Another Slow Death
Objects and things I can dream about
intrigue me, but political speeches close
my brain down, as I force my eyes to the
page of my translation document analysing
political history, the synapses stop flashing
and my brain cells stop working
Ere long I feel ill and have to take a walk
to wake up again, over and over I try to read
these boring lines, look at positive affirmations
but they only work if we really want to accomplish
something; I do not really want to repeat political
inanities so trying to indoctrinate myself
Is not working, I have eaten mountains of healthy
foods to make me strong to tackle my enemy, I have
taken medicines till they spill out through my ears, but
still I cannot carry out my task, I am a moral failure, my
conscience cannot guide me to carry out a job I am paid
for, I am willing to die the death of the ignominious
For my inability, I cannot force another morsel of food down
my throat, cannot read another positive affirmation; politics is
my nemesis, I cannot distance myself from the duplicity and
self-serving diplomacy; all the fairies have deserted me as
they cannot stand the inner turmoil as I try to kill myself in
an attempt to do what I hate and abhor

How Do You Tackle Your Work
How do you tackle your work each day?
Are you scared of the job you find?
Do you grapple the task that comes your way
With a confident, easy mind?
Do you stand right up to the work ahead
Or fearfully pause to view it?
Do you start to toil with a sense of dread?
Or feel that you're going to do it?
You can do as much as you think you can,
But you'll never accomplish more;
If you're afraid of yourself, young man,
There's little for you in store.
For failure comes from the inside first,
It's there if we only knew it,
And you can win, though you face the worst,
If you feel that you're going to do it.

Am I political?
That's a strange question to ask,
By someone who also pays.
Religiously,
A tax of some kind to the government.
And those who express,
They want the government.
Out of their lives,
Only do so to hear their own voices.
Now.
If you had asked 'if' I was upset,

Has not increased my quality of life,

CANADIAN FEDERAL ELECTION Mar 30th,2011
We are having a federal election at the moment but no one knows why,
Some minor disagreement in Ottawa went up in the sky,
Though they are all adamant that something needs to be done,
And each claims that they should be the one that can’t be outdone.
Proportional representation is never even mentioned out loud,
Like binding referendums, it’s all wrapped in a political cloud,
Death-with-dignity is swept under the political rug,
As each political party tries to look so righteous and smug.
Turn on your TV and listen to them talk about this and that,
Mostly about their controlled scheduled boring campaign chat,
But referendums and death-with-dignity are shut out,
Those subjects are forbidden so they refuse to talk about.

I dont want any trouble. I dont want to make any waves.

Ive kept my distance. my feelings have never been shown.

The Darkness Of No Dreams.
In the darkness of no dreams
What will become of our country?
Looking to the future.
As if I can see through the mist.
Will the political madness forever reign?
Will we continue to march for the ignorance of greed?
A belief that we can continuously live beyond our means.
Is that a goal we really wish to achieve.
A debt to a power of infinity.
Is that really divinity?
Choking on the smoke screen.
The same from new faces.
What really changes?
Promises being made that one knows they can't keep.
Prolonging the problem.
Putting it off for someone else.
I just want to put food on my table for me and my family.
Working hard for the basic necessities.
And you fools make a mockery of everything I stand for.
So slowly my world is being destroyed.
Less and less for more and more.
With each of your new supposed accomplishments.
Comes another devastating consequence that you will never feel.
Because you don't live as me.
Yet you are making choices for my life without my consent.
