
comprising all societies.
What blood
price compromise
World War Two
Roman Catholic Church
Sacred Pope Vatican City
Nazi Germany Hitler treaty
in total innocent
European lives lost?
What blood guilt
judgement
awaits from God?

Rain In Indiana
No rain in Indiana is what I heard
I thought "Wow, it's raining everywhere else,
sounds absurd."
Then my friend asked—
"Can you make it rain"
I replied—
"O.K. I will do it tomorrow, not today"
Then in morning around 6 eastern time
I did my shaman thing which is totally from my mind.
Then I get a call around 3—
hey, it rained here today—
not in forcast "was it you Suzy? "
I said, yes—
I would of never guessed—
maybe I do have magical power—but we all do—
we can control the elements if we believe it is true.

I Met a Seer
I met a seer.
He held in his hands
The book of wisdom.
"Sir," I addressed him,
"Let me read."
"Child -- " he began.
"Sir," I said,
"Think not that I am a child,
For already I know much
Of that which you hold.
Aye, much."
He smiled.
Then he opened the book
And held it before me. --
Strange that I should have grown so suddenly blind.

Lead "me" to "me
What is this place?
Where have I reached?
I stand infront
The mirror,
As a stranger
Stares back at me.
Do I know her?
Have we met before?
Why do I see in her traces of' me'?
Or is this…
The new ‘me"?
Do I like her?
Brazen she stands…
Her hair wind swept,
Her eyes, wild
No longer windows
To the divinity of her soul.
But her smile has
Traces of "me".
That strange
Devil in "me".
As I shudder in peril,
Where have I reached?
Its miles and miles of mist,
Paths untread,
Lonely beings.
But…
Its this mysterious "me"
Which terrifies my soul.
Did I ever want to be
"her"?
Do I have a choice?
Is it too late to decide,
Revert, run back?
Where did I lose the "me"
I was so proud about?
Pray, give me your magic hand
Do lead "me to"me"…
For without "you" holding "me"
I remain not even "me"
Daddy…
your little 'ai'is all lost
Please lead "me" to "me"….

Sonnet V: Nothing But No
Nothing but "No," and "Aye," and "Aye," and "No"?
How falls it out so strangely you reply?
I tell ye, Fair, I'll not be answer'd so,
With this affirming "No," denying "Aye."
I say, "I love," you slightly answer "Aye";
I say, "You love," you pule me out a "No";
I say, "I die," you echo me an "Aye";
"Save me," I cry, you sigh me out a "No";
Must woe and I have nought but "No" and "Aye"?
No I am I, if I no more can have;
Answer no more, with silence make reply,
And let me take myself what I do crave.
Let "No" and "Aye" with I and you be so;
Then answer "No," and "Aye," and "Aye" and "No."

Parafake: The 'Word'.....[English language; 'new' word]
My wife used the "word" parafake, one evening in our bed.
Now don't get any nasty idea she was speaking of ME, in your nasty head.
In fact I don't believe either of us recall, of WHAT she was speaking,
and "parafake" isn't even a word in my dictionary. I know; I went peeking.
There is paraffin and paraformaldehyde, and parakeet of course,
but I could not find parafake; nor was there parahorse.
So I looked up "para", which turns out to be some sort of money.
Then I looked up the prefix "para- (or par-) ", with no definitions that were funny.
The prefix definitions range from "beside" and "beyond", to "incorrect",
to "a diatomic molecule" which, without super-eyes, I could NOT detect.
Well there was one definition of para-, the prefix, which I thought would fit.
"Para" can mean "assistant" (such as in paralegal) . On that definition I bit.
So then I looked up "fake" in my dictionary to try to pin down "parafake".
Guess what. There are widely varying definitions of "fake", for goodness sake!
Well I've chosen the definition of fake which is "one that is not genuine".
Therefore I say a "parafake" is an "assistant to one that is not genuine". If you don't agree, that is fine.
So a paralegal would be a parafake if her boss had no law degree, and
a vintner's assistant would be a parafake if his boss neither made NOR sold wine. You SEE?

There was one I met upon the road
There was one I met upon the road
Who looked at me with kind eyes.
He said, "Show me of your wares."
And this I did,
Holding forth one.
He said, "It is a sin."
Then held I forth another;
He said, "It is a sin."
Then held I forth another;
He said, "It is a sin."
And so to the end;
Always he said, "It is a sin."
And, finally, I cried out,
"But I have none other."
Then did he look at me
With kinder eyes.
"Poor soul!" he said.

I did not cry
In that day I didn't cry
I didn't know exactly why?
People around and relatives wept
But not all tears except one I had kept
He was laid on the ground
Very quietly and peacefully found
He deserved praises from all
Now I feared all tears may fall
He was man of principles and known as down to earth
He was not at all afraid of death
He used to say" life may be over one day"
Hence never loose patience all the way
Enjoy with whatever you have
Treat all equal and nicely behave
Words may fall as if from sage's tongue
Crystal clear with echo and not a vague
"Dear son, I have a high hope in you"
Never loose a hope and always prove true
I was always upset with his advices
As if he was about to leave me on his demise
He lived his life peacefully
Not all the people might have proved it successfully
I was sure of his life mission
"Life for the people" was his dear ambition
How can I weep over his demise?
When he had taken from me a promise
I will not dropp a tear for whatever reason
As he was not for me at all as single person
I had spent most of my time with the forces
But he had never regretted with simple word of remorse
I controlled my emotions with great difficulty
As he had told me not to feel any kind of sorry
: "Life is not what people firmly believe in and lead"
He used to tell me in private "people must observe and read"
What you are doing and how are you useful for the noble cause?
He may then take deep breath and wait for my response

The Wayfarer
The wayfarer,
Perceiving the pathway to truth,
Was struck with astonishment.
It was thickly grown with weeds.
"Ha," he said,
"I see that none has passed here
In a long time."
Later he saw that each weed
Was a singular knife.
"Well," he mumbled at last,
"Doubtless there are other roads."

Leadership is not magnetic personality--that can just as well be a glib tongue. It is not 'making friends and influencing people'--that is flattery. Leadership is lifting a person's vision to higher sights, the raising of a person's performance to a higher standard, the building of a personality beyond its normal limitations.

Happiness Is....
HAPPINESS IS…
Happiness is your accepting your
gravely flawed reality,
realizing that there is a cure,
your potentiality.
Deborah Copaken Kogan writes in an NYTBR 5/27/12 essay about Erich Segal's 1985 book "The Class" ('Only Yesterday") :
Ultimately, "The Class" makes the reader feel sorry for its men, whose constant jockeying for fame and power, for "significance, " undermines any gratitude they might have felt for those gifts they possessed in such abundance — life, love, a shot at tomorrow — while simultaneously making them suspicious of those very same ambitions in their Radcliffe classmates. "I mean, brains are O.K. for a girl in moderation, " Andrew Eliot wrote in his diary, "but the Radcliffe types are so... intellectual — and competitive — that they sometimes make you forget why the Lord created women." Though, of one female character Segal wrote: "Fanny had a talent he had not encountered in all the girls he'd dated in America. She was happy just being herself." Perhaps that's what we "competitive Radcliffe types" actually brought to both Harvard and the Harvard narrative — heck, what women have brought to every formerly all-male university and institution: an understanding that while a fancy degree and external validations are nice, they are the icing not the cake; that "happiness" can only be found in acceptance of the flawed self.

The most dangerous leadership myth is that leaders are born-that there is a genetic factor to leadership. This myth asserts that people simply either have certain charismatic qualities or not. That's nonsense; in fact, the opposite is true. Leaders are made rather than born.

Walk with me
"Please, can you not walk with me"?
"Can you not share my burden and make me free"?
She was almost in tears and looked at my face
I had seen gradual change in her phase by phase
She was, not arrogant, but intoxicated by beauty
Almost blinded by money, power and dominant personality
No doubt she belonged to very much affluent family
But as an ordinary proud man I lived too very happily
We were almost drawn by qualities in contrast
Yet with super performance and influence to last
On people's mind with almost magic spell
She was associated with theatre and performing well
I am writer of original class and alone
She has her own murky world and adored by precious stones
I go with simple words and make honorable position
She goes like thunder storm with brain and beauty composition
We have never demanded anything to compromise
On the contrary struck with position and promises
She was all out for me and me totally for her
To stand by in all the situation and face together
I think she had realized about the short duration
Beautiful image and money should not come in the way of relation
With this firmness in mind she uttered "please"
I want your hand and make me at ease
I had waited all along for such event
This was one of the happiest moments
One of the beautiful figures on my side forever
I had to take many things into consideration however
I took split second decision and looked ahead
My eyes reassured her and took the lead
"You are my queen and jewel in crown"
Move few steps with me and make it known
"She may be happiest person" I thought
The happiness and joy was definitely brought
I failed to under why did she take long time?
Where as I was for her and had willingness any time

The ABC
'Twas midnight in the schoolroom
And every desk was shut
When suddenly from the alphabet
Was heard a loud "Tut-Tut!"
Said A to B, "I don't like C;
His manners are a lack.
For all I ever see of C
Is a semi-circular back!"
"I disagree," said D to B,
"I've never found C so.
From where I stand he seems to be
An uncompleted O."
C was vexed, "I'm much perplexed,
You criticise my shape.
I'm made like that, to help spell Cat
And Cow and Cool and Cape."
"He's right" said E; said F, "Whoopee!"
Said G, "'Ip, 'Ip, 'ooray!"
"You're dropping me," roared H to G.
"Don't do it please I pray."
"Out of my way," LL said to K.
"I'll make poor I look ILL."
To stop this stunt J stood in front,
And presto! ILL was JILL.
"U know," said V, "that W
Is twice the age of me.
For as a Roman V is five
I'm half as young as he."
X and Y yawned sleepily,
"Look at the time!" they said.
"Let's all get off to beddy byes."
They did, then "Z-z-z."

The Gift
She paces
By his side
On a quiet street,
Leafy and wide.
The evening air is balmy
And a golden half moon
Of August
Hangs high
In the sky.
"How beautiful is the Moon",
She says,
"Brighter than in June.
"A pity it is not full tonight".
"You know",
He tells her smiling,
"This thing may sound
Really puzzling,
But,
The part missing
From the Moon,
Is actually hidden
In a lagoon.
Nevertheless,
I offer it to you as a gift,
Before the scene
Would alter and shift,
And for good measure,
Fortune and luck,
I will pluck
For you
The other half, too,
So that you will possess
And own quite soon
The complete moon".
"Oh, no", she says,
"I don't want the moon,
Neither half,
Nor the whole of it,
I don't want it soon
Nor in next June.
Not even a small part.
Just give me, instead,
Your uncut heart".
